Von außen unscheinbar, von innen ein Authentisches vietnamesisches Restaurant mit netten Service. Das Bot La Lot ist der Hammer. Jeder der Mal was anderes als vom 0815 Asia Buffet essen will sollte diesem Lokal einen Besuch abstatten😋👍

Nach Nachfrage nach Hühnchenbrustfilet wurden mir die beiden teuersten Gerichte auf der Karte angeboten. Dennoch handelte es sich um Keulenfleisch jeder der auf seine Nährstoffe schaut ist hier somit falsch. Der Geschmack des Essens war gut und die Produkte frisch, allerdings bekommt man normalerweise die doppelte Menge von besseren Fleisch für ein drittel des Preises. Gebratener Reis mit Hähnchen 22€. Wahnsinn. Dann lieber gegenüber zum KFC gehen. Da wird man wenigstens satt.

Das Restaurant ist innen sehr sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam; die Teller wurden sofort abgeräumt, sobald sie fertig waren, sodass es keine unnötigen Wartezeiten gab. Das Essen war wirklich gut und hervorragend zubereitet. Bitte beachten Sie, dass nur Barzahlung und anscheinend auch deutsche Bankkarten akzeptiert werden. Ausländer können also nur bar bezahlen.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider stimmt für mich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. 24 € für eine Pho-Suppe sind aus meiner Sicht völlig überzogen. Ich habe noch nie so viel für eine Pho bezahlt. In Mannheim bekommt man in ebenfalls schön eingerichteten vietnamesischen Restaurants eine vergleichbare Pho für etwa 14 €. Auch die Vorspeisen sind meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu teuer: 10 € für fünf kleine Chicken Wings finde ich ebenfalls nicht angemessen. Schade, denn das Ambiente und der Service haben mir gefallen. Solange die Preise auf diesem Niveau bleiben, war das für mich trotz der schönen Atmosphäre leider der letzte Besuch.

Das Essen im Little Saigon ist einfach gigantisch gut – unglaublich frisch, aromatisch und mit ganz viel Liebe zubereitet. Jeder Bissen schmeckt authentisch und zeigt, wie viel Leidenschaft hier in der Küche steckt. Auch das Ambiente ist super angenehm: gemütlich, einladend und perfekt, um sich einfach wohlzufühlen. Der Service ist extrem freundlich und aufmerksam, man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Für mich definitiv eines der besten Restaurants in Mannheim, wenn man vietnamesische Küche liebt oder einfach richtig gutes Essen genießen möchte.

Gutes, frisches Essen, aber schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das liegt an den kleinen Portionen. Hinweis: Keine Kreditkartenzahlung möglich.

Die Besitzer sind super nett und empfehlen auch Sachen, die nicht explizit auf der Karte sind oder stellen eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte zusammen. Das Essen ist schön angerichtet und jedes Mal sehr lecker.

Neu Entdeckung für uns in Mannheim - das Little Saigon wird aber an dem Standort schon seit 23 Jahren familiengeführt. Sehr gutes Essen, nicht überladen dafür sehr fein. Angenehmes Ambiente, freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich war vor ein paar Wochen mit Arbeitskollegen dort. Das letzte Mal war ich vor knapp 8/9 Jahren hier. Aber nicht weil etwas nicht gepasst hat, sondern das einfach nicht meine Gegend ist und es keine Gelegenheit gab. Aber was soll ich sagen es ist noch immer ein absolut fantastisches Restaurant. Wir haben extra alle unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und jedes einzelne war der absolute Wahnsinn. Little Saigon ist ein absolutes Familienunternehmen. Das spürt und schmeckt man! Die Familie ist super herzlich und wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Meine zwei Kollegen sind nicht aus Mannheim und waren absolut vom Essen begeistert. Ich werde definitiv nochmal mit meiner Familie und vllt auch nochmal mit den Kollegen kommen. ;-) Vielen Dank!

Super leckeres Essen und gute Preise

Von außen würde man es nicht erwarten, aber dieses Restaurant ist wirklich toll! Die Inhaber (Familienbetrieb) waren alle sehr zuvorkommend, der Service war sehr gut und das Essen bombastisch! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein seit jeher Familiengeführtes Restaurant. Toller Service! Leckere Vietnamesische Küche. Hochpreisig aber es lohnt sich. Absolute Empfehlung!

Also das Essen war im großen und Ganzen ganz ok aber ….. 1. mussten wir zu lange warten bis das Essen kam. 2. meiner Meinung nach viel zu teuer das Essen. Für ein Teller Reis mit Ente und Gemüse 27 Euro was ich bei einem anderen Vietnamesen 14 Euro zahle und es sogar besser schmeckt. 8 Euro für ein Glas Eistee Zitrone das voller Eis enthalten war also sry. 3. habe ich nach Chili gefragt, er brachte mir dann bisschen Chili klein geschnitten und hat TATSÄCHLICH 1 Euro für die Chili berechnet das fand ich sehr frech.

Ein ausgezeichnetes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Grandiose Küche, die Geschmacksexplosionen verursacht. Der Service lässt auch keinen Wunsch offen. Ein herzliches familiengeführtes Restauraunt! Unbedingt besuchen und genießen!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, und das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Die Familie sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Beim nächsten Besuch in Mannheim kommen wir wieder ;-)

Völlig überbewertet und viel zu teuer. Ein geschmackloser Ingwertee (falls überhaupt Ingwer enthalten war, dann in homöopathischer Dosis) für 6,50 € ist schon eine Ansage. Die Qualität des Essens würde ich mit 2 von 10 Punkten bewerten – lieblos, langweilig angerichtet und ebenso serviert. Das Ambiente war noch ganz in Ordnung. Der Service wirkte jedoch wenig authentisch. Zahlung war nur per EC möglich, und einen Beleg gab es erst auf Nachfrage. Insgesamt kein Lokal, das man unbedingt besuchen muss.

Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Utopische Preise für Standard Asia-Imbis in einer kleinen Stadt. Würde ich nicht empfehlen.

Einfach alles perfekt! Pure Perfektion

Von außen eher unscheinbar, dafür innen sehr stylisch eingerichtet. Sehr traditionell und authentisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl. Speisen und Getränke kamen zeitnah und waren lecker. Die Portionen ausreichend und die Preise angemessen, aber eher höherpreisig. Mein Rind war super zart und spitzenmößig gewürzt.

Ich war heute im Little Saigon in Mannheim und rundum begeistert. Angefangen bei den superleckeren Getränken – ich hatte eine hausgemachte Maracujaschorle – über die Vorspeisen, die sehr frisch geschmeckt haben und richtig Lust auf mehr gemacht haben, bis hin zum Hauptgang mit Fisch, frischem Gemüse, Auberginen und Reis war alles hervorragend. Auch das Dessert hat den Besuch perfekt abgerundet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist zudem der freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Ich kann jedem einen Besuch im Little Saigon wärmstens ans Herz legen.

Sehr schönes und authentisches Restaurant mit sehr leckerer Kuche. Die Pho Bo Suppe ist ein Gedicht. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt. Die Betreiber sind allesamt sehr nett und sympathisch. Ich gehe da sehr gerne wieder hin und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Familie begrüßt mit ihrer Küche, die Tochter bereitet das Desert selbst zu. Authentische Küche und Gastgeberfreundlichkeit, absolute Empfehlung!

I can hardly remember the last time I had such excellent Asian food. You can immediately taste that everything is freshly cooked and not just a standard menu item. The service is also exceptionally friendly. Five stars are almost not enough!

Be careful, only about 30% of the main dishes on the online menu are actually offered there. Everything I was looking forward to wasn't there. And the pho bo soup was really just so-so compared to khao soi or ramen. The beef in the soup, for example, was very tough and hard. The portions I saw at the other restaurants were also quite modest/small. Drinks at least €4.50 is also quite a statement.

Incredibly delicious dishes. The best Vietnamese restaurant in Mannheim! A cozy, family-friendly atmosphere with excellent service. We always enjoy coming here and always feel welcome.

The appetizer was "Steamed Rice Flour Cakes" (see first picture). I was expecting something different, but it was okay. They serve homemade lemonades, unfortunately without a fancy straw, which makes drinking difficult (especially because of all the ice). The highlight, however, was the crispy duck. Highly recommended, incredibly delicious. The vegetables were freshly prepared. Chopsticks and knives only on request. Price/performance ratio for Mannheim city center was as expected.

I highly recommend Little Saigon Restaurant to everyone. h ate there almost every day for two weeks - and it was a hit every time. No matter when I came, I was warmly welcomed and always found a place without any problems. The owners are super welcoming and surprised me with a new menu every day. Always delicious, always fresh, never boring. You can just tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love. As a gourmet, I always got my money's worth. The menu is also impressive: lots of exciting dishes that make you want to try them out. It's clear to me: If you like to eat well and want to be surprised by culinary delights, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

I ate here today because of the good reviews, I can't recommend it under any circumstances, I think three mini spring rolls for nine euros are absolutely overpriced and the main course was so-so, €22 for a curry with chicken and rice is really very expensive, I think I couldn't eat the meat, it didn't appeal to me, otherwise the taste was okay, but definitely not worth the price. The service was very nice, the atmosphere is simple.

Nice interior design, overall mostly friendly service. However, cuisine cannot replace one ingredient with another. The taste is bland for this price range. Very small vegetarian selection. Huge thick cobweb right next to the dining table in the window unfortunately spoiled our appetite. Card payment only possible for certain cards.

I had the pleasure of visiting little Saigon in Mannheim and all I can say is that it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately gives you the feeling of being part of a large family. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. You feel welcome as a guest from the first second. Vietnamese food is simply delicious! The menu offers a variety of dishes that are freshly prepared and full of flavors. Particularly recommended are the pho soup, the salads and the Vietnamese chicken wings, which impress both in terms of taste and presentation. You can tell that the cooking here is done with love and dedication. Overall, I can recommend Little Saigon to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a family environment. It's the perfect place for a relaxed meal with friends or family. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I don't usually give a review. Since my Asian customers were extremely satisfied, from A to Z (+ tipped 40€), I have to pass on the praise again to the great family business and their original cuisine 👍🏽 That was Big Saigon, not little Saigon. Keep it up and see you next time...

War vor kurzem zum ersten Mal in Mannheim Freunde besuchen.Bei dieser Gelegenheit sind wir ins Little Saigon. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem leckeren ,authentischen Essen. Endlich mal wieder das Gefühl in Vietnam zu sein. Viele Gerichte,die ich von meiner Vietnamreise kenne. Und genau so schmeckt es hier. Dazu noch ein sehr freundlicher Service. Also alles perfekt…muss jetzt wohl öfter Mal nach Mannheim. Ich komme wieder!!

I have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant and I am really disappointed!!!! The food in this Asian restaurant tasted good, but the entire visit was simply unacceptable. We had to wait almost two hours for our food - that's really too long and unacceptable in a restaurant of this type. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in our needs. The sound plays the music after all, and that really wasn't right. You would expect better service and a friendlier demeanor in a restaurant in this price range. A particularly annoying point was that we brought a small cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. We had dropped off this cake at the restaurant and were not told that we were not allowed to do so. This is particularly frustrating since we spent over 400 euros on our meal and also ordered dessert from them. Money doesn't matter to us; we like to spend a lot of money for good service and good food! But that really doesn't work! It's just disappointing that we weren't informed about this and the cake was still accepted. Overall, I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. I prefer to invest my money in a place that takes the value of customer satisfaction seriously. As business people, we know how important it is to treat guests in a respectful and friendly manner, and unfortunately that was not the case here.

Das Essen in diesem asiatischen Restaurant war zwar geschmacklich gut, aber der gesamte Besuch war einfach unakzeptabel. Wir mussten fast zwei Stunden auf unser Essen warten – das ist wirklich viel zu lange und in einem Restaurant dieser Art nicht hinnehmbar. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und schien desinteressiert an unseren Bedürfnissen. Der Ton spielt schließlich die Musik, und das war wirklich nicht in Ordnung. Man erwartet in einem Lokal dieser Preisklasse einen besseren Service und ein freundlicheres Auftreten. Ein besonders ärgerlicher Punkt war, dass wir zum Geburtstag meiner Schwiegermutter einen kleinen Kuchen mitgebracht hatten. Wir hatten diesen Kuchen im Restaurant abgegeben, und es wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass wir das nicht dürften. Das ist besonders frustrierend, da wir über 400 Euro für unser Essen ausgegeben und zusätzlich Dessert bei ihnen bestellt haben. Das Geld spielt für uns keine Rolle; wir geben gerne viel Geld aus für guten Service und gutes Essen! Aber das geht halt echt nicht! Es ist einfach enttäuschend, dass man uns nicht darüber informiert hat und der Kuchen trotzdem angenommen wurde. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant definitiv nicht empfehlen. Ich ziehe es vor, mein Geld in ein Lokal zu investieren, das den Wert der Kundenzufriedenheit ernst nimmt. Als Geschäftsleute wissen wir, wie wichtig ein respektvoller und freundlicher Umgang mit Gästen ist, und hier war das leider nicht der Fall

Today, January 4, 2025, we had dinner with 9 people in Little Saigon and left over 400 euros for a birthday party. We ordered a lot from starters to main courses to dessert including drinks. Since the occasion was a birthday party, we brought a very small birthday cake and chocolate, which the hostess of the birthday announced directly and immediately to the service staff on the day of the reservation. We have never been served so rudely in a restaurant and we will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will never go there again. The one male waiter with the black hair was arguing with my husband and was very rude to my husband and said to him "to make you feel even bigger" in response to my husband's statement that that's not the way to treat customers and that What is not good service is that as a service employee, when he brings the cake to us, he says that you don't normally do that, that you bring a birthday cake as a guest. At the beginning, when the hostess brought the cake, he could have told her directly that a birthday cake brought by himself was not permitted, but the service employee didn't do so. But then I told him that it was her birthday and it was just for this occasion. That's not unusual. We are also talking about a very small mini cake, which is not even worth mentioning considering that and also taking into account that we left €400 including a tip after this interaction with us including dessert which we also ordered. No matter what the customer says, how can you look at the customer so stupidly and have such an unfriendly verbal discussion with the customer? To provide good service you always have to remain friendly. In addition, we waited for the food for over 2 hours, ordered at 6 p.m. and the food was served at 8 p.m. (!!!) and then we were treated so rudely as a guest. We speak from experience. We deal with customers and have a broad, professional and private network. This is not how you as a host treat guests. The customer is always king. We've never experienced anything like this before and we've traveled around a lot. In other restaurants in Mannheim, people even gave dessert on birthday occasions and the birthday cake they brought with them. So you have already lost at least 9 customers. We'll never go here again!!! Unfortunately not recommended. The food itself was okay, but not great and the portions were small. We were still hungry and went out to eat afterwards.

21:15 a Saturday night and they say they don’t take any more clients because the kitchen closes at 21:30… Found another Vietnamese restaurant 2 blocks away that know how to treat clients.

This was one of the best restaurant visits in recent months. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the prices were more than reasonable. But, the best thing was the hosts; you rarely experience such attentive, friendly and open-minded people. We will definitely come back next time we are in Mannheim. We were thrilled!

Super delicious Vietnamese restaurant directly opposite the NH Hotel in Mannheim. The Pho Bo was delicious, fresh and authentically prepared. The cozy furnishings create a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service - you feel very welcome here as a guest. I would definitely like to come back!

This is my must-go stop whenever I am in Mannheim to get my Asian food cravings being far away from home. They serve really great quality food, very authentic and done with high quality ingredients. The ambience is super nice in the evening which can also accommodate large groups. Super spacious and decorated with greens and warm lighting. Do try out their homemade Yuzu drink - might not be on the menu, just ask them!

Every time I'm in Mannheim it's the first restaurant I visit. The family-run business impresses with the friendly way in which we treat customers. The food is just damn delicious 😊 all in all I'm happy to have found this restaurant...even if it was by chance.

There are places that I am inclined not to recommend to prevent them from becoming known too popular and then losing their charm :-). But in this case, I cannot help but recommend it to everybody who wants an authentic Vietnamese food experience. In addition, the service is superb and I am glad to have found such a place in Mannheim. Maybe I would have never moved away if I had known it before...
