Restaurant Mai Wok & Grill im Carre in Heidelberg

Sub-par food, ordered Pad Thai w/ steak and it tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. Staff could have been much friendlier, thanked the girl behind the front counter after receiving my food and got an eyebrow raise for acknowledgement - no smile, no thank you back, no eye contact, didn’t even look up. I ordered item #102. Spend your money and eat elsewhere, trust me, your stomach will thank you

The pho bo noodles were stuck in chunks at the bottom of the bowl. I tried to unwrap it with a fork, but it was stuck and it was awful. The soup was bland and ok, but I was disappointed with the lack of bean sprouts. Customer service is also sloppy and makes me feel bad. I'm not going anymore.

A dish was not delivered. After a call we were told it was still coming, but nothing came. Money is gone and food wasn't there...not recommended. The rest of the food tasted good, which is a shame.

The service used to be very unfriendly. When you tell her what sauce you want, she always makes mistakes and then complains to the customer. The amount of sauce is also microscopic every time. You always have to say that you want more (=a normal portion of sauce) The food is really good for the price and the shop is always busy. Edit: !!!!! The ladies have significantly improved their behavior since my last 4 times. There is more sauce, fewer mistakes and more kindness!

4 people (regular customers) haven't been there for a long time and won't be coming back, 3 dishes with meat and vegetables, you can count the vegetables on one hand as well as the meat, very little food for the money and self-service on top of that. It's bordering on that Fraud.

I have been ordering the same dish for many years. It's been a long time since I ordered No. 14 to take away again today and was disappointed at how the price-performance ratio and the quality had changed for the worse. The last time I ordered the sauce was packaged separately. If the sauce was added to the rice noodles at all, then the rice noodles soaked them up completely. The rice noodles were mushy. I didn't really taste the sweetness. The peanuts listed on the menu were completely missing. Coriander just 4 small leaves on the stem. Also not enough cucumber and iceberg lettuce compared to about 10 - 12 months ago. But the Nem tasted good to me as always. And I got enough for the price of €9.90. However, I won't be ordering there again in the foreseeable future. Because if the employees understand my mother tongue German and English more than well, that is unsatisfactory communication for me personally.

It's more of a fast food joint than a restaurant. Prices are okay (€9.90) roasted duck. Drink 2.5€-3€. roasted duck. Taste was okay too. If you have a quick appetite, it's enough during your lunch break, but I can't recommend going out for a fine meal there.

First I had the pasta and chicken the pasta was completely tasteless and the chicken was more rubber coated with cardboard A friend ordered spring rolls and only received 2 mini spring rolls for the price of €5, what a disgrace. Never again. I wouldn't come here again. Another visit is excluded. I won't go here again. I wouldn't stray here even drunk.

5€ for 2 spring rolls, cheeky! I just wanted to eat something small, but not that small... unfortunately the salad was also quite warm, similar to urine. The sauce couldn't be made any better :-(

The vegan spring rolls are thrown into the deep fryer along with the remaining meat. You may or may not find that stupid. But every now and then there is a piece of meat in the vegan box, which is absolutely not possible.

Very unfriendly service, portions have decreased in size, they charge too much money for a little bit and it's just enough to make you throw up the next day, so not recommended

First and last time, you could eat it, but nothing more. For me this is a snack bar, I've eaten much better for less money in many other Asian "real" restaurants. I also don't like the fact that it's similar to a canteen, not a cozy atmosphere. The friendliness is very limited, rather unfriendly and unsympathetic, as if they don't depend on anyone. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Save yourself the disappointment

Good food, good music, good atmosphere and quick preparation!

We ordered food through Lieferando and 15 minutes before our scheduled arrival we received a call that they couldn't deliver. We were asked to cancel the order. Another time I ordered something to pick up, when I arrived the food wasn't even prepared. I can't recommend it at all, completely disorganized.

NEVER AGAIN! Was a regular customer, but what was on offer today was bottom drawer. The portion has literally halved. This is rip-off at its finest.

Food was great, but the Peking soup is only for tongues that are not sensitive to sharpness

Although sushi is offered on the display board, the restaurant has not been willing to make sushi on any visit. The summer rolls are also constantly sold out. The store deliberately only wants to offer prepared products etc.

Absolutely disappointing. Boring broth called Pho Tofu for €9.90 is cheeky. Never again!

Bad food 14€ for drink and rice with duck. Food was as good as cold and almost bordered on a child's portion!

Very unfriendly older employee with glasses. The prices are very high and the food doesn't taste good.

Terrible, new owner. Again after a long time... The duck was dry. Noodles were spaghetti and the sauce was more of a dip. It used to be good, but today it's just bad.

Guter Preis, gutes Essen, nette Mitarbeitende

Essen variiert sehr stark- mal ist es gut, mal fruchtbar. Heute bestellten wir in der Mittagspause einmal die Nummer 46 und einmal 48. ich bekam 6 kleine, panierte Stücke, meine Begleitung 4 kleine, panierte Stücke Hähnchen. Früher (noch vor wenigen Wochen)war das ganz anders. Es wird zudem eine Servicegebühr berechnet, die 2 Euro beträgt, was erst auf Nachfrage ersichtlich wird. Früher waren wir sehr gerne hier, aber fortan werden wir uns einen anderen Asiaten suchen.

It's good if you hungry and on Budjet. We have ordered one Thai gravy chicken(no.51 on Menu) and Chicken Fried rice (No.5). Both taste was good and I am sure if you around In Heidelberg town and it's late evening you should try. Both cost us around 17 Euros.

Völlig geschmacklose Nudeln und die Ente war so trocken,die hatte die Fritteuse 2mal gesehen,man konnte sie nicht essen für über 10€,kein zweites Mal

Dieser Ort ist unglaublich! Von außen sieht es vielleicht nicht nach viel aus, aber das Essen ist exquisit. Das Lokal hat eine sehr gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre, perfekt für ein Treffen mit Freunden, ein Familienessen oder sogar ein Date. Ich würde das Pesto sehr empfehlen, es ist absolut perfekt! Ich möchte dem Chefkoch danken, der jedes Gericht einzigartig und von hoher Qualität macht.

Dieses Nudelrestaurant ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant in der Stadt. Die Nudeln schmecken unwiderstehlich, es gibt viele Sorten und alles ist so günstig! Meine Freunde und ich versuchen, jedes einzelne Nudelgericht zu probieren, das sie anbieten, um sie zu bewerten. Ich werde für den Rest meines Lebens jede Woche hierher kommen. Danke, Chefkoch <3

Die Gerichte sind gleichbleibend gut, manchmal zwar lauwarm, zum günstigen Preis. Gehen öfters hin, wenn wir in der Stadt sind.

Wenn ich ehrlich sein sollte hat das Essen viel besser ausgesehen als es geschmeckt hat. Wir, nach einem langen Tag, hungrig! Das ganze Fleisch und die Frühlingsrollen haben einfach nach tiefgefroren geschmeckt! Der Reis war die reinste Katastrophe, trocken als wäre es „Ein Tag davor vorbereitet.“ Die Toiletten: unsauber, ohne Seife und Tücher. Als wir die Küche auf das Essen angesprochen haben sagte man uns: wir kochen 5x am Tag Reis und es kann nicht sein. Geldverschwendung!

My favourite restaurant. Food is always cheap, fresh, delicious and very HUGE potion. And fast service. In one dish is everything : ris, vegetables and meat. Good for usual, everyday lunch.

Insgesamt ist das Essen gut. Es wird schnell vorbereitet und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Bin zufrieden und komm gerne her, wenn es schnell und unkompliziert gehen soll.

5 sterne nur fur das Pho Bo. Das beste Pho Bo in Heidelberg. Ich komme jede Woche nur fur das Pho Bo, so lecker...

Schafft euch ein Kartenlesegerät an

bei diesem Restaurant ist endlich mal mehr Fleisch bei den Portionen dabei. Allerdings ist das Fleisch teilweise sehr trocken und bei der Box 7 (süß-sauer) ist viel zu viel Ingwer drin und generell wird an der Soße gespart. Aber ansonsten passt alles und das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Unser Praxis liegt gegenüber der Pizzeria . Wir essen die italienischen Gerichte sehr gerne und sind schon öft da !
