Food was good but personal were cold and uninterested in service

Everything's perfect. Great atmosphere, delicious food. I avoid pasta with cream (because it's always too much), but the price, service, and menu are all right.

So-so. Staff wasn't unfriendly, but not particularly nice either. They're friendly to guests because they're guests. The staff got irritated easily and quickly; while serving, they called out three times within 10 seconds to ask who had ordered food XY... Wine was delicious, food was good. Salad was unfortunately sandy. A major language barrier! The waiter didn't understand the problem and, after complaining about the poorly washed, sandy salad, brought a new salad without dressing, with vinegar/oil :-(

Never before have I gotten such a superb lasagna and pork fillet (unfortunately, it wasn't on the main menu) so quickly 👍🏼 Delicious 😋

The pizza was burned and also not good backed… the Shrimps were very salty… the service was acceptable until we returned the plates. We did not get also any discount for the awful pizza…

Despite having a reservation, we waited 20 minutes for a free table. After the starter, we waited an hour for the food. The pizzas arrived upon request, but the pasta with the giant prawn prawns was forgotten. When the pasta finally arrived, it was inedible, and the giant prawn prawns were small worms (see picture). The restaurant was loud, stuffy, and the wine was warm... terrible from start to finish.

I was in Hamburg on business. It seemed simple, with Italian cuisine, but the waitress was from Košice, Mirka, so it was nice to hear Slovak Polish. I don't know the prices. It's the oldest street in Hamburg.

Very friendly staff with good pizzas. It was a bit late and was getting windy so the waitress offered us to move table so we could be less exposed.

Authentic Italian cuisine, incredibly delicious. If I lived here, I'd eat here more often! I had the spaghetti Napoli and absolutely loved it, as did my companion. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the colleagues were having fun, even though it was very busy; hats off to them! Highly recommended :)

Strolling through downtown Hamburg, we found this restaurant on a lively street. It made a good impression on us, we took a look at the menu and decided to stay. The waiter, a friendly Italian, served us with the kindest attention. Our dishes took a while to arrive, but the restaurant was packed. I ordered an assortment of antipasti and a Rossana pizza. Both were a good choice. The antipasti selection was exquisite, starting with the sun-dried tomatoes, moving on to the beans, and ending with the burrata. An explosion of flavors in the mouth.

We were at the restaurant with a group for a bachelorette party this afternoon. The venue is truly beautiful – tastefully decorated, centrally located, with a pleasant atmosphere. The food and drinks were consistently good – fresh, attractively served, and delicious. Unfortunately, our initial impression was significantly dampened by the service. The first server greeted us with an aloof, at times irritated manner. When we politely asked about a dish, we received only a curt, rude reply – neither an explanation nor a recommendation. Even our friendly request for a group photo was met with a curt, "I don't have time" – even though it was clear that the restaurant was not at capacity. This behavior struck us as unprofessional and lacking in service – especially in the context of a festive group that had hoped for a positive, appreciative atmosphere. Fortunately, another waiter took over later on, who more than made up for the disappointing start. He was attentive, communicative, and with his friendly, humorous manner, created exactly the atmosphere at the table we had hoped for for this occasion. A big thank you to him – he saved the afternoon. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains mixed. What remains particularly negative is the unfriendly and dismissive behavior of the first waitress – not just to one person, but to the entire group. Her behavior was particularly unpleasant for the organizers of the bachelorette party, as it had been clearly communicated in advance that this was a special occasion. Under these circumstances, we will not visit the restaurant again.

The pizza tasted like something from the frozen food section at Penny. Not worth the price at all. Maybe the pasta is better, but I noticed that most of the other customers came just for the drinks.

Mouse in the house…. Seen running round after meal was finished. Staff was completely nonplussed and offered no compensation. I personally will never eat there again. Enter at your caution.

My spaghetti with boned scampi was excellent, and the crème brûlée was wonderful. The delicious Lambrusco I treated myself to afterward was a perfect finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and Enzo, Mirka, and Fortunato are perfect hosts.

We visited Ristorante Vincenzo on Deichstraße. It was a very pleasant evening. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the lovely ambiance. The drinks and food were delicious and were brought to our table very quickly by the friendly service team. Thank you very much. Reservations are recommended only by phone.

We were in Hamburg again and had a pizza there. We found the food and the small appetizer very tasty and would be happy to come back again.

It was very loud in the restaurant and there was constant unrest from waiters and guests. There was also a sudden smell of cold cigar smoke as we ate. That was pretty gross. The pizza base wasn't quite to our taste. The edge was too light. The service was ok.

Unfortunately not recommended. At first we got the wrong drinks, but that can happen. Bruschetta was carelessly slapped onto the plate. Venison ragout with pasta: Meat was absolutely tough, more tomato sauce than ragout. Noodles very soft. Carbonara: a lot of hardened protein, not possible in a carbonara. Very creamy and felt like bacon from the supermarket (definitely not guanciale). Service very slow and inattentive despite many waiters. After waiting 20 minutes, I paid directly at the counter inside. The couple at the next table only received a card after about 20 minutes, despite several calls to their attention. Hence my recommendation! There are much better restaurants there.

The two of us were there spontaneously on Saturday evening and got a table without a reservation. Otherwise everything was pre-booked. The tables for 2 people are very close together. You have to like that. But we had nice table neighbors and started talking. The food - we had pizza and cannelloni was served quickly and was very tasty. The service was quick and friendly. I have to deduct one point for the ambience. It was definitely too crowded and too loud for us. Not suitable for a cozy evening, but otherwise recommended.

We got the takeaway pizza, obviously it's not the Neapolitan pizza but it was edible, the only thing I hate is the oregano on the Margherita! Very good hospitality

Awful services, do not go to this restaurant. There's obvious discrimination against people. I just wanted to enjoy my evening and waiters and waitresses in this restaurant straight up ruined my evening with their awful attitudes. Your job is to serve people. Do it right. And the food wasn't even that good. It's average to below average. With these kind of food, I'm baffled by their services. Unbelievable.

This restaurant don't even deserve a star. Extremely rude and unprofessional service from both the waiters and waitresses. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, they blatantly ignored us when we tried to order, even after making direct eye contact multiple times and calling out to get their attention. It was clear they had no intention of doing the bare minimum required in their job. Their dismissive behavior reeked of discrimination and racism. The staff clearly lacked professionalism, and decency. Absolutely disgusting behavior. This place doesn’t deserve your time, or money. Shameful.

My mother wanted some Italian so we found Vincenzo since, it was 5 minutes away. We came in with hungry bellies. Opened the door came in, waitress just stares at us for 10 seconds after I said hello. She was talking to a man sitting down and kept on ignoring us for another 10 seconds. Mind you the restaurant wasn’t even crowded (3 groups maximum). After she was done talking to the man, which took more than about 30 seconds. She asks us to sit at the table in-front of the door which is meant for a large group about (10 seats) Which was weird.(there were multiple 4 seater tables across the restaurant) My mom got suspicious of this rude activity thinking it was racism. I calmed her down and shrugged it off. Waitress asks for drinks we ordered. When we wanted to order or main courses, I held up my hand. Nobody seemed to even look at our direction. There was a waitress at the bar section of the restaurant just starring at us doing nothing ever since we entered. The two waitresses were talking to each other ignoring us while I was raising my hand to order. (made several eye contacts) And then a family of 3 comes in with a dog and every single waitress and waiter comes out and starts greeting them. They were giving each other air kisses, taking the coats off for the kid and the waitresses are petting the dog. We were just watching all the waitresses and waiters that ignored us for minutes greeting this one family. After they settled, the waiter straight up ignored me by walking past not even acknowledging my existence and went to the table behind us to get their order. I attempted one last time to order by saying hello to the waiter. He runs past us not even giving a look and that was it. We packed our stuff and stormed off. As we were leaving the waitress just smiled at my mother in a mocking manner. Never in Germany I have had an unpleasant meal or service. Never have I been ignored no matter if the restaurant was full or empty. I was always greeted with smiles and welcoming employees. This is the worst restaurant I have been in my entire life. Every person in this restaurant was straight up racist. (I read that the restaurant is fully ran by Italian employees)

Maybe we should have booked somewhere else for our lunch?! A clear no. We are absolutely right here. Volume and flavor levels are exactly where they should be. We come in and are immediately served attentively. Even though the store is completely full. Everyone here is still very relaxed. This is due to the good gastro spirit at the location and the great team. The menu is round, the wine selection (for me more for the evening) is fun. The non-alcoholic Peroni was a consensus choice. Yummy. The pasta with truffles could be convincing. The sauce was creamy but not sloppy, the truffle slices were very thick :-). Likewise the classic lasagna. I would have been annoyed not to have visited this great restaurant. A new experience. We'll definitely be back. “Little Italy” in Hamburg Neustadt Süd. Gracie mille. And yes, your espresso macchiato is in my top 3. The only thing missing is the sun.

Very cozy restaurant on Deichstrasse...good food and nice service

Excellent food and for city prices quite affordable. We went during the week so there wasn't much noise but there is little space between the tables so depending on the day there may be noise. Advisable!

I had a very upsetting experience at Ristorante Vincenzo. When I arrived, there were clearly many free tables, and people were sitting inside eating. Despite this, I was refused entry and treated in a discriminatory and unwelcoming manner by the owner or manager. Other guests were allowed in after me, which made it clear this was not about the restaurant being closed. This kind of treatment makes you feel like we are going back to a dark past where such behavior was more common. It was deeply hurtful and unacceptable. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect, fairness, and equality.

A small, lovingly designed pizzeria. Staff nice and attentive. Food is delicious.

What a lucky find. My wife is gluten intolerant and got hungry while exploring Hamburg. We nearly missed this small side street but saw that there are some restaurants half way down and thought we try our luck. The staff at Vincenzo were super nice and confirmed that they have gluten free pasta. My wife had GF pasta with Bolognese sauce and I had "normal" pasta with Gorgonzola sauce. Both dishes were really good. The pizzas on the table beside us looked great as well. They have a Englisch menu as well. Can definitely recommend.

Well located and warm Italian restaurant. The staff makes you feel like you are in a traditional atmosphere and can enjoy solid food!

We ate there with a slightly larger group. The table assigned to us was at the entrance to the toilet and would have been enough for six people in other restaurants. There were almost twice as many people. Accordingly, we also sat at the front sides. I was constantly being brushed against or jostled, including by the staff. There wasn't even a word of apology. When the drinks were served, the glasses were passed rather carelessly across the entire table. The bottle of water I ordered was simply left somewhere without a word. The food was good, that definitely has to be highlighted as a positive. But two dishes were incorrectly assigned to our table and should have actually belonged somewhere else. There were no questions about whether it tasted good or anything like that. Overall, it was also very loud and cramped in the restaurant. Conversing with the people sitting next to you is difficult and tiring. The restaurant is on the ground floor and is therefore generally barrier-free, but if you are a wheelchair user you should save yourself a visit: there are no toilets and certainly not the way there. If at all, you can only expect to be able to get a seat in a wheelchair in the entrance area. The range of dishes is aimed at all target groups and is typically Italian. In addition to meat dishes, vegetarians and vegans will definitely get their money's worth. Overall, the staff is friendly, but not accommodating, despite the obvious overload. There is simply no time for that here. Overall, you simply have to say: In Deichstrasse, a tourist hotspot in the middle of Hamburg, the commercial idea is dominant, and this is also the case in Ristorante Vincenzo.

We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky that evening: we all had a very tasty pizza as a family. A very cozy location with good staff!

The food was good, but not great either. The atmosphere is very Italian - hectic, narrow, loud. 😄 It was a nice evening, but also tiring. I was happy when I could get some fresh air and silence again.

We spent a great evening here with delicious food and good wine. Service staff was friendly, attentive and professional. I filled up like I was with friends.

We just wanted to eat some pasta quickly for lunch. And were pleasantly surprised. I haven't had such delicious spaghetti alglio e oglio in a long time. The shrimp that came with it were cooked to perfection. Attentive and friendly service. Delicious bread with olive oil as a greeting from the kitchen. Everything as it should be.

Based on a recommendation, we finally ate at this Italian restaurant. Very nice service, delicious pizza and a nice weekly menu. My husband liked the pasta with fish and shrimp so much when he tried it on my plate that we ate there again the next day. And because of the rain that started, we had to drink a delicious white wine - very good recommendation! It's a shame that our visit to Hamburg didn't last longer. Gladly again next time.

The noodles were oversalted and undercooked. Some of the wrong food was brought. No parmesan was brought with the pasta. The staff were friendly. The price-performance ratio was not okay.

Very tasty food and fast, nice service.

Of 2 pizzas, one was outstanding (Pizza Buffala) and the other was just mediocre (Pizza Margherita). Salad was good. Ambience is ok there. Due to the slope of the outside area, it is sometimes a bit uncomfortable to sit. Service was a bit cold but nice.

Watered down drinks, pizza had a cake dough like texture with thick crust. Not very tasty besides the very salty ham (which was expected).

Really lovely staff, good food, friendly people. Best service I've received in a long time. I'm not from Hamburg myself, but I would voluntarily drive 8 hours every weekend for this restaurant. The food was brilliantly good and there was even a student discount. Definitely a 10/10 experience.
