They wanted to do Italian, but it had nothing to do with Italian cuisine! Nothing about it was Italian at all. The food was a disaster. We had seafood risotto that was completely watery and tasteless. Furthermore, the seafood was frozen and of very poor quality for the price! Unacceptable!!! A fried shrimp was lying on the side of the plate; it was completely mealy and I had to spit it out of the serving dish – so disgusting!!! The risotto was also served in a deep plate (soup plate) because it was so runny and more like rice soup… I also had avocado tartare with scallops, which was the biggest outrage for the price they charged. It had absolutely no flavor, wasn't seasoned, wasn't finely chopped, just squeezed and carelessly shoved onto the plate. No oil, no lemon, no seasoning, nothing. And on top of that, two scallops that weren't even properly cooked. None of them were seasoned, and the scallops were ice cold! This restaurant is a complete disgrace!!!! We had to refill our own wine glasses, and for the price they were charging, we should have been treated accordingly! We felt ripped off! We also had a fish platter that was inedible, plus tiny portions and other unappetizing items. All in all, 250 euros down the drain. It's a shame because the location and the restaurant itself are very nice.

The price/performance ratio is absolutely unacceptable. They want to create the impression of an upscale restaurant, but they can't even begin to deliver. The wait is endless, the salad is sandy, the anchovies are pungent, the pizza drenched in oil (complete with stomach cramps the next day),... Even the passion fruit spritzer was stale and watery. And all of this at completely overpriced prices. Definitely never again 👎🏼

We waited almost two hours for our mediocre and completely overpriced food. The waiter repeatedly forgot our drink orders. Once, and never again!

Absolutely unacceptable. We waited forever for the food. We were a group of 10 people who had made a reservation. Yet, guests who arrived after us were served first. And the food was below average (oily pizza, unloving salads, very small portions). Definitely not worth the prices they charge.

It was crowded and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately overwhelmed by the number of guests... The corridor to the restroom in the casino, a separate entrance via a staircase, was very dirty and littered with cigarette butts... So, our first impression of the casino was not good... We only later discovered that this entrance belongs to the restroom of the Italian restaurant... They could score points for cleanliness (Italians).

The location on Lake Constance is beautiful, but everything else leaves much to be desired. The service is inattentive and chaotic. After initially being ignored for a long time, the menu was often mixed up and people were repeatedly forgotten. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

No, reservation made on July 30, 2025, at 5:27 p.m. for 6:30 p.m. The response that there were no seats available came at 7:47 p.m. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. in the rain. The interior was closed, only the terrace was open, and that was in the rain. The seats offered were already wet from the rain; only the middle seats were available, and they were already occupied. The staff were unfriendly and overwhelmed. Not recommended. We then ate at our Hotel RIVA.

We organized a dinner for our guests at this restaurant after our civil wedding – and we couldn't have wished for a more beautiful setting. The entire team was very friendly, polite, and extremely accommodating from the very beginning. Communication beforehand ran smoothly, and our requests were met with great understanding and flexibility. On the day of the celebration, everything worked out perfectly: The menu was outstanding, the service was attentive, and our guests felt very comfortable and welcome. We would like to thank the entire team sincerely – it couldn't have gone better! A definite recommendation for special occasions.

We ordered and picked up two pizzas. Both pizzas were only lukewarm, which was a shame but not a big deal. What was outrageous, however, was that they forgot to add the salami to one of the pizzas and simply added it cold on top. For that price, it's a real disgrace! We will definitely not buy our pizza there again in the future.

The food was delicious, great location, lakefront, but we waited a long time, we were preceded by a couple who were after us, the table setting was incomplete, with dirty napkins.

An unforgettable experience – simply excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm truly speechless! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The food was not only superbly prepared, but also presented with great attention to detail – each course was a delight for all the senses. What made this experience absolutely extraordinary, however, was the service. I've never been served so attentively, friendly, and professionally! The staff were present at all times without being intrusive and made you feel truly welcome. Your every wish was practically anticipated. I've been to many good restaurants, but such superb service – honestly, this was the best I've ever experienced. Hospitality is truly alive here! I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special evening.

In terms of service, this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. We had to wait 30 minutes for the menu. It wasn't even handed to us, it was just shoved in our faces. We then ordered drinks and they came relatively quickly. Another half hour passed before a server came to order our food, and they didn't respond to any of our hand signals. The pizza was really delicious though and we enjoyed it. Paying was a real pain as no one came by. If you don't want to waste 3 hours on your vacation, avoid this restaurant at all costs!!!!!!

The food was quite tasty – but unfortunately, that was the only bright spot. The service, however, left much to be desired: The staff seemed disinterested, at times arrogant, and friendly gestures like raising a hand were met with annoyed looks. At times, one even had the unpleasant impression of not being welcome – which was quite disappointing. The ambiance thrives almost exclusively on the beautiful view of Lake Constance, which adds a certain dignity to the visit. Overall, good food alone isn't enough to compensate for the poor overall impression.

A good friend recommended this restaurant to us, but we were not at all happy with our experience there. Our orders for the aperitif, starter, and main course were simply ignored. We had barely placed our food orders during the aperitif when the wines for the main course were served. After that, nothing came for a long time – and then they served one of the two main courses. Where was our starter? After we received it, only one main course was served – the second was forgotten… We even got that one! The collaboration between service and kitchen at this restaurant is completely nonsensical. Our table neighbors had the same problems. It's a shame – the location is in a very beautiful spot, and the staff are very helpful when you raise concerns; however, they are unfortunately constantly in an "apology" mode. The only positive point – the chef is great. We enjoyed the meals very much.

The worst restaurant I've ever visited. From the very beginning, we were pressured – as if we hadn't come to eat, but were disturbing someone. The waiters kept pestering us: "Don't stay too long," "Are you ready yet?" – and this after only 30 minutes. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a crowded train station than a restaurant. The risotto was an absolute disaster: completely inedible, with overcooked, tasteless rice. The "Caesar salad" was a joke – just cabbage with chicken. No dressing, no Parmesan, no croutons – absolutely nothing resembling a real Caesar. And then the "reserved" tables – half the place was empty, but we were told that everything was reserved or only for groups of four or more. Clearly, this was done to artificially create hype. No one came, and the tables remained empty. When we asked for the bill, we had to wait another 15 minutes – probably on purpose. Conclusion: Rude, bad food, disrespectful service, and a fake, artificial demand. I definitely won't be back – and I strongly advise everyone else not to, too.

I celebrated my birthday at Villagio with over 60 people. During the planning phase, there were some difficulties with accessibility and feedback, but the extra effort and great service at the party made up for it. Beautiful location right on the lake, aperitif on the balcony with a fantastic view, and the food was also excellent. Thank you for a successful celebration!

Definitely not recommended. There weren't several main courses on the menu, "unfortunately they were out". The service was arrogant. The ambience has nothing to do with the pictures on Instagram and is below average at best. The food seemed to be made from processed products and was definitely not worth the price. We were there for the first and last time.

Ich kann die Bewertungen hier nicht verstehen Wir trafen auf herrlich nette und freundliche Leute. Kamen direkt aus Apulien hier her. Dann hervorragendes Vitello. Gutes Risotto. Gute Ravioli. Sehr gute offene Weine. Sicherlich nicht super preiswert. Aber was erwartet man von Konstanz und dem Bodensee. Ein Schnäppchen? Für uns war alles gut wir kommen wieder

Mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen hatten wir einen Tisch im Außenbereich reserviert. Bei bestem Wetter und tollem Seeblick ließen wir uns bis zur Sperrstunde um 23 Uhr kulinarisch verwöhnen. Ich denke über die Preise muss man hier nicht viel Worte verlieren, diese sind durchaus im gehobenen Bereich und ob man für ein Glas Wein inzwischen 13 (!) Euro verlangen muss, das sei dahingestellt. Aber wie so oft im Leben ist es dann vor allem „Lage, Lage, Lage“ und da gibt es natürlich volle Punktzahl. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, dann lag eine Flasche Weißwein bei etwa 40 €, das ist heutzutage kein Luxus-Segment mehr. Wir ließen uns zu Beginn bunt gemischte Vorspeisenteller bringen, da war von Bruschetta über Vitello Tonnato bis zu Rinder-Carpaccio alles dabei. Bei den Hauptspeisen wurde mindestens drei Mal das Rinderfilet bestellt und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte den „Pesce Misto“ und war wirklich begeistert. Die Portion bestand aus einem Polpo, einem Stück Lachs, einer Riesengarnele und einem ordentlich großen Stück Dorade. Dazu hatte ich Grillgemüse. Schmeckte großartig. Wenn es überhaupt etwas auszusetzen gibt, dann die Tatsache, dass mich unser Kellner nicht nur ein Mal beim Nachschenken etwas ungeschickt angerempelt hat, das geht bestimmt etwas vorsichtiger. Und leider mussten wir mit der Sperrstunde um kurz nach 23 Uhr das Lokal verlassen. Aber der Rest war perfekt.

Reservation in person ( with Claudia ) for a table on the terrace did never register. Our host upon arrival, a “Herr” Bukanju ( turned out to be the manager) particularly unhelpful and condescending. Staff in general out of their depth and bothered. Service on a par with that of a “Schnellimbiss” (German Fast Food Joint). Food pricey, however Pizza good. Mixed fish mediocre. In essence, appalling service and dismal value in an otherwise beautiful setting. As a local, would not recommend

We were at the lake night festival on the upper terrace. Fantastically beautiful view. There was a three course menu. Absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. The food was always on point and tasted great! The staff was friendly and pleasant despite the restaurant being full to capacity. Recommended!

Guten Tag, am Samstag den 10.8. Seenachtsfest waren wir 5 Personen und haben bei Ihnen gegessen, dass Essen war ausgezeichnet, hingegen der Service war mehr als miserabel. Der Chef arrogant unhöflich und offensichtlich keine Ahnung wie man Gäste verwöhnt!!! Es gab keine Wein Empfehlung , weder noch eine Karte oder so was ähnliches. Den Weißwein tranken wir aus Rotwein Gläser und den Rotwein aus Weißwein Gläser , ich hatte das Gefühl wir sind in einer Selbstbedienungs-Bude , nicht nur wir mussten uns den Wein selber einschenken, sonder auch an den anderen Tischen sah ich, wie die Gäste aufstanden und sich den Wein holen mussten um die Gläser nachzufüllen???? Salz und Pfeffer gibt es auch nur eine Garnitur, immer wieder nahmen sie uns Salz/Pfeffer vom Tisch, mit der Erklärung sie haben nur ein Set. Gott sei Dank war das Essen sehr gut!!! Das Personal war völlig überfordert und oben drauf auch noch sehr unfreundlich!!! Keiner von denen besitzt einen funken von Empathie, wie kann es nur sein das solche Leute in der Gastronomie landen, prüft man heute nicht mehr ob sie vom Fach sind, oder wenigsten eine Ahnung von der Gastronomie haben???? Ganz klar so verliert man seine gut konsumierenden Gäste die jedes Jahr kommen, eine Entschuldigung für das unprofessionelles verhalten wäre angebracht gewesen, uns als Gäste haben sie verloren. Leider wurden Apperitiv (Prosecco)Wein und Mineralwasser gleichzeitig gebracht. Das Mineralwasser wurde quer über den Tisch eingeschenkt ebenso wurde die Gläser einfach quer über den Tisch gereicht. Der Tisch war ohne Tischdecke lieblos (4 Eckig grau) mit Einsteck-Besteck-Papierserviette dekoriert. Der Insalata Mista klein lieblos, geschmacklos in tiefer Schale mit grob geviertelten Tomaten und grünem Kopfsalat gereicht. Das Rinder Carpacchio mit Rucola zugedeckt. Zum Nordseelachs (30 €) wurde zum Risotto als einzige Beilage 8,00 € zusätzlich berechnet. Das Nudelgericht war nicht al dente sondern hart. Die Nachbartische in vorderer Reihe, des sehr schön gelegenen Restaurants, waren sehr schön eingedeckt - so wie man es von einem guten Italienischen Lokal vorstellt - waren für das Konstanzer Stadtmarketing vorgesehen. Dies wird unser letzter Besuch dieses Restaurant sein. Leider hat unser bisheriges bestes italienisches Restaurant in Konstanz geschlossen.

I can say total disappointment! We asked the waiter for the bill without the receipt and he says price without really seeing what was in this price! Asking for the receipt the waiter asked "but do you need it" after getting the receipt I find myself with Desert 4 times typed but there were two of us and he still asks for €10 because he says that a Desert less was meso! Without words 🤷‍♀️I'm never coming back 🤷‍♀️

This Italian restaurant is not very well rated but this is totally false. We have had twice dinner over here and all we can say, is that the food is excellent, the staff is super efficient and friendly, and the price quality is excellent as well. Do not hesitate, this place is highly recommended.

A novelty.Destination Eating I stroll through the location.A chef is handling frozen pizza or something similar. 2 other waitresses are watching.I ask, is the pizza good?"Answer: "If you ask that, you won't get anything." I sit down to order. At the table next door a woman complains that the pizza wasn't good, but the base wasn't baked through. She's banned from the house!!! Well, I didn't get to order food or drinks because I was sitting next to the woman and wasn't served. very bad 3 aggressive waiters that is a novelty and deserves the deepest respect.

Leider schlechter Service: wenig Kenntnisse über die angebotenen Weine; bei dem erst bestellten „Rote-Beete-Carpaccio“ gab es die beworbenen/ besonderen „eingelegten schwarzen Nüsse“ nicht; anstatt dem bestellten „Gegrillten Oktopus“ wurden „Baby Calamari“ serviert und das alles zu extrem „stolzen Preisen“!

A nice restaurant with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. A small point of criticism for me personally was the consistency of the Vitello Tonnato Cream, which was a bit too runny compared to what I'm used to. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the staff was very nice and attentive.

Das Tagesmenue ist sehr zu empfehlen, war hervorragend gekocht und schmeckte echt fein. Sehr guter gediegener Service, was heutzutage nicht mehr oft anzutreffen ist.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe und 2 Kindern da. Ein Kind wurde nach dem Essen müde und uns wurde sehr freundlich ein Bank für das Kind zum schlafen angeboten. Die Kellnerin war dann noch so aufmerksam dem Kind eine Decke zu bringen. Sonst war der Service auch absolut Top. Beim Essen haben wir am gesamten Tisch auch nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht. Nudeln, Pizza, Suppe, Salat alles Top! Würden wir in Konstanz wohnen, wären wir häufiger hier. Absolute Empfehlung

Haben diesmal zu zweit 95 Euro fürs Abendessen ausgegeben. Saltimbocca für 23€ waren 2 dünne Schweinsnierstückchen mit etwas Soße. Die Beilage müsste dazu bestellt werden für je 4,50 z.B. Rosmarinkartoffeln oder Grillgemüse. Ich meine das war früher inklusive. Die Teller waren übersichtlich. Unser großer Salat für 9,50 (der für uns beide reichte) bestand aus Blattsalat, Paprika, Gurken- und Tomatenscheiben und etwas geraspelten Karotten. Tiramisu (1x) für 7€ war schön angerichtet mit einigen Beeren. Ich habe aber schon viel bessere gegessen. Besonders die Biscotti darin waren nichts. Essen war ok (Fleisch saftig) mehr aber auch nicht, zumal für den Preis. Die Herren vom Service waren überaus höflich. Was uns definitiv negativ in Erinnerung bleibt ist, dass auf dem Parkplatz kurz vor der Abfahrt ein Herr, der offenbar zum Haus gehörte, meint mich darauf hinweisen zu müssen, dass "dies nicht erlaubt" sei. Ich war gerade dabei in meinem Fahrzeug meinen Hunden ihren Anteil an meinem Saltimbocca zu füttern weil sie so brav gewartet hatten und schaute ihn fragend an. "Der Parkplatz ist für Autos" schob er nach. Aha. Mit einem Van darf man also nicht hier her zum Essen fahren und parken! Der große Parkplatz war eigentlich ein Grund weshalb wir diesmal das Restaurant gewählt hatten. Somit sieht der Parkplatz und das Restaurant uns nicht wieder, auch nicht mit unseren anderen vielleicht eher "Casino -adäquaten" Fahrzeugen.

We had the lunch special here today, but we did not ask for a 2. Räuberteller ... 😂 These were our actual plates, one small bite is missing from the top one. To be fair, a small side salad came with it. But we had fun and the ambiance is nice here. Very friendly staff, too.

Schöne Terrasse mit wunderbarem Blick über den Bodensee. Servicemitarbeiter Nino von ausgesuchter Freundlich - und Höflichkeit. Eine Perle seines Fachs!!! Das Essen zum Mittagstisch von hervorragender Qualität zum überraschend kleinen Preis. Alles in allem so wie man es sich wünscht!

Sehr schönes Ambiente an der Seestraße mit Blick auf den Bodesnsee Preislich sehr hoch im Vergleich zu dem was da auf dem Teller ist. Wer mit der Intention kommt um nach der Mahlzeit satt zu sein, sollte hier nicht speisen. Es ist wirklich nichts wenn man hungrig ist. Zum Essen selbst. Der Salat ist in einer Schüssel und man macht sich Balsamico oder Öl dran, nicht ungewöhnlich aber etwas ideenlos. Dazu wird Brot serviert, in unserem Fall mit Walnüssen, Allergiker bitte aufpassen! Das Gericht mit Lachs war kaum gewürzt, und der Hauch einer Sauce war leider auch kein Geschmacksträger. Resume: zum sitzen und was trinken sehr schön, bei Essen muss das jeder selbst wissen. Ich brauche es für den Preis kein zweites mal.

The place is worth for it's wonderful view to the lake. It has Italian dishes but it's not Italian. The waitress tries to provide a good service. All in all a nice place, loved the surf and turf.

Auf der Menukarte stand Hausgemacht. Ist aber nicht so. Ravioli waren grosse Tortellini sehr symmetrisch also steht Hausgemacht auf de Verpackung vielleicht. Tagliatelle an "Fondue di Peccorino " war kein Peccorino sondern einfach Sahne. Vitello Tonnato schmeckte nach Mayonnaise. Service etwas lasch. Etwas teuer für die Qualität des Essens. Ansonsten schöne Aussicht auf dem See für feine Gaumen nicht zu empfehlen.

Idyllische Location an der Seepromenade in Konstanz. Das Essen war überdurchschnittlich gut - in diesem Fall Ravioli mit Ricotta Füllung. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender und kompetenter Servicemitarbeiter (bei uns "Nino", den wir hier explizit loben wollen). Dir Lage und das Wetter vervollständigen hier mit einem wunderschönen Ambiente auf der Terrasse! Lob!

Sehr nett gelegen direkt am See. Wir waren nachmittags zum Kaffee und Kuchen da (obwohl it. Google geschlossen sein sollte). Die Terrasse scheint also immer offen zu sein.

Hervorragende Wein Auswahl, schönes Ambiente und wirklich leckeres und weiter zu empfehlendes Tiramisu.

Nach Wanderung von der Fähre nach Konstanz Hbf zufällig gefunden und hängengeblieben. Wir waren zu früh, durften schon Platz nehmen und zu trinken bestellen. Später kam dann noch das Essen dazu, sensationell. Geschmacklich und von der Zubereitung her sehr gut und zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Schönes Lokal mit Terrasse am See. Service sehr freundlich. Essen war gut, hat jedoch noch etwas Luft nach oben! Preisleistung eher gehoben, aber immerhin frisch!

Wir haben dort unsere kleine Hochzeit gefeiert und waren super zufrieden. Der Kellner war super aufmerksam, das Essen war sehr gut und das Restaurant ist einfach wunderschön eingerichtet. Immer wieder gern.
