Lucky Leek in Berlin

the food is really really good, but there are small dishes and there are ridiculously hilarious small dishes. this restaurant belongs to the later. if it wasn't so funny it would have been annoying.

Upscale vegan cuisine, a unique taste experience, with a choice of 3 to 7 courses. Special requests and food intolerances are catered for. The vegan cheese platter was a special highlight. This visit was a highlight of our Berlin trip. We would definitely go again.

Nice atmosphere for a solo diner. The food was subpar. On several dishes there were parts i just couldn't eat whether it was because of unpleasant texture, taste, or both. Pretty disappointed.

Unfortunately, apart from the dessert, no dish was truly good; everything tasted very similar, with fatty, smoky, and sour flavors. The portions are very small, and the wait times for each course are long, so you're guaranteed to leave the restaurant hungry even after paying around €100 per person.

The staff was wonderful, the setting amazing. While some of the dishes were delicious, others felt like they could have used more work, I have eaten better vegan cuisine. At that price point, unfortunately not what I would expect.

A solid vegan restaurant on Kollwitzstrasse. The staff was friendly, but I found the food rather lacking in flavor and originality—it was just okay.

First of all: Lucky Leek is a fantastic restaurant, absolutely worth a visit for vegans and non-vegans alike. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And we also loved that we didn't both have to choose the identical menus for a four-course meal (e.g., one person could have the intermezzo, the other the main course). During our last visit, there were just a few small things that could be improved. (After all, you pay accordingly.) A few tablecloths would be nice instead of the paper placemats. Much of a "fine dining experience" is about having a great restaurant experience, with things you can't get or manage at home or in any other restaurant. Tablecloths are part of the experience. The paper placemats are okay, too, but they're just okay—not "wow." The furniture is also a bit worn. Then, little things about the service: It absolutely happens that something gets mixed up or brought out incorrectly. No problem at all. Especially when it's busy. But it happened twice here. It's no big deal. But if it happens more than once, there's a problem somewhere. And: Please take the empty water bottles with you. The food was good, especially because it's seasonal. We were also full. But this time, it lacked that special something you only get in fine dining. It was good, but not exceptionally good. (The cheese, however, was actually very good, hard to get right.) But, somewhat unexpectedly: My wife's main course (tofu poached in beetroot) was unfortunately too salty. (She's usually the type to always add more salt. Here, it was too much, even for her.) These are all things that aren't that big of a deal in principle. But they're annoying when they keep piling up and can actually be easily remedied. And when you're paying to get something special, that's obviously a shame. So, we think Lucky Leek is a great restaurant. But it would be great if it could regain that "wow" factor.

not a nice place… unfriendly with children, children under 6 are forbidden and if you bring them even when they‘re i’ve 6 the waitresses are annoyed by them and will let you feel it… disappointing

Simply fantastic! The restaurant impresses with creative, fresh, and lovingly prepared vegan cuisine. Each dish is perfectly balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the variety – it shows just how diverse vegan food can be. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The ambiance is also modern, cozy, and inviting. The value for money is absolutely spot on – you can tell a lot of heart and soul has gone into it. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever visited. Highly recommended! 🌱✨

A bit disappointed. For the price, the food isn't a real treat, and the service is standard. A shame, really, because the promise was high. Perhaps a bad day.

I wish I trusted bad reviews, they ALL were completely correct! First off, the menu is so basic and uninteresting and this fancy way of presenting meals doesn’t safe the dishes. It’s all just vegetables with souses. Very mediocre for this extreme price per position. Both of us had a 3 course meal with different dishes so we tried everything. Having a buffalo cauliflower as a main dish is just insane. A 6.50€ small meal from any vegan Asian place in Berlin has more flavour and mouth watering combinations. Here, there is NO an impressive vegan food, I believed that a Michelin restaurant should introduce something that is hard to replicate or very interesting or simply very tasty. It was nothing, it can totally be cooked at home for a fraction of this price. Second, the cutlery was so worn off. My grandmother’s forks from previous century look better than what I saw at Lucky Leek. The A4 thin cardboard paper under plates to protect dusty tablecloth is just… I’m sorry, I’m not at all a fancy kind of person, I eat at very different types of dining places, but this is giving my post-ussr childhood. The decor itself is sooo hilarious. Honestly, a gorilla sticking out from a window? AN OWL MADE OF TOILET PAPER??? And my favorite… dirty bathroom with no soap in a dispenser… Check my photos for yourself. Last, but not least. The waiter was rude from the very beginning. When we were ordering, I asked him “one sec” to hear what my parter wanted to add to the order and he immediately said “oh then I will come back later” and I had to ask him not to go away because I was literally in the middle of ordering… Also, he didn’t let me ask him for a tea to bring with the desert, as he said to do it later. I was like “sure”. But when the time came and I asked for the tea and had a problem recalling its name in German (because I no longer had a menu in my hands) and said “it should be second on the list in the menu, not sure how it’s translated, probably mountain herbs” he looked sooo annoyed and he literally rolled his eyes🥲 I mean… should I know the menu by heart? He also didn’t let me finish and started going away as I was saying “could you please bring 2 cups for 1 pot” (it’s 400ml which is enough for 2 persons) he became red and very irritatedly said “whatever”. The cups had tea stains😵‍💫I wish I photographed that. With our 100+€ check, we were planning to leave tips but not much as we were served poorly. But the waitress (another person) said out loud when we gave her money “How much of change should I bring you back?” Which means we had to calculate the tips in front of other guests and herself. That was uncomfortable and we just said to keep everything, while it was not our intention. In case you read this and think that I’m a kind of a person who is just complaining, please, check my other reviews. I have never done that, I mostly write only good stuff to support places I like, but I just wanted to save your money in case this is not your regular budget and you wanted to try “high” food. You’ll waste your money and leave disappointed.

I’ve been waiting years to go here. I lived in Berlin for a while but never had the right person to take with me. So, finally, as I am about to be married, I wanted to take my fiance, who is also vegan, to experience this restaurant. When we arrived, 18:30, the service was attentive. This quickly changed as more people showed up. Too few blankets for guests on a windy evening, wine glasses sitting empty far too long…not what I would expect. The food, it was good. Was it worth the price tag? No. Not at all. After the 5 course meal we both left hungry and went to find something else to eat. The home made cheeses were great though, some of the best I’ve tried. Overall, it was a nice experience, but not worth the price and I won’t recommend it to friends.

A bit overrated. We were there yesterday; the food was very good, but not exceptional or sophisticated; for the amount of money we paid, we expected more. The wine, which was served as an accompaniment, wasn't served or explained at the table, but rather just prepared at the bar, which was a bit weak. We won't go back.

The food didn't live up to what was advertised on the menu. The taste was bland, and the portions were small. The wait staff weren't pleased with the criticism and turned away from us without saying goodbye. That says it all.

I have no idea why this restaurant is so hyped. The food is nothing special considering the very high price. Drink prices are exorbitantly high. The ambiance, with a cheap gorilla picture and paper towels on the tables, isn't exactly appealing either.

I was excited to try this Michelin endorsed restaurant, but i am sorry to say it fell short of expectations. The menu was short of creativity and some details, like the hot chocolate, really left lots to be desired. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen

In a laydback friendly welcoming atmosphere we enjoyed very sophisticated food and such attentive staff. They made sure we were not out of drinks etcetera. I forgot to mention an allergy on forehand but they went out of their way to make sure I could eat everything. We highly recommend this restaurant!! 💚🌱💚

This was such an enjoyable fine dining experience. The food was delicious and with some super interesting pairings. We left feeling full after 5 courses. The staff were very lovely and helpful (including with our lack of speaking much German!). Will definitely be going back.

This was the second time I've been to lucky leek and it was once again excellent. The food is inventive fresh and most importantly delicious. We 5 courses that were all so different but with a running theme. The staff were lovely and helpful. I am looking forward to coming back in mushroom season.

Not just for vegans! Incredibly rich course, lots of interesting tastes, and not simple meat substitution shenanigans. You choose from a long evening with 8 course and wine pairing or trim it down to 3 short course and some cocktails. Great service, superb selection of wines. Nois level is great for talking but not too quiet.

Its a vegan restaurant and the food was delicious. Highly recommend visiting. The food was presented in a fine dining style and service was excellent. We went with the 7 courses and we left feeling full but not stuffed.

The food is overpriced in my opinion. We thought the Keese was very good, as was the dessert. We found the other courses satisfactory, but the total bill did not correspond to the price level. We question why people try to imitate the taste and appearance of meat. Plant-based nutrition can also look plant-based to us. I find it annoying when a tip of 10-20% is suggested when paying by card.

A truly excellent vegan fine dining experience. Once again, a great example of how elegant dining can be achieved entirely with plant-based ingredients. The seven-course menu was a high-quality and imaginative journey of flavors. It was also filling and provided plenty of protein, despite the common criticism that vegan food lacks it. The quality was consistent throughout the menu—none of the courses felt like a weaker link. That said, the vegan cheeses were perhaps the most memorable. It’s not a cheap place, but I definitely recommend visiting.

This was the my first fine dining experience and I was blown away. The food had such interesting and harmonious combination of flavors, especially the Daikon Entrée. The beetroot barley risotto could maybe use more side dish/topping because at the end of that course I had only the risotto left which was a little bit boring after a while. The avocado ice cream in the dessert was unique and tasty, while the chocolate was just ... chocolate. I feel the dessert lacked a bit of a central theme though. I had the 4-course menu which included an small appetizer (always included), Vorspeise, Entrée (or optionally soup), Intermezzo (or main course), and dessert (or cheese platter). With a non-alcoholic drink I paid €77 including tip. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would gladly come again if there are new dishes.

A pleasant plant-based fine-dining experience. With two 3-courses menus we explored all available dishes. Overall incredibly rich in flavors that nicely complement each other, without any overpowering the rest. Interesting play of textures. Standing out is the dessert that while satisfying left us somewhat disappointed for the lack of originality. On the other hand the variation of cheeses was the highlight of the menu, highly recommended. Very appreciated the alcohol free menu pairing. Service was very professional and fast. Removing one star for the unnecessary comments from the waitress about our chosen tipping. Atmosphere is calm and never too loud. Spacing is a bit too tight, seats could be more comfortable.

There's not much you can say other than great food and always top service. Since the Kopp closed, it has been virtually unrivaled. Always happy to be there.

Lucky Leek is on the expensive side and with that comes a higher expectation for a great meal. I had a super thoughtful cocktail and the wine was very good. On the other hand the first course I had was good but I felt the main dish of the menu was lackluster. It seemed to be rushed and lacked the complexity one would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Similar textures and flavors served the entire meal left me wanting something more. Lucky Leek has its heart in the right place but I’d like to see it elevate itself with complex textures and flavors for they price and the hype. I would visit again. Update. I came here 6 years later and I think it has even gotten better. Food was elevated and sophisticated and the Chef really played and utilised the natural flavours of the vegetables. Everything was perfectly salted and seasoned. 5 stars!

I would give it 6 stars, my enthusiasm knows (almost) no bounds. Food, service and prices are exceptionally good! When I'm in Berlin, this restaurant is a must! But specifically: I had selected 4 courses with wine accompaniment and ordered the cheese because I had seen it at the next table and had followed the guests' comments. Actually, I was already full after 3 courses, but cheese and ice cream always go well. The food was very tasty, cooked to perfection and nicely presented. The quantities for 3 courses are just enough, with 4 courses you get enough. Criticism of the food: the chocolate cake for dessert was too dry for me. The service was on the same level! Very friendly, experienced and attentive. 2 people rocked the place and never seemed stressed. Criticism of the service: please practice clearing plates without stacking them at the table and do not clear 3 tables in one go. Conclusion: a relaxed, pleasant evening that left me completely satisfied when I went home. A few words about the 1 star reviews: the prices are moderate to low for the quality. I travel around a lot and know the prices in other cities and other, equivalent restaurants in Berlin. Anyone who complains about the alleged unfriendliness of the (extremely friendly) service should reflect on their own behavior! As you call into the forest, it resounds.

Inte värt pengarna. Når inte på långa vägar upp till Michelinnivå. Vi åt chiefs meny med fem rätter och vinpaket. Tråkig inredning med pappersdukar och återanväning av bestick mellan rätterna. Dåligt presenterad mat och dryck. Vinet hälldes upp bakom disken och passade knappt till maten. Maten var okej utifrån att det är veganskt.

Very fine food with excellent service

Menu and flavors sought after, mainly for starters and main courses. Vegan without feeling like you're only eating vegetables and herbs. A little disappointed by the dessert which lacked consistency. Quiet and pleasant restaurant room but certain details of the decoration lack finesse (paper placemats, plastic hand soap). We ate well but for the price we expected a little more.

You make a reservation when you come from further afield, only to be told by the waiter at 8:15 p.m. that you should order slowly. You want to eat 5 courses, but that's no longer possible because the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. There is no information about this when reserving a table at 8 p.m. How subpar can a service in this price range be?!

Unfortunately, I found the food quite outdated and lacking in flavor and creativity. While this style of vegan cooking might have been impressive some years ago, it feels underwhelming now. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, given the high price, it’s hard to recommend unless there’s a refresh to the menu. I've been to outstanding vegan restaurants in a similar price range, and the difference in quality is notable.

We had one of the dishes each, which were pretty average. I saw another review mentioning the food being a bit outdated for vegans which I can definitely agree too. Expected better but the starter and dessert was tasty. Quite expensive for what it is.

Had dinner yesterday and it was a great experience. The food was very tasty and the matching wine harmonized perfectly. Despite the rain, we sat on the sheltered terrace. There were enough blankets to protect against the cold. We were served very friendly and attentively. I am very enthusiastic and it was a completely successful evening. Price performance is consistent.

A great spot offering exciting high-end vegan food. Perhaps a touch on the pricey side but overall, you won’t go wrong here.

Overall impression: Overall the menu was a disappointment and seemed very monotonous. For around €600 including wine accompaniment and tip, the quality of the food and the service was not justified. The dishes started weak and got weaker with each course, with the main course being the absolute low point. Appetizer: The tempeh was over smoked and overpowered all the other flavors. The sauce was reminiscent of a cheap barbecue sauce, which made the taste experience monotonous and disappointing. Soup: The parsnip and quince soup was overall unbalanced. The salsify chip that was supposed to provide crunch was soggy and lost its character as it was soggy in the soup. The blackberry and quince were also barely noticeable and added little flavor to the dish. Entrance: The stuffed turnip was dominated by bitter substances and the habanero mayonnaise was barely noticeable. The entire course was unbalanced and provided little depth of flavor. Intermezzo: The sourdough bread gnocchi were tough and the caper stock was far too dominant, so the coffee oil and grapes had no effect. Here too, the balance of flavors was missing. Main course: The nori sesame tofu tasted like nothing and seemed uninspired. The leeks and potatoes didn't offer any exciting flavors. The beetroot jus was stale and had an inappropriately thick consistency, making it far from a fresh, flavorful sauce. However, the pickled radish was a positive exception and provided a fresh contrast. Dessert: Dessert was the only successful course of the evening. The pumpkin tart was well prepared and the pumpkin seed caramel was well balanced in terms of taste. It rounded off the menu positively. Service: Overall the service was fine, however there were several changes in staff which led to a certain lack of coordination. In addition, the courses were served far too quickly, so that we suddenly had two wines for one course. When we asked about semi-dry wines, we received the inappropriate answer: “Then you’ve come to the wrong place.” Offering the bill early was also inappropriate. Ambiance: The ambience was disappointing and didn't match the price level. The moss on the walls looked crooked and old, which didn't create a pleasant atmosphere. The old, dusty items in the shop window also didn't contribute to the well-kept impression. The bathroom wasn't clean and you had to search for toilet paper, which is simply not acceptable at such a price. The paper storage on the tables was absolutely unacceptable. Instead of a proper tablecloth, there was cheap paper that quickly tore, especially when you put cutlery or wine on it. As a result, there were lots of stains on the tables during the meal, which left an overall unappetizing impression. Summary: For a total price of around €600 including wine accompaniment and tips for 4 people, the experience was not justified. The food was mostly disappointing and the menu overall was very monotonous. The service wasn't rude, but it was uncoordinated, and with such high prices we expect better coordination and an overall successful experience. The ambience and cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Likewise, the quality of the table decoration was completely inadequate. Even though we came as open and interested guests, we have to say that with such high prices we are allowed to criticize - and in this case it was unfortunately necessary.

I had a terrible experience here. The service was the main issue. Our server passed rude comments and had an attitude from the moment we arrived. He was an older German man who seemed to go out of his way to make our experience bad. The food was not bad but for a restaurant with such high reviews I was surprised at how none of the dishes really stood out. The price was over €200 for two people so it felt extremely not worthwhile. I do not recommend.

Wir waren im Lucky Leek zum ersten mal komplett vegan essen. Es war ein wunderbarer Abend mit toller Küche, super entspanntem Service und einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente. Die Vielfalt der Aromen hat uns von Anfang bis Ende überzeugt, die Tellersprache ist modern aber nicht überzogen. Für uns hat auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gepasst: wir kommen beim nächsten Berlinbesuch sicher wieder.

Food quite good, although not outstanding. Wine totally overpriced (3 glasses of wine each (!!!) 17 €). The wines were okay, but the quality was at best easy drinking. Really annoying the bouncer at the end. We ultimately had a time slot of around 1 hour 45 minutes and ordered the bill ourselves. Then there is no need for a special note that the table is needed immediately. Luckily we had ordered a three-course meal. I can only advise anyone who comes early not to take 5 courses. By the way, the bouncer wasn't the first time, but also the last time.

Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, wenngleich nicht "fancy", eingerichtet, im Detail sind einfachere Materialen bei einer Einrichtung verwendet worden. Man merkt, dass es sich beim Lucky Leek um einen mittlerweile etablierten Pionier der vegangen Küche in Berlin handelt und keinen neuen Player. Das gleiche gilt für die Speisen, die im positiven Sinne grundsolide sind. Auf neumodische Variationen wurde zumindest bei unserem Besuch verzichtet. Die Raffinesse war im Laufe der Menüfolge bei manchen Gerichten stärker ausgeprägt als bei anderen. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und deutschsprachig. Gerade letzteres empfinden wir heutzutage in der Berliner Gastroszene als positive Ausnahme.

The two of us were here to treat ourselves to vegan fine dining. We received a very warm welcome and were allowed to choose the table despite having a reservation. Our service was extremely friendly and professional. We immediately felt comfortable. We ordered the 4 course menu plus wine accompaniment. However, we quickly realized that one glass of wine was enough for us and in the end we only had to pay for one out of goodwill. The food was very tasty and it was a lovely evening overall. We spent 3 hours there and were able to relax and the portions were well balanced. Thank you very much, gladly again :)

The food was very tasty and we ate there several times. However, we were very annoyed when we reserved a table in the run-up to Christmas for two adults and a baby (8 months). We came to dinner and were asked to put the stroller with the sleeping baby in a completely different area of ​​the restaurant. We then said that we wanted to keep an eye on our child - we were the only guests at the time - so we were told to just wake up our son. We then left and haven't been there since.

Really wanted to like this place - the cauliflower dish was the best and it went downhill from there. The wine was also very good. The chive dumpling was super dry and dense. The older waitress was also super rude and spent all evening complaining to her colleagues which was off putting. The younger server was lovely though.

In general, the overall experience can be described as disappointing, especially when it comes to service. Upon greeting we were informed that there is no tap water as they donate most of the water sold. I find that commendable, but for a restaurant of this status not to serve tap water when other drinks are ordered is absolutely unacceptable. I think the hint is ok, but the refusal is not. The food was good, but overpriced for the price. What was annoying was that everything took a long time. The website states that there is a maximum stay of two hours per table. However, the 4 courses took a total of 1:50. Since the portions are relatively small, this could have come much quicker. The behavior of the blonde waitress was absolutely unacceptable. I tipped 2% which I thought was ok given the €125+, the slow pace and the lack of water. The waitress asked relatively aggressively whether the 2% tip was correct (with the explicit reference to the percent) and whether something was wrong. I said ok because I didn't feel like starting a discussion. I've never experienced something like that in America where I was approached aggressively about tips. If you want to have an American tip, you also have to offer the speed and hospitality that is normal there. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, this experience left a really sour note.

My friend and I visited Lucky Leek yesterday, we chose the 4-course menu and were very excited about the food. Unfortunately I was disappointed, in my opinion the food is not worth the extortionate prices. If I were to rate the food alone, it would only be 3/5... For me it was just too over engineered, too many components that were simply not harmonious with each other. The portions were still very nicely prepared. The atmosphere is nothing special either, I was particularly confused by the poster of a gorilla, which didn't exactly fit with the decor. In addition, one thing really surprised me.....in an expensive establishment like this, which is not the cheapest in terms of price, there was a piece of paper as a base...? I understand that the cutlery wasn't replaced after every course but a table mat is the least..? Now to the service, which we remember as very negative. We were served by a blonde waitress, the lady was nice, but slow. Our 4th course of the 4-course menu came after 1 hour 50 minutes, which was definitely too slow for us. After paying 130€+ we were passive aggressively approached by the lady "Was there something wrong with the service? only a 2% tip??? .. Normally it's always 10%?" We were shocked, it's not mandatory to tip 10% in Germany? But as a waitress, we were very surprised to ask for more; this has already been mentioned in other reviews... Dear Lucky Leek, why isn't it up to the customer how much tip he wants to pay? In summary: We won't be back - the food is nothing special. And lastly, the wait staff should be taught not to aggressively ask for more tips.

Vegan cuisine at the highest level. Every course is thought through and harmonious down to the smallest detail. Treat yourself to all five courses - it's very worth it!

Dieses vegane Restaurant in Berlin, absolut empfehlenswert. Ich bin weder vegan noch Vegetarier. Auf der Terrasse habe ich gut gesessen, der Service war aufmerksam und kompetent. Leider hatte ich nur Vorspeise, dreierlei vom Blumenkohl, Hauptgang und Dessert, wobei das Dessert, am schwächsten war. Die Preise vollkommen ok Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Berlin, komme ich wieder!

Creative and tasty five course tasting. Was both good and filling - great!

Eigentlich haben wir vorgehabt im Restaurant von Tim Raue zu speisen, leider hat er seine Sommerpause. Daher haben wir uns für das Lucky Leek entschieden. Wir haben dort das 5 Gang Menü genommen. Es fing sehr gut an und wurde zum Ende immer schlechter. Wir mussten die Nachspeise stehenlassen weil sie einfach nur schlecht gemacht war. Die Portionen wurde auf einmal immer größer und man konnte nicht mehr genießen sondern war nur noch am stopfen. Die Auswahl an Weinen war auch begrenzt und für mich als Autofahrer, hätte ich mir alkoholfreien Wein gewünscht. Es war nett dort mal gegessen zu haben. Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen. Wer mal in die gehobene Gastronomie einblicken möchte und nicht soviel Geld ausgeben will, kann das Restaurant besuchen. Wer ein Erlebnis erwartet, wird enttäuscht.

The Lucky Leek impresses not with a particularly modern ambience and unusual plate arrangements, but with creativity and taste. Particularly positive features are the sufficient portion sizes and the low prices - in other words, the price-performance ratio is great. The 5-course menu for €85 (without wine accompaniment) offers an appealing variety of dishes and ensures that you leave the restaurant full and satisfied. Overall, however, there is a lack of creative, non-alcoholic drinks. The service was friendly and efficient. There weren't long waiting times either. Overall, Lucky Leek is recommended.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant and unfortunately our experience was anything but pleasant. The food was okay, however the dishes were often overloaded with too many elements and flavors, giving the impression that they were trying too hard. The price-performance ratio was not good at all. Service initially started out quite well, but deteriorated significantly as the patio became more crowded. The height of the outrage, however, was when the waitress actually came up to us when we were paying and said, "Usually it's a 10% tip" and basically spoke aggressively to my husband. As we left the restaurant, no attention was paid to us - on the contrary, they simply turned their backs on us. In Germany, it is not customary to express such tipping expectations, and the waitress's behavior was rude and disrespectful - a level of rudeness that I have never experienced in over a decade of restaurant experience. Although the service was already mediocre, we initially planned to leave an additional small tip in cash to ensure the waiter received the full amount. However, due to the brazen treatment, we decided against it. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant and will certainly not visit it again. There are better options in the area that will appreciate both the food and the service.

What a lovely culinary experience. We ate at LL for the first time today and were very happy with the evening. We were welcomed by a very nice employee and immediately felt at home. We were a little unsure which dishes we wanted to include in our menu and were given exactly the right advice. We each treated ourselves to all the options and were able to taste each other's dishes. The food was creative but not too playful. The portions were good, so we could go home with a very comfortable feeling in our stomachs. We will come back and recommend you. Promised!

The menu (5 courses with wine accompaniment) read very well. However, the food couldn't quite keep up with other restaurants in its price range. In principle, the dishes were well conceived, but unfortunately the final courage was missing when it came to tasting them. The employees were all very friendly, but we waited a long time for our order to be taken, especially at the beginning. A plus point at the end: the outside seating area is very nicely designed.

Fine dining with fair prices. + optionally from several menus + purely VEGAN + versatile and diverse dishes + great service + you don't get stressed here and you have time to eat - not a great and responsible wine selection

Many thanks to the team and the kitchen at Lucky Leak for the great evening. A four-star menu including wine accompaniment and a greeting from the kitchen rounded off our Berlin weekend. A big recommendation for all slow-food lovers, vegans and non-vegans. (Anyone who complains about “too expensive” simply doesn’t understand high-quality cuisine and courteous service) I agree with the previous speakers on one thing: you can still work on the outside table design (place mats). Nevertheless, all in all a great, well-rounded evening All the best!

Le serveur s est trompé de plat. Les plats sont bons mais trop cher pour ce que c'est, le pain et le fromage vegan ne sont pas très élaboré. Au moment de la note à 95.5 euros on me demande combien je laisse de pourboire. Le service n étant vraiment pas exceptionnel et pas d un excellent rapport qualité prix je dis 2 euros. La serveuse le fait ŕépété, soupire très fort , le rend la monnaie et ne me dis pas au revoir. Manque de professionnalisme peu acceptable au vu des prix de cet endroit.

Lovely place. So good that such exceptional vegan food exists, and served in such a normal feeling restaurant, so you just felt you were eating wonderful food that happened to be vegan. I find it hard to imagine how any meat eater would not enjoy a meal here. As well as the beautifully presented food, tge service was quick and helpful and the ambience on a quiet street was delightful. And while it was not cheap, it was not the totally ridiculous prices of one of its vegetarian competitors. Totally recommended.

High-quality vegetarian gourmet cuisine in a chic and warm setting in the Prenzlauer Berg district. The wines offered by the glass are well chosen and served at a reasonable price. Very pleasant welcome and attentive and friendly service. An address deserving of a star in the Michelin guide.

What happened to the Michelin guide? Dry and hard sticky rice, shortbread with a refrigerator taste, flavorless and ordinary dishes. It's a shame, I had a good experience a few years ago but there's nothing to save there unfortunately. Rapoort disastrous price quality... I no longer recommend this restaurant

I mean, don’t get me wrong, the service was very nice. But for this exceptional work of chef, it should be the proper presentation. Half of the ingredients were forgotten. The wine paring description basically was absent. Super food, but I am really sorry for chef. This work should be represented better.

I've worked in gastronomy for decades, still do but the servers are extremely classist here. They changed our reservation without asking, wouldn't let us sit outside, I asked them a question about a cocktail which they ignored multiple times and walked away. Then the server made a comment that we ate one of our courses too fast "this isn't a fast food restaurant". He forced us to tip which we were doing anyway, then we walked outside in the pouring rain and they pulled the canopy away so that it poured all over us. The vibe was very stale and we were dying to get out of there. Go to Long March Canteen instead if you want a real Michelin Bib Gourmand experience. This place is a bit of a joke for the service industry.

We had been here previously a couple of years ago and felt this time that the quality had gone down. For the amount of food we were served it was quite expensive. Some of the culinary ideas of the chef were interesting though. Unfortunately, the head waitress was appalling and sometimes rude so we were shocked at this kind of service at a Michelin recommended restaurant. The other waitresses, however, were more professional. We were looking for an exclusively vegan restaurant but I would be reluctant now to recommend this restaurant to friends.

Good to see this level of a more premium restaurant being vegan. We loved it - decent food, the 'cheese' plate perhaps being the highlight and left pretty full after 3 courses. I've seen other reviews re service and on our visit it was spot on. Genuine class

ate here at lightning speed. They probably wanted to go home quickly. Very friendly, but explanation of the dishes and wines was minimal. Wines already poured and served. We were not allowed to see a bottle. The food was tasty and excellent, but we expected a bit more. Pretty standard vegan dishes. I think that can be done better now. Especially for the fine dining prices charged. We were very curious about the vegan "cheese" (one of the reasons for choosing this restaurant). We were not very enthusiastic about this. other than the cashew variety, this was extremely tasty. The bread served with this was a mockery. A nice slice of sourdough bread would not have looked out of place here. The served bakeoff baguette/baguette (I suspect) has no place in this segment. In short: back home a bit disappointed.

Great vegan restaurant in the Kollwitz-Kietz with fine cuisine. Multi-course menu options. Gluten-free design possible. Pleasant ambience, although the design of the outdoor area does not do justice to the level and interior of the interior. Attentive service. We had a great evening and were also able to inspire omnivorous friends for the gastronomic culinary delight.

Great vibes, outstanding presentation, interesting food, but the food wasn’t quite as good as it should be at that price point. The chickpea based vegan “cheese” and the celery root in particular were a little disappointing.

Delicious food, but it varies per dish. The wine, on the other hand, was top notch.
