Really a great restaurant, very nice atmosphere...just to feel good! The operators really thought about it. When it comes to service you can see the passion for this job/vocation, keep this. Anyone who likes a good wine is in good hands there, thanks to the sommelier!!! Now to the food... there, too, the passion is literally to taste, rarely eaten so well. Thank you for this lovely evening that we were able to spend there with family.

An absolute recommendation, they know what they are doing

We had booked a table for a New Year's Eve celebration. We had promised friends: It would be great because we thought we knew the restaurant. Then the fiasco: “We close at 10 p.m.!” Apparently that was known! But we had just asked again by phone: "It's okay, we're not having a big party, but you'll be happy!" The second disappointment: Shortly before 10 p.m., while we were still having drinks, the table had already been cleared! That doesn't work at all! We have been there often for about 4 years! But: You can't go there anymore! Terrible!

Great location, very friendly staff, fresh and tasty dishes. What you can feel here is a passion for modern, but solid Berlin cuisine from a young, fresh team! Strong!

Very cozy location with a great ambience and excellent food

Very good, somewhat upscale restaurant. The menu is manageable with small refinements. Perfect service, very friendly staff. Good wine advice. Outdoor area very tasteful, small fireplace, benches with blankets (as a smoker you don't have to stand in front of a musty outdoor ashtray in the corner in front of the door).

Update: Today we were in the harbor kitchen again. The food, the service, the drinks... Everything is simply excellent. The wine recommendation was absolutely perfect. The portions were more than sufficient and sometimes really too big. I will definitely come back many more times. For anyone who complains about the prices afterwards: please check the menu beforehand. All prices can be viewed there. Of course, Hafenküche is not a cheap restaurant. However, the prices are more than reasonable in relation to the quality! First review: Today we went to the harbor kitchen for a little evening snack. It was as expected, simply excellent. The food is fresh and tastes absolutely excellent. The service was beyond reproach and even the boss took the time to talk to us and make personal recommendations regarding wine and food. We will definitely come back many more times!!!

We celebrated our Christmas party with 60 people in the fireplace room. The vegetarian menu was very well coordinated and every single course was very tasty. The staff was super friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Very professional and relaxed at the same time. The atmosphere was very nice and the tables were nicely set. The time between courses was a bit long and could be optimized, but that is criticism at a high level. I would definitely recommend the Hafenküche as an event location.

Very expensive breakfast with cheap cheese. Without tomatoes, fruit etc. We wanted only cheese instead of sausage and cheese.. and received... without asking, vegetarian sausage and slices of cheese.. some salmon.. only the rolls were fresh.. otherwise a rip-off for €22.. without egg or orange juice.... That's why it was so empty Definitely not recommended for breakfast... Well

Unfindable if you don't know, fine before or after a visit to Dark Matter

We had reserved a table and said we were bringing a dog, so we got a round table with low chairs so the dog could lie nice and close to us. The service was attentive and suggested a break between snacks and dinner so we could finish the drinks before the wine. The food was of the finest quality. We got crown of lamb and blackfoot Presa with potato gratin, rosemary sauce and a side salad and 2 espressos. They have amazing cocktails by the way.

This place is nice and invites you to linger. The food is also very good, but the prices are quite high. Unfortunately, the service had everything from very friendly to extremely unfriendly. Unfortunately, the communication on the line is not really good.

A very nice restaurant, located directly at the boat harbor. We were there for a wedding. Everything went smoothly - perfectly organized. The food was varied and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic! It was my first time in the harbor kitchen canteen. It was explained to me how the food distribution works (it's really quite simple), the food was fresh and exceptionally tasty and the terrace was so inviting that after eating I sat down somewhere else and just enjoyed the sun have. I felt welcome at all times. At the food distribution I even stood in line with two guests who come regularly and also bring a container with them to take the food with them to the office when there is no time to stop by. So if that's not a quality feature...

Very cool and hip location. Nice service staff. Tasty and good homemade drinks. The food was slightly oversalted on the day I visited, but that could have been due to the day.

All dishes on offer are very fatty and some come from the deep fryer. Both of these no longer have to be the case these days. Docking with the boat works wonderfully, but in the future I'd rather continue driving.

It's a bit hidden, but easy to find. Nice and quiet, at least on Fridays and weekends. Restaurant, also with outdoor area, view of the water is limited. The upper deck, with an awning for shady places, offers a view of the water and the jetties. Food good, but a bit overpriced. Service is very expandable! The last time I had to wait at the entrance for almost 10 minutes only to find out that there were no tables available (event). That's okay, but one of the eight other employees could have told me that earlier. Parking spaces available.

Really unfriendly waiter guy, just because you were a few minutes late despite prior notice. The way you deal with customers here is only possible in Germany. How unkind and intolerant can you be? It's not possible to tease customers. Such service and spending money on it 🤦‍♂️ really ruined our evening. No recommendation, please don't go there! Neither the ambience, service nor food and drinks are worth it. Simply a poorly managed restaurant. To the restaurant: calmly try to delete the comment with lawyers, cowardly people.

Very, very nice atmosphere and great food - but unfortunately there is nothing left to eat in the evening (after 8 p.m.). This is not nice for water hikers.

The restaurant boss Mathias gave us a very warm welcome. The menu is very colorful. We decided on a starter, main course and dessert. Everything was beautifully created and the staff were very caring and friendly. The food tasted excellent and then there was the wonderful ambience, the location right on the water. Simply perfect. I would come back at any time if I visit Berlin.

Really a nice location and a great location. The two of us had a good spot with a view of the water and ships. And we know that something like this always has a slight impact on the price, and that's generally ok. But for the quality of the food it's a bit over the top for us. At least the vegetables were too spicy or too much soy and the fish fillet was fried too crispy on the skin. And creme brulee almost cold? Service is good. It's a bit irritating when we're served by four people after just under 90 minutes of stay. You can do it, but in our opinion you shouldn't do it. Conclusion: It's worth it if you're around the corner. Going there from the center of Berlin? Rather not

We had reserved a table in the restaurant on the occasion of a birthday on a warm summer evening and were hoping for a bit of flair. The furnishings seem high quality and the service was poor, but the location is pretty miserable. Although the harbor is not far from the restaurant, you can still see a huge parking lot and the center of a bus company. You couldn't really see anything of the Spree or the harbor when you were in the restaurant. The food was okay but overall it was too expensive. Overall no recommendation!

I was a guest at a larger private event and felt very comfortable in this special location. The service was unobtrusive and very attentive, the food was delicious. There was a separate area for the celebration in which the individual evening program could be implemented. A successful evening.

There were three of us here for dinner. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but nicely located. The ambience is good. The food, for me a Rummelsburger, was okay, but nothing special. Above all, the price (26.50 euros, including fries) is not appropriate. The service was generally nice, but the requests for repeat orders were a little too frequent. Therefore overall a good 3 stars.

We were wedding guests in this fantastic location. Everything was right and couldn't have been better! Perfect grill buffet, great bar service, quick and super nice employees until the early hours of the morning. There's nothing to complain about here, it couldn't be better.

The restaurant offers a very nice atmosphere and a very nice staff. However, the price-performance ratio fits in my opinion. not at all. The food is ok, but not great (compared to the price) the portions are very small and if everything has to be ordered separately, then please do so so that you don't have to order these mini portions twice. Very unfortunate.

A very nice restaurant with a great ambience. The service was top and very friendly. The map is clear and very attractive. The view of the water is not clear, but there is still a bit of a holiday feeling. All in all, a clear recommendation.

Waiting time a little too long. :-/ Dishes are nice and food is tasty, but the hot chocolate needs improvement. I like the furnishings, unfortunately everything is a bit overpriced overall, but okay. You probably also pay for the location.

It is a waterfront event location. A small marina is part of it. I only got to know it at a closed company, I don't know what it's like here.

Open from 9 a.m., the entire restaurant is empty. However, you still need a reservation for breakfast for two people. No thanks, I'd rather go somewhere else.

Super disappointing restaurant visit. The prices were super overpriced for food that simply lacked everything in terms of taste. It really tasted incredibly boring considering it was so expensive, a real shame (a simple burger with frozen fries for €25). The service was also quite confusing and sometimes brought the wrong orders at the wrong times. The ambience was quite nice and at least it wasn't so loud that you could have a good conversation, hence 2 stars. But I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic harbor scenery and excellent service We had a wonderful evening in the harbor kitchen. The atmosphere on the terrace right by the water is simply fantastic. You can enjoy the evening sun and the view of the boats in the marina while enjoying delicious food and drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt well looked after from the first moment. The service was always attentive and gave us great recommendations. Both the Aperol Spritz and the Currywurst were delicious. The harbor kitchen is a real highlight for a beautiful summer evening in Berlin. We will definitely be back soon and can highly recommend the restaurant. Five stars for the great experience!

A nice place to linger in the afternoon with a terrace overlooking the Spree. Very polite service. We only had a drink, but even the french fries for the children were of very good quality. We will definitely come back for dinner.

A good place to spend a whole day. We were very well looked after. First in the Birrgarten, later in the restaurant. The food was a complete success and the ambience in the nice weather by the lake did the rest. Thank you! We'd love to come back.

Everything was great, but since I wasn't that hungry, I only ordered an appetizer. This was then served to me as a main course without any notice and was charged at almost double the price. I didn't think that was that good. Just one starter is probably not enough sales. That doesn't work at all.

We had a wedding and it was amazing!!! The service was outstanding!!! Everyone was super friendly and attentive! The food was also very good, the best was the Tafelspitz, really a poem!!!! The spinach dumpling with cheese was also great, I think two of them will fill you up! There was a big celebration there for everything. Can just be recommended!!!

I have to be honest, I'm angry, so angry I could have a stroke. I paid €50 for my order to be taken and served incorrectly and the food to be crap. Tastes . We couldn't even eat half of our food, it was that bad. I would never recommend it and never go there again. But one star because the workers were nice and friendly.

Great location, barrier-free. We were there on Saturday lunchtime. The service was super friendly, professional and unobtrusive. This is how I want service. Unfortunately, the food falls significantly short. Portion size OK but the fish soup was too thin, not enough ingredients and no intense fish taste. A pumpkin soup that should be like curry but tastes nothing like pumpkin. Drinks prices reasonable and very good selection of drinks. When eating, I would like more flavor and spice. Please pay attention to the quality, taste and consistency of your ambitious prices. We will definitely come back again because of the service, accessibility and the location itself. But unfortunately your dishes didn't convince us. Well, there were two kitchen professionals/cooks among us. 🫣

Update March 19, 2024 I am absolutely thrilled. What an incredibly beautiful atmosphere. Incredibly attentive service. I am at a loss for words. And the food was just incredibly good. We had such a fantastic evening that we will rave about for a long time. Always beautiful and alone, the location on Rummelsburger Bay invites you to linger in the summer.

Very cool restaurant, the harbor kitchen impressed me with its very down-to-earth but also very tasty cuisine, the interior design is very modern, the restaurant has an outdoor area that is located directly on a small harbor on the Spree, very suitable for beautiful summer evenings. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating. I had a very good and especially large veal schnitzel for a very reasonable price (25€) And my girlfriend had grilled eggplant, which was also very tasty and presented in a very modern way. I can only recommend everyone to stop by in the summer, perfect for date nights.

Whenever we have “child-free time,” we eat here. Nothing is missing in the harbor kitchen, great food, perfect service, modern yet cozy location right on the water... The chic beer garden is also always worth a visit. Thank you so much for existing and for doing such a great job, because here you just know that you will have the perfect “date night” and that is especially important when you can no longer go out as a couple often. Keep it up!!!! P.S.: Before Freddy and Mathias took over, I wasn't a fan of the harbor kitchen and I can understand the bad old reviews.

Extremely great restaurant! The ambience in winter and summer is amazing. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The cuisine is varied and definitely worth the price. Wir waren am 25.12.23 zu Gast. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Freundliche Bedienung mit einem gewissen Charme. Wir hatten uns für das 4 Gänge Menü entschieden. Leider mussten wir zu den neuen Gängen neues Besteck anfordern. Das der Kellner jedoch sofort brachte. Getränke und Essen waren super.
