The restaurant is located near the main train station, but I still can't recommend it. My experience there was pretty bad; the food wasn't that good, and the prices were way too high. I'm quite disappointed with this place. I'd rather go to other restaurants in Heidelberg.

I'd gladly give it zero stars if I could. The wine tasted stale and the pasta was overcooked. It was ridiculously expensive, though. On top of that, the waiters were obviously stressed and the elevator music was playing. The embarrassment was topped off by the dirty restrooms. That quickly put a damper on our appetite, and so did we!

Very disappointing… The reviews made us go to the restaurant and got us very excited but unfortunately, apart from the service it was extremely disappointing. The starters were salty for some reason but the main dishes were very bland. Pinsa came pretty cold and tasted slightly better than the frozen ones from the market. The pasta was okay at best, not fresh and also very flavourless. Service was very kind and tried their best considering the place was pretty busy. Overall genuinely not worth the price.

Unfortunately, my visit to the restaurant did not live up to the expectations raised by the online presence. The service seemed unengaged, inflexible, and lacked charm. I found the atmosphere on site to be loud, tense, and generally uninviting. The culinary offerings, at this price point, also failed to impress with either particular creativity or outstanding quality. The gastronomic concept struck me as immature and unprofessional in its implementation.

The style of the interior is very nice. It's easy to have a conversation, and it's not too loud. The pinsa was the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it. The pasta was a bit lacking in salt, but it was still okay. The service was a bit too fast. You barely had time to look at what you wanted. Plus, some of the waiters seemed a bit annoyed. But everyone has a bad day. All in all, uuuhmami is worth a visit.

Only conditionally recommended for large groups (around 50 people). It's delicious, and everyone ends up full, but there were practically squabbles over the appetizers. It took a very long time for the food to arrive at the tables... people just took whatever was available. There weren't enough appetizers for the number of people. In the end, the bold eaters got what they wanted, and the more reserved guests received the less requested dishes. The pinsa was very tasty and plentiful. It's annoying that - despite inquiries - the information about allergens is incorrect/inconsistent.

Wir waren nach der Arbeit mit Arbeitskollegen zum Essen verabredet. Das gesamte Erlebnis, von der Bestellung der Getränke bis zum Nachtisch, war wirklich erstklassig. Wir hatten uns für das Sharing-Konzept entschieden, bei dem verschiedene Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen in die Mitte des Tisches gestellt wurden, sodass jeder von allem probieren konnte. Das Essen wurde zügig serviert, ohne größere Wartezeiten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und fragte regelmäßig, ob wir noch Wünsche hätten. Die Vorspeisen, der Hauptgang und das Dessert waren sehr lecker. Ich hatte eine großartige Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening and were a group of six people. Unfortunately, despite the truly excellent quality of the food, our visit was marred by numerous organizational difficulties, which unfortunately significantly dampened the overall impression. Right from the start, it took an unusually long time to receive our aperitifs. Even afterward, we repeatedly had to wait for our orders to be taken or refilled. What was particularly noticeable was that we had to actively ask several times to even get the next course or drinks. The appetizers also required a longer wait, which we initially accepted with understanding. What particularly irritated us, however, was the exceptionally long wait between the appetizer and the main course: we waited over an hour and fifteen minutes. When we inquired, we were told that a wait of one hour was "normal." However, in our experience in comparable restaurants, this is by no means common. The overall flow of the evening was also unfortunately disjointed: tables around us that had arrived after us were served significantly more quickly. This left us with the feeling that our table was repeatedly forgotten or pushed back in the order. We were in the restaurant from approximately 7:30 p.m. until just before 10:00 p.m. The main course alone wasn't served until around 9:30 or 9:45 p.m. During the evening, we had repeatedly asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, despite our request, the manager didn't come to our table in person, which we found very disappointing. A clarifying conversation could certainly have avoided misunderstandings. We would like to specifically highlight the quality of the food. The kitchen staff cooked truly excellently, and everything tasted of a high standard. This is precisely why it is particularly regrettable that the service and organization that evening could not keep up with the high level of kitchen performance. As a small compensation, we were only offered two bottles of water. Given the very long wait times and the generally lacking communication, we would have appreciated a more generous gesture, such as covering a round of drinks or at least the aperitifs. We would like to emphasize that we generally have a lot of patience and understanding for unusual situations, especially on a busy Saturday evening. However, what is crucial for us is how such challenges are handled: through information, transparency, and a genuine attempt to make the evening enjoyable for guests. Unfortunately, after this visit, we have decided not to return in the future. However, we hope that our feedback will help us improve the service and processes in the future – because the quality of the food actually had the potential to make this evening a very pleasant experience.

The scenery is nice, with a nice place outside and cute lights. The food wasn't that good unfortunately... The dishes were missing salt, one pasta plate might have been done with frozen peas and gave a weird taste to the sauce, the tiramisu was quite sour, which is not what you would expect from a tiramisu. The customer service was okay, they weren't smiling much but they were speaking English which is a good point for them ! In general, I was expecting something of better quality for the price I paid...

First of all, the food (pinsa) is very good. What's really unacceptable, however, is that they tell you you can park anywhere in front of the restaurant. While that's true, it's only free for 30 minutes... then you get a €45 penalty for parking violations. Apparently, there's a code for registration in the restaurant... but nobody told you that.

We ordered three appetizers and a double pinsa with salmon online on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, for a total of €70.00 for two people. Unfortunately, one of the payment transactions initially failed, which is why I had two €70.00 pending payments on my bank statement for days. During the online ordering process, you can select a specific time slot for the food to be ready; in our case, 7:30 p.m. When we arrived, the only service employee was busy serving, communicating with the kitchen about orders and deliveries, and assigning new guests to tables. In total, we waited about 15 minutes until the service employee – who was clearly trying hard but completely overwhelmed – could see us. At first, the ordered food was nowhere to be found. Then it finally showed up, but as we discovered later, it was cold. The food itself was essentially prepared with the simplest ingredients; the salmon was fatty, the baked Parmesan pastry tasted dry, the dumplings were a matter of taste, and only the white asparagus was edible. If my partner and her friends hadn't had a positive experience at the restaurant a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have ordered there. And unfortunately, I won't again, mainly because of the disparity between value and price.

I have to say that neither my cocktail, the starter, the main course nor the dessert blew me away. Above all, I don't understand how panna cotta can be on the menu and I suddenly get something with a cookie base. The taste was more like a mini New York cheesecake. I had to use real strength to get something onto the spoon.

The food is usually really great and we are particularly impressed by special combinations and new culinary ideas there. Unfortunately, it's even more noticeable when dishes taste boring, which unfortunately is the case every time (we always try our way through half the menu) - but that's a matter of taste, of course. The service is mostly extremely friendly and you feel comfortable - but the attention drops enormously after the food order is through - that's a shame, especially given the prices.

Very nice modern restaurant with a very tasty selection of starters (vegetarian and with meat) which you should definitely try. I can only recommend the Pinsas for sharing or on your own! We had the Pinsa San Daniele. The service was extremely nice and very attentive, which overall led to a very nice evening.

The Pinsa is a poem! My recommendation is the one with fresh truffles. The service is very attentive. The waiting time is reasonable. Free parking is available on site from 4:30 p.m. The atmosphere is modern and very cozy. In summer you can enjoy your meal on the small terrace.

For people who would rather post their food than taste it. Soulless corporate ID restaurant. The visit made me sad. Pseudo avant-garde cuisine. The food is hidden under green clippings of herbs to camouflage its banality. The principle works for the standard Instagram Trulla. Amateurish attempt at food design. Simply pour a bunch of nut snack mix with cress onto the mozzarella ball and you can charge 10 times as much for it. A small pizza for over 30 euros. A drizzle of balsamic vinegar on top and the price is justified. So if you feed more on the likes of poor relatives than on actual culinary experiences, you'll get your money's worth here.

The restaurant offers a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Thanks to the acoustic ceiling sails, it's not overly loud, even though the restaurant was very busy. I enjoyed the food very much, the portion size was okay. The menu is manageable, which is actually a good sign. One or two additional Pinsa variations couldn't hurt. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and open kitchen were clean. Likewise the toilets. Minus point: Parking is a challenge for those who don't know. You can park anywhere after 4:30 p.m., even if company names are displayed. You can then register the vehicle for 5 hours free of charge in the restaurant. If I had known this beforehand, I wouldn't have driven around forever looking for a place to park.

Unfortunately it wasn't a successful evening. The four of us ate at uuuhmami for the first time. We had great expectations, which unfortunately were not met. The restaurant with its open kitchen is very nice in itself, but due to the very high ceilings it is also very loud, which all 4 of us found unpleasant and it was also very full. The service was very friendly and helpful, but we had 4 different service staff serving us over the course of the evening. Unfortunately, when it comes to the food, you have to say that the price/performance ratio is not right. The starters tasted very good but were very small. We had the Parmesan confectionery, the buffalo mozzarella and the beetroot salad. Unfortunately the main courses were a disappointment. The entrecote tasted good, but the side dish of potato gratin was only lukewarm and once completely cold. The meat was also only lukewarm on the plate, so it quickly got cold. The pinsa had good dough but the topping was completely uninteresting in terms of taste. The pasta with broccoli, which was completely unseasoned, was completely wrong. I've never had such bad pasta. For €19 it's almost a shame to serve it like that. We communicated our criticism to the service staff, who took note and wanted to pass it on. The four of us paid over €150. We only had a few drinks. For this price we expect significantly better quality of food. We will therefore only visit the restaurant once and cannot recommend it to others.

The table near the entrance area was very drafty and freezing cold, as guests rarely closed the door behind them, and the staff didn't react to this either. Unfortunately, this made the evening very uncomfortable. All in all, the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

The service was disappointing and inflexible. The online menu for Pinsa was different from the one on-site, and ordering the desired Pinsa Amatriciana from the online menu was not possible. Instead, we were recommended to eat the corresponding Pasta Amatriciana instead of Pinsa. It’s a shame that the 45-minute drive was in vain. Alternative Pinsa was okay.

Relaxed atmosphere, hip style, warm people. EXCELLENT starters (get three for 30 Euros). We all had "pinsas" (a style of hand-pressed pizza dough, a part of Roman artisan baking for over 100 years) and we enjoyed the fresh, natural and super tasty flavor of our dishes. Good food, good wine, very well-made aperitifs, with only a bit closer to the high-end in the price. A bit more than a year later … … the place is AFTER its hype, so the food is still decent but the service faceless and unprofessional as the focus is more on business than service … The Pinsas arrived 45 minutes after the entries, and RIGHT after taking the last bite the table got emptied, and we were asked to move to the lounge so they can prepare the table for the next customers … 😂… a ridiculous suggestion, considering that it was the restaurant’s fault that we ate so late … It felt as if we were on a production belt … the customer being expendable for profit … you eat you pay you go … I wonder if this is the experience this restaurant has to offer from now on .. 🤨

Great restaurant. Nice atmosphere: modern in an industrial style but still pleasant. The special pizza variation that is the focus here is a hit. Fresh, incredibly tasty. Refined flavor combinations. The look into the top kitchen, which runs like clockwork, is fascinating and shows customers the hard work behind the great dishes. I think it's absolutely necessary these days that guests always make this clear. Absolute recommendation!

If you love creative cuisine and want to treat your palate to a short vacation, you have to go to uuuhmami. Here the name says it all. The service is great too. Courteous and polite, but at the same time relaxed and personable. The kitchen is also on point. In my opinion, the time between order and delivery is very good, considering the creations. Located just outside the old town, it’s a popular restaurant among youngsters. The staff is friendly, helpful and crowded- nothing remains unnoticed. The food is ok; meat is alright, pizzetta is really good, especially the truffle and cheese. Tacos is interesting, wrapped in salad. Tiramisu is not bad.

Gastronomy is tough business. But almost everything is right here: Rarely have we seen such a motivated team, the kitchen enjoys what they do. The pizza is really exceptionally good, but so are all the other dishes. The ambience is right, with constantly changing works of art on the walls. Cash register system, reservations running. And only card payments indicate that you will be billed properly. Could be my “best of Heidelberg”.

Very cute restaurant. We were all very satisfied with the various dishes and the à la carte selection. The vegetarian Maultaschen were delicious, as were the Käsespätzle! The salads are also very good and fresh. (Note that the restaurant only accepts cash.) We will definitely be back!

My first experience with all you can eat flammkuchen. So many varieties to choose from and each one of them is equally delicious. We found the season Flammkuchen with asparagus, to be the best. This one was ordered twice on the table. They have fused the classics with different styles, so it is worth trying till you find out your favourite one. The sweet ones for the dessert are amazing. It takes a while for the food to arrive to the table after placing the order. The service is very nice and friendly. The drinks were refreshing, the wine was good. They do have a nice outside seating. We were here for the team dinner and everyone was happy with the food and the service. Overall the place is worth the price you are lying for all you can eat.
