Best Sardinian restaurant in Berlin. Magda and Antonio serve all their guests with great warmth and charm. We come here very often and have never been disappointed.

Da Antonio delighted us. Since the dining room is quite small, reservations are recommended. All the dishes were exquisite and uniquely flavorful! The atmosphere was warm and lively. Those expecting a fancy restaurant might be disappointed. However, those seeking authentic Sardinian cuisine will be rewarded. The prices are a bit higher, but you can taste the quality! A definite recommendation for a cozy evening with friends or family.

A beautiful, authentic restaurant with a very warm and attentive hostess.

Outrageous treatment of us as customers! We had a reservation for 6 pm, and shortly after, customers were already queuing inside by the door, waiting for a free table. A little after 7 pm, we were asked to leave, as the table was needed. Clearly, the owners are incapable of managing their reservations properly. Clearly, they are incapable of understanding what customer service and courtesy mean, or how to achieve them.

Like in Italy, actually even better!

As an Italian, I can say it without hesitation: authentic Italian cuisine in Berlin. Special and fabulous dishes, prepared with excellent ingredients and authentic flavor. The wait staff is kind, attentive, and professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting Antonio, the chef and owner, a special person and, above all, an extraordinary chef. Highly recommended.

This place is full with the Italian soul, traditional and high quality foods. I recommend to book table in time, because as I saw, it runs almost full. That was the best Italian food what I tried in Berlin. Really recommend it!

Very limited seating, so make a reservation, and if you manage to do so, you're guaranteed a unique experience. How can you cook such exquisite food in such a small space with such a small staff? You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about it, and they do it so expertly that you don't really want to tell anyone how good this restaurant is so you can keep it all to yourself. There are plenty of places in Charlottenburg where Italian food is served; I don't know of any where it tastes better. The food is excellent and the wine is amazing; this place will leave you speechless.

Da Antonio is a top-quality Italian restaurant with excellent traditional cuisine, a restaurant unique in its category and that has nothing to do with the now often standardized Italian restaurants. The appetizer is excellent and - just to name two other dishes - Antonio's handmade tortellacci stuffed with ossobuco are a dream! And when I tasted the wild fennel on the octopus carpaccio with artichokes I had a flash that took me back in time, comparable to the reaction of Anton Ego, the food critic in the cartoon film Ratatouille, when he tried the dish that brought him back to the genuine and familiar flavors of childhood. Antonio's cuisine exceeded my expectations. The environment is equally pleasant. Small, familiar, warm. You forget about the big road outside, where the restaurant is located, and immediately have the feeling of being in a trattoria in a Mediterranean village, where time stands still and people let themselves be carried away by the lightness of life. This is also thanks to Magdalena, Antonio's wife who with her Greek hospitality and her kind ways makes the stay in the restaurant an unforgettable and warm event. Thank you.

Super delicious food/ MAGDALENA is the soul of the restaurant, she is always in a good mood and friendly no matter how many people she has to serve. ANTONIO is a gifted cook; every dish that comes out of his small kitchen is a delight. The restaurant is small and cramped, and at peak times it is impossible to get a table unless you reserve it in advance. Once you sit down, life pulsates around you like in a typical trattoria, only Magdalena reminds me a little of Greece when she speaks Greek to me. An Italian restaurant...well Sardinian which offers succulent cuisine in a warm decor. A very friendly welcome and a special mention for Donato who knows how to advise customers very well and knows his menu perfectly.

The food is delicious and partly pleasantly original, not just standard dishes (e.g. there is no pizza). The service is friendly and the atmosphere in the relatively small restaurant (be sure to reserve in advance!) is classic and rustic. I always feel very comfortable here, a real 'favorite Italian' in Charlottenburg.

The food was simply outstanding! Everything from antipasti, sea bass and beetroot tagliatelle with venison ragout were a taste explosion! The owners were also very welcoming. A great discovery in Berlin! We would love to come back!

Das Essen, vor allem die Pasta Herichte sind sehr lecker, die Weinauswahl ebenso, die Trattoria ist klein und ein Sammelsurium an Devotionalien von Trickots über Christbaumkugeln. Der Service ist knapp besetzt dauert manchmal etwas aber dabei sehr freundlich, absolut eine Empfehlung

If you ignore the ambience, it's quite ok. Food is delicious, the two ladies are friendly and the toilet is clean. However, there is an absolute train station atmosphere in the restaurant, you sit very close together with other guests and it takes a really long time for the food to arrive, not to mention the broken dishes. For us it is not worth another visit.

Pistachio tiramisu is light and so delicious. Beforehand, depending on the weather, minestrone, fine broth with fresh and tasty vegetables and in between the linguine with fresh artichokes. Antonio and Magda have this good cuisine. Yes, it is crowded and cramped in the restaurant because this is where the good life and joie de vivre find their place. The perfect place to enjoy and relax. THANK YOU😘

We have been going to Antonio for years and enjoy his authentic Italian/Sardinian cuisine. In addition to the small standard map, there are changing Primi and Secondi on the black board, presented by the warm magda at the table. When it comes to pasta dishes, the pasta with bottarga and shrimp is particularly recommended en. Meat and fish is always fresh and is often served with unusual vegetables. The Sardinian house wine is delicious and cheap. Small restaurant with outdoor seating on a busy street. Be sure to reserve.

We reserved almost 3 weeks in advance. The tone in the restaurant was quite harsh. It was claimed that there was no reservation. After repeated inquiries and requests for proof, the name was finally found in the notebook. Despite a reservation, there was no free table. But supposedly one would be available “in 5 minutes.” Then it was too colorful for us and we left. All in all, a pretty unfriendly reception. At least an apology would have been appropriate at this point. We actually wanted to celebrate our anniversary here and came from outside. Then we lost additional time looking for an alternative on Friday evening. So I can't say anything about the food - we'll probably never find out how good it is because we won't be coming back.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant war ein super Erlebnis! Wir haben uns wie bei einem Besuch in einer Familie gefühlt. Stets umsorgt, lecker bekocht und immer aufmerksam bedient. Und wir haben, wie viele andere Besucher, tolle Gespräche mit vollkommen fremden Personen gefühlt. So eine tolle Atmosphäre findet man heute kaum noch. Ganz vielen Dank!

Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food. We reserved a table at 8 p.m. and left after waiting 40 minutes. During this time we stood around with other people in the uncomfortable entrance area without being noticed by the service staff. We won't go to this restaurant again.

Antonio and his wonderful wife Magdalena have been running this small Sardinian restaurant with love and warm hospitality for years. The boss is in the kitchen every evening and the lady of the house is responsible for the great service. The pasta is homemade and everything is shot and processed using game itself. My recommendation: the grilled cuttlefish on beluga lentils as a starter and Sardinian entrècôte as a main course. But in general there is no dish that doesn't leave a sparkle in your eyes. I recommend reserving at least a week in advance.

Excellent authentic Sardinian cuisine

The kind of very traditional family owned restaurant with very good quality food. Linguine Vangole, pasta with truffle, carpaccio di manso, you name it. The people are lovely and friendly. I'd say you should make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a table as it is a small place. At the end, they offer some drink (limoncello, amaretto, etc).

During our Berlin trip we were lucky enough to discover this wonderful trattoria. It was the best "Italian" in a long time, excellent food, at least 10 stars and a very friendly boss who was very happy about our compliment. We would also like to mention the super delicious bread with olives that was there to start with.

The food was really delicious. Well seasoned, cooked to perfection and absolutely authentic. The wine fit 100% and was a good recommendation. The staff was absolutely worthy of a trattoria. Nice, quick and careful. Always the feeling of belonging to the family. The ambience is also trattoria. Everything fit perfectly here.

We always enjoy coming here. Starters, main courses and desserts are always a pleasure. The atmosphere is warm. It is advisable to make a reservation because the restaurant is very busy.

Very manageable trattoria (approx. 30 seats); hence a nice “community feeling”. The food is very authentic and of very good quality without any restrictions. Plus Ichnusa beer and wine from the island; The service was very attentive and had “everything under control”. The price/performance ratio can be described as very good for Berlin standards.

Der Abend begann wunderbar, netter Service, sehr gute Vorspeisen, leckerer Wein und tolle Hauptgerichte. Als wir dann gern noch ein Glas Wein und ein Dessert gehabt hätten, wurde uns erst im Vorbeigehen zugeraunt, dass der Tisch jetzt gebraucht wird, nach weiteren 10 Minuten gaben wir dann noch einmal ein Zeichen, dass wir gern noch ein Dessert hätten, kam ein anderer Kellner und sagte, dass das zu spät sei, der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden für uns reserviert wäre, das wäre ja überall so und stünde auch auf der Internetseite so. Dort hab ich bis heute keinen Hinweis darauf gefunden, auch in der Bestätigungsmail kein Wort davon. Man brachte uns dann die Rechnung und meinte, mit Espresso oder Grappa aufs Haus wäre das ok. Dieser Rausschmiss hat uns den Abend gründlich verdorben - man hätte ja auch einmal auf das nahende Ende der Zeit hinweisen können und ob wir vielleicht noch einen Wunsch hätten. Der Grundtenor war: wir hätten nicht gelesen, dass es nur für 2 h war, bezahl und geh! Garantiert nie wieder - so schade, bei der wirklich guten Küche.

It's a small place and was very busy. They were quite friendly and there is a man who speaks English, who was helpful. I had the black truffle pasta....I think I died and went to heaven! It was lovely. The other patrons had different plates and looked equally happy!

Tolle Vorspeise, Pasta und Antipasti hervorragend, dann die überbackene Scholle ein Traum. Leider das Kalbfilet etwas zu lange in der Pfanne und das Gemüse nahezu ungewürzt. Bedienung sehr gut, Platzangebot und Stühle befriedigend. Auch 4,5 Sterne wären angemessen, aber es ist schon ausbaufähig!
