Wir wollten im leeren Außenbereich nur etwas trinken, das durften wir nicht. Wir wurden weggeschickt. Im Restaurant war auch nicht viel los. Schon traurig, dass es ein Restaurant nicht nötig hat Kunden zu bedienen, die nur etwas trinken möchten

Das Interieur sieht schön aus, aber die Sitze sind so unbequem, dass man froh ist, wenn man endlich gehen kann. Der Designer scheint ein Faible für 90-Grad-Winkel zu haben. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Speisekarte bietet so viele Gerichte, dass man sie kaum lesen, verstehen oder sich vorstellen kann. Eine wöchentliche Auswahl der besten Kombinationen wäre wünschenswert. Die Präsentation der Speisen ist ebenfalls sehr ansprechend.

Ich habe schon viele vietnamesische Restaurants ausprobiert, aber dieses Restaurant hat wirklich den echten vietnamesischen Geschmack. Das Essen war sehr authentisch und lecker. Außerdem war der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Sehr empfehlenswert! Leckeres Essen- sehr authentisch wie in Vietnam. Dazu eine große Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten sowie Fleischgerichten. Auch der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!

Also dass muss ich wirklich mal sagen: ich bin unglaublich dankbar, dass es diesen Laden gibt. Wir haben in der MVV eine tolle Kantine, aber hier ist man umgeben ebenso von einem schönen Ambiente. DasPersonal ultra nett und das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker. Hatte schon fast alle Speisen durchprobiert. Schmeckt alles wunderbar. Bin froh, dass es diesen Laden gibt und freue mich auf jeden Mittwochbesuch 😀 Preisleistung ist auch Top, obwohl… dürfte gerne teurer sein weil es so gut ist. Kommen sogar zwischendurch extra aus Bad Dürkheim vorbei um dort lecker speisen zu gehen. 🙂

Sommerrollen waren gut, die bestellte Erdnusssoße gleicht eher einer Paste ohne Geschmack, das Dessert (Nr.84 Banh Khoai Mon) für 6,90 € war undefinierbar, 1 kleines Röllchen, vom Geschmack her eine 2,5 von 5 und den Preis nicht wert. Die Wantan waren für den Preis zu klein und wenig und die Angestellten sehr unfreundlich und ungeduldig, teilweise angeschrien.

Wir sind mit meinem Mann hier an Valentinstag Essen gegangen und haben es wirklich genossen. Wir waren schon bei vielen Vietnamesen, aber dieser gehört ab jetzt zu einem unserer Favoriten. Das Essen kommt sehr heiß an den Tisch und schmeckt wirklich sehr lecker und authentisch und die Preise sind wirklich super, wenn man die Mengen bedenkt, die man bekommt. Wir hatten knusprige Ente mit Reis und Chili sowie Reisnudeln mit Erdnusssauce und Hähnchen genommen sowie Hähnchenspieße als Vorspeise. Alles war sehr lecker, mein Mann war absolut begeistert von seinem Ente Gericht, was ihn etwas an Pho erinnerte. Können das Restaurant nur empfehlen, auch das Ambiente mit Wasserplätschern und den Laternen wirklich sehr schön!

Riesige Auswahl an vietnamesischen Speisen, für jeden was dabei egal ob Gemüse, Fisch oder Fleisch. Wir haben uns für gebratene Reisnudel und Curry entschieden und das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Richtig süßes vietnamesisches Lokal. Das Essen war einfach ein Traum und der Service perfekt. Die Auswahl die geboten wird übertrifft einfach die Erwartungen und man weiß gar nicht, was man essen soll - ich hätte gern die ganze Karte verdrückt. Wenn wir wieder Urlaub in Mannheim machen, werden wir auf jeden Fall nochmal vorbeikommen.

Die Vorspeisen waren gut, besonders die Dumplings. Ich hatte noch dazu eine kleine Pho die auch lecker war. Der Service ist leider etwas träge, aber nett. Kann man machen.

Service was a little disorganized, but everyone was super friendly and everyone got exactly what they wanted. And the food was truly delicious, with a huge selection (including vegetarian options!)

The best pho in Mannheim! I have eaten it countless times

What can I say? We had a reservation for two around 7 p.m. Our starters arrived after 55 minutes, the main courses about 7 minutes later. They must have messed up the order. To make matters worse, the rice pot was apparently another guest's leftovers; half-empty and cold. That takes away your appetite, even though we were given a new one, of course. Now, we can certainly argue about which mistakes should NEVER be made. But in my opinion, the reaction is important. They apologized, and the service wasn't bad otherwise, but they could have at least included drinks on the house. I probably would have given the guests a €50 voucher or waived the bill entirely. Despite the nice surroundings, it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable, and we certainly won't be coming back.

I'm thrilled! The food was delicious, the seating was comfortable, and the service was super friendly and fast. With the extensive selection, there's something for everyone, whether with or without meat. The homemade lemonades were especially delicious! And the tram connection is a huge plus.

Good food at a fair price, I find the drinks too expensive (3.60€ for 400ml, whether water or cola) but otherwise it is recommendable.

This was our second time there, and we were absolutely thrilled. Huge selection, including vegetarian options, and incredibly delicious. I'll be back often until I've tried the entire menu 😋 The iced teas are also highly recommended. The service was very friendly and attentive. We look forward to our next visit.

I was absolutely thrilled with Viet Village in Mannheim. The food was simply fantastic – super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and authentically Vietnamese. I especially recommend the summer rolls! The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant, and what made the visit perfect: the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. I'll definitely be back!

Incredibly delicious food in a sweet atmosphere and fast service. I have visited many Vietnamese restaurants in Mannheim and this is by far the best. After three visits I still have nothing to complain about. Particularly noteworthy are the large selection of homemade non-alcoholic drinks and the extensive vegetarian and vegan menu. There is something for everyone here.

Kind of a shame. You seem to be making an effort, but it really has nothing to do with Vietnamese or Asian cuisine in general. Is this what the Germans demand? It doesn't have to be 100% authentic, but the smells and tastes should be a little reminiscent of Vietnam and Southeast Asia. And let's be honest, as Vietnamese you wouldn't eat the food you serve yourself.

Great traditional Vietnamese food with plenty of vegetarian options. My favorites are Bun Bo Nam Bo, Aubergine salad, vegetarian Cha gio! The owner and staff are the friendliest & sweetest people. The place is clean and you can see that they put so much effort and work into the decoration as well. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Also dog friendly!

Not sure why everyone rates it so high. The food is not very good quality. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants in the US and the Pho wasn't as good. Chicken with veggies was also overfried and not great.

Great appetisers, overall tasty vietnamese dishes, even with good and plenty options for vegetarian/vegan diet. You will get a good value for your money, the food is fresh and well prepared. Since there are many options to choose from, groups with different preferences will surely be satisfied. They have quite a few tables, so accomodating bigger groups is also possible. Reservation is no problem, just give them a call. I love the very welcoming atmosphere, the staff is really lovely and attentive, treating their guests with great care. The restaurant is very clean and the decoration is cute, you can feel the efforts made. My friends and I tried many dishes over the years and everything has been delicious, with permanently great quality and reasonable prices. I recommend trying some appetisers, but also their drinks, besides a main course. And their desserts too. Well, just try anything, everything I had here was tasty! Come here if you're looking for some tasty viet food and nice people 🥰 This is a lovely spot in Mannheim.

You take a seat in a pleasant ambience, which is a good mix of upbeat cosiness. The service is on point and friendly. The food makes you travel to Vietnam, with its flavors.

I recently went to this Vietnamese restaurant and really loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I particularly liked the Vietnamese curry – it was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The summer rolls were also fresh and delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality. An all-round successful experience that I would be happy to repeat!

The Viet Village in Mannheim is an excellent dining restaurant. I was in this restaurant twice. Both times the food was excellent. There are also Chinese dishes, but the Vietnamese specialties are much more recommended. These are rich, fresh and completely well prepared. This restaurant gets a big recommendation from me!

Nice restaurant with a great selection of dishes and drinks. We have been here several times and would love to come back. The waiting times are great. There are many gluten free options.

I only noticed afterwards that the Vietnamese coffee contains condensed milk (I'm vegan, it's not on the menu). So far no problem, it can happen. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I went out that I noticed that it had been fully charged (even though I had communicated that unfortunately I couldn't drink it, etc.). Here the restaurant would have had to take it upon themselves or they would have agreed otherwise (e.g. bringing coffee without milk). The food was otherwise delicious. I would have liked more vegetables with the Pho soup. The chilies are very spicy. The waitresses were actually nice. Instead of disposable, reusable swabs would have been good. Overall, I won't come here again.

Had a wonderful first experience trying delicious Vietnamese food here! We received a warm welcome, and great service throughout. Everything we ate tasted really flavoursome and fresh, both the peanut and sweet chilli sauces were amazing with the starters. The crispy duck with noodles was a highlight, plenty of meat and so delicious. Absolutely recommend a visit here and you won't be disappointed! Our waiter even suggested other items for us to try next time and we will be back :)

A visit here is highly recommended! The service is really friendly and warm. You immediately feel welcome. There is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. For the drinks (123. Tra Da and 127. Me Da homemade) the ingredients were mixed into a great combination and made super fresh. The eggplant salad (67.) came to the table quite quickly after ordering and its taste made it an excellent appetizer. The two main courses (71. Tofu Curry Chay and 78. Bun Nem Chay) were also very tasty and impressed with their authentic taste. Plus, the prices are totally reasonable. Little story: It was raining when we wanted to leave and the waiter kindly offered us an umbrella... But it was from a colleague 😂 Thank you for the lovely experience. We'd love to come back!

Apart from the fact that the shop looks so nice, the menu for vegetarians is very nice. I had the vegetarian pho and this warmed me from the inside. Price-performance ratio is really good!

Viet Village is absolutely awesome!!! Every dish is a poem. Mega authentic and super interesting card. The selection of tamarind dishes is also exciting. Be sure to try the homemade drinks too 🥰

i gobbled up the food like there was no tomorrow, i usually play safe and get pho when i go to Vietnamese restaurants but i was in my special/different era so i got chicken with red cocnut curry and im so glad i did, it was so good and filling. the service was very nice and do was the atmosphere

Very nice service (got something to take away at a quarter to 10) but unfortunately the worst duck I've ever eaten. Way too greasy and soggy, not enough sauce and the vegetables had probably been in the warming container for 12 hours.

Price-performance is great for Mannheim! The food is excellent, we especially liked the dish marked as “traditional Vietnamese”! The service is some of the friendliest I have experienced in the city and even challenging situations were handled excellently (We missed each other with a call/return) We've been there twice now, but that definitely wasn't the last time! The guests are ethnically diverse; So it stands to reason that even people who know Vietnamese cuisine very well will be happy here.

This is my third time here with my boyfriend and I can only say good things about the food and the restaurant. The waiters are courteous, the food is freshly prepared and delicious. The decor is very beautiful and striking & the atmosphere is just really great. We definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.
