On Mother's Day, I went out for pizza with my two adult sons. After an hour and a half, I'd already eaten my salad, but my son still hadn't gotten his pizza, so we left. The service was truly abysmal. We had to ask if we could get a menu...

Me and my girlfriend wanted to have a nice apero, but when we came there they said that all the places outside were for reservation only. However, a lot of tables were empty outside. They placed us kind of inside under the tent and next to the open window, but it was like sauna. We asked if we can seat at the empty table for 4 outside in the shadow, but they said no, that This is only for 4-5 people and they places us at the table in full sun. In the same time, we saw two women going from inside and sitting on the same exactly table where we wanted to seat and nobody from the service said anything. So we went to another empty table outside that was in the shadow. The old guy came to us and directly started shouting at me, without even trying to listen, while I was calmly explaining him that we would like to sit in the shadow and that the other people just take place outside by themselves. At the end, we just stand up and left, as this is an unacceptable behavior from the service. Overall, very rude service, would not recommend this place.

We waited 50 minutes for an order, even though there was no rush... Incredible. Order: 2 pasta, 1 pizza... Instead of apologizing, the staff who looked after us made a nonsensical explanation...!

I was recently in this restaurant and would like to give high praise especially to the service! The employee was exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional. You can immediately tell that he cares about the satisfaction of his guests. The food was outstanding, but Rayan's service made the visit extra special. Went to L’Osteria this evening – and absolutely loved it! As soon as we were seated, the waiter came to the table with a friendly smile and took our order straight away. The drinks arrived in no time, the food came surprisingly quickly and was really tasty. Everything went smoothly and with genuine warmth. A big thank you to Ryan for the great service – we felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Having visited the L'Osteria branches in the Hague and Hamburg, the branch at Konstanz is the absolute worst. Waiter was very unfriendly. We had to wait almost an hour for 2 pasta dishes which usually took 10 minutes at other branches. When asked to check on the update of the dish, the waiter replied angrily and rude without making eye contact that he "already checked". After a while he explained that it was because they only had 1 person making pasta. The orechiette was good but finger smudges were everywhere on the plate. The carbonara was very disappointing. The spaghetti was hard and there was barely any bacon pieces compared to the other carbonara we tried at the other losteria branches. Very disappointed.

Lots of staff but no service. Pizza was there before the drinks, and you don't get a glass of water with your coffee, even if you asked. No, you should buy mineral water.

Actually 5 stars, but something was missing in 2/2 orders; Last time we ordered the Togo, the tiramisu was missing (we had to go 20km back to pick it up at our own expense), but today the sauce was unfortunately forgotten with the salad. The lady on the phone was very understanding, but unfortunately she couldn't do anything. So I would advise the kitchen to pay attention again and those ordering to check. Otherwise, the food is delicious, the service is nice, and the atmosphere is also cozy.

As usual, L’Osteria once again impressed with their very tasty pizza. We were particularly impressed by the stylish ambience and the beautiful view of the Rhine. The parking situation is also very relaxed. If you can't find a parking space on site, there is a parking garage directly opposite. The only point of criticism was the Moscow Mule, which unfortunately didn't taste convincing at all. Apart from that, everything was a success and we would be happy to come back when the opportunity arises.

We were waiting at the entrance today, when we got there an older gentleman with a foreign accent asked us if we had reserved, which we said no. He then asked the people behind us if they had a reservation and they said no. Nevertheless, he asked the people behind us to follow him. It's not possible to prefer other people even though others were there before. I will never go there again.Very bad service.

The food was OK. The service was so-so... unfortunately we had to wait a relatively long time until the drinks were taken. However, the food itself came relatively quickly after intake! Unfortunately, in the end we had the feeling that a good rating was desired no matter what and we felt “forced” to scan the QR code for the rating. It was more about processing the guests than looking after them. Therefore only 3 stars.

Surprisingly the quality of food was different to their other food chains. Taste was Average and was served almost cold. The atmosphere is very nice though, especially with a lake view. Service was below Average too.

On May 1st, 2025 I wanted to eat at Losteria with friends. At 7pm we sat at our table and waited 20 minutes before we could order. We waited 1.5 hours for our food and asked the waiter several times when our food would arrive. The waiter was rude and always said that it would come in about 5 minutes. It was now 8:35 p.m. and we wanted to get up because our food still hadn't arrived. We wanted to cancel the meal and were treated unkindly again. Despite everything, we had to pay for our salad and drinks ourselves! There was no apology or accommodation, such as drinks being on the house. In addition, other guests who came after us even got their food earlier than we did. A family that was sitting at the table at the same time as us ate their food, played a few rounds of UNO, paid and got up!

May 1st, 2025 I was at your restaurant with two colleagues, we placed our order at around 7 p.m. and waited almost 1.5 hours. There was also a long discussion because we wanted to go, because we had to go further. And in return we weren't even really listened to and we had to pay for drinks and salad ourselves. And it's important to mention that during the time we were waiting for the food, other people had already finished the food and even played several rounds of Uno. Plus paid and left the store!

OMG worst restaurant ever, we waited 1 hour for our food, it came COLD, the pasta was hard it got stuck in my son's throat. Then vomited straight away. Never again

Unfortunately disappointing – not recommended We were with a group at L’Osteria on Reichenaustraße in Konstanz and unfortunately our visit was anything but pleasant. First of all, we had to wait over 90 minutes for our food - far too long, especially when you're hungry. The food didn't even come at the same time, but rather in pieces, so that some of us were already finished before others even had anything on the table. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, was stressed and unfortunately also very unfriendly. Questions or requests were only answered reluctantly. In the end it took forever before we could pay and when we asked for the receipt it was shown reluctantly or not at all. Overall, a disappointing experience that should be avoided in this form - especially given the high prices.

Nice restaurant with a nice terrace overlooking Lake Constance 😍. Huge pizza that was very tasty, but the base was too thin for my taste. Everyone likes it differently. What I really liked was that our older son received a coloring menu and the service brought us a high chair for our baby without asking. 👍

I ate at L’Osteria today and absolutely loved it! The food was excellent - the pizzas are huge, freshly topped and an absolute highlight in terms of taste. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service provided by Bilal. He was incredibly attentive, friendly and made sure we felt completely comfortable. I was there with friends around 5:30 p.m. and it was already very, very full. Ambience is very dark. You feel very overwhelmed when you come in. Service is A1 with stars. They are very friendly and prompt with the order. The food is good and a lot... Overall it was nice, but I wouldn't go there again. You have no privacy because you sit so close to the neighboring table and it's very loud so you can't have a proper conversation. You literally have to scream at each other.

My visit to Losteria Konstanz on Easter Saturday was an absolute disaster. As soon as you entered, you didn't feel like you were in a restaurant, but rather like you were at a bad train station - real train station flair! The behavior of the (presumably) managing director was particularly shocking: obese and with the demeanor of a slave driver. He ran aggressively through the restaurant, shouted at his employees in front of all the guests and ordered them around disrespectfully. The atmosphere was extremely stressful - almost as if one were involuntarily witnessing public bullying. Hospitality? None. Instead, there was an oppressive atmosphere that spoiled the entire stay. Our waiter Refet put the crown on this sad spectacle: rude, disrespectful, bad manners. This kind of behavior towards guests and employees is not acceptable at all. A place where bad moods and stress reign - I definitely won't be coming back and I really can't recommend this "restaurant" to anyone.

My wife and I wanted to spend an afternoon in this restaurant in Konstanz today. Unfortunately, after the starter and the pizza and spaghetti we ordered, we were no longer served a main course! When asked, this was forgotten and we waited for an hour without anyone taking care of it. Finally, we had to take the dishes with us in the box because we didn't have any more time due to an appointment. The service is school grade 6.-set-. As we were leaving, 2 employees called after us...-We have the best service- Keep it up...great "Double Like"

I've never seen such a big L'Osteria. It was correspondingly loud inside, but we were lucky enough to sit on the covered and heated terrace. The service staff were nice, but sometimes really overwhelmed because there weren't enough people for too many tables. The food was ok, although the pasta was a little firmer than al dente. By the way, I'm still waiting for my heart points in the app, even though the waiter scanned my card and I was skeptical as to whether it worked.

Aufgrund einer sehr guten Erfahrung bei der L’Osteria in Dortmund vor ca. einem Jahr haben wir uns in Konstanz wieder für ein Restaurant dieser Gruppe entschieden. Wir hatten nicht reserviert da gerade erst angereist. Schnell wurde ein Tisch für 4 Personen gefunden den wir gerne genommen haben. Nach 2 Minuten war klar, das es im Innenbereich aufgrund der lauten Musikbeschallung und der damit angehobenen Gesprächslautstärke nicht akzeptabel ist und wir sind aufgestanden und haben uns um einen Platz im überdachten Aussenbereich bemüht. Erst hieß es das bald ein Tisch im Aussenbereich frei wird, nach Auskunft des Kellners der dort zuständig war, gab es jede Menge freie Tische. Also gut, etwas kühler, dafür in angenehmer Lautstärke. Wir wurde bald bedient und konnten unsere Bestellung aufgeben. Zwischenzeitlich konnten wir beobachten das von den Kellnern verzweifelt versucht wurde bestelltes Essen a den Tischen abzuliefern, das aber sehr oft nicht klappte weil das Essen nicht zum Tisch - zur Bestellung passte. Das ist während unserer Wartezeit mindestens 10 x passiert. Offensichtlich waren dem Servicepersonal die Nummern der Tische nicht bekannt. Ein hektisches hin und her. Es dauerte ca. 1Std. bis das Essen kam. Bei und allen vieren war das Essen kalt = nicht mehr ganz warm, nicht lauwarm sonder kalt. 3 x Pizza = die Teller waren etwas wärmer als die kalte Pizza darauf. Es müssen also schon in der Küche kalte Pizzen die Ausgabe verlassen haben. Die Pasta waren kalt, der Teller auch. Meine Pizza war viel zu dick mit Käse beschichtet und auch nicht durchgebacken. Dick, fettig, halb roh und kalt. Getränke nachbestellt - 3 Personen haben noch ein Getränk das vor ihnen steht, ein Bier wird nachgeliefert… wer bekommt das Bier ? Es war offensichtlich, das viele Gäste von diesem Chaos genervt waren. Das Personal war wirklich bemüht, aber ahnungslos und insgesamt führungslos. Nicht jeder, der einen Teller gerade halten kann, ist eine Servicekraft ! Selten bin ich so schlecht bewirtet worden. Warum habe ich nicht gleich vor Ort gesagt was nicht passt ? Weil man nach 6 Std Autofahrt müde ist, hungrig und durstig ist und nach 1 Std. Wartezeit auf das Essen keine Lust mehr auf Diskutieren hat. Wir wollten da nur noch raus.

Today at Easter the boss was there in person and wished everyone present a happy Easter. That was a nice gesture, but it couldn't make up for a few downsides. First of all, unfortunately some of the cutlery was dirty - the waiter had brought it especially for us. This can happen and happens to the best of them. When we asked, we immediately received something new with an apology. Unfortunately, the Pizza Bó we ordered was delivered, contrary to what was requested, on one plate and not shared on two plates for two people. That was ok too. But the quality of the Pizza Bò, also known as Calzone, was far worse than usual. This time it had a lot less filling because it didn't even reach the edge and we sometimes only had dry dough left. Additionally, this dough didn't seem to have risen long enough - the Pizza Bó was flat and not fluffy at all. To us it almost seemed as if the filling and time had been saved in the wrong place and the dough hadn't been allowed to rise long enough. Positive: the BBQ pizza was very tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection and our waiter was very friendly. I can also recommend the L'Osteria Iced Tea Zero. Maybe the kitchen and service staff just didn't have a good day today. We were still a little disappointed because we have always been satisfied so far.

Wonderfully located, as always good food and very nice service. However, the boss is absolutely impossible and totally unfriendly and impossible. Given his behavior, he is at best suitable as a slave driver in a column of pushers. It has absolutely no place in the restaurant industry. How can you shout cholerically at your team in a fully occupied restaurant and demand things from them in a completely unqualified way that no one needs at the moment? Nachdem L'Osteria Konstanz meine Rezession bei Google ohne weiteren Kommentar absolut unbegründet wegen angeblicher Diffamierung sperren ließ, hier eben nochmals über eine seriöse Plattform die hoffentlich nicht sofort einknickt, sobald die Wahrheit geschrieben wird ! Waren hier mit Kollegen zum Mittagessen. Das Restaurant war anders als die uns bereits bekannten Niederlassungen auch nicht so schön eingerichtet wie diese. Die Parkplätze vor Ort sind sehr begrenzt, sodass man das teure Parkhaus des auf der ggü. liegenden Einkaufscenters nutzen muss. Obwohl das Personal bei dem recht überschaubaren Gästeaufkommen zahlreich vertreten war, schien uns dieses trotzdem überfordert zu sein. So wurde z.B. über eine Stunde hinweg nicht gefragt, ob noch Getränke gebracht werden sollten, oder ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wenn man etwas wollte, lief die Bedienung sogar an einem vorbei ! Meine Pizza Procutto Crudo war bereits nach einer gefühlten Minute kalt (hatte ich so auch noch nie...) und die meines Kollegen war für eine Pizza Procutto nur sehr dünn mit Schinken belegt. Schade - haben von L'Osteria erfahrungsgemäß mehr erwartet und die Wiederholungsgefahr in Konstanz, spätestens nach der Aktion ist ausgeschlossen.

It seemed like the food had been sitting for a long time (we waited a full hour after ordering). The service was also completely overwhelmed that evening. Every minute - and that's not an exaggeration - we could see food being brought to the wrong tables or left for minutes before a rushed waiter took it away again. Paying took over 30 minutes, despite repeated requests. In addition, according to a trained chef in our group, one of the pizzas was not cooked through. My caprese was extremely sparsely topped - which was particularly noticeable given the size of the pizza. Maybe the staff was new or simply overwhelmed by the high volume of people. But unfortunately it didn't look like a well-organized restaurant management that evening.

What a disappointment! We and others had to wait forever for our pizza. Then the wrong one came but because we were so hungry we ate it anyway. The quality was lousy. Dough not cooked through, hardly any toppings. The employees were hopelessly overwhelmed. Maybe a beer again in the summer. The location is nice. I would strongly advise against eating it.

Tuvimos la experiencia gastronómica más fabulosa aquí! La ubicación es maravillosa, justo en el río, sentado en la terraza, disfrutando de la puesta de sol. La comida era excelente, las pizzas son perfectas, enorme en área, pero perfectamente delgada, y por lo tanto la cantidad justa de comida. No se deje llevar por su tamaño de ropa, son maravillosos, y justo para una comida normal! Pero para nosotros, lo más destacado de la noche, y lo que llevó a este lugar de muy bueno a excelente, fue la camarera Greta! Ella es uno de esos hallazgos raros, muy atento, no intrusivo, parlanchín (no demasiado) , con un gran sentido del humor! Ella realmente me animó a practicar mi alemán de 30 años! Mis dos hijas la amaban, y ella realmente elevó la experiencia gastronómica! Habiendo sido camarero yo mismo estoy en un país, sé lo difícil que es conseguir el equilibrio justo y Greta hizo esto perfectamente. Si estás en Constanza... definitivamente come aquí , no te decepcionará... y si es posible... pregunta por la encantadora, divertida Greta.

We already know the chain from another city and therefore decided to make a reservation in Konstanz. Our personal feeling about our visit on a Sunday between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in January: The background noise is unpleasant as soon as you enter the restaurant and prevents any private conversation at the table. Guests' dogs sit on the benches and are fed there by their owners. In contrast to experiences from various L'Osteria restaurants in another city, drinks and food were served quickly. The tables are far too small for the pizzas being served; they already overlap when they are served, making it impossible to cut them up in a mannerly manner. The knives are blunt and all that remains is to tear the pizza, which is a very messy task due to the lack of space. The pizza itself wasn't fully baked, and the topping had a tendency to spread in all directions due to the unfinished base. Not a pleasant experience in terms of taste. The behavior of the staff was impeccable at all times. We are aware that you are subject to economic constraints and that you cannot be held responsible for the behavior and manners of your guests. Furthermore, you cannot create the flair of sophisticated Italian gastronomy in such rooms. We will refrain from further visits, but we still wish you good luck for the future.

We had dinner on Tuesday afternoon just before 4 p.m. The restaurant was hardly attended. We had to very much. Waited a long time until we were served. We had to wait a good half hour for four drinks - at this point there was only ONE other couple in the restaurant... The meal took 45 minutes (3 pizza Margherita and a salad.... No rocket science). The food was on the counter for a long time before the gentleman decided to bring it to the table. He definitely didn't feel like working. I was about to pick up the food myself. Totally miserable service! I don't understand why the service was so bad - we're not used to L'osteria in other cities.

The food, especially the pizza, was very tasty - nothing to complain about here. Unfortunately, the service from one particular waitress was extremely disappointing. We had to wait around 30 minutes before anyone even took care of us, even though the waitress walked past us several times, preferring to joke with her colleagues instead of serving the guests. Only after asking twice did she finally come to our table. When I politely commented that we had already been waiting half an hour and that it would be desirable to check on the guests more often, she reacted snidely by saying: "I'm your waitress. If you don't like it, you can leave." – a completely unprofessional and unacceptable reaction to guests. During the entire visit she did not take care of serving the food, clearing away the food or taking any further orders. We had to contact other service staff several times in order to be able to pay at all. Even then she waited another 20 minutes until we were already up. When I asked for the managing director, I received a hesitant response - apparently no one was there. Since I wasn't able to clarify my concerns on site, the only way I can go is through this review. The food was convincing - but in this case the service was absolutely unbearable. I really hope that improvements can be made here.

Unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for drinks - that's far too long for drinks. The waiter neither responded nor cared. As always, the food was delicious and the location on the Rhine is great.

Unfortunately, the place was a disappointment. My friends took me here, since they had already been there and it was close to the bus station. However, the service was very bad. We ordered pizza, tomato soup, and risotto. Pizza was brought first and was barely warm. The waiter didn't bring any plates for it even though she said she would. Risotto and tomato soup were brought much later, more than an hour after the order. Risotto came with parmesan on it even though we specifically asked to remove it when we were making an order. Therefore, it took them even more time to make another portion. I feel like the experience would be much better if not the service. The waitress was polite and nice, though. However, it didn't help(

Wir kamen zu zweit ohne Reservierung und haben sofort einen Tisch im sehr vollen Restaurant erhalten. Bis dahin prima. Nach 90 (!) Minuten kam meine lauwarme Pizza, die scheinbar schon etwas stand bis sie serviert wurde. Auf zweimaliges Nachfragen, als ich mit der Pizza fast fertig war, kam dann 20 Minuten später (also 110 Minuten nach Bestellung!) der Salat meiner Frau. Zugegebenermaßen war sogar die Service-Kraft verwundert wo der bleibt. Auch der Salat stand offensichtlich schon etwas, da die Blätter vom Dressing ziemlich durchgeweicht waren. Immerhin ging das Bezahlen dann umso schneller. Es tut mir leid für die Leute im Service, der offensichtlich deutlich unterbesetzt war, aber schlussendlich ist es die Aufgabe des Restaurant-Betreibers, nur soviele Tische zu vergeben, wie man in einem zumutbaren Zeitrahmen bedienen kann. Für eine Pizza und einen Salat war das jedenfalls unzumutbar und eine sehr unschöne Erfahrung. Hätte man von Anfang an offen gesagt wie lange die Wartezeit auf das Essen ist (wie man es am Schluss an anderen Tischen gemacht hat), hätte man zumindest noch die Möglichkeit gehabt sich eine Alternative zu suchen. Die Lage ist übrigens wunderschön.

Otherwise good, my favorite pizzaria for years.

Too much waiting. Arrival at 7 p.m. We were told 20 minute wait to eat. 30 minutes just to order the aperitif. Meal ordered at 8 p.m. and served at 10 p.m.! Borderline rude waitress and cold pizza. Do not recommend at all, unless you have 3 hours to spare.

The food was good when it finally came. The service and the kitchen were totally overwhelmed. It's a large restaurant and on a beautiful, sunny day it was busy. But if a pizza is going to take almost 1 1/2 hours, I at least want to get the drinks quickly. Sometimes that worked and sometimes we had to wait half an hour. But the highlight of the evening was when the waiter who was clearing the table dropped half a pizza on my head from behind and I had leftover pizza everywhere. Including tomato sauce stains on the pants. He did apologize. But I wasn't offered a wet rag to clean my pants, nor anything to compensate me (e.g. free drink or paying for the cleaning). Once and never again L'Osteria in Konstanz. Even if the location is really nice.

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food and ended up sitting in the restaurant for 2 hours. Food was ok, nothing special - pizza dry. Wouldn't come again.

The food is good and the portions are huge, as is usual in this chain's stores. The waitresses were all friendly and tried hard, but unfortunately either the coordination with the kitchen doesn't seem to work properly or the latter is simply too small. In any case, we had to wait over an hour for our food (and it seemed to be similar at the neighboring tables). We would like to come back but only at off-peak times. To save our honor, we have to say that after we ordered the bill four times, we were not charged for a dish.

If we consider it as a pizzeria, then 3+. As a restaurant, it falls short, neither in cuisine nor in service. Waiting for the first dish is about 30 minutes. In my opinion, there is an excess of flavor enhancers and other chef’s tricks in the dishes. The specialty of the establishment is a large 45 centimeter pizza, which does not fit on a plate, but its filling leaves much to be desired. On a plate of appetizers, preservation predominates. Stopping in for a bite to eat is quite weak for a serious gastronomic event.

A wonderful restaurant, very friendly service, and delicious food. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

Our waitress, his name is Ryan, was extremely friendly, courteous and competent. Even though the restaurant was busy, Ryan seemed relaxed and was very attentive. Great value for money! The food was very good and the portions were generous. I was particularly excited about the option of choosing a pizza with two different toppings – simply brilliant! The only negative point: the parking spaces were unfortunately a bit tight.

Delicious food and drink and the service is great.

The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine promenade. Since I know the restaurant chain and the dishes and drinks on offer, I don't want to rate them here because they taste the same all over Germany. The staff makes the difference. Many thanks to Anna for the good care. The toilets in the basement are probably shared by three adjacent restaurants. You should be more careful here. The condition at the time of our visit was not as it should be.

The food is very tasty and the pizzas are huge. Maybe you should get bigger plates there ;-) We were there on Friday evening and it was extremely busy. It would make sense to reserve in advance. But you just have to like the hustle and bustle...

Unfortunately totally disappointed. I've known the Losteria store for a long time, but it was my first time in Konstanz to eat something there. Bruschetta totally burnt and hardly any taste. Food was significantly more expensive than in other cities and the portions were smaller. The waiter's excuse was that we are under a lot of stress. Was there at 2pm on a weekday. There were three of them working in the service department and there was hardly anything going on for me. The glasses and cutlery were not polished and just looked stained and unclean. Well, I won't eat there anymore. You can get a pretty good idea! Have fun ;)

In itself a great restaurant and very good food, the pizzas are huge and very tasty. I was eating with 3 friends, two of us got their food 20 minutes before the other two. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy our meal together. We completely understand if the shop is full and it takes a little longer, but bringing the food to two people at the table 20 minutes before the others is outrageous...

So the food was delicious as usual, the pizza was great. The service was friendly and the table was big enough for pizza. There are other L'Osterias where this causes problems. The prices, especially for drinks, have now gone up. That costs the fifth star.
