We were spontaneously in Konstanz on Friday and were in the mood for Italian food. Because of the good Google reviews, we chose Pizzeria Rossini - and we weren't disappointed! Even though it was already quite full and we didn't have a reservation, Nico gave us a very warm welcome. The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive and warm. The food was really tasty, from the bresaola to the starter to the pasta, and the prices are absolutely fair. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality; you really feel welcome and in good hands here. Grazie mille to the whole team, we'll be happy to come back! 😊🍕

The mixed salad was unfortunately disappointing: lukewarm and obviously from a can - charging 7 euros for it is definitely not justified. The Buffalo Mozzarella Salad lacked creativity and inspiration. The pizza, on the other hand, tasted okay. All in all, I think the prices are a bit too high for this quality.

This might be the worst pizza I've ever had. While other reviews mention that people enjoyed the pizza from this restaurant, I believe the chef wasn’t at their best today. This suggests that there isn't a consistent standard being upheld, which is not a good sign. The atmosphere and service were great 👌

Ordered food. Just a disaster. Pizza scampi still raw and cold. Fries soggy and cold. Unfortunately the veal schnitzel wasn't cooked through either. The only edible thing was the tiramisu

I ordered a pasta dish via Uber Eats and was unfortunately very disappointed. The dish we ordered is described as follows: "Handmade pasta with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes in a light tomato sauce specially served in our Mezza pizza plate." The price was an impressive €17, which is why I expected something special. The picture in the menu conveyed a pasta dish in baked pizza dough (see screenshot). In the end there was only an aluminum bowl with a pasta dish with 6 half slices of mozzarella and 3 cherry tomatoes. The taste was ok, but overall not worth the money. Will not order there again.

After our walk through the old town we came across the Rossini. Ambience nice. Service friendly and attentive. My pizza is simply heavenly good!

Paid almost 20 euros for each dish and the antipasto came without bread (which Italian restaurant has that), the pasta didn't come as advertised and in the restaurant in bread, but still paid the money for it - ridiculous. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Not worth the money.

Really good Tarturo pizza we shared along with a half carafe of Merlot between the two of us. Nice atmosphere, and was quite busy for a weekday. Would definitely reccomend. Took a bit of time to attract the waitress to pay even though they had the light box on the table to attract attention!

Unfortunately it's not enough for 5 stars, the reason for the deduction is mainly the food. The starter, the salad, was good, although the sauce was apparently from Lidl. Unfortunately, the Gambas Aglio e Olio from the oven didn't have much flavor - very disappointing for Italian cuisine. The pizza was very good, but for the price of €22 I think it's too expensive. The pasta arrabbiata was bland and the pasta was overcooked. This should never happen in a specialized Italian restaurant, even on a bad day. What saved the whole thing was the server. She was great and also noticed that we were disappointed with the food. The ambience was very nice. Overall 2 stars deducted because of the food. You should urgently speak to the kitchen here.

Everything is just mega, mega pizza, mega pasta, staff courteous and nice, atmosphere super nice. The only thing missing is a changing area for families with small children and babies - a shame.

Beautiful and modern Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. Ordered pizzas tasted excellent, tasty pizza base with good crust. Good but not overly invested. Risotto imperial and the tiramisu were excellent. So, go try Rossini!!

We ordered various dishes. ALL were terribly bad. Not to mention the fact that the driver apparently didn't have an address and took another 15 minutes via WHATSAPP guidance. Factually speaking: there is sand in the salad, tiramisu looks like it has been eaten before, there is disgusting balsamic cream everywhere, pizza is much too small for around 22 EUR. And it doesn't taste good either. Everything doesn't seem fresh, the cheapest ingredients - no thanks! We definitely won't order a second time.

This review only refers to a situation we experienced. It may be that there are better daily ratings or even worse. Four of us were there for dinner on Saturday. The staff, some of whom didn't understand German, were incredibly unfriendly, especially the Spanish-speaking lady who even made fun of guests and the boss laughed with them, impossible!!!!!! As a neighbor at the table, we heard how you both were gossiping!!!! That doesn't leave a good impression on the other guests! The other two waiters don't make a face and simply wait until the guests leave and new ones arrive. Too bad! The food was nothing special, partly oversalted! But the staff is the main reason why we definitely won't come here again! Food: so-so Staff: catastrophic, stressed, forgetful, unfriendly, make a bad face, not attentive!!!! Ambiance: ok

During a family trip we decided to go out for pizza at short notice and stopped by by chance. Very nicely decorated. Get food and drinks quickly. Even requests for the children were taken into account. We'll definitely see each other again. Keep it up and best regards to the team.

very bad service! If you don't have a bottle of cola, you must specify this when ordering. Coca Cola came to me in a glass and it had no taste and no carbonation at all! I took a Coke Zero that came in a bottle. I told a waitress who never brought my coke and we watched as she shrugged and left. I told them to come and order again and they said yes we are coming but they never came. After some time they came back, I told about the Coca-Cola and they brought it after 10 minutes. The food came, the waiter didn't even ask if I wanted cheese!! Once again I made a point of them coming to ask about the cheese and again they came after 10 minutes. There weren't that many people there! In general the service was bad, only one blonde lady from the service was friendly!!!

We ate Italian twice. The spaghetti carbonara is a poem and a generously sized portion Pizza should be improved in terms of dough, too soft, toppings otherwise good. Service optimal. Good address with normal prices

Arriving without a reservation, the waiter did everything to find us a table, the service was impeccable despite a full restaurant, and we enjoyed the pizzas which were incredible.

We visited the restaurant on 8/26/24. The pizza tasted bland and was slightly burnt. The pasta also lacked taste. It was cheap but we weren't full either. The service was okay, the waiting time was a bit too long. However, the facility is great.

After a rocky start where the waitress forgot to put our drinks order through and then did not come back for the food order (with a hungry 7 year old). However after asking one of the head waiters, we got our drinks and our food, which were delicious - Aglio olio and a baked pasta dish sealed with bread .

The ambience is excellent. The food arrives relatively quickly and the service is always courteous and extremely attentive. In summary, this establishment is a good place for a nice pizza. Not to forget the pint is great, even as a German. The end is just for a good pizza and an excellent beer.

I would have expected more from an Italian restaurant. Pizza was OK, but not really good. Salad was basic, and rather than using simply salt and olive oil, they put a strange vinaigrette sauce.

We discovered the restaurant by chance, as it is in a side street and therefore a bit hidden:) The staff is very friendly and has an Italian flair, so you feel like you're not in Germany at all. So far, every time we have visited, it has happened that they have forgotten the wine that was ordered with the main course. Despite this, they impress with their delicious and beautifully presented food. After the main course the kitchen was already closed because we were late. Suddenly the serving staff showed up with my desired dessert:) All in all, a top restaurant.

For me the best pizzeria on Lake Constance, which I visit every year for the Lake Night Festival. Great food, location on a quiet side street opposite the festival grounds. Despite numerous reservations, the employees try to offer a table, even if it is actually reserved but there is a time limit. Awesome. 👍

Nice decor, pleasant atmosphere and good food. Reservation via Google worked almost smoothly. The food came quickly, but a drink was not delivered despite repeated requests. However, this mishap was compensated for. Despite this, recommended!

We are now regulars. We tried a lot of pizzas on Lake Constance but none come close to Rossini's. Good flour, Italian ingredients and good wine combined with incredibly great service make every visit an absolute experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We have eaten at Rossini several times and have always been very satisfied. No matter whether it was pasta, pizza or meat, the food was always very good and the service was always very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Cocktails were good. Pizza, pasta, carpaccio and shrimps were very good. Steak with fries was ordered medium. But it was served completely. The appetizer came within a very short time. We waited over an hour between the starter and the main course. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately not so attentive. We had to wait over 15 minutes for bread and had to remind us three times. My main course was served without cutlery. I had to ask for cutlery. No wine list was given. Besides the two red and white wines, do you have any others on the menu? It's a bit cramped outside and when others smoke at the table it gets pretty uncomfortable. In the end we were a bit tired and didn't order coffee or dessert.

We had a very good meal here in a nice atmosphere. The waiter was very accommodating. The prices are rather high but still reasonable for a tourist hotspot.

We made a lovely atmosphere ourselves as we haven’t seen each other with my boyfriend for a while. Staff looked attentive at the arrival, but while we stayed longer we spotted it wasn’t really true, which was a bit disappointing. Food is absolutely delicious and very good portions, which I appreciated after very long journey from Slovakia. We ate there next day too, again, delicious gnocchi, service slightly poor (unfortunately, I don’t have pictures from that next day).

Really everything is very good. We will be back.

Four of us had dinner here on July 13th, 2024. Everything outside was full, inside it was rather empty. There was still a free table downstairs, the dog park at the entrance. We asked if we could sit upstairs and were told rather arrogantly that everything was occupied. Up the stairs everything was clear, and this hadn't changed when we left after dinner. In addition, in the end we only received the bill after the third request, after about 30 minutes. We were very unhappy with the service and therefore cannot recommend the restaurant. The food was very good and the price was just right. But don't take away the unfriendliness. Everyone has to know for themselves.

Very friendly and fast staff. You never have to wait long for your food and shortly after ordering there was a fresh salad and fresh bread in front of us. The bread was very tasty and homemade. The pizza was very large and tasted absolutely amazing. We ordered a pizza for two people and it was divided into two parts without us having to say anything. So all in all a perfect Italian restaurant.

Very nice location, the service was very courteous and not too intrusive. We ate a carpaccio di manzo, scampi in olive oil with garlic and a pizza with truffles, we were very very enthusiastic about everything!! It was really delicious and we have nothing to complain about. 1A!!

We have ordered here frequently in the last few weeks. Including a total of 3x Insalata Caprese for €10.50 With each new delivery I received less for my money. The absolute outrage, however, is today's portion. The buffalo mozzarella is now only half the size of the first delivery. The tomatoes are simply sliced ​​and carelessly placed in the bowl. The amount of arugula is also very small. Basil was completely missing. Salt and pepper is probably no longer financially viable... In terms of taste, as expected, it looks so bland and boring. I then quickly captured this “incredible” Insalata Mixta photographically… €10.50 for almost nothing. The pitying looks from my table companions did nothing to improve my mood. I won't be ordering here anymore for now.

I discovered Rossini by chance when the sushi restaurant repeatedly refused to accept my reservation and thank God! I have now become a regular customer and occasionally go out for lunch with the children or in the evening with family, friends and sometimes with my work colleagues. Delicious food, perfect service, I hope you can maintain your level. Big compliment!

I will begin with mentioning that the food is decent, where the risotto imperial was quite well made. However the entire experience here was ruin with an interaction with a male staff (I suspect he is the manager judging by his full black fit). The wait for the food was very long, where we waited around 30 minutes for the food. While waiting, we rang for service and simply ask the male staff for an update on the progress of our meal. To our shock, he replied us extremely condescendingly. He said “this is not like McDonald’s, we are a restaurant that needs around 10-15 minutes to prepare”. We were definitely shocked at such a response, and further said that we have already waited for 30 minutes. Instead of telling us he will check, he further stood his ground that it takes time for them to prepare. Overall, this could have been a decent experience but was completely ruined by such a rude response. This is definitely not the hospitality that a full service restaurant should offer.

Food portion size is actually big and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, the whole experience was ruined due to the rude male manager’s attitude and long waiting time for the food to arrive. We waited at least 30 minutes and afterwards, reached out to the manager to enquire about the status of our food. He then gave a snarky remark that we are expected to wait 10-15 minutes and that this isn’t a fast food restaurant. We then explained that this was our first enquiry and that we’ve already waited 30 minutes. With that explanation, he realised the mistake and rushed our order out. Despite so, our appetite and mood was ruined from his condescending response. All in all, that’s what led to the rating.

Portion sizes were decent and the food was alright. But the service overall was horrendous. After ordering, my friends and I waited for nearly 40mins, yet there was no sign of our food being ready. We went ahead and ask a server, who we assumed might have been the manager to inquire about our food. When we raised the question, he replied condescendingly: “ This is not macdonalds, you have to wait for your food. It will usually take 10-15 minutes.” this is frankly quite rude and unacceptable. we’ve waited for nearly 40mins for our food, only to receive this response. This should be addressed and I hope to not see this happen ever again.

Super great restaurant, the pizza is incredibly good and tasty, the salad too. It's been a long time since I've seen such a beautifully prepared salad and especially with lots of ingredients. If we come back to Konstanz, we will definitely eat here again. Price performance, great service, great ambience, great food really a 10/10

Portion sizes were good. However, food took about 35-40 minutes to arrive after ordering. Male restaurant manager was extremely rude to my friends and I when we enquired about the long wait. We politely asked if our order went through, and he replied: "This is a restaurant, not a McDonalds. It is normal to wait 10-15 minutes for food in a restaurant". He was condescending and impatient with us.

A very classy Italian, that immediately stands out. We made reservations there as a large group, which worked well and the dishes were served surprisingly quickly. The service is polite and courteous and the ambience is very classy and serious. The restaurant is quite dark inside and there is little sunlight, but there is also the option of sitting outside if it is warm enough. I took the Risotto Fiorentina (with spinach and tomato sauce) because I've never had a real risotto before and I was very impressed with how it tasted😍. So I had a great first risotto experience there😅 The others were also very happy with their dishes👍. But the restaurant is also quite expensive, you have to be aware of that. I remember a little incident I had in the toilets😅 When I went in I had to free a woman from the cubicle because the inner latch fell off. The poor thing didn't come out for 15 minutes🙈 But I think the problem should have been fixed by now😅 But despite this incident, it's definitely a great restaurant and guaranteed very high quality food👍

Recently visited. I must say, the experience was exceptional. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Even the crust was a highlight. It was perfectly crunchy on the outside while being soft and melting like butter on the inside. Despite visiting during a peak period, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and managed to serve us very quickly. Grazie!

Decent pizza, but it upset our stomachs a bit. The olives on the pizza actually don't deserve the name. It's better to use a better, non-dry product and pay a euro more for it. Tip: Less yeast in the dough and longer fermentation times.

This restaurant did not meet the high expectations suggested by the local hotels. The authenticity of the numerous positive reviews is questionable. The lunch offered was unsatisfactory, and the service was decidedly below par
