Viet Quan in Saarbrücken

I've tried a few various options, and they were all good so far. Coconut milk soup is always bomb ( the picture is pretty much a vegan version of tom kha). Pho mix (noodle in tom kha-alike soup) was good but not something so exceptional. Their bun cha is definitely the best. Restaurant is very good looking and organized with clean restrooms. One thing I dislike is the slow service. Takes too long to get my order, and the server will never bring your check until you bug him. But he absolutely is professional and friendly.

I won't say the taste was bad, but the dish is completely different. It is not beef pho. It is very distinct from the picture from the menu.

The food and the sauces that come with various meals are very well seasoned, and the meat, whether duck, chicken or beef, is so incredibly tender and delicious. In one sentence... The food is great! The service staff are very nice and you get a hello with a smile from everyone. I can only warmly recommend everyone to go to Viet Quan for something to eat.

The food here is delightful. Rich and delicious with a variety of dishes. My husband loves the phó here. The service is always great and the server is super, genuinely friendly. The owners/couple (?) that do all the cooking are Vietnamese so that says it all. 😊 The restaurant is very well maintained, always clean, and has a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend Viet Quan. I only regret that I didn't post my review sooner since we've been coming here almost 2 years. Always good!

Food - in this case Dragon Fire - is good, not great, but also cheap. Service staff nice. The location itself is excellent, only the toilets need improvement.

Amazing food and service! Make sure you make a reservation in advance as you might not get a table. Mischay is an amazing guy who is so friendly and does his best to look after you. Went there twice during a 4 day trip.

A family place. Cheerful, kind staff. Good food. Bubble tea is very good. I got number 60 from the menu which is Bun bo Nam Bo. 28.09.23 we got grilled salmon today and it was delicious

One thing first: the food was tasty! However, the term Vietnamese restaurant is misleading for two reasons. On the one hand, it is more of a fast food restaurant (or better snack bar, as you wish) and on the other hand, the food feels like 90% of what you get in other Asian restaurants. Okay, there's pho, but otherwise it's mostly quick Chinese. The ambience could also be improved. My plate had not just one chip but three and overall everything has a bit of a patina. Probably because the kitchen is relatively open. Prices are okay and the staff is very friendly. Conclusion: Food tastes good, you just shouldn't expect real Vietnamese food.

Went there for dinner late at lunch. The Peking soup was served quickly and tasted good too. The No. 21, green curry vegetable, was unfortunately only averagely good, as there were hardly any spices to be found in the food. Even the salt was missing. That's better. The 6 mini rolls are not recommended, they taste like nothing. The restaurant has an open kitchen, which in itself is welcome. However, when we left the restaurant and looked into the kitchen, we noticed that the chef was stirring the wok with a butt in his mouth. If we had seen this when we entered the restaurant, we would have left immediately. That doesn't work at all.

The restaurant has more of a snack bar feel with lots of seating options. Summer rolls weren't worth mentioning, Szechuan-style chicken was delicious, although not sophisticatedly seasoned. Beer very cold, great. In the end, a reasonably priced meal. Service friendly but not very attentive.

We really liked it. The starter, main course and dessert were all delicious. The home-made ginseng schnapps was particularly noteworthy as a unique highlight. The staff were extremely friendly and took the time to chat with us and explain everything to us. We will definitely come back.

Waren schon öfter dort .Qualität hatt schwer nachgelassen .letztens haben wir eine Suppe bestellt .Wurde falsch gemacht. Dann. Ussten wir nochmal warten und dann als wir zuhause angekommen sind war es schon wieder falsch und für ca 15 euro völlig übertrieben

Wir hatten Reserviert und das Personal hat eine Überraschung von meinen Mitarbeitern gekonnt geheim gehalten. Das Essen war super lecker und die Bedienung mehr als nett. Bestes Pho der Welt ! Mein Absolutes lieblings Restaurant! Der Service ist unfassbar freundlich und nimmt sich immer Zeit für einen. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und auch nie überfüllt oder zu laut… einfach zum wohlfühlen. Das Rindfleisch beim Pho zergeht auf der Zunge ich weiß nicht wie aber einfach Phantastisch! Auch bei gebratenen Nudeln sehr Zartes Fleisch ich kann es jedem weiter empfiehlt ! :) Für den Preis bekommt man eine riesige Portion und wird nie enttäuscht:)

Das Viet Quan ist zentral gelegen und hat im vorderen Bereich etwas lautere „Imbissplätze“ direkt bei der Küche und im hinteren Bereich „Restaurantplätze“. Wir waren im hinteren Bereich und mochten die schlichte, aber gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Essen war, was Geschmack und Aussehen betrifft, sehr gut (Sommerrollen Udon-Nudeln, Curry), und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat uns ebenso überzeugt wie der sehr freundliche Service (an diesem Tag war eine Person alleine und es war gut besucht; gerade vor diesem Hintergrund hat alles super geklappt und es kam zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein Gefühl der Hektik auf).

Very disappointing Milk Tea. I love classic Milk Tea and get one in every place I travel, whether it is in Europe or Asia. So of course I had to get one also in Saarbrücken. So what was so bad about it? It had so little tea that you could barely taste it. The taste was more like artificially sweetened milk. You can see in the photo that the color is completely off. At first, I just thought the older gentleman forgot to put it inside, so I asked him, and he said no, he didn't forget. He was correct; the tea was indeed inside, but since such a small amount was used, it was completely overpowered by milk and sugar. I can't judge the food, as I didn't order any.
