Very very tasty. So incredibly tasty and service very attentive and nice 😍 Well, to Nils down there, then stay at home, what you're writing here is simply self-dissatisfaction with yourself, you're just embarrassing.

We spontaneously got hungry and were walking a little south of Bismarck Platz when we noticed the open window with the great tables. The first few pages of the menu are handwritten, rotating dishes. We took the sea bream from that. Was super tasty! Had a very nice meal there.

We decided to visit this establishment and call it a restaurant, but we can’t help but think because the reviews were very positive. Food: at first we were told that there was no meat, then they found meat rated 3+, they brought the “Venice” salad, which seemed like nothing, until the appearance of the artichoke, which was not suitable for eating. The service was long. Cleanliness was a “3”. If we wanted to pay by card, we received the answer that Visa is not accepted.

Not recommended! We ate there on a Saturday evening, it wasn't busy but after we ordered it took at least an hour for the food. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was ok but the pizza was a complete disappointment. I don't understand the many positive reviews. Bad service and bad food. Too bad!

Ein super gemütliches Familienrestaurant mit richtig guter, hausgemachter italienischer Küche! Die Fischgerichte sind der Hammer – frisch und perfekt gewürzt. Auch die Pizzen: knusprig, lecker und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Man schmeckt einfach, dass hier mit Herz gekocht wird. Absolute Empfehlung!

Went to this small, cozy family restaurant in Heidelberg with my husband for Valentine's Day. Despite the full house, the service was super friendly and attentive. I had the Pizza Vegetariana – crispy, freshly topped and incredibly tasty! My husband had the spaghetti with gaberi and monkfish which was also fantastic. It's rare to find such good food anywhere in the area. We'll definitely be back!

I would say the food was average for an Italian. Last time the pizza was very overloaded with cheese. Service was rather unfriendly and everything took a relatively long time even though the store wasn't full.

I had a nice relaxing evening. I chose the pizza calzone and it was a good choice. Delicious. If you're making homemade hot sauce, I would advise you to simply google a recipe. That wasn't particularly tasty. I would have drunk one more red wine, but the service just didn't come over. No I have no idea whether the day is good, but keeping an eye on the customer brings more satisfaction and sales.

We had a wonderful dinner. The service was great, the food tasted wonderful and I can't fault the ambience either. In my eyes you can see how much effort is being put into this. Why only four stars is a legitimate question. For me, the portion could have been a little larger, which is why I unfortunately wasn't full with the homemade torteloni. Some of the best pizza I've ever been served - and that includes the one in Italy. And all at a fair, affordable price. The landlady is extremely friendly and accommodating. My recommendation for anyone who wants to eat Italian in Heidelberg.

Food was great. However, beware that they do NOT accept Visa cards (even if on their front entrance they say they accept everything including Visa and Amex). We were caught off guard and unprepared, and had to run out of our cash, which was quite annoying.

Because of the many positive reviews, we had quite high expectations - and were not disappointed. Italian salad and especially the pizza are absolutely great. One of the best I've ever eaten. Service very friendly and on the ball. Atmosphere cozy and authentic. Prices very fair! It was a bit dark in the restaurant for us in the early evening. Overall, highly recommended. :-)

I just love this Italian restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and everything we ordered was simply outstanding. I would particularly like to highlight the pizza – perhaps the best pizza I have ever eaten. The dough was wonderfully soft and slightly crispy, and the toppings were so plentiful that I could hardly eat it all. Nevertheless, I ate everything because it was really delicious. And most importantly, this restaurant saved us as it is one of the few places where you can still eat really well at almost 11 o'clock on a Sunday evening. I would like to express my big thanks to the owner of the restaurant for her hospitality, excellent food and wonderful time!

If you want to find real Sicilian cuisine with quality ingredients, this is the right place! Family run that reflects typical Italian gastronomy, friendly, professional and multilingual service! The bread is something spectacular and even the cured meats and cheeses are professionally selected by Giovanni (the owner) who together with his wife and children make this place something incredible outside of modern times where social media and marketing have taken over true art Italian cuisine. Highly recommended and don't complain if you wait 10 minutes more because here everything is cooked expressly and because the restaurant is not a fast food but a place to spend a couple of hours chatting and enjoying Mediterranean delicacies. The waitress was very nice but she was by herself so everything thing was a little bit in a rush and the bread for the salad arrived when we were finishing to eat. The atmosphere was nice meaning chill, clean but a little bit old … they missed to have wifi!

The margarita pizza was the best i’ve ever had in europe and the tiramisu was to die for and i didn’t leave anything on my plate. I love how it is all homemade and the overall “vibe” is very cozy. My family and I were so impressed at how the one nice lady kept up with great service and a good attitude, being the only server. If you are in this area, it’s a must to eat here!

Santa Lucia in Heidelberg impresses with fantastic Italian cuisine, a warm-hearted hostess who keeps an overview even in hectic times and also caters wonderfully for large groups (in our case as part of a company outing)! We'd love to come back!

Although you had to bring some time, the food was excellent, except for the salad, which was a bit plain with a few lettuce leaves and 3 tomato slices.

If you’re staying for business at the adjacent Hilton, skip this place. I arrived at 7:40 pm on a Saturday to a semi packed house but was able to find a table after being told to ‘sit anywhere’. After half an hour with no service, the menu was slammed in front of me and I made my choice based on the photos on Google. The house wine was rancid and no one stopped by for any service or follow up. They are severely understaffed with one older lady running the tables and a younger fellow running the food. After an hour, there is still no food and no visit from the single waitress in the restaurant. Clearly, they cater to locals and a table for 1 or 2 isn’t a priority. I had to ask for EVERYTHING. Not once did she come by to ask how the meal was going although I witnessed this many times at other tables. The food was mediocre at best but the service and overall vibe for a non German person of color make this place unpleasant. Stay away if you’re a visitor. They don’t want your business

Wonderful old fashioned Italian restaurant. Lovely people running the business. Pizzas are very tasty and their truffle ravioli was super delicious. A great place to visit when staying at the Hilton and you want to avoid the old town tourist traps.

I was thoroughly disappointed during my first visit to this place. Firstly, no one should have to wait an hour to receive their bill. Service consisted of giving us our dinner, a bit of water, a beverage, and that was the extent of our interaction with the server. There was no asking how we were enjoying our meal nor were we asked if we wanted more water or drinks. There’s a reason this place is cheaper in comparison to others in the area. The saying “You get what u pay for” certainly rings true here. Lots of other wonderful places to take your money where people truly care about their customers. Big disappointment. Pass on this one.

Last night, the pizza was amazing, with Prosciutto San Daniele Riserva. I've been enjoying going to Santa Lucia for 25 years. Everything as it always was and should be. Look forward to a nice and tasty stay.

Disastrous service, almost an hour of waiting time for the food... the boss messes around and is still completely overwhelmed. My time in life is too valuable for further visits.

Easy, delicious, classic Italian food. only point of criticism. the wine list. it is very simple. Very middle class when it comes to the quality of the wine itself. It doesn't have to be a work of art, but a few good drops would enhance the good dishes.

The service and atmosphere were really good, but the carbonara felt like it was just egg and cheese covered pasta rather than authentic carbonara. Aglio Olio was an ambiguous oil pasta with a slight garlic flavor!!

Santa Lucia in Heidelberg is a real highlight! The charming atmosphere, accompanied by excellent Italian dishes and attentive service, make every visit a culinary pleasure. Fully recommended for connoisseurs! The price-performance ratio is reasonable, I liked the Pizza Della Casa best and the panna cotta for dessert! Highly recommended, I'd be happy to come back at any time.

Sehr schönes Ambiente! Wirklich sehr nettes Personal und man bekommt den italienischen Flair mit! Ich schwöre auf deren Gegrillten Dorade. Noch nie so guten Fisch bekommen. Es ist echt sein Geld wert! Auch gute Anbindungen sind und Park Möglichkeiten!

Wir waren Samstags auf der Suche nach etwas zu Essen. Nachdem wir an 3 Restaurants abgewiesen wurden, weil voll bekamen wir noch einen schönen Tisch, in dem sonst ausgesuchten Restaurant. Die arme Bedienung musste den Tresen sowie auch den Service ganz alleine stemmen. Uns wurde gesagt das wir uns auf längere Wartezeit einstellen sollten. Ich habe in anderen Lokalen schon länger auf Essen und Trinken gewartet wo weniger los war. Die Bedienung hatte sogar trotz der Hektik ein nettes Lächeln für ihre Gäste übrig.

Aktuell nach meiner Einschätzung die beste Pizza in Heidelberg. Der Teig ist so wie er sein soll und die Küche verwendet qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten.

Die Pizza mit viel Rucola und riesigen Parmesan Spänen sowie der gemischte salat waren sehr lecker. Zum Salat wurde jeweils eine Flasche Joghurt Dressing, Olivenöl und Essig zum selber anmachen geliefert. Salz und Pfeffer stand auch auf dem Tisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Le service peut sembler long mais l'attente est bien récompensée ! Les penne quatre formaggi et la pizza wurst ont été délicieuses et l'ambiance italienne superbe. Les prix sont de plus peu élevés. Une bonne adresse pour bien manger !

Essen war mega! Ich hatte selten so eine gute Pizza. Der Service war freundlich und authentisch (italienisch), hatte allerdings mehr zu tun und deshalb zog sich der Aufenthalt. Generell aber sehr zu empfehlen und ich komme auch gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Super Pizza sehr zu empfehlen. Service mangelhaft- zu fünft an einen vierer Tisch gesetzt worden um dann noch einmal umgesetzt zu werden an einen größeren Tisch der vorher auch schon frei war. Das Essen kam zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten als das letzte Essen kam war der erste schon wieder fertig. Auch der Streit aus der Küche war bis ins Restaurant zu hören. Sehr unschön

Unser Stamm-Italiener seit Jahren. Ausgezeichnete Küche, nicht nur sehr gute Pizza und Pasta, auch die Fisch- und Fleischgerichte sind wirklich fein, z.B. "Scaloppine al limone" ... ein Traum und absolut den Preis wert. Authentisches italienisches Ambiente und immer einen Besuch wert.

Die beste Pizza, die ich dieses Jahr gegessen habe war hier- und das, obwohl ich dieses Jahr in der Toscana war. Gemütlich war es außerdem, der Laden voll und die Bedienung dennoch freundlich und authentisch. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Sensationell, wie in Italien… sehr authentisch, essen sehr gut, Portionen reichlich. Preis Leistung top, ich komme wieder keine Frage. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und das ganze Lokal wirkt sehr authentisch. Super lecker war vor allem die im Parmesanlaib geschwenkten Trüffelpasta. Als Nachtisch durfte für uns eine Tiramisu nicht fehlen. Es war rundum himmlisch!

Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und die Einrichtung hat einen charmanten italienischen Touch. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte bot eine große Auswahl an traditionellen italienischen Gerichten. Ich entschied mich für die Tortelloni al tartufo und war beeindruckt von der Qualität und der frischen Zutaten. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war warm und köstlich. Ich war auch sehr zufrieden mit den Portionen. Der Preis war angemessen für die Qualität der Speisen und den Service, den ich erhalten habe. Insgesamt war es ein großartiges italienisches Restauranterlebnis und ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Eine 5 von 5 Sternen.

This time we went for a pizza. Really good quality, fresh ingredients, just how I like a pizza. Next to that friendly service. And an oke’ish Barbera. We finished with a good espresso and Tiramisu.

Wir haben zu viert ein Vitello tonnato und vier Pizzen gegessen und sind satt und zufrieden nach Hause gegangen. Sehr gutes Essen, guter Service, nettes Ambiente. Zu viert 80 Euro (keine alkoholischen Getränke) ist auch völlig in Ordnung. Schöner Abend!

Simply wonderful food and great service. Food was quickly made, clearly homemade and better quality than some food even in Italy! We had pizzas mostly, all of which were great value. We loved it so much, we went 3 times in 5 days and invited many of our friends to try while also here on holiday!

Wir waren nach vier Jahren wieder im Santa Lucia essen und es war erneut toll. Unsere Pizza und Ravioli waren ganz ausgezeichnet und man fühlt sich wie in Italien. Weinkarte gab es zwar keine, aber die Chefin empfahl uns einen sehr feinen Primitivo. Trotz sehr gut besuchtem Restaurant und der Tatsache dass die Chefin alleine bedienen musste, hatten wir nur eine kurze Wartezeit bevor unser Essen kam. Alles in allem ein sehr gemütlicher Abend. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir waren abends zu dritt zum Essen, es waren nur zwei Tische besetzt; die Speisekarte bietet ein großes Angebot an traditionellen italienischen Gerichten von Pizza über Pasta bis Fleisch- und Fischgerichten an. Wir entschieden uns für Trüffelravioli, Pizza mit Rucola und Pennette mit Auberginen und Cocktailtomaten, alle Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet und kamen dennoch zügig. Die Zubereitung war sehr gut, die Mengen reichlich, der Geschmack sehr gut, die Pizza dünn und knusprig. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Die Preise sind angemessen und liegen im mittleren Bereich.

Read the great reviews and went looking forward to our pizzas. Unfortunately, the whole experience left much to be desired. The service was casual and slow while the restaurant was almost empty and when it became full, the only woman serving was chaotic but did get very best. Our pizzas took forever to arrive even though we were early and only the third couple to arrive. My Margarita pizza was meant to be thin and crispy with some extra cheese but it was soft and doughy with so much cheese that it was impossible to enjoy. I asked for one additional topping of sliced olives and hit massive whole, sour olives - with stones / pits still in. Inedible. The wine list was limited to four wines and was at best, table wine. Hmmm ... Our sparkling water, San Peligrino, was warm. Not good. As the restaurant got full, the service became even slower. Tedious. I'm sure there are better places for pizzas and Italian food in the same area. See my other reviews in Heidelberg.

Erst vor der verschlossenen Tür erfährt man, dass zur Zeit Betriebsferien sind. Sehr schade, dass weder auf der Internetseite noch hier, darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird.

Oft sind die Zufallsfunde die in einer Empfehlung enden... so auch hier. Nettes kleines Italienisches Restaurant mit freundlicher italienischer Seele. 2 x kl. Insalata Mista, 2 Pizza und 2 Radler für € 39,00... sehr lecker und ordentliche Größe! Gerne wieder!!

For us, this restaurant may move up in the ranking. The interior is nothing special, but the food is great and value for money. I had the truffel tortelini, which was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended. And who can say no to an authentic tiramisu?

I went there recently after a break of 20 years. No reason for the long break, just have a nice Italian closer to home. We were on a late Christmas staff dinner. I was amazed the same lady was working there (the owner I guess). She hadn't changed much. We had a very enjoyable evening. Food was good solid Italian food as I had remembered from before. I had a Tortellini with sage and butter it was very good. Dessert was good, salad was good. The place can be quite loud, I think it's the cement and tile mix. It was a very enjoyable evening , food was very good and service very good. Prices are average for a Heidelberg Italian. I would recommend it.

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide as a great chance to take a break from German food and really indulge in some authentic Italian cuisine. He warned us the restaurant was small and food took its time coming out. He wasn't wrong about the wait or how wonderful the food was. We had some simple and classic (to us) Italian red sauce dishes with pasta. The sauce had a buttery richness to it that we weren't used to from the US Northeastern Italian restaurants, and it was delicious. They had some good house Italian red wine and the decor was warm and inviting. The wait staff was generally very nice but also very busy. There was a nice woman who seemed like she was running the place and she was waiting on most of the tables, with some help. It took a while to get our appetizers and then meals but everything came out perfectly and we felt very welcomed. Overall it was definitely worth the wait.
