Vapiano Münster City in Münster

We've been back to Vapiano for some time today. Because we can eat gluten-free with our children 🍕 without any worries and we also like it. We have always appreciated the atmosphere and friendliness here. Unfortunately, this now leaves a lot to be desired. Especially in the soup area, incomprehensible. The waitress in the soup area was really unfriendly and visibly annoyed 😒 too many words and questions. A bit of soup - no words, if it weren't for this negative aftertaste. Vapiano💔

Normally I give relatively positive reviews to the restaurants I visit, but this time it's really impossible and different. We arrived around 9:20 p.m. and were really hungry and walked past the unmanned cash register into the Vapiano and were rudely yelled at that we should politely ask for tickets first... only there was no one at the cash register... then we arrived at the ordering counter , this was already eagerly cleared away and the order - salad and pizzas - was accepted with grumbling. Not nice. I then shamelessly wanted to order an espresso and two cookies at the bar and was then rudely told that the machine was off and the bar was closed anyway. When I asked whether I could at least get the two cookies - especially since payment was only made at the exit - I was greeted extremely rudely and asked "whether I also wanted to discuss this with "you""... to my reply that I was responsible for that behavior What she found very rude, especially since all the ordering stations were supposedly still open, she grudgingly offered to make an espresso. I then politely declined the offer; I had the cardboard open. In my opinion there was a bad atmosphere in the shop, the young woman who served me is probably completely out of place in the catering industry with her service orientation that is to be discussed. It's a shame for the business and the paying customers, because the food was actually okay, but we are no longer attracted to this Vapiano with such outrageous service.

We were looking for a place to have a quick meal with a group. Vapiano is extremely suitable there. The food was good but the service was bad. Clearing empty tables took a very long time, which meant that many empty tables could not yet be used because they were full of dirty plates and glasses.

Chic cozy restaurant. Atmosphere and service very good.

The place is beautiful. When you enter, they give you a card, you order with it and pay the balance on the card when you exit. We bought a sausage funghi pizza and a pesto spinach pizza. In terms of taste, both were mediocre. Coke is 4.5 Euros 🤣🤣 Generally people eat pasta, you can try their pasta.

We haven't been to Vapiano for a while and unfortunately we found that the prices had been increased there too... The food was OK but unfortunately nothing special anymore, you can get the same salad and pizza cheaper at my pizzeria next door... The service and friendliness at the checkout and coffee counter was excellent, which unfortunately cannot be said about the service counter at Salat & Pizza... The huge drawback is that unfortunately there is no internet reception in the Vapioano and the restaurant itself does not offer a functioning WiFi! Therefore, absolutely unsuitable for people with the idea of ​​drinking a coffee on their laptop or surfing the Internet while having coffee and cake! Overall the rating is therefore only OK, but no longer a highlight in Münster...

Very nicely located in the heart of Münster, very nice, friendly atmosphere and service. The food was great and the price was TOP.

Rude and aggressive staff I planned to eat here with my wife, daughter, and another couple. I wanted to go outside for some fresh air while my wife stood in line to order food. While making an attempt to exit, I was rudely approuch by a staff member. She demanded me to give the card back. I told her that my wife had it. She insisted, started to get angry with me, and even shouted at me. There was absolutely no reason for her rude behaviour and to treat me like that. This was my last day in Münster and I left the city horified by the ludacrous behaviour of a staff member at this facility.

Unfortunately, the concept no longer works. The food is still great, but for just under €20 with a drink, I'd rather go to an Italian restaurant with service than stand in line for half an hour as if I were in a university canteen.

The idea is interesting, the bottom of the Pinza was too hard and the price-performance ratio is too high for the small Pinza. The taste was ok but nothing special. The man at the pinza station was friendly but what service should you rate here? Do you pick up your food like in a canteen?

Food is ok but I had to tell the guy who doesn't even speak German my order 3 times because no one understands German, what is that, why don't they understand German?

Totally what you'd expect and that's not a bad thing! I go here for a reliable Caesar salad and am always left satisfied. The food is too expensive for what it is and they certainly skimp on chicken with salads. Plastic containers are I guess a franchise thing + totally outdated but hopefully they replace them with something more sustainable soon. I'll be back if not purely for the convenience.

The fact that they pretend to be Italian is just a disgrace. Not even a newborn can cook pasta that badly. At most, the Moon is as far away from the Earth as Al dente. Cooked completely carelessly, Aglio e Olio felt with whole garlic cloves. Incredible. Just somehow tried to snip it in, dumped the noodles carelessly into the hot water and took it straight back out. You can't imagine. I always say: an Italian is only as good as his Aglio e Olio and unfortunately things don't look so rosy here...

Normally google would give 4 stars, but for the food I would have given 6 stars. So in total 5 :-) Ambience is ok, ...a bit crowded and busy....Service is just pick up yourself, but that's the way you know beforehand. all nice.

If you're here with kids and have to queue for 30 minutes at two different places for pasta and pizza because it's so busy, we think that warrants a bad review! In other Vapiano branches you can either order everything at one point or even online from the square, for example in the branches in Bonn, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg and Hanover. We like to visit Vapiano because of the gluten-free offer. We are very happy with the food, but we would have liked to have eaten it together. This was not possible and the children had to be left alone.

I have rarely eaten a worse pizza. The pizza barely made it out of the oven, the onions on it were still raw. Totally bland in taste.

Price performance just doesn't fit. Pinsa is just ok, tastes like a finished product, but it costs around 15 euros. Service was rather unfriendly/short. Ambience quite nice, but too loud when it's full.

Get ready for a truthful story: Food: I ordered the Reef n Beef Pasta. Ok in itself, not objectionable, but very stingy with the basil (1 leaf) & tomatoes (2). In addition, the beef was tender and juicy, but had no taste. Only bite-proof water. NOW THE CROP: I asked if the lobster sauce had cream in it since I'm lactose intolerant, which I also mentioned. The cook then replied rudely that there was no other way to prepare the sauce. I didn't insist on it either, luckily the vegan cream was suggested to me, which I then chose. However, as it turned out, I broke the bowl at home and had severe cramps in my stomach (typical reaction to lactose :) ). So the normal cream was foisted on me anyway. My friend's pinsa still looked raw, was also low in basil and was swimming in tomato sauce. Staff: The two "ladies" at reception didn't seem very discreet, quite the opposite. After paying, they asked how the food tasted. I replied "that's fine" and they insisted on actually arguing with me that the meat couldn't be tasteless since the cooks were so good etc. They also looked like they worked in a shisha club and, more inappropriately, in the catering industry. Usually had good experiences there. Service, food, concept everything was great. The last time I was there was 45 minutes before closing time. The service person at the entrance asked if the kitchen was still open and if we could still order. We were told no problem, the kitchen would be open for another 15 minutes. We line up, kitchen staff extremely stressed. Unkind to us because we were late. Accordingly, the food was unusually hasty and significantly worse than usual. It's kind of a shame. If the cooks no longer like it, we should know about it at the entrance. Overall, unfortunately, the service was overwhelmed that evening. Otherwise I can only recommend the store!

Good flavors and variety of pastas. It's not as friendly for tourists or non-German speakers, as it's hard to understand how the ordering system works. When you arrive, they hand you a card, then you go to the kitchen counters and explain to the cook what you want to order, you scan your card on a screen where nothing appears, and then they enter your order information. You serve your food and then, when you're done, you go to the front counter and pay with your card. Strange.

If you're looking for friendliness and a good atmosphere at dinner, don't come here. The food is average, and the rudeness doesn't do anything to improve this. 2 stars at least the toilet was clean.

That was significantly better. The furnishings are worn out, the tables are not cleaned and sticky and the food has gone way down. There wasn't a single pine nut to be found in a pasta dish, even though it said so in the description. Too bad.

I was at Vapiano in Münster for the first time about 2 years ago and today for the second time. I didn't remember the restaurant being as bad as I experienced it today. The staff when taking the order was totally unfriendly and disinterested. The pizza was delicious but the price was absolutely unreasonable for the size. Especially when you consider that there is no service at the table and you have to get everything yourself. You should also be careful in the toilet. The water for washing my hands came out of the tap so hot that I burned my fingers. After my 4 companions, who each had a pasta dish, complained about the very firm pasta and also the portion size (all normal eaters) and left over €100 in total. It was the last Vapiano visit to Münster for me/us.

For me personally, it's now far too expensive for a self-service restaurant. I also found the portion to be too small and one ingredient was forgotten in my pasta dish. This will be my last visit.

The place looks very nice from the outside but the staff are pretty indifferent. Especially the blonde waitress with glasses who worked there was very rude. Their relationship with customers was very bad. He showed arrogant and arrogant behavior. He got the answer he deserved. I recommend you consider this when choosing a venue...

Vapiano Innenstadt: Staff, very helpful, friendly and kind and all foreigners! Definitely great staff, 5 stars for the service! I cannot say the same for the food. I ordered Lasagna with beef which had a high price but inside had only 10gram of meat and all cheese. You can save your meet maybe in the fridge and don't put it at all!

Still tasty, but significantly increased basic prices. In the menu, a pasta add-on is also very misleadingly advertised for apparently €1, which then costs €5 for a few pieces of chicken. When asked, this is not an isolated case, but it is obviously accepted. Definitely not a recommendation anymore

Very unfriendly staff. First time eating there and am not familiar with the payment system. When I was supposed to put the card on and I apparently put it on the wrong place, the comment "You can't read" came in very broken German. Food was ok but the pasta wasn't cooked properly and for €18 it was a rather bad experience. Overall, I just felt uncomfortable felt because of the remark and therefore there will not be a second time.

The first and last time I go to this restaurant. I went here for lunch, I ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil sauce (8,95 euros) and a small water (3,95 euros if i remember correctly). In the pasta section there was quite a long wait time, but not for the others sections. They made everything fresh and the food was great. And the bathroom (the woman’s bathroom) was really cool. The pasta is al dente which I’m not really a fan of though.

Was there a week ago. The beautiful ambience suffered, especially in terms of cleanliness. The serving counter was soooo dirty and swimming with grease. There was a person in front of us and we had to wait 30 minutes until we had our food. 4 people behind the counter. 2 drank coffee and chatted with themselves, the cook who served us chatted endlessly with the person in front of us and only one really worked. Nobody had the idea of ​​taking a rag and cleaning the greasy counter. The cooking area itself also looked really bad. Nothing was neatly sorted on the wooden shelves anymore. Everything thrown into plastic boxes. At an old Berlin sausage stand you accept that, but I only pay 2 euros for my meal.

The food is good but it’s very expensive for pasta with tomato sauce… the cheapest dish is 8€90…. The concept of queuing to buy dishes is not great, no waiter coming to serve you at the table, given the price of pasta, it would have been better.... Otherwise the atmosphere is nice. Vapiano has bad reviews deleted by Google on the grounds that it is a fake profile and there is no business relationship. It's not possible, the store is dead from now on. Original review was: Pinsa instead of pizza is quite a downgrade, less food for the same price.

There is hardly a restaurant I visit as often as the Vapiano in Münster. You get your food quickly, it smells delicious and any special requests are gladly taken into account. You can afford to eat there more often, especially with the more “cheaper” pasta dishes. It's quick, tastes good and still has a quiet, cozy atmosphere.

I had to queue at 3 different stations for our food (children's menu Pinsa + noodles). For the children's menu I had to order the drinks specially at the drinks stand and wait a long time while our food was already ready. No service offer. It is not recommended to eat there with a small child. As always, the noodles were delicious. Unfortunately the Pinsa was way too dry and way too much dough.

Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet, zumindest die Sauce, die Nudeln sind vorgekocht und werden erhitzt. Wenn man Pech hat. muss man zu Stoßzeiten länger warten. Vor allem dann, wenn der Kunde vor allem sechs Teller bestellt. Was man da im Voraus nicht weiß, ist das schon ziemlich nervig. Manche Getränke müssen an einer anderen Theke bestellt werden. Wem das nichts ausmacht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Preise sind fast ähnlich wie in "normalen" Pizzerien

I haven't been to a Vapiano with the original concept in a while. The store was almost full, the queues at the individual stands were quite long, so you might have to stand there for 30 minutes. The waiting time in the drinks line was also unexpectedly long. So that you simply stood in line alone for 40 minutes in a social atmosphere without being able to have a conversation. In a few places, like the Pinsa and drinks queue, more staff helped.

Das Personal war freundlich, und die Einrichtung wirkte modern und ansprechend. Auch die Sauberkeit der Toiletten war in Ordnung. Beim Essen allerdings gibt es einige Kritikpunkte. Der Geschmack war akzeptabel, aber die Portionen waren sehr klein. Die Lasagne, die ich bestellte, unterschied sich geschmacklich kaum von einer Fertiglasagne aus dem Supermarkt. Nach wenigen Bissen war die Portion bereits aufgegessen, und ich blieb hungrig zurück. Ähnlich verhielt es sich mit den Ravioli, die trotz des Preises von 13€ (inklusive eines Getränks) mengenmäßig nicht überzeugten. Zusätzlich möchte ich anmerken, dass gegen meine ursprüngliche Bewertung Beschwerde eingelegt wurde. Mir wurde unterstellt, ein Fake Account zu sein / nie Kunde gewesen zu sein. Da ich erfahren habe, dass dies bei vielen anderen Kunden ebenfalls vorkommt, entsteht der Eindruck, dass hier möglicherweise versucht wird, Kundenmeinungen zu manipulieren. Dies verstärkt leider meinen negativen Gesamteindruck.

Bei der Pinsa und bei dem Salat fehlten die Gewürze.

UPDATE: Das Restaurant will meine Bewertung bei Google löschen lassen!! Habe eine Mail von Google bekommen, dass sich das Restaurant über die Bewertung beschwerte und behauptet, mein Konto sei FAKE und ich sei NIE GAST GEWESEN!! UNVERSCHÄMTHEIT! Die Lage ist gut, der Rest weniger. Für eine Studentenstadt super teuer, 11€ für eine handgroße Schale Lasagne und 5€ für 0,5L Bier. Die Lasagne war auch nicht wirklich gut, der Käse ließ sich einfach runterKLAPPEN, die graue Masse darunter war für mich nicht zu identifizieren. Geschmack war in Ordnung

Das Essen ist super, **der Rest der Kritik wurde von mir entfernt und die Anzahl der Sterne ebenfalls angepasst, da der Kommentar auf Grund von verletzten Persönlichkeitsrechten seitens Vapiano ansonsten gelöscht werden sollte. Ich entschuldige mich dafür, dass eine Aussage über die Lautstärke im Restaurant von vor sieben Jahren dazu geführt hat, dass beide Seiten nun erhöhten Arbeitsaufwand haben.

Schade, dass es keine Pizzen mehr gibt. Insgesamt noch ok, aber hat alles stark nachgelassen: Portionen kleiner, Zutaten weniger ...

Essen war einfach super und sehr lecker.

Das Weihnachtsessen war keine tolles Erlebnis. Wir sollten trotz früher Reservierung (8 Wochen Vorlauf) im Eingangsbereich Platz nehmen. Im Lokal war es sehr laut. Die Tische waren sehr klein und viel zu eng gestellt. Das lag ggf. auch an den Plastikwänden, die zwischen die Tischreihen als Trennung gestellt waren. Die Bedienungen waren etwas unfreundlich und unaufmerksam - das Essen ging so - dafür war die Rechnung herausragend (teuer: normales Essen für 5 Personen mit Getränken 320 Euro). Preis - Leistung stimmen hier absolut nicht!!!!!

Vapiano Münster is likely one of the few restaurants in the city suitable for our family. I appreciate the open and spacious design and accessible layout. The food is great and reasonably priced, and one can interact with the chefs directly. Most importantly, after three visits, I can say that the best asset they have is their staff. I am consistently impressed by their friendliness and helpfulness, as opposed to other unfriendly and non-English speaking establishments where customers are expected to speak fluent German. While it may be natural for someone who has grown up speaking German to have a high level of proficiency, it can take 5-10 years for others who learned later in life to be considered fluent. Regardless of one's level of German, humans have basic needs to eat, and I always feel happy and relaxed at Vapiano as I do not feel alienated as an English speaker. My son enjoys their Pasta Bolognese and Tiramisu Cup, and I appreciate the buzzing atmosphere. Yesterday, there were many families with children, and I appreciate that adults tolerated the children's noises. It is important to remember that children need to express themselves through movements and noises, and they have not yet reached an age where they can monitor their every action. After all, we were all children once.

Ik kwam voor de pasta...en ik ging weg met de pasta! Lekker eten en je ziet het bereid worden terwijl je er bij staat. Service 5 sterren want: self service. En wie kan het beter dan jij zelf? Juist niemand :)

Het eten smaakte geweldig. Het is zelfbediening. Bovendien was het heel erg druk. Maar al met al gingen we tevreden en goed gevuld naar huis.

Ich war lange nicht mehr im Vapiano und nun auch nicht ermutigt, es nochmal zu besuchen. Die Pinsas schmecken fade, der Boden ist geachmacksarm. Die Pizzen früher waren echt lecker, aber die Pinsas lohnen sich nicht. Pasta war ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Schade.

Heerlijk Italiaans gegeten. In het begin was het me wel niet duidelijk hoe het concept werkte. Hierbij had ik wel wat uitleg gehad. Voor de rest heel lekker, veel keuze en gezellig

Essen in Ordnung, ich hatte Pasta. Die Portion war ausreichend. Getränke nicht günstig. Atmosphäre Bahnhofshalle.

Erwartungen erfüllt. Preis/Leistung passt.

Ik ben hier meerdere keren geweest maar de prijzen worden steeds hoger en de hoeveelheid en kwaliteit word steeds minder. 4.50 voor een cola in Duitsland is echt teveel.

Buenísimo, y ya es la segunda vez que voy. Lo único malo es que no atienden en mesa y hay que hacer cola. No sé si para señores mayores hacen una excepción, aunque en estas dos veces sólo he visto gente joven en el restaurante. Pasta fresca y ves directamente cómo te lo preparan 👍

Essen war lecker, nur mussten wir leider 45 Minuten in der Schlange warten, obwohl nur 3 Leute vor uns waren.

Lecker war es und freundlich waren sie auch alle. Das ist doch schon mal mehr als die halbe Miete. Hatte zum ersten mal das Vergnügen, in einem Vapiano zu essen, deshalb kannte ich das Konzept der Bestellung noch nicht. Die Wartezeit in der Schlange hätte vielleicht etwas kürzer sein können, aber es war noch auszuhalten. Alles in allem ein positiver Aufenthalt, werde ich wieder mal probieren. Vielleicht nicht in der Filiale Münster, aber anderswo.
