VAPIANO for the last time... the concept doesn't work... especially not with the prices.

Münster city center, quick and convenient dining.

Pizza was good years ago...this time, the dough was rather dry...instead of tomato sauce, a sweet mush, and the salami was tasteless. My wife's carpaccio was okay.

All the women at the reception were unfriendly to us and made unnecessary comments, but one man was very nice and helpful.

Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food at all. The spaghetti only tasted like onions. Also, there was a hair on my companion's salami pizza – disgusting. I find that unacceptable. I wouldn't eat there again.

On the eve of a recent national holiday, the pizzas were out of stock from around 7 p.m., and there were only two types of pinsa left. Who would have guessed that a few more customers would show up on the evening before a holiday than on a "normal" Thursday evening...?! The employees seemed stressed and annoyed - sorry! It's not our fault if everything annoys you, right?! The food we ordered was okay...at least they gave us some gummy bears at the exit... Conclusion: Nope - I don't think the entire Vapiano concept is that great, and it's rather impersonal.

My salad tasted delicious and was well prepared. The man who prepared my salad was nice and attentive. I tried a slice of pizza from my friend, and it was okay, but not quite my taste. Another friend's pasta was also good, she said. The cakes in the display case didn't look very tasty, so I didn't order any. The shop wasn't crowded, almost empty. It's a good place to go with friends and chat.

The chef on the left laughs at guests as they order – disgusting, revolting, and morally abysmal. Allowing someone like that to "cook" is outrageous. No matter how good the food is, this person poisons everything! Unbelievable! (October 1, 2025, at 7:45 PM, Pasta Department)

For the second time on a Sunday, I encountered a woman with glasses working at the cash register and the bar. She was incredibly unfriendly and gave rude answers. Her manner towards customers is beyond inappropriate, which is why I can't recommend eating there.

People always expect the most from restaurants and are quick to criticize if something isn't 100% right. Therefore, I'm giving 5 stars to a team and a restaurant that strives to deliver 100%! And at fair prices in times when eating out is becoming increasingly expensive – the value for money here is just right. What I particularly like about the Vapiano in Münster on Königsstraße is the variety of seating, from cozy armchairs inside or high tables to outdoor tables – everyone will find their own "food spot" here.

The dishes are delicious, although my pasta was often very al dente, almost too firm for me. Otherwise, the additional dishes also varied somewhat according to the season. I used to go to Vapiano for lunch quite often, but unfortunately, it's become too expensive for me these days. You pay almost €20 for a pasta dish and a drink. There is also a bundle, but then you only get a small selection of dishes. It's a shame!

When Vapiano opened in Münster, it was a complete novelty and it was packed. The season when there was no pizza due to Covid and it was replaced by Pinsa was a bit strange, but we all understood. Pinsa is definitely worthless. Nowadays, it's clear that the quality in the kitchen has dropped. The ladies at the entrance and at the bar are two lovely people, but not the chefs who prepare the pasta, who should at least know better than to put their hands in the pans to remove a seasoning the customer didn't ask for. Now you can tell it's a fast food restaurant, when at first it didn't even seem like one.

Dear Sir or Madam, On Saturday, July 26, 2025, we were greeted at your store by a receptionist in a manner that we found extremely rude and disrespectful. I wonder how a person who clearly doesn't know how to communicate with customers can be assigned to the reception desk. I was at your store with my nephew, who was visiting me as a tourist. We simply asked for one card for the two of us – as we were explicitly told at your branches in Münster Kanalhafen and Osnabrück that it wasn't absolutely necessary for each person to have their own card. Therefore, we politely replied, "One card for both of us is enough." But to our great surprise, the cashier reacted completely inappropriately: She spoke loudly, almost shouting, and angrily said, "No! Each person must have their own card!" My nephew was stunned and asked me, "What the hell is that? Is this woman crazy? How can someone talk to customers like that?"* I was speechless myself. As a long-time customer who regularly visits your branches in Osnabrück and Münster Kanalhafen, I wasn't used to such behavior—quite the opposite: The employees there are always friendly and helpful. But in this branch, the tone was unacceptable. If an employee can't handle stress and can't show friendliness, in my opinion, she shouldn't work in the reception area or in any direct customer contact. I sincerely hope that you have a clarifying conversation with the employee in question. Sincerely

We were there on a Thursday evening. It wasn't very busy, but we still had to wait in line for a long time. What annoyed me was that two people simply couldn't enjoy a hot meal together. My food was cold, and the pizza wasn't even ready. The food and service were okay.

Worst restaurant I've ever been at. The pasta is old and just warmed up. The pizza's are barely, weirdly or not cut. The extra toppings (you pay for) are VERY lighly topped (€5 for 7 pieces of tiny chicken). The pizza's are burned or raw. You have to wait a while before you can eat outside and if you even try to leave for a second (to drop your bags at your table) they'll harrass you. The tables are even sticky. Came here with 7 people and we're all grossed out. Gross food, bad service and bad restaurant.

I rarely go there, but overall I've noticed that the quality has deteriorated every year. The pasta was considerably overcooked, almost like mush. The cherry tomatoes and basil had no taste. The smell of both was also neutral, which surprised me a bit about the basil. I'm guessing it was a bit old; still good, but not as fresh. The whole dish tasted bland and could have been improved with a few simple basics that everyone has at home. In particular, the fact that the products used were no longer as fresh, but still edible, and that the products used were not particularly high quality, led to this rating. The price would be justified if it weren't for the aforementioned points. Regarding the service: Since there is no customer service here, I can only rate the preparation of the food and the waiting time. Regarding waiting times, there is still room for improvement. Finally, the ambience; the entire concept, the quality of the food, including the ambience, seem like cafeteria food. The price-performance ratio should be adjusted accordingly. In summary: If you don't want to eat at the various fast food chains or kebab shops, you can still go here if necessary. However, the wait times are significantly longer and the prices are higher for food that you can get cheaper in various cafeterias/canteens.

6 stars for the very attractive blond manager

I was there on a Monday evening around 6 p.m. – the place was almost empty, but unfortunately, the visit was anything but pleasant. The restrooms were extremely dirty, even though it was barely busy. That just doesn't leave a good impression. On top of that, the employees barely spoke German, which made communication unnecessarily difficult. The next shock came with the meal: There was a beard hair in my pasta. After I complained, I got just a simple "Sorry," nothing else – no compensation, no offer, nothing at all. Very disappointing. The food itself was okay, but you can tell the quality has declined. Vapiano used to be better – but unfortunately, it's now going downhill. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Unfortunately, yesterday prompted us to write this review. Our children ate a total of three pasta gambaretti dishes. Both children vomited immediately after eating. The third child also vomited that same evening, which we therefore attribute to the food. I hope these reviews are taken seriously and that this will be used as an opportunity to re-examine quality standards.

The lady in the restaurant was very unfriendly. Aside from that, the food wasn't great value for money. I'd rather go to any other Italian restaurant in town. Definitely not worth a visit.

Oh, Vapiano. It's always like eating in a cafeteria. Loud. Crowded. But also so convenient. You know your way around. I have to say, the food is always delicious. And finding vegan options is easy, how wonderful. But unfortunately, you don't always eat together because one person finishes first and so on. And somehow it's loud, crowded, and moderately uncomfortable, even though everything is clean and tidy and not even that pretty. I found the chef to be incredibly friendly and attentive. And my meal, pasta with mushrooms, tasted excellent. The price is quite expensive, considering the self-service and the ambiance. Vapiano is certainly good in terms of selection and taste, but you'll find nicer seating elsewhere.

Considering there's no service and you have to wait in line like in a cafeteria, the prices are beyond belief. A medium pizza and a bottle of Coke Zero for €20 is simply too expensive for what's on offer. I can't believe the value for money in this concept. The taste, however, is convincing!

7:44 p.m. Ordered food for pickup at 8:30 p.m. I arrived at 8:29 p.m. and was told that the "system" hadn't received the order, but I had an email confirmation. Simply terrible!

The portions are manageable. The food was tasty, but I wouldn't go back or recommend the restaurant. The floor was dirty all over, and the tables weren't wiped during our visit. I don't think it's okay to leave food left under or on the tables. The staff either aren't supposed to clean the tables after guests or simply don't have the eye for it. There were no signs of cleaning cycles in the restroom.

The one star for the fact that the pinsa was delicious and the interior design was nice. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't gluten-free, even though I paid for it and said so. The end of the story is that yesterday and today I was in incredible pain and almost fainted. Celiac disease and intolerances are not just a whim but serious things. The restaurant should understand that if they offer something like that. In any case, I won't go there anymore.

My salad was delicious. An employee was folded up in my presence. That's not how you manage staff. On another day, an employee was sitting at the table chatting with guests. I was met with a very fake friendliness. A guest let her dog drink from a water glass. Let's hope the glasses are washed hot. …

The service staff at the entrance gave us a good introduction to the procedures. The selection is extensive and looks very good. We chose pizza with a drink for 13.50 per person. A very good offer. The size of the pizza was huge (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo) First impression of me, I can't do that. The atmosphere is wonderful Just go and explore for yourself. We had a lot of fun.

Worst salami pizza I've eaten in a long time. Unfortunately, I noticed it too late and then didn't dare to go back - partly because it was really busy. In terms of taste, it was at the lower limit of “ok” to bad. The bad thing was, on the one hand, that it wasn't in the oven long enough and that half of the pizza was missing the cheese (see photo). I definitely can't recommend it.

The food was very tasty. The staff just seem disinterested these days and are either on their cell phones or only half listening when ordering. That was really better.

“Found” the restaurant during a visit to Münster looking for a quick lunch. It was a Sunday and the restaurant was busy and not unpleasantly busy. At the entrance you get a card on which the orders are saved, you visit the individual distribution stations to order from what is on offer and then pay at the exit. The pasta is made in an on-site station and then freshly prepared by the kitchen staff. As a starter we had a Pinsa Margherita, pasta with pesto and risotto with mushrooms. For pasta and risotto you wait at the counter until they are prepared, for pinsa you get a disc that vibrates when it is ready. If you know what you're getting into, the ordering process is fine. So not for a romantic date, but if you don't have an appetite for burgers etc, it's a good alternative. The food was tasty, well prepared and perfectly fine. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself looks like any Vapiano restaurant. The service, as far as we had contact, was friendly and helpful. When the meal is finished you don't have to wait for the waiter, you just go to the cash register and pay I didn't really feel comfortable leaving used dishes on the table, but we couldn't see any possibility of returning them. Maybe we missed that in the hustle and bustle. All in all, everything was fine for a system restaurant.

It's a shame that some of the employees there lack the necessary friendliness or politeness. And then gossiping about other guests to one guest is pretty much the last thing. Never go to this restaurant again! Totally smudged tables overflowing with used dishes. I don't know any other Vapiano branches....sad.....

We've been back to Vapiano for some time today. Because we can eat gluten-free with our children 🍕 without any worries and we also like it. We have always appreciated the atmosphere and friendliness here. Unfortunately, this now leaves a lot to be desired. Especially in the soup area, incomprehensible. Normally I give relatively positive reviews to the restaurants I visit, but this time it's really impossible and different. We arrived around 9:20 p.m. and were really hungry and walked past the unmanned cash register into the Vapiano and were rudely yelled at that we should politely ask for tickets first... only there was no one at the cash register... then we arrived at the ordering counter , this was already eagerly cleared away and the order - salad and pizzas - was accepted with grumbling. Not nice. I then shamelessly wanted to order an espresso and two cookies at the bar and was then rudely told that the machine was off and the bar was closed anyway. When I asked whether I could at least get the two cookies - especially since payment was only made at the exit - I was greeted extremely rudely and asked "whether I also wanted to discuss this with "you""... to my reply that I was responsible for that behavior What she found very rude, especially since all the ordering stations were supposedly still open, she grudgingly offered to make an espresso. I then politely declined the offer; I had the cardboard open. In my opinion there was a bad atmosphere in the shop, the young woman who served me is probably completely out of place in the catering industry with her service orientation that is to be discussed. It's a shame for the business and the paying customers, because the food was actually okay, but we are no longer attracted to this Vapiano with such outrageous service.

We were looking for a place to have a quick meal with a group. Vapiano is extremely suitable there. The food was good but the service was bad. Clearing empty tables took a very long time, which meant that many empty tables could not yet be used because they were full of dirty plates and glasses.

The place is beautiful. When you enter, they give you a card, you order with it and pay the balance on the card when you exit. We bought a sausage funghi pizza and a pesto spinach pizza. In terms of taste, both were mediocre. Coke is 4.5 Euros 🤣🤣 Generally people eat pasta, you can try their pasta.

We haven't been to Vapiano for a while and unfortunately we found that the prices had been increased there too... The food was OK but unfortunately nothing special anymore, you can get the same salad and pizza cheaper at my pizzeria next door... The service and friendliness at the checkout and coffee counter was excellent, which unfortunately cannot be said about the service counter at Salat & Pizza... The huge drawback is that unfortunately there is no internet reception in the Vapioano and the restaurant itself does not offer a functioning WiFi! Therefore, absolutely unsuitable for people with the idea of ​​drinking a coffee on their laptop or surfing the Internet while having coffee and cake! Overall the rating is therefore only OK, but no longer a highlight in Münster...

Very nicely located in the heart of Münster, very nice, friendly atmosphere and service. The food was great and the price was TOP.

Rude and aggressive staff I planned to eat here with my wife, daughter, and another couple. I wanted to go outside for some fresh air while my wife stood in line to order food. While making an attempt to exit, I was rudely approuch by a staff member. She demanded me to give the card back. I told her that my wife had it. She insisted, started to get angry with me, and even shouted at me. There was absolutely no reason for her rude behaviour and to treat me like that. This was my last day in Münster and I left the city horified by the ludacrous behaviour of a staff member at this facility.

The idea is interesting, the bottom of the Pinza was too hard and the price-performance ratio is too high for the small Pinza. The taste was ok but nothing special. The man at the pinza station was friendly but what service should you rate here? Do you pick up your food like in a canteen?

Unfortunately, the concept no longer works. The food is still great, but for just under €20 with a drink, I'd rather go to an Italian restaurant with service than stand in line for half an hour as if I were in a university canteen.

Totally what you'd expect and that's not a bad thing! I go here for a reliable Caesar salad and am always left satisfied. The food is too expensive for what it is and they certainly skimp on chicken with salads. Plastic containers are I guess a franchise thing + totally outdated but hopefully they replace them with something more sustainable soon. I'll be back if not purely for the convenience.

The fact that they pretend to be Italian is just a disgrace. Not even a newborn can cook pasta that badly. At most, the Moon is as far away from the Earth as Al dente. Cooked completely carelessly, Aglio e Olio felt with whole garlic cloves. Incredible. Just somehow tried to snip it in, dumped the noodles carelessly into the hot water and took it straight back out. You can't imagine. I always say: an Italian is only as good as his Aglio e Olio and unfortunately things don't look so rosy here...

Normally google would give 4 stars, but for the food I would have given 6 stars. So in total 5 :-) Ambience is ok, ...a bit crowded and busy....Service is just pick up yourself, but that's the way you know beforehand. all nice.

If you're here with kids and have to queue for 30 minutes at two different places for pasta and pizza because it's so busy, we think that warrants a bad review! In other Vapiano branches you can either order everything at one point or even online from the square, for example in the branches in Bonn, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg and Hanover. We like to visit Vapiano because of the gluten-free offer. We are very happy with the food, but we would have liked to have eaten it together. This was not possible and the children had to be left alone.

I have rarely eaten a worse pizza. The pizza barely made it out of the oven, the onions on it were still raw. Totally bland in taste.

Price performance just doesn't fit. Pinsa is just ok, tastes like a finished product, but it costs around 15 euros. Service was rather unfriendly/short. Ambience quite nice, but too loud when it's full.

Get ready for a truthful story: Food: I ordered the Reef n Beef Pasta. Ok in itself, not objectionable, but very stingy with the basil (1 leaf) & tomatoes (2). In addition, the beef was tender and juicy, but had no taste. Only bite-proof water. NOW THE CROP: I asked if the lobster sauce had cream in it since I'm lactose intolerant, which I also mentioned. The cook then replied rudely that there was no other way to prepare the sauce. I didn't insist on it either, luckily the vegan cream was suggested to me, which I then chose. However, as it turned out, I broke the bowl at home and had severe cramps in my stomach (typical reaction to lactose :) ). So the normal cream was foisted on me anyway. My friend's pinsa still looked raw, was also low in basil and was swimming in tomato sauce. Staff: The two "ladies" at reception didn't seem very discreet, quite the opposite. After paying, they asked how the food tasted. I replied "that's fine" and they insisted on actually arguing with me that the meat couldn't be tasteless since the cooks were so good etc. They also looked like they worked in a shisha club and, more inappropriately, in the catering industry. Usually had good experiences there. Service, food, concept everything was great. The last time I was there was 45 minutes before closing time. The service person at the entrance asked if the kitchen was still open and if we could still order. We were told no problem, the kitchen would be open for another 15 minutes. We line up, kitchen staff extremely stressed. Unkind to us because we were late. Accordingly, the food was unusually hasty and significantly worse than usual. It's kind of a shame. If the cooks no longer like it, we should know about it at the entrance. Overall, unfortunately, the service was overwhelmed that evening. Otherwise I can only recommend the store!

Good flavors and variety of pastas. It's not as friendly for tourists or non-German speakers, as it's hard to understand how the ordering system works. When you arrive, they hand you a card, then you go to the kitchen counters and explain to the cook what you want to order, you scan your card on a screen where nothing appears, and then they enter your order information. You serve your food and then, when you're done, you go to the front counter and pay with your card. Strange.

If you're looking for friendliness and a good atmosphere at dinner, don't come here. The food is average, and the rudeness doesn't do anything to improve this. 2 stars at least the toilet was clean.

I was at Vapiano in Münster for the first time about 2 years ago and today for the second time. I didn't remember the restaurant being as bad as I experienced it today. The staff when taking the order was totally unfriendly and disinterested. The pizza was delicious but the price was absolutely unreasonable for the size. Especially when you consider that there is no service at the table and you have to get everything yourself. You should also be careful in the toilet. The water for washing my hands came out of the tap so hot that I burned my fingers. After my 4 companions, who each had a pasta dish, complained about the very firm pasta and also the portion size (all normal eaters) and left over €100 in total. It was the last Vapiano visit to Münster for me/us.

For me personally, it's now far too expensive for a self-service restaurant. I also found the portion to be too small and one ingredient was forgotten in my pasta dish. This will be my last visit.

The place looks very nice from the outside but the staff are pretty indifferent. Especially the blonde waitress with glasses who worked there was very rude. Their relationship with customers was very bad. He showed arrogant and arrogant behavior. He got the answer he deserved. I recommend you consider this when choosing a venue...

Vapiano Innenstadt: Staff, very helpful, friendly and kind and all foreigners! Definitely great staff, 5 stars for the service! I cannot say the same for the food. I ordered Lasagna with beef which had a high price but inside had only 10gram of meat and all cheese. You can save your meet maybe in the fridge and don't put it at all!

Still tasty, but significantly increased basic prices. In the menu, a pasta add-on is also very misleadingly advertised for apparently €1, which then costs €5 for a few pieces of chicken. When asked, this is not an isolated case, but it is obviously accepted. Definitely not a recommendation anymore
