Flammkuchenhof in Heidelberg

My first experience with all you can eat flammkuchen. So many varieties to choose from and each one of them is equally delicious. We found the season Flammkuchen with asparagus, to be the best. This one was ordered twice on the table. They have fused the classics with different styles, so it is worth trying till you find out your favourite one. The sweet ones for the dessert are amazing. It takes a while for the food to arrive to the table after placing the order. The service is very nice and friendly. The drinks were refreshing, the wine was good. They do have a nice outside seating. We were here for the team dinner and everyone was happy with the food and the service. Overall the place is worth the price you are lying for all you can eat.

We had a flat-rate tarte flambée meal. The food was varied, but not consistently good. The ambiance (interior) exudes clubhouse charm. The staff is very friendly. To sum it up: Nice, but we won't be going back.

This is my second time there! The tarte flambée is simply fantastic. With all-you-can-eat options, you can eat until your stomach is full 😊 - They also offer gluten-free tarte flambée, which is a plus for allergy sufferers! Furthermore, the service is excellent, friendly, and super fast! There's plenty of seating. Reservations are always recommended. The parking lot in front of the restaurant could have a bit firmer surface—but that's only a minor issue if you're wearing higher shoes. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

A very delicious tarte flambée, one of the best I've ever eaten. The service is very friendly and helpful, leaving nothing to be desired. A very nice ambiance, and there's a large lawn outside with tables. The only annoying thing is the swarms of wasps in the summer, but that's not the restaurant's fault. All in all, a wonderful experience. I'd love to come back!

Disappointed. We drove here especially from another town. We tried to make a reservation via email. We were told to call. The man on the phone was very rude and said he had written down our name. We arrived and we weren't listed (apparently, this has never happened before). The food came quickly, but only one person came to the table at a time and it was ready within a few minutes. Prices are too high. The tarte flambée from the freezer at Aldi is a thousand times tastier. The food was so burnt that in some cases you could only taste the burnt bits. We find it strange that you can only come with a reservation and the service behind it is abysmal.

We got a time-limited reservation very spontaneously. It was very busy that day, and the kitchen was busy. Nevertheless, we definitely ate our fill with the all-you-can-eat option. Since we had to vacate the table at some point, they gave us the last-ordered tarte flambée to take away. Generally, the tarte flambée is very good and the service is friendly. It's a bit noisy now and then when it's busy, but that's normal with so many customers. The food comes out pretty quickly, though.

Super friendly staff! 1 star deducted for the very rigid system with the tarte flambée/person number, etc. The tarte flambée was very tasty, it could have been a bit faster at times, especially since the system doesn't allow you to order two at once, for example, or one for one person (not even for an extra charge). But otherwise, everything was fine!

We visited twice in a short period of time. The all-you-can-eat option is particularly great because you can try so many different tarte flambées. The service is fast and good; I really enjoyed it. The only drawback is that you definitely need a reservation, and because it's always busy, it's naturally a bit noisy. But all in all, it's definitely worth five stars and one (or more) visits.

Not for individualists. If your tastes differ, you're forced to either eat what your partner or the other person likes, or wait 20 minutes for your own tarte flambée. We like to eat together at the same time and what we each like. We left and went somewhere else where everyone got their own tarte flambée.

A large selection of tarte flambées is especially worthwhile as an all-you-can-eat option. The option to order any tarte flambée gluten-free is particularly noteworthy. It can get quite noisy on the covered terrace at times. The wait for the first tarte flambée was quite long due to the large number of guests in the restaurant.

Today, three of us went to the Flammkuchenhof for the all-you-can-eat option. The first three tartes flambées were delicious: crispy, well-cooked bases, fresh ingredients – truly impressive. Unfortunately, the quality declined significantly as the restaurant progressed. As the restaurant grew more crowded, almost all tables were occupied, and the wait times increased significantly – sometimes over 20 minutes per tarte flambée. Furthermore, the last four savory tartes flambées were all served too dark or burnt. The crust was dry and practically crumbled when lifted. Added to that, there was a real comfort disadvantage: We sat at a small table with simple wooden benches without backrests. When we booked, we weren't told that only the larger group tables have chairs with backrests. As someone with back problems, this is extremely uncomfortable – unfortunately, we weren't offered an alternative. On the plus side: the beer was well chilled, and the homemade lemonade was excellent. Priced mid-range, but the declining quality and seating issues significantly dampen the overall impression.

Very nice restaurant. For large groups, I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat option. Unfortunately, it's not open for lunch :(

This means that instead of just one server taking care of each table, everyone takes care of everything. You can eat like an assembly line or take breaks as needed. We were completely satisfied, very full, and will definitely be back with more at some point. Great!

This Flammkuchen spot is one of the few in Heidelberg that we actually really like. And yeah… we love Flammkuchen. So when we saw they had an all-you-can-eat deal for a set price, we had to try it and honestly, we’re glad we did! There were tons of creative options to try, and the flavors were super fun. But a couple of things caught us off guard. Like, each table can only order one Flammkuchen at a time (or maybe two if the staff is feeling generous), so we had to agree on what to get as a group… and that wasn’t always easy. Plus, they don’t let you do half-and-half flavors, which would’ve made things so much easier. It would’ve been awesome to mix two different kinds on one Flammkuchen and let everyone try more stuff without ordering a million full ones. Still, even with that little hiccup, the food was seriously delicious :)

Highly recommended. The interior is rustic. The outside area features beer benches with backrests and cushions. A green area for children to play in. Accessible via the terrace.

A MUST-DO FOR EVERY FLAMMENKUCHEN LOVER We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky. We were told on the phone that you normally have to reserve at least two weeks in advance, but we could drop by and maybe something would become available spontaneously. The food was amazing: 100 different tarte flambées, all of which can be ordered vegan and with various extras. We went "all you can eat," and it was worth it. We were able to devour 23 tarte flambées. So we got our money's worth 😉! Definitely worth a visit! Especially after a lovely day in Heidelberg.

Such a delicious variety of tarte flambée is highly recommended. Each tarte flambée was delicious and well-filled. The staff was so friendly, and even though the restaurant was busy, everything went quickly. You do need to make a reservation, though.

A lovely restaurant with delicious tarte flambée and a fantastic lemonade. The speed of delivery for the all-you-can-eat menu was particularly remarkable. They also have adequate sunscreen for hot weather in the blazing sun. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the all-you-can-eat menu for particularly hot days, as the price-performance ratio simply isn't worth it. Bonus: Children and other interested parties can pass the time with the chickens on the adjacent property while waiting for their delicious tarte flambée.

Very tasty, a great, creative selection of different tarte flambées. Individual ingredients can be customized upon request, and everything is available in gluten-free and vegan versions if needed. This is a lot of fun, especially as a group!

Yes. The tarte flambée is delicious. However, you always need to make a reservation. The restaurant always books both inside and outside, so the seating is always double booked. You have to be lucky to get a table, or the restaurant has to work on its reservations.

We called specifically to see if it was possible to come in, and they agreed. However, after waiting 40 minutes, they immediately turned us away, saying it was too crowded. The woman who greeted us was also very unfriendly.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We had called ahead to ensure we had a seat, especially since we had a 40-minute drive. We were assured over the phone that we could come and eat. When we arrived, however, we were very rudely turned away by a blonde employee. She said there was no room for us and offered no consideration, no apology, and no explanation as to why we had been told otherwise on the phone. The tone was anything but hospitable. It's a shame, we had been looking forward to a pleasant visit. This shouldn't happen at a restaurant, especially when guests call ahead. Unfortunately, this was the first and last time for us.

It’s also at walkable distance from train station ( 5 stations from Heidelberg going towards Mannheim ) The service was also good, but if there are many customers you should be fast in choosing the food, as the servers may go to next table quickly 😃 Chicken and duck farms in neighbourhood was adding to the ambience of overall atmosphere

Unique, I'd say! The tarte flambée selection is very original and delicious. The "all you can eat" option is highly recommended, especially for groups. The seating is comfortable both inside and out—both outside and in the annex, with a lovely rustic ostrich-inn atmosphere. Of course, it's not the quietest, but that makes it lively and is part of the ambiance. The service has always been very friendly, quick, and patient. In fact, every time I leave, I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

A remote tourist restaurant with a very extensive selection of tarte flambée. Flat rate: €21.90. Drinks are quite expensive... in summer, you sit outside on tents. Very busy on weekends... reservations are essential.

We spent a very pleasant evening with excellent, varied tarte flambée, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. A definite recommendation.

The tarte flambée and the service were truly excellent. Some of the flavors are naturally exotic, but classic versions are also available. Every tarte flambée is also available for vegans. The ambiance, however, is somewhat reminiscent of a beer garden or a local pub, but still cozy and informal. Payment by card is accepted, and parking is readily available.

Super delicious food, the All You Can Est is perfect, no long waiting times. The selection of tarte flambées is huge and there is something for everyone. Whether vegetarian, non-vegetarian, sweet or salty, it's all there and very tasty. One drink is enough to last you the entire evening.

Super tasty tarte flambée variations and also classic Alsatian dishes in a nice clubhouse with a beer garden right next to the motorway. The friendly, quick waitresses ensure a constant supply of drinks and tarte flambées. I recommend the all-you-can-eat, after the second tarte flambée it's already worth it and you can munch through the menu without worrying. My favorites are date bacon/tofu and raspberry. Parking can be difficult on busy days due to the location in the field if the lot is overcrowded. It can get a bit noisy when the tables are full.

It was an awesome place, we have tried “all you can eat” offer and we ate almost 7-8 Flammkuchen😃 and drinks and it only vost 27 euto per head

The restaurant is located in the Heidelberg Wienlingen small animal breeding home, in the countryside. They only serve delicious tarte flambées with creative toppings. Great idea that everyone at the table eats a tarte flambée together before the next one comes. Unfortunately there are no plates or cutlery, so you eat everything with your fingers. Unfortunately, dough is bought ready-made and not made yourself. Some sauces also come from ready-made production. Lots of young people in the restaurant with all you can eat options.

It was very loud and it was difficult to have a normal conversation. The tarte flambées were good and there was a varied selection, unfortunately we had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes for new ones (two tarte flambées each, but they were quickly gone for five people).

The words to sum it up: fully satisfying! We chose the all you can eat option and it was definitely worth it. The flammkuchen was deliciously crispy and thin. We especially love the flammkuchen of the day which is the asparagus. In overall, we it was hard to choose our favourites as so many flavours were really good. Berlin and Hong Kong were on top of our favourite list as well. One tip from us, do not forgo the banana flambiert flammkuchen as dessert, it was a perfect end of the dinner. Moreover, we were especially surprised on how fast the next flammkuchen were served! Definitely a must visit restaurant in Heidelberg

Nice staff and very good food. Flammkuchen selection is large. Seats could be comfortable because sitting on a beer bench without a backrest for 3-4 hours is not comfortable.

The ordering process is really crap. We were there in a larger group and HAD to order the Flammkucheb together because it couldn't be coordinated any other way. It should be possible to simply order a tarte flambée for yourself without having to make arrangements. The tarte flambée tasted good and the vegan selection was great.

We were just there, invited by a birthday boy. The service staff was very friendly and patiently explained to us what the difference was between all you can eat and regular orders. Tarte flambée came quickly and was without exception delicious. Price-performance ratio was right, we paid €150 including drinks for 7 people. Clear recommendation, The only downer is the parking lot in front of the house, which is littered with potholes; By the time you get into the house or back into the car, your shoes are dirty.

The selection of tarte flambée was very good and was delivered very quickly after ordering. The waitresses were all very friendly & accommodating. The ambience was rather very rustic, but it didn't bother us, we still sat comfortably! I would also like to come back again personally!

Very nice restaurant. Depending on the time, you get a tarte flambée every 10-15 minutes. Ideally you don't come with 4 but with 5 so that you can always have 2 tarte flambées at the same time... so you had to sit there for a relatively long time without eating. However, you now have to pre-order extremely early in order to get something, depending on the group size.

You are served one flammkuchen at a time no matter how many ppl on the table. Classic all you can eat tactic, they don’t serve fast so you feel full with less food and they make more money. Sorry but very disappointing.

One thing in advance, you should reserve 2 weeks in advance, because the farm is always good, so there is rarely enough space for a spontaneous visit. It was my second time at Flammkuchenhof and for the second time we chose the 'All You Can Eat'. The drinks are well chilled and come quickly after they are ordered, so there is no long waiting time. I can recommend the house lemonade, apple spritzer for children and the alcoholic drinks are also solid. No matter which tarte flambée you order, they all come very quickly and you should plan roughly which one you will choose when you arrive. Whether savory classic, modern or sweet, there is something for everyone and it invites you to try it. Of course there are also vegan options! There isn't much more to say and you should see for yourself!

Very good parking options, directly around the location. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we got a clean table and the service was very friendly. The food didn't take long to arrive and was very tasty. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. After paying you were allowed to choose between different spirits.

Staff friendly and attentive, ambience consists of beer tent sets (sometimes with backrests, sometimes without) with disposable blankets, even the cards are printed, replaceable sheets. Quite loud in the cultivation! I would come again as a group, but not as a couple or with the family! Food: Tarte flambée arrives hot at the table and is served quite quickly despite the tables being full. There is a large selection and vegan options are also available. There was nothing wrong with the taste!

Very, very tasty tarte flambées with quite a lot to choose from. We tried everything and every tarte flambée was tasty. It is a bit noisy in the large room, but that was less of a bother.

The concept is familiar from Alsace: as much tarte flambée as you can manage for the price of a little less than two tarte flambées. However, they are so rich that you can usually only manage two or two and a half. Lots of options, fast and very friendly service, even though it wasn't full.
