Rosenbar in Saarbrücken

Unfortunately disappointing service – not recommended I ordered from the Rosenbar online shop, but the promised delivery date was not met. Questions about my order were impossible because I could only reach the associated restaurant by phone, where my concerns were only relayed verbally. Unfortunately, my email inquiries remained unanswered. The customer service left a lot to be desired and I had the impression that there was little interest in customer concerns. Overall a very disappointing experience - I would strongly advise against ordering here.

Currently there is a big social media and advertising offensive, unfortunately there is little behind it. Vegan antipasti variation consists of the same bread that is already available with aioli, which is already available anyway, a bruschetta and olives. Not very imaginative. The salads (Rosenbar and Fregola) differ marginally. The price of €25 if you also order beef fillet tips is clearly too high for what is on offer. Estimated not 100g of meat, 2 cocktail tomatoes and some leaf lettuce certainly doesn't justify the price. Ambiance at the front was great, at the back it was rather normal with annoyingly bright lighting. Service okay.

This place is always packed when we walk past. This evening was our first time. Love the deco with the ambiance of an old pharmacy. Lots of choices of alcohol and cocktails. Service is super friendly. In the bathroom, there are nicely folded individual hand towels for the guests. They serve some baguette with Tsatziki (very good) as a greeting from the kitchen. We ordered a truffle burger and steak pasta, both delicious but a bit too salty. Overall, a lovely place to spend a nice evening.

I've been to the Rosenbar several times and every single visit has been wonderful. The atmosphere both inside the old pharmacy and outside in the courtyard is great. The service is top and pleasantly relaxed. The portions are reasonable for the prices and everything has always tasted very good!

Beautiful courtyard, also beautifully decorated inside...Hamburger with fries, manageable portion at 16 euros, too expensive, in my opinion, there were burgers for over 20 euros

I can't say anything about the bar as such because I haven't been there yet! But during a visit to Saarbrücken I had delicious nightcaps! Cherry and plum! Awesome, I've rarely had something so delicious! 😃 I immediately googled where you could order the nightcaps! These are produced by the Mosel Distille and can be ordered via the Rosenbar online shop! No sooner said than done! After initially having some problems with the order, everything finally got sorted out thanks to the help of Mr. Bonfiglio! Thank you very much again for that! 👏 The cooperation with the return was also great! 👍 I'll order there again and hope it works out straight away! 🙏

Great service! Very friendly and personable as well as attentive. Unique ambience in the old pharmacy and great outdoor area. Very good value for money, especially for the beef steak! I've been a guest three times so far and all the dishes were perfect. Clear recommendation!

Absolutely beautiful. Food is really quite good too. But you really save money on alcohol. We ordered the Illusionist Gin with Tonic and even though I know the gin, I'm sure it wasn't in the drink. It usually impresses with the fact that it turns purple after mixing it with tonic. It was clear and the gin is actually blue. Was there even gin in the glass? Questions about questions. Furthermore, it is to be expected that the waiters are familiar with the range on offer. We basically had to explain our own booking system to him. Everything is rather suboptimal. Sure it's nice there, but unfortunately the details aren't right at all.

The location is of course unbeatable - a former pharmacy as a bar and then with such a beautifully designed courtyard - that's hard to beat! We have been here many times and are never disappointed. The dishes are all super tasty and beautifully presented, there is a great selection of drinks (sometimes with slightly different drinks beyond Aperol Spritz or Hugo). The service is great - friendly, attentive and creates a good atmosphere. We keep coming back!

Excellent food and cocktails. Extraordinary location in(and behind) an old pharmacy with a pond in the middle. The employees were competent and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

On Saturday we were guests at the Rosenbar in Saarbrücken with friends. It makes a difference to convert a pharmacy into a restaurant. The weather also played along and you sat in the Backyard is simply gorgeous. As a starter we ordered the antipasti platter, which was very tasty. Main course was truffle pasta and steak with fries. Both were very tasty. What was a little annoying was unfortunately a waitress who came across as a bit annoyed. Otherwise, I can only recommend the Rosenbar. The prices were also ok, we paid around €200 with four people. I think that's totally fine 👍🏽

Our last visit to the restaurant was a bit mixed. First we had a table outside right by the pool. Actually a nice location, if the pool hadn't looked pretty murky and unkempt. Well, we weren't there to swim, but it was still unsightly. Secondly, the pigeons in the tree above us objected to our presence and s***ted on some of our fellow guests. Of course the restaurant can't do anything about that, but a pavilion or awning over the tables under the tree would help. We were then given a table inside. It took a very long time until we got our food, and that's why the waitress gave us an extensive greeting from the kitchen (which was also confirmed to us when we asked about the accuracy), which was then taken away from us again 5 minutes later by another waitress, because it was an oversight and it was an order from another table. Since we had already eaten some of it, the fact that it is either thrown away or presented to the actual recipient in a pretty way doesn't exactly speak well for the restaurant. It wasn't our mistake and we would have honored it accordingly when tipping. The food itself, which was ultimately really for us, tasted excellent. But I'll have to think twice about whether it justifies a return visit.

Waited 2 hours for the food. Food was cold and sometimes wrong. The managing director turns around and sends his staff forward to clarify the whole thing. I have no idea how this restaurant got such good reviews.

Were there today with 6 people and 2 small children. Otherwise there were really few guests for a Saturday evening. Nevertheless, unfortunately I had a bad experience there. First of all, the positive: the atmosphere is quite nice. Food quite good. In terms of price, however, it is also in the higher segment, which means that this is of course expected. Beef fillet quite small, could really be a bit more. Other dishes such as burgers and pasta are good in size. Everything really tasted good. We were also lucky enough to be served by a really friendly lady. She did her job really well👍 But now to the negative: Although the restaurant next to us was almost empty from 7 p.m. (except for 2 gentlemen who were eating a salad, a table with 4 young people and two guests drinking cocktails outside), the food really took forever. Maybe the reason why there was so little going on? Really frightening for a Saturday evening. You should think about it. Of course, you shouldn't be surprised if the children get a little louder at the table - after all, it's boring. I would also like to point out again that they were really quite small (one was just 2 years old), but they still had fun and said it loudly from time to time, but actually everything was within reason. Anyone who has children of their own can follow me. And that's exactly where the problem lies. The restaurant is absolutely not recommended for families with children!! The other 7 young male service staff probably felt disturbed by the children. The nice female waitress was then sent ahead to tell us that we should rein in the children more. Apparently guests complained, which is almost unimaginable considering that we were almost alone in the restaurant and the few other guests were even sitting much further back. In my opinion, people here want to be more than they are and can be! Conclusion: Food ok, but not outstanding either. Waiting time catastrophic. Unfriendly for children! We definitely won't be coming back.

Very unfriendly service. Cocktail selection very good. However, if the menu says gin and tonic with lemon and then it comes with cucumber, that's impossible. The drink only tasted like cucumbers!

Great restaurant with a warm atmosphere in a nice environment. Quality dishes at very reasonable prices. I tasted the antipastu & the beef Wagyu with Jack Daniels honey sauce, delicious ! Very good service at the same time and wide choice of wines. I recommand !

So the cocktails and the food are super delicious. However, the piece of fillet could have been a little larger, especially because it was really very good and perfectly fried. The portion of noodles, on the other hand, is quite large. The food came quickly and the service was always attentive and quick, if a bit cold. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and beautiful. As already complained in other reviews, I would have liked to have the salad before the main course and not with it. We would definitely like to come back :)

The restaurant may be good, but the service in the shop is the last!!! When the order was paid, too little was delivered. There was no response to multiple written complaints for weeks. The phone call did not lead to any further processing.

Sehr netter Laden, im hinteren Bereich sitzt man nicht ganz so schön- wirkt etwas wie ein Flur. Service war sehr bemüht. Gute Weine! Essen gut- Preisleistung hat nicht ganz gepasst. Wir würden nochmals hingehen, jedoch mit anderen Erwartungen.

Tolle Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen, große Getränkekarte! Ehemals eine Apotheke - zum Restaurant umgestaltet. Teilweise stehen noch die Schränke und alte Schubladenkommoden von der Apotheke da. Sieht irgendwie süß aus! Die moderne Deko passt trotzdem dazu - und es ist nicht zu viel und nicht kitschig. Tolle Atmosphäre! Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung! Übersichtliche Karte für Vorspeise, Hauptspeisen und Desserts. Das reicht aber völlig, es ist für jeden was dabei. Gefällt mir! Die Getränkekarte ist sehr lang - Riesenauswahl. Alles in einem - super!!!

Das Ambiente ist toll, man fühlt sich wohl, der Sevice ist klasse und total schnell. Das Essen war lecker und auch schnell da. Wir hatten einen perfekten Abend.

Haben Rosenbar auf dem Gourmetmarkt in St.Ingbert kennen gelernt.Im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten einen sehr guten Job gemacht. Nach dieser positiven Überraschung werden wir das Lokal in Saarbrücken besuchen

Nach den vielen guten Bewertungen einen Besuch gewagt. Leider hatten wir keinen guten Tag erwischt. Aber der Reihe nach. Der Tisch wurde online reserviert, was problemlos war. Das Ambiente vor Ort ist sehr schön und außergewöhnlich. Wir bestellten einen Aperitif . Als dieser gebracht wurde, bestellten wir die Vorspeise sowie den Weißwein dazu, also zu der Vorspeise. Zwei Minuten später wurde uns dann der Weißwein gebracht, welchen wir dann wieder zurück geben mussten, mit dem Hinweis, dass wir den Weißwein zur Vorspeise bestellt haben und vor zwei Minuten doch den Aperitif serviert bekamen. Nachdem wir dann den Aperitif nach ca. 10 Minuten getrunken hatten, kam der "Gruß aus der Küche (Baguette und Kräuterquark)" und unmittelbar darauf die Vorspeise. Der Gruß aus der Küche mit dem Aperitif wäre sinnvoller gewesen. Mit der Vorspeise kam auch der Weißwein welcher mit dem Glas offensichtlich in den Kühlschrank gestellt wurde, was aber absolut okay war, denn wegschütten wäre nicht in Ordnung gewesen. Verschwendung gibt es in der Gesellschaft zu genüge. Die Vorspeise, okay, wir bestellten Gambas gebraten in Knoblauch und Kräuter. Leider waren es eher kleine Garnelen, unter Gambas habe ich andere Vorstellung. Die zweite Vorspeise mussten wir leider auch zur "Nachbehandlung" zurück geben, da die "Datteln im Speckmantel", der Speckmantel alles andere als cross war. Diese wurden nochmals nachgebraten. Wenn jetzt der Eindruck entstehen sollte, dass wir nur am nörgeln sind soll sich die Bilder anschauen und sein eigenes Bild darüber machen. Die Hauptspeise war soweit okay, wobei das Fleisch nicht medium war, wie wir es bestellt hatten. Dass der Beilagensalat dann gegen Ende der Hauptspeise dazu serviert wurde passte irgendwie zu dem Abend. Auf die Nachspeise wurde von uns verzichtet, uns genügte der Ablauf des Abends. Zusammenfassung: Ambiente sehr schön, Bedienung freundlich aber das Essen und der Ablauf waren nicht unseres.

Die Rosenbar hat ein einmaliges Ambiente, vom der erhaltenen Inneneinrichtung der ehemaligen Apotheke bis hin zum wunderschönen Innenhof mit Pool. Beim ersten Besuch erwartet man nicht so etwas direkt an einer viel erfahrenen Hauptstraße zu finden. Der Innenhof vermittelt absolutes Urlaubsfeeling. Der Service ist nett und aufmerksam. Beim Thema Essen muss ich differenzieren: das Steak ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und von guter Qualität. Sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Pommes sind gut zubereitet, wenn auch TK Ware verwendet wird. Die vegane Antipasti waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Pasta ist okay, nicht sehr innovativ,da hat mir etwas der Pfiff gefehlt. Der Salat hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt. Die sardische Pasta dabei war gut, die Falaffel staubtrocken und der Wildkräutersalat mit einer geschmacksneutralen Vinigrette angemacht. Auch der Beilagensalatschmeckt einfach nur nach grünem Blatt. Aus dem Salat könnte man wesentlich mehr machen mit einem guten Dressing! Ich kann die Rosenbar aufgrund des einmaligen Ambientes empfehlen, die Gerichte haben mich nicht so sehr überzeugt, außer man bestellt Fleisch.

So ein tolles Plätzchen mitten in der City! Super Service, leckeres Essen und Abkühlung am Pool!

Service und Ambiente sind wirklich top! Schade, dass Tische reserviert werden müssen und Reservierung zeitlich begrenzt ist. Etwas mehr Auswahl beim Essen wäre auch schön, ansonsten aber absolut zu empfehlen. Danke für den tollen Service an diesem Abend!

Super lecker! Das Rumpsteak war saftig und zart. Und erst die Portweinsauce! Auch der Salat war knackig frisch und angenehm gewürzt! Das Ambiente ist auch einzigartig. Empfehlenswert!

Also wo fang ich an. In einer alten Apotheke im Herzen von SB gelegen. Tolles Ambiente, super schöner Innenhof mit Pool. Bedienung schnell, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Essen lecker auf sehr gutem Niveau. Sowohl das Vegetarische, als auch der Burger waren ein Gedicht. Schattig und schön. Ach, wir kommen wieder. (Versucht in Pool zu springen und riskiert ein Hausverbot, bitte 😂!)

Das Restaurant ist sowohl im Innenbereich als im Außenbereich sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Man kann mit allen Karten zahlen, auch mit Kreditkarten. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr gut. (Wir hatten Pasta, Schnitzel und Steak) Was ich noch ganz besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ist, dass der Innenraum klimatsiert ist. Wem es draußen zu warm ist, kann hier drinnen bei angenehmer Temperatur essen. Drinnen gibt es im Sommer zwar nur wenige Tische, diese zu bekommen scheint aber kein Probelm, da trotz brütender Hitze jeder draußen sitzen will.

Geschmackvolle Räumlichkeiten, schönes Ambiente, guter Service, sehr feines Essen, wir waren rundum glücklich und zufrieden. Schön auch, daß die Musik angenehm im Hintergrund bleibt, so daß man sich gut unterhalten kann. Wir werden ganze sicher wieder hier essen oder auch nur mal einen leckeren Wein trinken. Können es jederzeit empfehlen

Eine umfunktionierte alte Apotheke. Sehr schön gestaltet. Service prima. Ich hatte einen Salat, der war leider nicht so gut, es hätte darauf hingewiesen werden müssen, dass mehr als die Hälfte des Tellers mit Fenchel belegt ist. Das war too much. Anderes Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen. Parken ist dort leider nicht möglich, nur teurer Parkplätze im Umkreis, da geht man besser zu Fuß bzw ÖPNV hin.

Anlässlich unseres Jahrestages haben mein Partner und ich die Rosenbar besucht. Wir konnten einen wunderbaren Abend in einzigartigem Ambiente genießen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und professionell, die Weinauswahl perfekt und genau nach unserem Gusto. Wir werden in jedem Fall bald wieder vorbeikommen denn bisher haben wir in Saarbrücken nichts vergleichbares gefunden! Tipp: da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war empfehle ich eine Reservierung.

Man sucht das ganz Besondere und findet es in Saarbrückens Innenstadt. Ausgewählte Speisen und Getränke, aufmerksames Personal und ein einzigartiges Ambiente. Die denkmalgeschützte Rosenapotheke wurde zu einem detailverliebten Restaurant umgebaut und lockt mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof.

Man nehme: eine historische Apotheke in einem denkmalgeschützten Haus mit Innenhof und ein paar ideenreiche Köpfe... und heraus kommt eine Bar/ ein Restaurant mit al fresco dining am pool in einem Ambiente, wie es Saarbrücken bisher nicht kannte. Dazu nehme man ein Konzept, das sowohl den Cocktail Trinkern als auch den Restaurant Besuchern gleichermaßen gerecht wird, frische und hochwertige Zutaten, einen guten Koch, mega freundliches Personal, hervorragende Weine und zivile Preise. All diese Ingredienzen lassen die Gäste einen super angenehmen und beschwingten Abend in traumhafter Kulisse verbringen. Ein "Weiter so" ans gesamte Team!

Sehr schönes Restaurant in einem alten Gebäude mitten in der Stadt! Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Das Essen war super! Wir hatten verschiedene Tapas und einen gut gekühlten Weißwein. Es gibt jedoch auch eine schöne Auswahl an anderen Gerichten, die wir alle noch durchprobieren wollen! Es gibt eine schöne Auswahl an Weinen, Bieren und Cocktails (mit und ohne Alkohol). Das Highlight ist der schöne Innenhof mit Pool (!) und mediterranem Ambiente! Nicht zu glauben, dass man sich hier mitten in der (sonst lauten) Stadt befindet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden die Rosenbar sehr gerne weiterempfehlen!
