Literally the tastiest asian restaurant in the whole world.

Food was super yummie - but got misgendered and kicked out of the toilet. Even had to open the stall while taking a dump cuz the employee wouldn't stop aggressively banging the door

Dear customers, I am very happy and honored to serve you in my restaurant. Yesterday, I was very dissatisfied because two customers, a man and a woman, were late for dinner. When they went to the restroom, they both went into the same restroom and stayed there for about five minutes. When I noticed this, I asked one person to leave. I asked why the two people had gone into the same restroom. The man said I was not a man. So what were the two people doing there? We have two restrooms for women and one for men. Our restaurant is a business establishment, not a place for people without sense. I hope I don't want to see the two customers from yesterday again. We are sorry that you had an uncomfortable experience. However, we would like to clarify that at that time, two guests — one appearing male and one appearing female — entered the same men's restroom. Our staff simply reminded them of our general policy on hygiene, privacy, and safety, which applies to all customers. If both guests were female, we have two separate women's restrooms available. Having two people together in a men's restroom is considered very inappropriate in our business culture, and we always strive to maintain a respectful and comfortable environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and feedback.

Really delicious, especially the vegan corn dog (it's a little stringy!). There are gluten-free options, a large non-alcoholic beverage selection, and lots of great tapas to share. I wasn't too keen on the beef, but everything else was truly spectacular. You can also order side dishes like rice/rice noodles, etc. The service was friendly and quick, and the decor was beautiful. I would go back anytime. The prices are very reasonable, by the way!

They do not take debit or credit card - another Berlin bar/restaurant trying not to pay taxes. They also charged us for a dish we had not asked for. Food is ok, but Berlin is full of similar options.

Very tasty vegan tapas. The drinks were really good too. Sitting on the wooden chairs for so long was a bit painful after a while.

Very tasty vegan food and a large selection

I ate here yesterday and had a severe allergic reaction. I have serious peanut and tree nut allergies and always make this clear when dining out. This restaurant provides an allergen menu, but it turned out to be completely unreliable: several dishes contained cashew nuts in the sauce, yet none of them were marked as containing nuts. Even after repeatedly asking the staff, they kept insisting there were no nuts in the food. It later turned out the sauce recipe had recently changed to include cashews, but the allergen menu was never updated. The result: I had to use my epipen and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. To make matters worse, the staff did not even seem to understand that cashews are nuts. For a restaurant, this level of ignorance and carelessness regarding allergens is absolutely life-threatening. I strongly urged them to correct their allergen information, because the current situation puts customers in real danger.

Easily one of the best tapas bars I tried in my life. Fast service, really diverse, tasty and balanced tapas. We took 4 including the grune tigerkralle.

Spectacular interior, delicious meals (especially the seitan duck). Flaw of this place is location near the shady park, so I recommend sitting inside.

Super delicious vegan tapas that even meat-eaters won't turn down. We had the mock duck, the BBQ beef, mini spring rolls, spring rolls, and the corn dog. The spring rolls were delicious, even though I've had better. I have to praise the rest even more. The mock duck was super tasty, I've never had the vegan beef so authentic, and then the corn dog... I've been trying all sorts of vegan cheese alternatives for years, from Simoly V to fermented cauliflower, but the cheese in this corn dog was the first one I really enjoyed! Highly recommended, I'll be back anytime!

Tapas were great, the only thing I did not enjoy as much as the rest were the rolls that came with a peanut/coriander/lime sauce and the fried avocado. They lacked a bit of a kick. The rest of the food was amazing though!

Great food in the heart of darkness that is this part of Berlin.

Very fast and fantastic service, the whole team was so nice. The food, especially the vegan seitan duck, is sooo good (not in the photos), and the non-alcoholic drinks are just as good.

Beautiful, good and cheap without pretensions

We had a somewhat mixed experience. We shared a main course and two appetizers. The kimchi was good. The second appetizer, steamed dumplings, was also delicious, but seemed as if they had been kept warm for quite some time. The dumplings were practically stuck to the bamboo basket. The main course wasn't bad, but the rice also seemed as if it had been cooked a long time ago. The vegetables and sauce were tasty, but the fried or pan-fried tofu was tough and sat heavily in my stomach for several hours. I wouldn't go back.

Lovely place, the staff is very helpful and kind. Food was excellent. Toilets clean. Before visiting keep in mind that they only accept cash. ATM is near tho.

The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, the homemade lemonades are incredibly good, and the service is prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, cash only!

Beautiful decor, very zen atmosphere with wooden furniture and even the menu cover is in wood. Really love the tapas concept so you can try different dishes, almost like a dimsum experience. The siu mai and wontons were delicious, flavourful with great texture. The vegetable soup was surprisingly the best dish I got. Tangy a'd savoury with lemongrass.

Very good vegan tapas bar! Some of the starters were a bit bland but otherwise it was a nice twist on tapas and had everything you need!

I was here with my partner on Friday 30.05.2025 and had the most amazing food with the most amazing service! The food was excellent and excellently prepared, the atmosphere sitting outiside was very nice and the girl who served our table was super kind and friendly! :) Thank you for an amazing evening and I cannot wait to come again.

Friendly service and atmosphere. Ate here in a large group last night, 3 people ordered the 59 and 2 of us are so sick. No vomiting but with fever and aches and my digestive system can't even handle a glass of water. Haven't heard from the 3rd. Can the restaurant please look at the 59 ingredients - this is not a good feeling. I think all other dishes were fine.

We've definitely fallen in love! What a gem, an absolute insider tip. The tapas are highly recommended; even if you usually eat seafood and meat, you'll be 100% happy here. We left with such a smile on our faces and perfectly full, and we'll definitely be back. The food and service were charming, wonderful, accommodating, friendly, and simply stunning. We are completely satisfied! And all this at very reasonable tapas prices. A heartfelt recommendation.

Friendly service. >> wouldn't mind if there was another dish with tempeh. But otherwise everything was great! Hope it stays that way!

Very tasty food! The menus are (unnecessarily) intimidating. The pictures are very old and some have been touched up by hand. But otherwise good restaurant.

Super good and extremely tasty. No two dishes are alike. Great cuisine. All in all, a delicious experience. I'm overwhelmed.

Very nice atmosphere and attentive service. The three of us ordered a main course and four tapas plates. A little bit of everything. From seaweed salad, soup, dim sum and wonton etc. everything. The dim sum was so good that we ordered more. The mochis weren't really our thing, they can still be improved. The homemade iced teas are very tasty. Had three different variations. Card payment would have been nice, but it didn't work that evening.

We had several vegan tapas (€5.20 each) and the selection is very large. They were really good. We can highly recommend the mock beef, vegan fried shrimp and vegan duck. I would let the kimchi ferment more (personal taste, but it was also very good)🌈

Seems to be a very nice restaurant, but unfortunately I got food poisoning after a bowl there. There are already a few reviews that had the same problem. It's a shame that the restaurant and the kitchen don't take this to heart and change something.

Absolutely delicious! Very inexpensive, although vegan is often so cheap, high quality food, great selection, nice ambience and courteous service! Extreme recommendation!

There are really great vegan tapas here! I would recommend taking at least 3 per person. We were very hungry and 3 per person was a bit too little. The only irritating thing is the map: we had no idea what was going on. So how much you should order and what is available. There are also full main courses, but you have to judge that from the price as they are partly the same dishes. The presentation of the menu is also not that good. The restaurant itself is super clean and the food looks delicious, but the menu is a bit dingy and the photos of the dishes are very unflattering! A card without pictures would be much better.

Super tasty tapas and main courses... ...highly recommended.

The food was once again very tasty. However, I found 4 things to be unpleasant: 1. The waitress was obviously on her cell phone all the time and did not notice the guests' order requests, 2. The food that was served to us incorrectly was still billed for, even though it was a mistake on the part of the restaurant, 3. We It was not pointed out that only cash payment was possible on that day (up to now we always paid with a card there), 4. A receipt for entertainment could not be issued with several excuses. (We were put off until “next time.”) All in all, unfortunately, a day that won't bring us back there again.

The food is super delicious! Unfortunately the service wasn't good. Card payment and receipt were not possible, but we only found out when we wanted to pay - luckily we had enough cash with us. Something went wrong when ordering, we received a dish that we hadn't ordered. The waitress admitted that this had gone wrong on her part, brought the new dish and asked if we wanted to keep the other one. We agreed to that. I know from other restaurants that if something goes wrong, the restaurant pays for it if they make a mistake and the wrong dish is then free - otherwise it will be thrown away anyway. Unfortunately things were different here, we had to pay for the dish we didn't order - unfortunately this was only communicated when we were checking out. The service was generally not good, the person was busy with his cell phone the whole time and wasn't attentive at all. Conclusion: Delicious food, good service looks different in my opinion.

We had a big group of 8 on a Sat night and the food was outstanding! The spring rolls dumplings and corn dog and iced coffee was all standouts!

I was actually very enthusiastic about the delicious dishes, but I have to agree with the few bad reviews - I couldn't keep the food down for long and I suffered from gastrointestinal problems for two days.

Nothing special to be honest and unfortunately. Food is okay, but nothing really to do with proper Asian taste, service is there, but you don’t have Ambiente or the filling people are happy to welcome you as a guest, the best is probably the interior with the space where you can take off your shoes and sitting on the floor. Wouldn’t recommend it, there are a lot of better places around. Low light - no body told us, that you can’t pay with credit card, so just EC or cash, so we were paying PayPal.

Were there with a larger group. Depending on the dish, the taste of the food ranged from “mhh delicious to mhh not even that good” and everything was there. Service was a bit confusing but always tried hard. Price - performance 🔝

Great combination of vegan and Vietnamese cuisine. Great idea to offer it as tapas. This way you can feast on the menu with several people 🐛. The atmosphere inside seems very authentic. Outside, stop at Kreuzberg.

We loved our tapas at Element Five — so much variety and full of flavour! The dishes were clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients, and the sauces were all delicious. Special mention for the sweet staff who were really polite, and served us quickly :)

Element Five is a pan-Asian vegan tapas restaurant similar to 1990 Vegan Living, albeit just a couple shades away in quality from their Friedrichshain neighbors. We ordered about 5-6 small dishes at a reasonable price & the meal arrived quickly. Service was friendly but curt & it would have been helpful to have been recommended another rice dish in addition to what we already ordered. I personally enjoyed everything we ate, my partner was a little less enthused on a handful of items. Overall I give the food a 4.25/5 & service about the same. Now - if you’re not from Berlin, it’s important to take note that this restaurant is situated on the northwest corner of Gorlitzer Park & the mix of humanity that will approach you while you’re trying to have dinner is good people to say the least!

I had an upset stomach for a long time after eating here once. I decided to never eat in an Asian restaurant again after this experience. I posted a 1-star review about it on Google Maps, which they had removed citing "defamation". This is not fair. On this website, they don't allow the posting of 1-star reviews. I can't recommend anyone eating in a place which I now consider dangerous, and I think that I have the right to post my experience as a consumer, as well as warn other naive people.

Five of us ate there. The food was delicious, but everyone had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea afterwards.

Never again!!! The food tasted really good! Only if everything comes out again after half an hour, something is wrong. I'm not exactly the most sensitive, but that was unpleasant. And with all my companions too. So I can't recommend it under any circumstances unless you feel like detoxing with the help of food poisoning.

The food here is excellent. They really know how to do vegan food. Drinks were freshly made and interesting. We enjoyed it and intended to return on our next trip. We probably will but perhaps not. The down side came on paying. Turns out they only take an EC card, whatever that is. They insisted we either leave ID or one of us stays behind whilst the other goes to the cash point. The nearest cash point charges. No way would either of us leave ID in this day and age so the only option was for one of us to go looking. It was about 10:30pm, we’re both woman and we’re in a city we don’t know. So, it was a crumby end to a good meal. No tip as spent it on the cash machine charges. Had we been made aware of the payment option then we would have both withdrawn cash, together, before sitting down.
