Creating an ambience in a business park is not easy, nor is bringing the food up to standard. We managed to offer really good food here. The restaurant is equipped to a high standard. The very friendly service makes you feel very welcome here. The harbor kitchen helps to introduce this harbor to the mixed commercial area. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a fish restaurant for lunch during the week, and Hafenküche popped up on Google... Unfortunately, they only serve fish on the evening menu. So we managed to get some very good canteen food at a very reasonable price.

Great place to chill out in peace on the Spree with coffee or a drink. Price slightly above Berlin standards, but definitely appropriate for the beautiful location. During the day there is chillout music - 0.1l wine for 5€

Price-performance was absolutely not right for us. We ordered the burger. Absolutely not a highlight for 25.00 euros. Frozen fries, no decoration, really nothing that justifies the price. If you want to offer an upscale ambience and charge the prices for it, then that must also be reflected in the food. Our companion saw it the same way. The service was friendly, there were enough of them, but sometimes it was slow.

We've eaten here several times now and would love to come back. The restaurant is not exactly easy to reach, but the location on the Spree with a view of the Plänterwald, Treptower Park and the adjacent marina is something. Especially when you can sit on the terrace in summer. Plus, parking is never a problem. The service is always attentive and courteous. Sometimes it takes a while for the orders to arrive. The food is high quality and very well prepared. Arranging it on the plates is also well received. Regardless of whether it was the Wiener Schnitzel or the Rummelsburger, everything has tasted very good so far.

Really a great restaurant, very nice atmosphere...just to feel good! The operators really thought about it. When it comes to service you can see the passion for this job/vocation, keep this. Anyone who likes a good wine is in good hands there, thanks to the sommelier!!! Now to the food... there, too, the passion is literally to taste, rarely eaten so well. Thank you for this lovely evening that we were able to spend there with family.

An absolute recommendation, they know what they are doing

We had booked a table for a New Year's Eve celebration. We had promised friends: It would be great because we thought we knew the restaurant. Then the fiasco: “We close at 10 p.m.!” Apparently that was known! But we had just asked again by phone: "It's okay, we're not having a big party, but you'll be happy!" The second disappointment: Shortly before 10 p.m., while we were still having drinks, the table had already been cleared! That doesn't work at all! We have been there often for about 4 years! But: You can't go there anymore! Terrible!

Great location, very friendly staff, fresh and tasty dishes. What you can feel here is a passion for modern, but solid Berlin cuisine from a young, fresh team! Strong!

Very cozy location with a great ambience and excellent food

We celebrated our Christmas party with 60 people in the fireplace room. The vegetarian menu was very well coordinated and every single course was very tasty. The staff was super friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Very professional and relaxed at the same time. The atmosphere was very nice and the tables were nicely set. The time between courses was a bit long and could be optimized, but that is criticism at a high level. I would definitely recommend the Hafenküche as an event location.

Update: Today we were in the harbor kitchen again. The food, the service, the drinks... Everything is simply excellent. The wine recommendation was absolutely perfect. The portions were more than sufficient and sometimes really too big. I will definitely come back many more times. For anyone who complains about the prices afterwards: please check the menu beforehand. All prices can be viewed there. Of course, Hafenküche is not a cheap restaurant. However, the prices are more than reasonable in relation to the quality! First review: Today we went to the harbor kitchen for a little evening snack. It was as expected, simply excellent. The food is fresh and tastes absolutely excellent. The service was beyond reproach and even the boss took the time to talk to us and make personal recommendations regarding wine and food. We will definitely come back many more times!!!

Very good, somewhat upscale restaurant. The menu is manageable with small refinements. Perfect service, very friendly staff. Good wine advice. Outdoor area very tasteful, small fireplace, benches with blankets (as a smoker you don't have to stand in front of a musty outdoor ashtray in the corner in front of the door).

Very expensive breakfast with cheap cheese. Without tomatoes, fruit etc. We wanted only cheese instead of sausage and cheese.. and received... without asking, vegetarian sausage and slices of cheese.. some salmon.. only the rolls were fresh.. otherwise a rip-off for €22.. without egg or orange juice.... That's why it was so empty Definitely not recommended for breakfast... Well

Unfindable if you don't know, fine before or after a visit to Dark Matter

We had reserved a table and said we were bringing a dog, so we got a round table with low chairs so the dog could lie nice and close to us. The service was attentive and suggested a break between snacks and dinner so we could finish the drinks before the wine. The food was of the finest quality. We got crown of lamb and blackfoot Presa with potato gratin, rosemary sauce and a side salad and 2 espressos. They have amazing cocktails by the way.

Fantastic! It was my first time in the harbor kitchen canteen. It was explained to me how the food distribution works (it's really quite simple), the food was fresh and exceptionally tasty and the terrace was so inviting that after eating I sat down somewhere else and just enjoyed the sun have. I felt welcome at all times. At the food distribution I even stood in line with two guests who come regularly and also bring a container with them to take the food with them to the office when there is no time to stop by. So if that's not a quality feature...

All dishes on offer are very fatty and some come from the deep fryer. Both of these no longer have to be the case these days. Docking with the boat works wonderfully, but in the future I'd rather continue driving.

Really unfriendly waiter guy, just because you were a few minutes late despite prior notice. The way you deal with customers here is only possible in Germany. How unkind and intolerant can you be? It's a bit hidden, but easy to find. Nice and quiet, at least on Fridays and weekends. Restaurant, also with outdoor area, view of the water is limited. The upper deck, with an awning for shady places, offers a view of the water and the jetties. Food good, but a bit overpriced. Service is very expandable! The last time I had to wait at the entrance for almost 10 minutes only to find out that there were no tables available (event). That's okay, but one of the eight other employees could have told me that earlier. Parking spaces available.

Really a nice location and a great location. The two of us had a good spot with a view of the water and ships. And we know that something like this always has a slight impact on the price, and that's generally ok. But for the quality of the food it's a bit over the top for us. At least the vegetables were too spicy or too much soy and the fish fillet was fried too crispy on the skin. And creme brulee almost cold? Service is good. It's a bit irritating when we're served by four people after just under 90 minutes of stay. You can do it, but in our opinion you shouldn't do it. Conclusion: It's worth it if you're around the corner. Going there from the center of Berlin? Rather not

The restaurant boss Mathias gave us a very warm welcome. The menu is very colorful. We decided on a starter, main course and dessert. Everything was beautifully created and the staff were very caring and friendly. The food tasted excellent and then there was the wonderful ambience, the location right on the water. Simply perfect. I would come back at any time if I visit Berlin.

We had reserved a table in the restaurant on the occasion of a birthday on a warm summer evening and were hoping for a bit of flair. The furnishings seem high quality and the service was poor, but the location is pretty miserable. Although the harbor is not far from the restaurant, you can still see a huge parking lot and the center of a bus company. You couldn't really see anything of the Spree or the harbor when you were in the restaurant. The food was okay but overall it was too expensive. Overall no recommendation!

I was a guest at a larger private event and felt very comfortable in this special location. The service was unobtrusive and very attentive, the food was delicious. There was a separate area for the celebration in which the individual evening program could be implemented. A successful evening.

We were wedding guests in this fantastic location. Everything was right and couldn't have been better! Perfect grill buffet, great bar service, quick and super nice employees until the early hours of the morning. There's nothing to complain about here, it couldn't be better.

There were three of us here for dinner. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but nicely located. The ambience is good. The food, for me a Rummelsburger, was okay, but nothing special. Above all, the price (26.50 euros, including fries) is not appropriate. The service was generally nice, but the requests for repeat orders were a little too frequent. Therefore overall a good 3 stars.

The restaurant offers a very nice atmosphere and a very nice staff. However, the price-performance ratio fits in my opinion. not at all. The food is ok, but not great (compared to the price) the portions are very small and if everything has to be ordered separately, then please do so so that you don't have to order these mini portions twice. Very unfortunate.

Super disappointing restaurant visit. The prices were super overpriced for food that simply lacked everything in terms of taste. It really tasted incredibly boring considering it was so expensive, a real shame (a simple burger with frozen fries for €25). The service was also quite confusing and sometimes brought the wrong orders at the wrong times. The ambience was quite nice and at least it wasn't so loud that you could have a good conversation, hence 2 stars. But I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic harbor scenery and excellent service We had a wonderful evening in the harbor kitchen. The atmosphere on the terrace right by the water is simply fantastic. You can enjoy the evening sun and the view of the boats in the marina while enjoying delicious food and drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt well looked after from the first moment. The service was always attentive and gave us great recommendations. Both the Aperol Spritz and the Currywurst were delicious. The harbor kitchen is a real highlight for a beautiful summer evening in Berlin. We will definitely be back soon and can highly recommend the restaurant. Five stars for the great experience!

A nice place to linger in the afternoon with a terrace overlooking the Spree. Very polite service. We only had a drink, but even the french fries for the children were of very good quality. We will definitely come back for dinner.

Everything was great, but since I wasn't that hungry, I only ordered an appetizer. This was then served to me as a main course without any notice and was charged at almost double the price. I didn't think that was that good. Just one starter is probably not enough sales. That doesn't work at all.

The spinach dumpling with cheese was also great, I think two of them will fill you up! There was a big celebration there for everything. Can just be recommended!!!

I have to be honest, I'm angry, so angry I could have a stroke. I paid €50 for my order to be taken and served incorrectly and the food to be crap. Tastes . We couldn't even eat half of our food, it was that bad. I would never recommend it and never go there again. But one star because the workers were nice and friendly.
