Viet Quan in Mannheim

We were here in the evening with a reservation, the restaurant is very comfortably furnished. We were greeted warmly and immediately asked for something to drink. The food came in very generous portion sizes and is absolutely unbeatable at the current price! We also liked the selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Food was okay, but not above average. Prices were a little higher than usual (but only a few €). No card payment possible... and in 2024 in a big city

Food is delicious in itself. In my opinion, beans and Do not add zucchini to the vegetables for the fried noodles. Food should be ordered and the restaurant sometimes smells like a toilet.

We go to this restaurant almost every week for lunch and I think the price-performance ratio is very good and the family that runs the restaurant is also super nice. I highly recommend it.

I order from Viet Quan very often. The food is always delicious and very fresh. If you pick it up yourself it takes a maximum of 20-30 minutes which is absolutely great. Delivery is always very quick. The best baked bananas I've ever eaten. Can only recommend it!

Normally I'm happy with the food, I order from Viet Quan very often but today I got a bit confused. I ordered a papaya salad and had to complain about the first one because there were no papaya strips to be found. A new one was then delivered to me, but without any recognizable pieces of papaya in it... nice that you followed my other request, but I was already looking forward to the fruit in the salad that I had also paid for... There's nothing wrong with the rest of the order, it was very tasty.

The food is average at best, but nothing more. The chicken skewers were very tough and dry, and the sauce didn't help. One of the main courses was okay, the other was rather disappointing. Since you can't give half stars, it was 3 instead of 2.5. The restaurant has to compete with other Vietnamese restaurants that simply do it better. The service was friendly, but limited. I don't expect a red carpet, but there should be a little more presence. Here too, other restaurants often perform better. But what leads to the 2-star rating is the fact that you cannot pay by card and this fact is only communicated via a small note on the door. It cannot be assumed that you will notice this piece of paper when the door is closed and you look at it head on. When the door is open, as in our case, you don't notice it. A note from the waitress or on the table would really be appropriate, because if you have to walk to the nearest ATM after eating and have an extra 6 euros in fees because it's just not the "right" bank, then that's just unsatisfactory. In this situation, the waitress just gave the feeling that it was your own fault. I would have liked a little more subtlety here, so only 2 stars overall. Unfortunately, this first impression means there is no second chance.

Ordered food directly over the phone. Delivery person was super nice, food was very tasty and delivered warm. Favorite Asian in Mannheim at the moment, would order here again at any time.

Yes, it's a shame, we ate on site. Nice service but unfortunately the food was nothing. The starter, standard frozen rolls, were probably wholesale. For the main course, the vegetables and meat were also frozen, so they were mushy or crumbly. The taste was still bland. Maybe more for the delivery service.

Wir haben auf Lieferando bestellt. Anders als häufig beschrieben kam das Essen nach 30 min, obwohl 60 angesetzt waren. Alles war frisch zubereitet und heiß. Geschmacklich gut, aber jetzt nicht außergewöhnlich

Haben das Essen für 10 Personen per Lieferung bestellt. Positiv: Pünktlich geliefert Negativ: Essen gewöhnlich, absolut nichts besonderes. Gebratene Reis Gerichte waren alle sehr trocken.

Ich hole mir öfter was zum Mitnehmen für daheim oder gehe ab und an auch mal vor Ort essen. Als Selbst abholer dauert es meist auch nur 15-20 min. Auch die neue größere Karte gefällt mir sehr gut. Schmeckt alles hervorragend und ist frisch zubereitet! Der Service ist auch immer sehr freundlich. Seit neuestem gibt es auch Sushi, dies hab ich gestern getestet. Sehr schön zubereitet, nur etwas fad.. Hier könnte man noch etwas nachbessern.

Habe jetzt schon mehrfach essen abgeholt und war bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Ist momentan mein „go to“ Asiate. Wenn er so bleibt, werde ich dort regelmäßig essen holen.

Habe mir gerade ein rindfleischgericht abgeholt. Sehr nettes Personal, frische Zutaten, perfekt gegartes Fleisch. Wow einfach nur super lecker.

Sehr leckere Thai-Currys und Salate. Bestellen regelmäßig zur Abholung. Stets zufrieden mit den vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten, viel knackiges und frisches Gemüse und extra Wünsche werden berücksichtigt. Stets freundlich!

Via Lieferando bestellt. Einen Stern gibt es dafür, dass die Lieferung zügig innerhalb von 30 Minuten nach Aufgabe der Bestellung erfolgte. Einen weiteren Stern gibt es für den höflichen Mann vom Lieferservice. Das Essen jedoch verdient keine weiteren Sterne. Die zwei bestellten Gerichte waren zwar heiß, jedoch beide furztrocken und schmeckten nach nichts, sodass wir ein paar Bissen nahmen und den Rest enttäuscht entsorgen. Für insgesamt 30€ inkl. Liefergebühren erwarte ich mir mehr... Leider nie wieder.

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, reicht zum satt werden und sehr leckere, wenn nicht sogar die beste "gelbes Curry"-Soße! Nette kundenorientierte Bedienung! Nur die Plätze vor der Türe auf der Straße sind nicht optimal, aber bei den Räumlichkeiten wohl auch nicht anders zu machen.

Weil wir es eilig hatten, wurde unser Essen zum Mitnehmen extra 10 Minuten schneller zubereitet. Super!

Absolut leckeres Essen und so freundliche Bedienung. Ein Muss im Lindenhof. Es gibt 3 Tische zum Draußensitzen. Wir waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen ist sehr Lecker und genau was das man sich auch vorstellt bei einer asiatische Küche, sehr authentisch! Der Service ist sehr nett. Preis/ Leistung wirklich toll und große Portionen! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, wenn auch leider keine rein veganen Optionen. Essen war lecker und der Service äußerst freundlich und schnell. Gute Preisleitung. Zu sehen sind die 131 und die 139.

Zwei Stunden Lieferzeit! Eine bodenlose Frechheit. Das Essen war zwar gut, aber es war trotzdem das erste und letzte mal, dass ich dort bestellt habe.

Ich liebe das gelbe Curry. Das beste welches ich in den letzten Jahren gegessen habe.

I used to like this place even if the food was not the best but yesterday I had the worst experience with this restaurant. We ordered by lieferando and the given delivery time was 60 minutes.. well.. food came after more than 2 hours!!!! We called 2 times to ask about our order and when we called the first time they said “it will come soon”… that soon turned out to be 45 minutes after that call….
