Birra nella media, neanche troppo buona, ma la vera chicca è che la cameriera tutta carina che ci aveva accolto, al momento del pagamento, visto che non le ho dato nessuna mancia (non ci avevo neanche fatto caso sinceramente), non mi ha neanche ringraziata, salutata o guardata in faccia. Assolutamente mai più.

Natürlich kein Gourmet-Restaurant, aber eben genau das, was sich der "Touri" unter einem typischen deutschen Brauhaus vorstellt: sehr gutes Bier in guter Auswahl, super Bratkartoffeln, Schnitzel und Beilagensalat in Ordnung, Wirthaus-typisches Ambiente, Bedienung super-freundlich und "fit" - also klare 5* Bewertung (nach internationalen Kriterien).

Great food and drink. We came here for lunch and dinner and enjoyed both. It was lovely weather so the outdoor tables were filled but managed to get a table inside. Some tables are massive so you might end up with another party at the same table but didn’t bother us. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a good German meal in the old town.

Super Service. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Bier war auch lecker, allerdings die Getränkeauswahl für nicht Biertrinker ist etwas mager. Tafelwasser finden wir etwas teuer (4,60€ für 0,5 Liter). Essen fanden wir bürgerlich gut. Schweinebraten war zart und saftig, Sauerkraut gewöhnlich. Die Biersauce war vermutlich aus der Packung aber definitiv gepimt. Semmelknödel mit Pfifferlingen war lecker, Brauhaus entsprechend. Wer Sterneküche erwartet ist hier falsch. Für die touristische Lage ist das preis-Leistung Verhältnis absolut okay.

For a restaurant in the tourist area, it was neither overpriced nor a disappointment in terms of taste. It's good, down-to-earth German home cooking. The home-brewed beer also offers something for all tastes. Only one is not possible, dear brewery team!! I also told the waitress on site; Serving wheat beer in normal beer glasses... I also compared it to the fact that you don't get wine spritzers served in glasses like that. Then the waitress: “We already have it…” So that doesn't work at all and unfortunately that's how you realize that you're in a place other than Europe. the tourist area. The beer is very good, the service is good. The regular food. It's more for tourists. Price somewhat high for the quality. Poor cleaning in the bathrooms.

If youre looking for a local treat, thats the place, amazing regional food and looks, the beer is made in the boilers right next to you and is perfect for the food served, the service was always pleasant

A tavern full of history, in the heart of the Aldstadt and a few meters from the Old Bridge. They attended to us very quickly and without any buts. The menu with typical German cuisine dishes is very extensive and what we tried was very delicious. The beers are all very good, especially Vetter 33, halfway between beer and a liquor.

The food is okay to good, but the beer selection is much more recommended (beer tasting with 5 small glasses of different types). Unfortunately, the restaurant was extremely crowded and there are hardly any small tables for 2 or 3 people, so you might have to sit at the table with others. The prices are a bit exaggerated...

Really good service, even in prime time. We got a tasting board with 4 types of beer for €8.80. They were good! Pleasant surroundings both inside and outside. The food was typical for the area. They have a wide menu. Have had a schnitzel that was better. Delicious salad. Cheap and outstanding.

A typical German brasserie. There's beer, sausages, Schnitzel, and so on. The service was a little slow, but the room was also well filled, which should be taken into account if you go to this brasserie. There were quite a few groups present. The decoration is simple, a good old brasserie from the era. The place is quite big. Their meatloaf is completely different from what we're used to eating, a good discovery. The dish was served in a pan, great concept! It wasn't the best dish I had in Germany (potato, sausage, Schnitzel), but it was good.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm or understand the many good reviews. We had fried potatoes and cheese spaetzle - neither of which impressed us and was rather bland. We've had much better ones in some restaurants. The service was ok. Although the place and the first drinks were given quite quickly, for everything else you had to literally wave to get the waiter's attention. Our conclusion: Unfortunately, we will not come again.

We received excellent care and support. Big congratulations to the team from 08/10/24! The six of us shared a large pan (+ some side dishes) and were very satisfied. Definitely a successful end to a great day. Thank you!

Very rude waiter. One part of the restaurant was full, one waiter pointed us to another room. In that other room, completely empty, another waiter said we could not seat there. We told him that it was his colleague that sent us there, still he refused to seat us and said that the restaurant was full. We were happy to bring our business elsewhere.

Went there to eat (went there because of the great review), found it to be rather mediocre, schnitzel not very fluffy, fried potatoes soft, side salad without any kick. All in all ok, but wouldn't eat there again. Service very friendly and attentive, nice rustic atmosphere and great location

Table wasn't clean enough. (Sticky) had salad with goat's cream cheese. Tasteless overall, you would expect something different from a salad. Daughter had spaetzle. Just as tasteless, schnitzel very dry. Not recommended. Not worth the money. Very unfortunate!!!

The location is very characteristic, typical of a German brewery. The street is very touristy and there is a lot of coming and going. So if you prefer to eat in peace, it is better to sit inside the restaurant. The local beers and typical regional dishes are highly recommended, although I did eat a Bavarian dish. The prices are very reasonable considering that one dish is enough for an entire meal.

Good food but terrible service. The waiter who served me was rude and indisposed. After asking if there was a place, he accompanied us outside, telling us that without a reservation we had to share a table and leaving us lying there. Once we had returned to training, we took a seat and had dinner thanks to other people's reviews since they didn't want to give us advice about the food or any tips. In the end he didn't look at me anymore when he brought me the bill after a good half hour and there being no people in the store. Very rude, he didn't even give me a ticket or the chance to ask for it and he didn't even say goodbye. Negative experience.

This place is just so unique and cool because they don’t just brew their own beer, they also serve it on tap. Vetter in Heidelberg, Germany has lots of different types of beers, that they make or from around, and lots of different types of foods and snacks. Their specialty is the Vetter 33 beer which is so strong that they can only serve it 100 ml at a time. I highly recommend this place if you want to try some German beer and food!

The waiter didn’t really pay attention while we were ordering and as a consequence at first we got a plate that wasn’t correct but he replaced it with the one we ordered. He was always either smoking or scrolling on his phone. Regarding the food was just a disappointment, since the meat was of poor quality and badly cooked.

INCREDIBLY BAD!!!! Attention, stay away, mass processing of tourists. Very, very bad food and completely bored, unmotivated waiters. Totally tough beef like leather. Frankfurt green sauce was white and watery tasteless. Schnitzel on cheek completely pink and breading burnt. Dry and with a very disgusting aftertaste. Fried potatoes soggy that you can mash them with the tip of a knife and everything is completely inappropriately showered with spices.

The site is in the center, next to the bridge that connects to the Poets Walk. Good prices for Germany. The two dishes we ordered were very good, highlighting the pasta. Delicious.

craft brewery with local beers and weizen, I would say good but not exceptional. Tables outside, I recommend going but only to taste the beer. We ordered a dish of baked potatoes at a price of around €9, which I would say is not an exciting value for money. Overall the place is nice, near the bridge.. for a thirst-quenching break. The staff is not particularly helpful and friendly, probably the chaos of Saturday did not help.

Food, ambiance, Service and Beer were absolutely spot on. We saw this place by an accident and the choice of coming in wasn't regretted even one bit. The devil noodle dish and their seasonal beer was surely the highlight!!

Went there spontaneously. And the service you experience there is more than exemplary. A very friendly lady showed us a table straight away. You notice that all the employees there look to the left and right and do many things at the same time. Where else do you experience this in service today? The lady who served us was very friendly! Drinks came within 2 minutes. The food was also simply delicious. We both took the prepared knuckle with cabbage and dumplings. A little more sauce would be nice but we didn't ask. I'm sure you would have gotten something else. So from the outside everything seems very harmonious and I can only recommend this brewery to everyone. Keep it up!

We were there on July 25th. for dinner in the inn, I reserved the table by phone, which definitely makes sense. Very friendly service from a young lady. The food was good and there wasn't really anything to complain about. Price-wise, it's perfectly fine, we would come back.

We ordered two knuckles which unfortunately were completely dried out and were probably only warmed up quickly. Unfortunately, the size of the knuckles still doesn't justify the asking price at all, they were simply too small. The best thing was the bread and the beer which are also absolutely necessary to get the dry meat down. We were looking forward to the meal and were very disappointed. Unfortunately, here you notice the mass tourism at the expense of quality. They didn't accommodate us in terms of price even though I mentioned it!

A very nice place to have a meal and to have a beer. They offer a variety of beers and they serve a variety of typical German dishes. At times it can be a bit loud to have a conversation and you might be seated at a table with other people (which didn’t bother me) since space is limited. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations so you have to be a bit lucky when visiting.

A typical brewery in the beautiful city of Heidelber. It's quite big. You can taste up to 4 different types of beers in long glasses on a piece of wood.

I'll start with the cons. They don’t notice you right away, the waitress passes by several times, you’re not there. Then another service worker finally notices you. It's unpleasant that you stand for a long time at the entrance, and she passes by. Beer arrives quickly, and the main order takes 40 minutes. At the same time, the knuckle was brought cold, they most likely forgot about it... And with garbage in the plate... Under the knuckle was a piece of Tetra Pak packaging... they replaced it with a new one after 10 minutes and forgot the bread to go with it. In the second dish the potatoes are not fresh, they are heated. Pros: close to the bridge, delicious beer. All! I don't recommend eating there

Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with our waiter - first he disappeared, then the newly assigned one was hopelessly overwhelmed. The people at the next table left again when after more than 30 minutes the cellar still didn't come to take the order... we had a little more patience (and made ourselves noticed by others who then brought us drinks) it was worth it - food was also good.

We ate with the travel group. Typical German food: salad, not very big, and pork fillet in sauce with mashed potatoes. The sauce, rich. For dessert, canned fruit salad. But it seems that this is normal in these cases. Good and fast service, friendly

Wanted to try a Pfälzersaumagen in the typical Heidelberg brewery. For 19.80 you can't expect anything more. Dried out bread and an indefinable Saumagen taste. Just leave it and go eat pizza/döner/Asian food. Half price and just as filling. Beer is good, you can drink it. As far as the Saumagen is concerned, not worth the money.
