Vedang - plant burger (Bikini) in Berlin

Unfortunately the burger tasted like nothing, there was almost no sauce, and it was oily. We ordered the double smash burger and it was not worth the money in my opinion. Smash burgers should have a nice crisp to it and this one was just soggy and didn’t leave a nice aftertaste.

Today I thought I was ordering a vegan burger, but I didn’t know that this place hasn’t been fully vegan for about a year I had recommendations for fully vegan places, and the name Vedang was mentioned to me as a vegan spot So I ordered the ‘Classic Smashburger’ and only later realized it wasn’t vegan. When I asked to replace it — because I genuinely didn’t know — they were really kind and made me a vegan burger instead. I think that’s great service, and I just wanted to highlight this positive experience. By the way, the burger was delicious, and they made it really fast! :) Go vegan 🫡🌱

After the renovation, they've made the place look great. The vegan burger was amazing, and the fries with truffle mayo are a dream vegan option. We'll be back. The team was also very nice.

Vedang Vegan is no more. They still advertise the name, but it's now Smashburger. "Regular" meat burgers cooked on the same plate as the one possible vegan burger. No thanks. Also, the delicious fries with cheese sauce and other vegan snacks are nowhere to be found... I feel misled and cheated. A waste of travel time and scooter rental...

The vegan cheeseburger was a true taste experience—assuming you like total mediocrity. The fries were the real highlight: soggy, greasy, and with a flavor you won't soon forget (unfortunately, not in a good way). Anyone who thought you can't go wrong with fries will be proven wrong here. My tip: If you're hungry for a burger, you'll find something better on almost every street corner.

I've gotten your vegan fries at Bikini Berlin a few times now. They taste great, and the team is always super friendly. But honestly: The portion size is just too big! Yesterday I felt really ripped off! You can't be serious. It costs €4.80, and the bowl was barely half full! I've noticed it before, but this time it was ridiculously small. Sorry, but that just doesn't feel fair. I think you should expect more for that price. Friendliness and good taste aside, in the end, it's all about the right balance! Never again👐🏼

I like this vegan fast food restaurant and have been several times, but today I bought the Beyond Burger and was given an immitadtion patty on my burger. I eat Beyond Meat burgers 2-3 a week including at home and know the taste and texture and this was missing the beyond taste and beyond texture… tasted more like the burger king plant based patty. I dont know if it was mistake or done on purpose, but if I pay for Beyond Meat, I want to eat Beyond. I also have a problem that fast food for 2x people costs 39€ (2x burgers, 1x menu with fries, 2x drinks, 9er Nuggets… Plantbased won’t make mainstream if the prices are more expensive than meat products. I understand why but then there needs to be meal deals or something to help bring price down.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I am vegan and severely lactose intolerant. At the end of the burger (vegan cheeseburger) I started to feel a strong stomach ache and knowing the symptoms by now I went back to them to ask for the allergens in the bread (having already asked for them for the contents of the burger). I was told that the bread is "lactose free". But lactose free does not automatically mean milk free and in fact the bread does have milk! So if you are lactose intolerant, do not eat here. I will never again.

Ketchup isn't included in the menu and costs an extra €0.80 – completely excessive. The meal costs €14.30, even though you can get comparable food elsewhere for €10 or less. The spinach in the cheeseburger is 🤢 (I specifically said no spinach). Plus, the staff don't speak German and communicate exclusively in English – potentially a problem for many guests. Never again

We are used to American burgers, so we know the best quality. The demands are high. In general, the burger quality in Berlin is by far the highest in Germany. This burger here is definitely one of the best in Berlin. The secret sauce is really extremely tasty! The meat was perfect and the bread was nice and fluffy.

According to my companion, the burger was very good, although small. Fries were very good, the coleslaw was ok. Drink was forgotten, but refilled without any problems. The fact that there is no information when the food is available is rather bad if you sit further away due to the space situation.

The vegan options are pretty average, so nothing special. We were able to order straight away and the food was ready in under 10 minutes. Unfortunately the patty and bread from a burger were slightly burnt. In our opinion the menu option is not worth the price.

Simply a good vegan burger. The wraps are also really good. Fries with mayo is all you need. The price performance is also good. From the window seat you can look into the zoo.

I had dinner there with a friend yesterday and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly, we arrived straight away and the food was ready within 5 minutes. We paid €12 per person and for what we got the price was really okay. Gladly again! :)

Great vegan fast food burger. Great if you want to go shopping quickly. Unfortunately, neither the menu nor the otherwise friendly waiter could tell me what the Cheesyburger patty consisted of. I find the term “hamburger patty” to be quite misleading for a vegan burger. It's just because of the fast food concept that you might not want to know exactly. But recommended as a quick soul food snack

The BUNS are NOT VEGAN! Even before they offered meat! Plant-based motto is just not vegan, here you can see the lack of ethical positioning. But beyond that, it's just irresponsible, because if I have an intolerance to dairy products, then I shouldn't have to ask a vegan shop again to see if they're ripping me off.

I love the Cheesy Burger. That's why I go there. I also think it's nice that there are non-vegan burgers too, because that means a few omnivores come along and occasionally try the vegan burger and are usually pleasantly surprised. I get the feeling that the people who work there are often a bit crazy, but they were never unfriendly or anything else bad. All in all: recommendation from my side

Since my last review was requested to be deleted by the owner, here it is again. I was there in the summer and was shocked to discover that it is no longer purely vegan there. This is a step backwards and cross-contamination can no longer be ruled out. If you then consider that the food is rather mediocre and there are no toilets at all, a visit here is no longer recommended.

The food was okay, but the area is very noisy and the seats are often full, so there is limited availability. At Green Burger, the price-performance ratio could be improved, and there is still potential for adjustments in terms of taste.

The selection of creative, vegan burgers is impressive, and the quality of the ingredients is of a very high standard. My favorite was the beyond burger, which had a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The sauces are also fantastic and give the burgers a special touch. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions about the dishes competently. Even though it was busy, the food was served quickly and the atmosphere at Bikini Berlin makes the experience even more enjoyable. An absolute must for vegans and non-vegans alike! Fantastic vegan burgers at Vedang - Green Burger! I visited Vedang - Green Burger at Bikini Berlin and absolutely loved it! The vegan burgers not only taste excellent, but are also prepared with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the beyond Smash Burger - juicy, well seasoned and with fresh ingredients. The concept is sustainable and modern, which I really appreciate. The service was friendly and quick, and the ambience at Bikini Berlin provides a great, relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal. For anyone looking for a delicious and sustainable burger experience, Vedang - Green Burger is an absolute recommendation. I'll definitely be back!

Vedang Vegan is my go-to spot for tasty, plant-based fast food. The Nuggets are my favorite – super crispy and flavorful! The menu has a lot of great options, and the staff is always friendly and quick. It's nice to have a place that makes vegan food so accessible and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Update: Be careful, they started selling meat burgers… but branded as a plant based restaurant! Used to like this place a lot but now they started selling beef burgers despite having “plant based” or “green” as a motto. Absolutely ridiculous and a huge step backwards. I’m not interested anymore. If you want to sell meat, rebrand the company or start over, you’ll loose plenty of customers and some people will accidentally order a meat burger thinking it’s vegan as you claim to be plant based. Hugely disappointed.
