Yesterday we ate at Vetrina for the first time and not for the last time! The service was super nice and attentive. The burata starter was simply delicious. The pasta with truffles is awesome! There was no shortage of truffles. See you next time.

Great services for us as English speakers. They made us feel right at home. Starters of calamari and burrata were stellar. Will order the sea bass (fish of the day) and steak again but not the monkfish pasta. Cocktails were well prepared.

Great and very nice atmosphere. An attentive, very friendly, warm and personal service. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, a great daily menu. The products are of very good, regional quality. I think it's the best Italian in Cologne. I've rarely had such a lovely evening. The food was world class but the bartender was outstanding! Seldom seen such a charming and fast bartender 🍾🙏🏻 I think his name was Markus 👌 The whole company is a family business with everything that goes with it! Can only recommend it! We'll be back! Food was delicious (truffle pasta and grass-fed beef with extra potato gratin). Potato gratin was warmed up and that's how it tasted. Since you had to pay extra for the side dish, it could have been freshly prepared. Service was ok, the owner and the other waitress were very nice and attentive. The stools weren't that comfortable to sit on. But all in all it was a successful evening.

I still dont understand the 4.7 score. Food was okay, overpriced for the quality you get. They took more than 1h to bring the main course after the starter, however the restaurant was almost empty.

Was here with my girlfriend for her birthday dinner. I asked when making the reservation that I would like a nice table because of the celebration. When we arrived we had a nice, quiet table that was decorated appropriately for the birthday. As always, the food and wine recommendations were excellent. The great service and warmth round it all off. After our meal, employees got together and the chef brought a dessert on the house with fireworks and a birthday serenade was served. We were thrilled. As a guest you make you feel like a king in Italy. Thank you!!! Keep it up, you rarely get so much Italy on offer in Cologne. We like to come back often. Grazie mille

The food was incredibly tasty. Our order was: pasta with truffle, risotto, lasagna and tiramisu. The presentation is good. But the service did not seem very friendly to us.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to eat. I went to Vetrina with my wife shortly after 5 and we just wanted to pop in there because a friend of ours had recommended the restaurant. So we just walked in. There wasn't a single guest on site so far, and we asked the "??" politely asked if we had a free choice of seats instead of just sitting down. He was directly unfriendly in a way we have rarely experienced in Cologne. All in all, he made it clear to us that we should screw ourselves and what we could think of to show up before 5:30 p.m. Sorry, everything was open, tables were outside. So why not go in and ask?! Well, after that it was all over. Never ever! My wife works in the catering industry herself, but it's difficult to explain the meaning of service to such a monkey. A pity! But fortunately there are many “more enlightened” alternatives in Cologne.

Overall OK. We had the truffle pasta, which had a lot of truffles on it, but overall it was relatively tasteless. The service was nice, but unfortunately it took a long time before we even got the card (but they were also very busy.) The atmosphere was chic, but also very loud.

Last Saturday my friends and I spontaneously decided to go to Vetrina because we always liked eating there. However, the waitress (older lady) insulted us with the words “YOU CAN’T READ” and turned us away. There was a paper in front of the door that said “reservations only” Since we had missed this, there is still no reason to speak to your customers like that. Absolutely rude and disgraceful. You don't let stress out on the customer. This could also have been communicated in a friendly manner. We won't eat at Vetrina anymore. A pity !

Beautiful Italian restaurant with upscale standards. We originally reserved for 2 and were able to expand to 4 people at short notice. The ambience is nice and the service was good. Drinks came quickly and the food order was also taken quickly. 3 of us got our food at the same time. My wife ordered truffle pasta, which is served at the table in a parmesan wheel. However, the anticipation was dampened. First the loaf was needed at another table while the rest of us got our food, and then it was forgotten again. It took some time until she was finally able to eat. However, the food was very good. I can highly recommend the osso buco with risotto and the truffle pasta was also very tasty. They apologized to us several times for the delay and we also gave us a dessert and a digestif on the house to make up for it. Hence the full stars and we will definitely eat there again.

We were there with the family (10 people) for our 60th birthday. The service was unfriendly and stroppy, we all noticed that right from the start. We kept giving stroppy, annoyed answers to questions and concerns, even though we were very nice. No good appetite, no asking if everything tasted good, it was literally the worst restaurant visit and service we had the pleasure of experiencing. And on such a special evening and special occasion. We then made a complaint because, in our opinion, one dish (salmon) was not completely cooked (it was still raw inside) and was not completely eaten. The unfriendly, slightly older lady then said: “The other one also had salmon, everything was good with her too, both were cooked in the same pot, that can't be right. But I’ll check it once” in an aggressive, loud tone. No sorry nothing. I come from the catering industry myself and have never experienced anything like this or treated guests like this. Then she came back and shouted loudly: “NO, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT WITH THE SALMON, EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD BE, NICE GLASSY.” And nothing more was said or done about it. I'm sorry, what ???? Absolute impudence!!! What a tone and what a complaint procedure!! I didn't finish the salmon and it wasn't the first time I'd eaten salmon in my life, even though she might have been right, I could have been treated more kindly. All 10 of us were taken aback by this terrible behavior, we left almost €500 there and regret having celebrated our 60th birthday there. The restaurant cannot be recommended at all and SERVICE TRAINING should be considered because that's not the way to go paying guests!!!!!!!!!

Update. We were here at Vetrina on New Year's Eve and have to say that the evening was very successful, starting with the personal reception - the place was very nicely decorated. The evening started with an aperitif and was then accompanied by a very tasty menu. Absolutely delicious. The team was always with the guests and fulfilled every wish, even a small conversation enriched the evening. The evening was crowned with a fantastic desert. Despite the many guests, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Many thanks to the Vetrina team. Update, even after visiting it several times, we can recommend the Vetrina without reservation. The cuisine is top, very varied, as is the service. It's usually one of the bosses in the house and is always in contact with the guest. The waiter Florin is particularly attentive. But it's best to try it out yourself. It was our first time at Vetrina and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, we had swordfish carpaccio, grilled octopus and spaghetti with scampi for dessert, amaretto parfait and pistachio ice cream. Everything perfect. The meal was a poem. The staff super friendly and professional. Very nice atmosphere. We can only recommend Vetrina.

Very pleasant service, food is of top quality. I just find it a bit squat and cramped, but I can only recommend it. Be sure to try the truffle pasta in the cheese wheel!

Nice restaurant with good food, but not recommended for those with serious gluten intolerance/celiac disease. Although gluten-free pasta is available, gluten-free is only implemented half-heartedly, forgotten in the starter and the pasta had to be saved from contaminated Parmesan. Unfortunately, service was not recommended that evening.

Almost no vegetarian dishes. There was therefore no real choice. The 3 dishes are not marked as such. There is the possibility of having dishes adapted, i.e. omitting meat/fish components. I don't find the food on offer appealing. Unfortunately there is no burrata either, but there is buffalo mozzarella, which I don't like. Desserts with gelatin... Prices are either too high or the portions are too small... Drinks offer for non-alcoholic guests also weak. The atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly...

I've already eaten at Vetrina a few times with both the company and friends and was thrilled every time. Service is very accommodating. You will be advised which wine goes with which food. The food not only looks great, but also tastes very good. The nice staff refills the wine at the table without being asked, which I find very accommodating. I can highly recommend the restaurant for anyone who likes Italian food 😊

Four of us came here for a birthday dinner and had a great evening. As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly and our jackets were even taken away. The small but varied menu had something for every taste. The food was very tasty and looked great. We sat for a good 3 hours and never felt like we had to leave to free up the table. We had a very nice evening and can only recommend Vetrina!

Nice atmosphere, I would have expected more from the food. The bread and oil are really good. The wine too. Starter good, unfortunately half was forgotten (by 3 people with the same menu). The risotto with seafood is not recommended, nor is the parfait. The risotto comes as a sweet, red (?!) mush and the parfait is so hard that it fell off my plate when I tried to cut it with the spoon I was given. Nobody asked why I didn't eat the risotto. The fillet was tough. The laugh was good. When I told the waiter that it was extremely drafty from the closed window (outside temperature 3 degrees) he answered me with a very cheeky tone in Italian “and what can I do now?”. After that we were no longer served by him and we weren't even said goodbye when we left the restaurant. A second visit is not possible. Not because of the food, because of the service!

Waren heute das erste Mal in der Vetrina. Fantastisches Essen, wunderschönes Ambiente, toller Service. Sehr zufrieden, hier werden wir öfter hingehen.

Ich war gestern Abend im Vetrina essen und möchte mich sehr herzlich bedanken. Ich habe mich sehr Wohlgefühl und das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich komme immer wieder gerne, vor allem nach dem herzlichen Empfang. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen :)

Wir waren mit 12 Personen im Vetrina. Die Location ist toll und hat mir gut gefallen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war etwas "drüber". Sie war irgendwie hibbelig und hat oft Körperkontakt gesucht bei den Gästen, das war irgendwie seltsam. Eine Berührung am Arm, an der Schulter und sie ist wirklich sehr nah an die Gäste ran gekommen. Leider waren alle Portionen wirklich klein, Ich war nach dem "Scallopina" nicht wirklich satt. Ebenso waren die Fischgerichte und das Steak klein. Bei der Penne mit Kalbsragout musste man das Ragout wirklich suchen zwischen den Nudeln. Für den hohen Preis der Gerichte hätte ich mir auch eine ordentliche Portion gewünscht. Der Nachtisch "Pana Cotta" konnte geschmacklich leider auch nicht überzeugen. Ich denke es gibt in Köln andere Restaurants, wo das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis besser stimmt. Ich werde hier nicht mehr hin gehen.

Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Ort zum Essen gehen. Ziemlich italienisch allerdings mit Italien nicht zu vergleichen.

Für uns war der Abend leider sehr enttäuschend. Nach unserer Vorspeise und dem ersten Getränk wurden wir vom Service mehr oder weniger ignoriert. Wir mussten uns redlich bemühen, um wenigstens mal ein Getränk nachbestellen zu können. Auf unsere Pastagerichte zum Hauptgang haben wir eineinhalb Stunden gewartet. Eine Entschuldigung für die lange Wartezeit gab es nicht. Der Hauptgang hätte wärmer sein können, schmeckte aber ansonsten gut. Trotzdem war das wohl unser letzter Besuch, da wir uns einfach nicht willkommen gefühlt haben.

Ich hatte deutlich mehr erwartet. Die Vorspeise und die Trüffelpasta als Hauptgang waren gut! Doch leider haben wir nach der Vorspeise über anderthalb Stunden auf die Trüffelpasta gewartet und erst nach mehrmaligem auf uns aufmerksam machen diese auf Nachfragen dann sehr schnell erhalten. Entsprechend hatte es den Anschein, als hätte man uns vergessen und leider wurde sich auch nicht entschuldigt. Bei den Getränken leider ähnliches. Nach der ersten Runde mussten wir uns sehr bemühen, um weitere bestellen zu dürfen. Gerne hätten wir noch eine Nachspeise genommen, aber die Stimmung war gekippt, schade!

Leckeres Essen, angenehmes Ambiente. Würde wieder kommen!

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Service. Das essen war auf einem sehr hohen Niveau und wir werden das Lokal nicht das letzte mal besucht haben. Die Trüffelpasta und die Kalbsbäckchen waren hervorragend. Großes Lob an die Küche 👍🏼

Delizioso! Wir haben mit 9 Personen am Samstag einen Tisch im Vetrina reserviert. Der Service war toll! Das Essen (Vor- und Hauptspeise) kam perfekt angerichtet und für alle gleichzeitig an...bei sovielen Personen habe ich es auch mal anders erlebt, aber hier nicht. Ich hatte Trüffelpasta, für mich die besten, die ich je hatte 😍 Sie wurden am Tisch zubereitet und die Nudeln vorher durch einen Parmesanlaib gerührt - es war so lecker! Wer also einen schönen Abend beim Italiener verbringen möchte, sollte unbedingt vorbeischauen! Bestellt euch auch unbedingt einen Aperol, der war dort auch spitze 🍹

Mit unser Lieblingsitaliener in Köln. Ein tolles Ambiente, herzliche und familiäre Gastfreundschaft, super Service, und die exzellenten Speisen und Getränke sprechen alleine für sich. Max und sein Team machen das wirklich großartig.

Bekamen beim spontanen Besuch noch einen Platz draußen, da die Sonnigen Tage langsam sich dem Ende neigen, konnte man kein besseres Restaurant für so einem Abend sich wünschen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir den Carpaccio, den wir geteilt hatten. Dieser war sehr gut. Hauptgang waren dann die Trüffelpasta und allein das es am Tisch vorbereitet wird war fürs Auge sehr gut und dann auch noch frische Trüffel die auf die Pasta gehobelt wird, ein Traum. Also jeder Biss war wirklich ein Genuss und auch die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Abseits von "Tortellini al forno" oder "Pizza Prosciutto" endlich mal ein Italiener, der der 🇮🇹 Küche alle Ehre macht! Die "schwarzen Tortellini mit Lachsfüllung" warem ein Traum, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente angenehm. Klare Empfehlung!

Am Sonntag es nach langer Zeit endlich Mal zu euch geschafft und bin sehr enttäuscht worden. Die Burrata war außerordentlich schlecht. Cremig stell ich mir sie vor. Ich habe sie zurückgehen lassen und muss auch gestehen, dass ich das mit dem Hauptgang direkt seingelassen habe. Grund, der Nachbartisch hat 1 Std 15 Min auf ihren gewartet. Und Tiagnello auf der Karte, welcher dann leer ist. Sehr schade. Und den Lichttest macht man am besten vorm service. Aber die Musik war ziemlich gut. Mal kein adriano Celentano 💪

Leider wurden wir erst nach 35 min bedient. Haben leider ewig auf unsere Getränke gewartet und noch länger aufs Essen… (2 Pasta Gerichte). Nachdem wir Fertig gegessen haben wurden die Teller erst nach ca 20 min abgeräumt. Alles in allem waren wir über 2 Stunden dort um 2 Portionen Pasta zu essen. Ewige Wartezeit …

Ausserordentlich gute Pasta und qualitativ hochwertige Produkte. Das Ambiente lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Die Preise sind eher im Mittelfeld, aber dafür bekommt man aber auch einwandfreie Ware. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Bemerkenswert war speziell die Anzahl von Tagesgerichten mit vorwiegend saisonal passenden Zutaten. Die Tageskarte bot nochmal genauso viele Gerichte, wie die Standardkarte. Wir kommen gern wieder!
