We went out to dinner with friends on Saturday evening and were absolutely thrilled. The ambiance was lovely. The staff was very friendly. And the food: excellent! 👍🏻👍🏻 A definite recommendation. We'd love to go back.

The best Greek restaurant in the region. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine, Vlachakis is the place to go. Everything is top-notch!

The most impressive thing about the restaurant is its large exterior facade. The food was delicious, but I don't understand the many rave reviews. The service seemed rather lackluster, the menu is a mix of Baden Greek and pub fare, and the prices are rather high. The dining room is more reminiscent of a hotel than a cozy restaurant – for me, the value for money isn't right, so there's no reason for a second visit.

Food, service, and atmosphere were 100% perfect! We had a wonderful time from cocktail hour to dessert. Our dog was welcome 🆗️🐕✅️. The restrooms are beautiful and clean🚾🚻🚺🚽🧻. The servers are adorable and attentive. And the meals were tasty, refined, and offered several vegetarian options. They even respected our intolerances. Free outdoor parking right in front. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was attentive, responsive, and friendly. What's also very nice is that there's little background noise, and people speak quietly. A wonderful discovery that we look forward to returning to the next time we're in the area.

Overall, a nice place. The food was okay, but not great. The meat was a bit dry, but the fries and baked potatoes were good.

The phone reservation was very friendly, which gave us hope for a pleasant evening. However, when we arrived, we were seated with our dog in a very tight spot at the edge of the restaurant, which was somewhat uncomfortable. Unfortunately, a request for more space could not be accommodated. The food arrived after a long wait. The appetizer platter consisted entirely of fried ingredients, which was not clearly stated on the menu. In our opinion, the taste was not harmonious, but the tzatziki was very good. The main courses unfortunately also didn't impress us. There were some variations in the service: One young waiter was very attentive, while the rest of the team seemed rather reserved. For us, it wasn't a place we would visit again. However, others are welcome to see for themselves and see if it suits their taste.

We were at Vlachakis Café Bar Restaurant – and it was simply a dream! Even the appetizer platter was a real treat: fresh, varied, and lovingly presented. The lamb fillet was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. A glass of excellent wine complemented it perfectly. To top it all off, we had homemade galaktoboureko – a poem! Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, just as it should be. The ambiance is beautiful both inside and out: cozy, stylish, and with great attention to detail. You immediately feel welcome and can simply enjoy yourself. The service was friendly, attentive, and warm – that's what makes eating out a real pleasure. A place you'll definitely want to return to. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the value for money wasn't really good. The grilled pork platter was €32, but there was only one side dish (fries, no rice, or anything similar), and that wasn't much. There was also very little meat, but it tasted very good. The side salad was also delicious. There was no ouzo beforehand, as at other Greek restaurants :( The banana split was also delicious, but I think €8 is a bit much for that portion. Our waiter was very nice, and the young employee who brought and cleared the food was also nice, albeit a bit stiff. He's certainly not been in the restaurant business for long. Regarding the ambiance, I have to say that the tables are too close together. It's hard to get through, and neither can the waiters, which sometimes leads to unintentional bumping into each other. It was quite nice outside, but unfortunately the weather wasn't ideal when we were there on Monday.

We were well received. Ordering was smooth and the service was friendly. The service was fast and the atmosphere was good. We would come again if we lived nearby.

Best Greek restaurant ever in Germany... great location... amazing menu, different from the run-of-the-mill Greek... that was the reason I didn't go back, because it was tired and boring... The end result was a definite win... Thanks for that... Food was spot on... the taste was a hit for all three of us... my sovlaki from roast lamb was absolutely tender... dessert was amazing... Greek yogurt mousse and a starter meze platter with garlic peppers... oh, we were so happy... and with that, the Waldhaus beer on tap and fine wines... Oh, and the espresso at the end made us even more delighted... it was perfect... Keep up the good work you've been doing, and above all, perfect service...

We love eating at Vlachakis; it's one of the few restaurants that never disappoints us! The food is delicious and much better than any of the other Greek restaurants in the area.

Very nice restaurant. We were there with our children. We all really enjoyed it. Parking is available right in front of the restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. We didn't have to wait long for our food. They also serve delicious cocktails. We'll definitely come back :)

Some of you might laugh, but we celebrated our wedding there :) We just wanted something different, and it was great! We were a challenge for the kitchen 😁 18 people, and then there was a whole range of food on the menu 😀 It worked out great 👍 There was only one dish that didn't arrive at the same time as the others, but there was a small accident in the kitchen 😄 We're all human, so... We thought it was good. The prices were a bit higher than at some other Greek restaurants, but the food was really good.

The service seemed a bit listless and surly. The food was okay, but we didn't think it was good value for money. Next time we want Greek food, we'll try a different restaurant.

We stopped by for lunch today on our bikes. The lunch menu was excellent. The service was very friendly. We'll definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again.

Wir haben vor einer Woche im Restaurant gegessen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Wir essen sehr gerne griechisch aber das was uns aufgetischt wurde war unterirdisch, Das Gyros war sehr fettig und geschmacklos, das Hacksteak war grün und schmeckte undefinierbar, die frittierten Calamares waren nicht frittiert sondern mit einem Hauch von Panade oder was es sein sollte, aber mit Sicherheit nicht frittiert wie sein sollte. Die Pommes Fritte waren noch halb roh. Das einzig geniessbare war der Salat war gut und hatte uns auf den Rest positiv eingestimmt. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nie mehr zu diesem Griechen gehen.

The best Greek restaurant 😍 My wife and I were in Heitersheim on February 17th and were looking for a restaurant for dinner. Google suggested this to us and after the reports we were curious whether the food lived up to what the reports promised. I could write x sentences about how great and enthusiastic we were and how great the food and staff were. But in short, it deserves 10 stars for the food and staff and I'm sad that there isn't a Greek restaurant in our area. Had lamb chops with rosemary potatoes and eggplant/zucchini with calamari (the best ever) as well as scampi's. If we're in the area again at the Landgasthof Krone, we'll 100% come back over. Thank you for this great evening with you😍

Unfortunately part of my stuffed steak was not edible, tendons were raw. The waitress apologized and wanted to pass it on. But they would have made up for me with an espresso or other drink, so unfortunately I don't go there anymore.

Great and modern Greek restaurant. The food and service were good, only the salmon was a bit very salty. I suspect it was pickled with salt. It was very salty and the rest was really good. I would have liked a little less fries on the grill plate and more of a side dish like tomato rice or something like that. Everything was okay in terms of price. We'll be back. Staff very friendly

Welcoming restaurant with great service, nice ambience and fantastic food. Price-performance ratio is absolutely within the framework. The only drawback is that it's a bit noisy in the large room due to the large number of guests and relatively narrow tables. We would still like to come back!

Quick stop at this restaurant. Had Tamara fish roe paste and a gyro meat plate. It was solid, but it lacked a bit of pizzazz for me. The tarama paste in particular was a bit flat. The rest was correct, such as the service and ambience were appealing.

Toller Service, stilvolles Ambiente und ein leckeres Essen Wir hatten Gambas als Vorspeise und dann klassisch Gyrosplatte Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren mit 3 Personen zum Abendessen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und flink. Ich hatte eine Hummersuppe bestellt und sie kam auch recht zügig. Leider habe ich von Hummer nichts gerochen, und auch keinerlei Hummerfleisch gefunden. Anstatt den " angekündigten " Krabben, die in der Suppe sein sollten, waren ein paar kleine Krebse zu finden. Die Bedienung fragte, ob etwas Brot gewünscht wird, was ich bejahte. Daraufhin wurden 5 Scheiben Baguette Brot und zwei Scheiben Bauernbrot gebracht. Die bestellten Lammkoteletts waren zu sehr gegrillt, eines davon total verbrannt, somit nicht genießbar. Die Pommes waren dafür sehr, sehr gut und ausreichend. Ich hätte dies alles auf sich beruhen lassen, aber als ich zu Hause, (leider hätte ich dies gleich tun sollen),, die Abrechnung durchsah, stellte ich fest, dass mir für das Brot, ich aß eine Scheibe Baguette, 7,90 €uro , berechnet wurden. So teures Brot habe ich noch nie gegessen! Ich kann das Lokal nicht empfehlen.

I hadn't eaten at a Greek restaurant in ages as the past few times had really disappointed me. Today we spontaneously decided to give the Vlachakis restaurant a chance to convince ourselves otherwise and you can only say one thing: MEGA!!!!! And this started with the telephone reservation, where we were asked whether high chairs should be provided for our two small children. The phone call ended with the words “[…], we look forward to seeing you.” Such a small phrase, but one that immediately triggered sympathy. And the really big WIN, besides the really good food, was the service at Vlachakis. Really courteous and very attentive. Our two children in particular were looked after very charmingly by the waitresses and we all felt very welcome. Many thanks to the entire team, we would love to come back.

With you we not only get delicious and inexpensive food every lunchtime, but also a family atmosphere in which we feel completely comfortable. You are always patient with our special requests, always have a casual saying ready and show a noticeable commitment to each and every guest. Already on our first visit we were impressed by the inviting ambience and warm atmosphere. It's not uncommon for us to stay with you throughout the entire break, simply because we feel so welcome. Even though we come from Freiburg, we always enjoy going to Heitersheim to spend our time with you. Thank you very much for everything!

A very modernly decorated restaurant with a lot of room, whether you want to sit inside, or outside on the terrace. A lot of tables to choose from, from two persons to a big group of 10+ people. They even have real citrus trees outside, that grow real fruit on their branches. The food is an absolute delight, very well prepared and delicious. I recommend anything from the grill. A very polite and respectful greek family runs the business and they definitely know what are they doing. Very friendly and diligent staff. I have been there a dozen times and will be back again and again.

We didn't get an answer to our reservation request via the website, so we had to call. Parking spaces are scarce. A tip about where else you could park would be helpful.

Hello everyone The food was delicious The service from the boy was very good, only the young woman didn't go, she climbed onto the bench with her shoes to set the table and the cutlery that accidentally fell down was still put on the table. The plates were cleared even though not everyone had finished eating. When our last person had finished eating, she came and said: “It’s already done.”

I was very hungry after an event and managed to get a place and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was extremely courteous and attentive.

By far the best Greek in this area! Although the furnishings are chic and modern, the volume inside is a bit too high and the acoustics could need work. Therefore two points deducted for the ambience. We still come regularly, but that doesn't affect the food or service :) In summer, the outdoor terrace is highly recommended!
