A really nice, cozy restaurant with a friendly owner. We ordered pizzas, and I have to say: excellent! Since we felt very comfortable there, we can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

We went out to eat today – I had Cordon Bleu, my colleague a steak. Absolutely top-notch value for money! The food was excellent, fresh, and prepared with love. The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming; you immediately feel welcome. We'll definitely be back!

A very good family-run restaurant. A well-stocked menu, and after several visits, all the dishes can be described as excellent. Whether there were three of us or ten, the service was prompt and extremely courteous. It's nice to have a bright light on the gray street again 👍🏻

Yesterday, four of us went there for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised 🥰. We all had schnitzel: Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and Diavolo. Super tender, tasted absolutely fantastic! The service was very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back 🥰

The place is quite friendly, and the service is attentive. As for the food, we only had the opportunity to try the pizza. It wasn't bad – the toppings are very tasty and they don't skimp on them, but the base could use some refinement. Personally, I'd also update the menu available on Google Maps to avoid misleading customers. (We were tempted by the €8 pizza offer – which is no longer valid...). Nevertheless, the price of €11 for a pizza is manageable.

As always, amazingly delicious food and superb service. Whether it's steak, schnitzel, fish, pasta as a side dish, fries, or even the sauces, everything tastes delicious and is lovingly prepared on the plate. Add to that the friendly service, and you'll feel right at home. ❤️

Authentic, warm, and truly delicious! 🇮🇹 There were three of us there, and each of us was completely thrilled! The Schnitzel Diavolo was beautifully spicy with a spicy paprika and tomato sauce, perfectly seasoned. The pepper schnitzel with spaghetti impressed with its intense sauce and tender meat – a true classic with a twist. The onion steak was wonderfully juicy, lovingly served with braised onions, and served with crispy fried potatoes and bacon – down-to-earth and really well-made. The portions were generous and visually appealing. We would especially like to highlight the super friendly and attentive service – we immediately felt welcome. An all-round successful visit – we'll definitely be back!

Ordered pizza to pick up, very very good, very friendly owner, restaurant very clean and I will eat there again with my loved ones,,the pizza was really good. It was only five minutes to pick up the pizza in the restaurant but I immediately felt at home there.

Hello, we ordered for the first time this week, and the pizza was very, very good👍. This prompted us to try the restaurant today. There were five of us there, and we all had different starters and main courses. First, I have to mention the very polite owners! The service was absolutely fantastic, and the waiters were exceptionally friendly. We felt very comfortable! Now for the food, there's absolutely nothing to complain about there either! ALL the dishes were plentiful and delicious! We will definitely be back and look forward to using the beer garden when the weather improves! Also worth mentioning are the "events" like the schnitzel buffet, steak night, all-you-can-eat pizza and tarte flambée, etc. Prices are pretty much the same as everywhere else; drink prices could be a bit cheaper, but that would be the only "criticism," if you could call it that! Today we had a meal with the family at the Gasthaus Holzhauser for Mother's Day. Pizza was very good, for me the cream schnitzel was the best cream schnitzel I've eaten in a long time. No packets of sauce. Very nice service, especially the boss herself who asks if we like it. We will definitely come back.

New owners, have eaten there twice now. A very warm welcome, the food was delicious. The first time we ate steak, today we ate schnitzel and cordon bleu. Everything was great 👍 From the starter to the salad, the fried potatoes and the meat, as well as the dessert, everything was fresh and simply delicious. The service and the boss are simply nice and accommodating. We'd love to come back. Keep it up 👍 An enrichment for the joy of hunting 😊

Update from 3/29/25: New management, changed menu and what can I say: everything was perfect! We are now regulars again 🥰👍 I can leave the “old” review like this: After the landlord changed at the beginning of the year, we now spent a month in the country and tested 'the new one' extensively: The look of the place has been changed and I like it. The menu has been revised and is generally recommended! Service is also of high quality. My conclusion: The Gasthaus Holzhauser suffered no deterioration compared to before and can continue to be recommended with a clear conscience.

We just picked up some food. The schnitzel was extremely thin, including the gravy. Lightly seasoned, but that's a matter of taste. The Gorgonzola sauce was almost nonexistent. The side dishes were wrong. Instead of croquettes and spaghetti, only fries. Half of my fries were lukewarm and soggy. The other half were really hot. The side salad also had hardly any sauce. Overall, there's still a lot of room for improvement.

We always order on Wednesdays and go pick it up. It doesn't take long and the food always tastes great. The portions are very large, I eat it for 2 days.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Very nice staff, very attentive and the food was also extremely good, even if I "only" had a tuna salad. Gladly again :)

Ate there with over 20 people, every dish was well prepared. We basically ate everything from the menu and everything was served at the same time. We thank everyone for the good food and the good service. We'd love to come back!!

First visit to the previously unknown Holzhauser restaurant. Although the restaurant is simply furnished, you will be impressed by the excellent food and great service. We were a large group who ordered different dishes. Nevertheless, the excellent chef managed to get everyone to start eating together. What is particularly worth mentioning is that this chef introduced himself personally and chatted with his guests in a very informal manner. The service is also good. Our well-being was unobtrusively taken care of. We are all very excited, satisfied and pleased. Price-performance is right. Definitely not our last visit! A really successful evening.

For my taste, it's a really great place... I love the scampi pan or the delicious lard pot, for example. Steaks are always a pleasure too. The service is solid and friendly across the board... I'll always come back here.

Die Lokation ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Essen ist ganz okay aber orientiert sich doch sehr an fertig Produkten, insbesondere was Soßen angeht. Der Service ist aber sehr gut und sehr bemüht dass niemand durstig bleibt. Keine Übernachtung daher kann ich zum Hotel keine Angaben machen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 8 bis 10 Personen zum Essen dort. Die Tische wurden ohne Probleme zusammengestellt und wir konnten gemeinsam gemütlich unsere Zeit dort verbringen. Wir hatten von Pizza bis Steak quer durch die Karte von Vorspeisen bis zum Dessert bestellt und waren alle zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ständig präsent um Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten dort letzte Woche ein leckers Abendessen im Kollegenkreis. Das Essen ist wirklich gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, aufmerksam aber unaufdringlich. Egal ob Fleischliebhaber, Vegetarier oder Menschen, die bestimmte Dinge nicht essen können- alle haben ein gutes Essen gehabt. Daumen hoch!
