A lovely ambiance, very friendly service, and delicious food. A relaxed atmosphere is created, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the hectic pace of everyday life.

Prices were significantly increased for the portions we received... Service and presentation were excellent.

We went there for dinner on Boxing Day. It was delicious, especially the duck tortellini and the chestnut gnocchi! The accompanying drinks were also excellent! Very cozy atmosphere and great service!!! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

A superb Christmas menu with trout tartare, tender duck with delicious dumplings, and apple dessert. The Riesling and Ornelleia were also excellent.

Before the renovation, I honestly found it a bit cozier – now it's more modern, but has lost some of its charm. The lunch menu varies. There are always a few standard dishes available. In most cases, you need to make a reservation for dinner.

Highly recommended for corporate events. We were a group of about 40 people. A fantastic buffet awaited us. I can only recommend it; the atmosphere was great, and getting there and back by public transport or car was easy, even in the evening.

A really nice location and restaurant vibe. The food I would say was quite average. Do not get me wrong, it was tasty but it was also like 20€ for an ordinary burger. A weird concept though as well, felt like it would be a lot more fish and seafood, but the menu really portrayed a very varied selection of burgers, schnitzel, a bit of fish, pasta. Strange somehow for a place which has "harbour" in its name. I think it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Maybe I am harsh? Anyways great wines!

You can book the Hafenküche as a regular meal or as a group. Those who come as a regular will have to wait until they are assigned a seat. The staff is very friendly and serve quickly. The flat white is, unfortunately, just a simple coffee from a fully automatic machine. The kitchen is very clean and well-equipped. The schnitzels were freshly breaded to order. Great attention is paid to the presentation of the food. It's probably usually quite quiet. However, if a group has booked the Hafenküche, the noise level will be correspondingly high, as there is no separate room.

I booked catering for my birthday at a club with Hafenküche. For the planning, I had a personal meeting beforehand where I could discuss all the details and requests with the chef. Because the venue didn't have enough seating, the food was portioned into small, easy-to-handle pieces and served in glasses. All my requests were taken into account. The cuisine was beautifully presented, modern, and creative. My guests were thrilled! Thank you to the Hafenküche team!

The location, right on the water, is truly beautiful, and the food was a very pleasant surprise – delicious and prepared with love. Unfortunately, the service wasn't quite up to scratch: The staff seemed a bit inattentive and at times overwhelmed. A particularly critical issue was that the vegan burger couldn't be clearly distinguished from the meat burger – much more care would be needed here. Conclusion: The food is definitely worth a visit, but the service still needs improvement.

The food was undoubtedly good. However, the value for money was not at all right... €144 for three main courses and fewer drinks. At that price, you should expect professional service, not a server who forgets half of what you're saying, whose voice is hard to hear, and then makes fun of the guests. What a shame... we probably went there for the last time.

A bit hidden away, but a definite must-visit for this part of Berlin. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by. Great location, great drinks, great food. And the best part is the view of the water.

We had planned a summer party and wanted to use the barbecue area. It rained heavily and continuously that day, and it was windy. Despite the weather conditions (15 degrees Celsius), we were told we couldn't cancel and that we should have had a barbecue in this weather. They didn't even refund our money as a gesture of goodwill. Very disappointing.

The Hafenküche impresses with its prominent location directly on the water and its creative, modern, and cozy design. A beautiful view and comfortable, attractive tables and seating areas. The service is attentive, dedicated, and very friendly. However, the cuisine doesn't entirely inspire, and in keeping with the overall impressive character of this establishment, one would hope for further progress and improvements in the future. The menu itself is appealing and varied, but the dishes are not entirely convincing in terms of craftsmanship and quality. It was noticeable that all of the dishes, whether starters, sides, or main courses, were only moderately seasoned. Many components seemed bland and failed to fully showcase their flavors. A prime example of this is the steak tartare, which was unfortunately very firm and lacking in flavor, and even the added artichokes and olives failed to create a successful interplay of flavors. Unfortunately, it is also to be assumed that some of the grilled side dishes are based on convenience. The mixed mushrooms and the tahini cauliflower were noticeably watery and bland, and the grilled vegetables had a sour note, suggesting, to our great surprise, that they had been soured before preparation. Both cheeseburgers we ordered were raw inside and unseasoned or unsalted. The meat quality was otherwise mixed; the pork tomahawk was well prepared, but unfortunately also completely unsalted, and the entrecôte lacked the desired juiciness. The sauces served with the grilled dishes were largely convincing. The miso pointed cabbage and the piri-piri chicken were also very successful. The chocolate mousse also deserves special mention, although due to the type of chocolate used, it has a certain sourness that you have to like. All in all, a passable experience with certain weaknesses. Based on our impressions, the Hafenküche team lacks a trained chef who understands the successful and balanced coordination of the dishes on offer. We will give the Hafenküche another chance at some point, but unfortunately we are not entirely convinced by the gastronomic performance at the moment.

We celebrated our wedding in June with around 50 guests at the Hafenküche – and couldn't have asked for a better location! From the very beginning, communication with the team was quick, uncomplicated, and welcoming. On the day itself, everything ran smoothly: The staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. The waiters always kept an eye on our guests, actively helped set up and later helped with the dismantling – simply fantastic! The food was also outstanding – exactly as we had hoped. A huge thank you to Mathias and the entire Hafenküche team for this unforgettable day!

The ambiance is inviting. In summer, you can even dine outside with a view of the water. Unfortunately, the food selection in the cafeteria has been declining lately. That's why I don't go here for lunch as often anymore.

I've been to the Hafenküche many times, but this weekend was my first time as a guest at a wedding. Everything went wonderfully. The service was superbly attentive. The food was as good as ever. A wonderful evening with a beautiful view of Rummelsburg Bay.

A few minor things could definitely be improved for this standard and price level. Unfortunately, the first wine wasn't well chilled, and refilling the second bottle was a bit neglected. The meat wasn't cooked to perfection either. That's just fine as feedback. A free espresso would have been a nice gesture. Still, it was nice, tasty, and friendly. We'd be happy to return. 😊

For me, Hafenküche is one of the most beautiful places in Berlin—right on the Spree, with a relaxed atmosphere and great food. The cuisine is international with a subtle Austrian touch, always creative and to the point. The wine selection, especially from Austria, is excellent. But what really makes the visit special is the host, Mathias: attentive, warm, and with a genuine passion for hospitality. He has built an incredibly great team—everyone is extremely friendly, attentive, and exudes a positive atmosphere unlike any other Berlin restaurant I've experienced.

The food was good, but unfortunately not good enough for the price. The presentation was uninspired and unimaginative. No bread was offered with the soup or salad. The crème brûlée was supermarket quality. The ice cream was watery. The ambiance was more like that of a cafeteria. And I've seen nicer ones. At first, we were offered a table at couch height. How could anyone possibly sit and eat there? Our request for a change was granted. Excellent! Overall, though, a mixed experience. The value, as a combination of ambiance, quality of food, and presentation, doesn't justify the price. What a shame.

This place deserves more than 5 stars! The first impression is very stylish, sophisticated, and pleasant. The first Aperol on the Spreedeck by the water was good... but the food from the Hafenküche leaves you searching for new words to describe it. The asparagus soup by the glass... extremely good! The fjord trout tataki, however, was just about the best fish you can imagine... the combination with a wasabi and cucumber reduction... definitely again! The fish we filleted ourselves was simply stunning and buttery soft with an incomparable flavor. The asparagus with veal loin and pesto... complemented the whole thing... such a magnificent piece of meat could not have been prepared more perfectly and to perfection. Excellent wines from the top sommelier and impeccable service... unusual schnapps... many thanks to the kitchen, the service, and Mathias... the Hafenküche is an absolute recommendation!

The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the restaurant and how perfect everything was. Very nice place. We sat inside the restaurant. The menu has many interesting and special dishes. We had fish, which was okay, but nothing more. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good wine and dessert. The atmosphere is very nice, and the view of the water is beautiful!

When you walk along Köpenicker Chaussee, you immediately feel how strongly the past and future are connected here. The mix is ​​what makes it so attractive. Historic industrial buildings and brick architecture, hidden cafés and restaurants like Hafenküche, cultural offerings for music, theater and club fans. Only 200 meters from the main street section, if the weather is good you can relax in the harbor kitchen with a view of the water - or rent a boat and explore the Spree.

Creating an ambience in a business park is not easy, nor is bringing the food up to standard. We managed to offer really good food here. The restaurant is equipped to a high standard. The very friendly service makes you feel very welcome here. The harbor kitchen helps to introduce this harbor to the mixed commercial area. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a fish restaurant for lunch during the week, and Hafenküche popped up on Google... Unfortunately, they only serve fish on the evening menu. So we managed to get some very good canteen food at a very reasonable price.

Great place to chill out in peace on the Spree with coffee or a drink. Price slightly above Berlin standards, but definitely appropriate for the beautiful location. During the day there is chillout music - 0.1l wine for 5€

Price-performance was absolutely not right for us. We ordered the burger. Absolutely not a highlight for 25.00 euros. Frozen fries, no decoration, really nothing that justifies the price. If you want to offer an upscale ambience and charge the prices for it, then that must also be reflected in the food. Our companion saw it the same way. The service was friendly, there were enough of them, but sometimes it was slow.

We've eaten here several times now and would love to come back. The restaurant is not exactly easy to reach, but the location on the Spree with a view of the Plänterwald, Treptower Park and the adjacent marina is something. Especially when you can sit on the terrace in summer. Plus, parking is never a problem. The service is always attentive and courteous. Sometimes it takes a while for the orders to arrive. The food is high quality and very well prepared. Arranging it on the plates is also well received. Regardless of whether it was the Wiener Schnitzel or the Rummelsburger, everything has tasted very good so far.

Really a great restaurant, very nice atmosphere...just to feel good! The operators really thought about it. When it comes to service you can see the passion for this job/vocation, keep this. An absolute recommendation, they know what they are doing

We had booked a table for a New Year's Eve celebration. We had promised friends: It would be great because we thought we knew the restaurant. Then the fiasco: “We close at 10 p.m.!” Apparently that was known! But we had just asked again by phone: "It's okay, we're not having a big party, but you'll be happy!" The second disappointment: Shortly before 10 p.m., while we were still having drinks, the table had already been cleared! That doesn't work at all! We have been there often for about 4 years! But: You can't go there anymore! Terrible!

The portions were more than sufficient and sometimes really too big. I will definitely come back many more times. For anyone who complains about the prices afterwards: please check the menu beforehand. All prices can be viewed there. Of course, Hafenküche is not a cheap restaurant. However, the prices are more than reasonable in relation to the quality! First review: Today we went to the harbor kitchen for a little evening snack. It was as expected, simply excellent. The food is fresh and tastes absolutely excellent. The service was beyond reproach and even the boss took the time to talk to us and make personal recommendations regarding wine and food. We will definitely come back many more times!!!

We celebrated our Christmas party with 60 people in the fireplace room. The vegetarian menu was very well coordinated and every single course was very tasty. The staff was super friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Very professional and relaxed at the same time. The atmosphere was very nice and the tables were nicely set. The time between courses was a bit long and could be optimized, but that is criticism at a high level. I would definitely recommend the Hafenküche as an event location.

Very expensive breakfast with cheap cheese. Without tomatoes, fruit etc. We wanted only cheese instead of sausage and cheese.. and received... without asking, vegetarian sausage and slices of cheese.. some salmon.. only the rolls were fresh.. otherwise a rip-off for €22.. without egg or orange juice.... That's why it was so empty Definitely not recommended for breakfast... Well

Unfindable if you don't know, fine before or after a visit to Dark Matter

We had reserved a table and said we were bringing a dog, so we got a round table with low chairs so the dog could lie nice and close to us. The service was attentive and suggested a break between snacks and dinner so we could finish the drinks before the wine. The food was of the finest quality. We got crown of lamb and blackfoot Presa with potato gratin, rosemary sauce and a side salad and 2 espressos. They have amazing cocktails by the way.

Fantastic! It was my first time in the harbor kitchen canteen. It was explained to me how the food distribution works (it's really quite simple), the food was fresh and exceptionally tasty and the terrace was so inviting that after eating I sat down somewhere else and just enjoyed the sun have. I felt welcome at all times. At the food distribution I even stood in line with two guests who come regularly and also bring a container with them to take the food with them to the office when there is no time to stop by. So if that's not a quality feature...

All dishes on offer are very fatty and some come from the deep fryer. Both of these no longer have to be the case these days. Docking with the boat works wonderfully, but in the future I'd rather continue driving.
