Great burger place and great currywurst place too! Food was delicious! We ordered burgers and currywurst with fries and herb fries! Service was okay and friendly. Unfortunately, people were having such loud conversations at the counter that, in the almost empty restaurant at the time, we felt like we were disturbing them… But otherwise, a great place and highly recommended. Parking is a bit tricky.

Best burgers in town. Very friendly and attentive staff. We'll be back.

Ever since the grumpy little Talahon started working there, the place hasn't been running the way it used to. I've heard from several people that he's been very rude and not exactly cheerful towards customers. As long as he's there, I'm reluctant to eat there.

As always, a delight! Whether it's juicy burgers or currywurst, from mild to really hot, everyone will find something they like here. The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full. The fries are a real highlight: crispy, delicious, and with a wide selection of dips. They even have special fries that are truly something different. The prices are slightly on the high side, but absolutely reasonable considering the quality and portion size. For me, this is a regular in Münster for really good fast food.

I drove all the way from Warendorf, and they tell me they cleaned everything. An hour before closing time! At 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. The most I could get out of the deep fryer is a few more things. Great work ethic! I won't leave a single cent more in the shop.

We had a lovely evening. The beer garden is very cozy. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

Sorry, I've always been satisfied. Except for my last visit. The tables were sticky and hadn't been cleaned in a while. The waitress was unfriendly. I remember the burger as better. The bun was extremely hard and there was very little sauce. A strip of bacon was an extra. The fries were enough to hang a picture. No one asked if there was anything missing. I ordered the second drink myself at the bar. It wasn't even full. So, I'll try other places first.

Honest cuisine, friendly service, really tasty, nice neighborly atmosphere, unfortunately rather expensive, but still always worth an evening.

The food was truly delicious. However, the waitress was a disaster. I felt like an outsider. My drinks didn't arrive. Luckily, the next employee noticed. A shame for the company. I'd only recommend it for the food.

The food was okay, but the price is extremely high for the quality! The service is abysmal! Even though the place was empty, it took a long time for a waiter to come and take our order. It took another long time for a waiter to pay, and the food, which was taken back to the kitchen to be packed, was never brought to our table. When we picked up the food from the counter, the waiter responded passively aggressively.

If you love fat burgers, you've come to the right place 👌

We were there in the evening and there were about 6 tables occupied. The service wasn't really friendly, I was given the wrong drink, I thought: "OK, that can happen, it tastes good, it costs the same, it doesn't matter". Unfortunately, it turned out that almost everything at the next table, from drinks to food, was wrong or forgotten. When paying, someone wanted to pick something up and they returned everything because it was probably wrong too, it seems to be systemic. The friendliness and service were very sad, despite the few guests, one waitress was on the cell phone for 20 minutes. This was noticeable because I was waiting for a waitress to come by and ask if everything was okay, because our two burgers and fries took about 40 minutes, despite the said few guests. After the 40 minutes, we and the other guests sitting around us saw a waitress again, perhaps the cell phone battery was empty and she remembered her actual job. The food, consisting of two normal burgers and sweet potato fries, wasn't really good. I find it somehow sad that sauces, especially standards like ketchup and mayonnaise, cost extra. The meat somehow tasted like nothing and crumbled when cut through. The bun was dry and crumbled along with the meat. We couldn't pay after the meal because no one came again, so after 20 minutes I went to the counter to pay. To which I first had to explain where I was sitting. What was added was that a noticeable number of tables had not been cleared, especially the tables of the guests who left about 30 minutes before us were still fully loaded, this picture continued to emerge when we looked around while walking inside and outside despite two waitresses and a bartender. But don't worry, even after our digestive walk and the subsequent walk past, the familiar tables were still not cleared and of course ours too. Result: Unfortunately, I have to fully agree with the previous negative votes and rate them even worse in some cases. Too bad

I had dinner here with my wife. We ordered a cheeseburger, a veggie halloumni and potato wedges with sour cream. Plus an elderberry spritzer and a light beer. The food was very tasty. The two burgers were a feast for us. The wedges were ok, a little dry and without salt/seasoning. There was a bit too much sauce on the cheeseburger for my opinion, but that is my subjective opinion and therefore has no effect on the points awarded. The quality and taste was very good 👍 A real highlight is the large selection of beer straight from the barrel. There was a large selection from mushroom to old to wheat and light. The service was very nice and friendly, without being or seeming fake. Really authentically nice. The atmosphere is rustic but cozy. No special luxury, but it's not needed and wouldn't fit here. We'll be back 👍

Nice service, food is great and the fries are nice and crispy. You can also sit outside well. Of course it sometimes takes longer if it's very crowded, but usually that's all good.

Bad service, we waited 20 minutes for someone to check in because the service preferred to eat at the bar table instead of working. really sad The kitchen is totally dirty and you can see a pile of food rotting under the counters in the dining room, so it wasn't just yesterday. There were rats running around outside and it smells like a toilet everywhere. I can't miss anyone! We will never enter the store again.

Positive overall impression. Was there twice. Currywurst was delicious. The sauce didn't completely blow me away but it was still good. I liked the smash burger with cheese sauce. We ate burgers outside here on Thursdays after work. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was delicious and the service was friendly. We'd love to come back! We can recommend the burger with goat cheese and also the vegan pulled jackfruit burger.

Currywurst and fries were okay - unfortunately nothing more because the price-performance ratio wasn't right. Currywurst 4.95, fries 4.80, mayo 0.90, non-alcoholic hefeweizen 5.90 is too expensive for me.

We celebrated our daughter's teenage birthday in the bowling alley in the basement and tasted the currywurst with fries and spent the afternoon in the sun in front of the restaurant. Very tasty, spicy sausage and crispy fries! The crew was on their toes, super friendly and listened to the girls' every wish. Prices are definitely fair too!

We're not mad - we're disappointed! The food was very tasty, but not the entire order was delivered to us. Unfortunately, after requesting, we were not given a refund and were only offered a formal apology.

Disappointing burger. High-priced add-ons, fries must be purchased separately, no free sauces. (14€ burger, 2€ braised onions, 4.80€ fries, 0.90€ ketchup, 1.20€ sour cream). It's a disgrace that there are no free sauces with a large portion of fries (€7)! Meat extremely dry. Rolls cold. Service nice, but generally disappointing.

I emphasized twice that the tofu curry sausage was supposed to be vegan and I was still brought one with meat. I felt really sick after eating because I can't tolerate animal products. I pointed this out and there was no apology or discount.

You can do it. Healthy is different. Currywurst, burgers and fries with various dips. All in all good and cheap. Nice staff and good ambience.

Steak strips were complained about being well-done instead of medium, and were then expelled from the restaurant by the waiter and if payment for the drinks had not been touched had to be clarified by the police, never again!!! It is interesting that there is an anonymous answer here, without naming the author, who is lying and claims the guests are lying. The fact is: We were only able to finish the drinks minimally because we were told to leave immediately. Why should we pay for drinks that we weren't allowed to drink? Nobody would do that. The food on site is very tasty. However, we have now ordered take-away twice and EVERY time something was wrong or missing. The first time I ordered, I rode my bike there TWO more times and when we got home we realized that it was wrong again (meat instead of vegan sausage, forgot fries, forgot sauces) Today we wanted to try it again (everyone makes mistakes. Maybe the first time was just bad luck) and this time two of the sauces we ordered were missing and the salad was anything but big (as is usually the case). Really really a shame.

I ordered a chilly burger with fries to take away. I looked for the jalapenos in vain. There weren't any. A bunch of tomatoes and really not even a little spicy. Unfortunately, the preparation is very careless and for the price you can expect a little more. The fries are always great but it's not rocket science... I enjoyed going there for years and even in the restaurant you could eat well. Somehow this store has become so run down over the last few years. I won't order anything there again. The competition is clearly better. It's also a shame that the owner doesn't seem to be interested in reviews. I cannot recommend this store.

Unfortunately we weren't thrilled at all. The entire store seemed very unhygienic. The toilet stank extremely, the trash can was so full that everything was leaking out from under the lid. Paid over €25 for a Currywurst fries and a Currywurst children's fries. In my opinion this is not justified at all. My son couldn't eat the currywurst because the sauce was spicy. The fries were old and hard. Didn't taste like anything. The lady who took our order was nice. Nobody came to pay for ages. We then went to the front of the counter and paid at the door. Unfortunately, really not a recommendation.

By far the unfriendly staff in Münster. Service insults guests. My companion and I were speechless. I can hardly believe whether this approach is in the spirit of management. Was a guest there for years and will never enter this store again. I can also get better quality currywurst for €10 elsewhere. Perhaps training staff would also be an option.

I had the Oklahoma onion smashed burger. I was actually happy with the burger, except that the bread was a bit dry. Unfortunately, my friend wasn't happy with her currywurst. Rustic Lakal refined with a modern touch. Staff was friendly. Best regards

The food I had, the citizen with Flengstrak, was a disgrace. Three small pieces of meat, the bun was burnt and not yet thawed. I will never enter the store again.

From a vegan perspective, this is rather worrying. I ordered a vegan sausage and got a normal sausage. A replacement was prepared immediately, but in retrospect I'm no longer sure that it was vegan. It would be better to be able to clearly distinguish between them visually and in terms of taste. Overall, rather worrying. Always pay attention to what you are served! Addendum: I assume that the second sausage was also not vegan, or was simply very bad. Hands off!

The food is actually quite passable, for once it was alone. However, the service staff was so grumpy today and really wanted to move me to a table for two, even though the shop was half empty... I wasn't hungry anymore. Don't think I'll be going back any time soon...

I would prefer not to give a star. The older gentleman who claimed to be the boss here was unfriendly right from the start. We were simply asked to sit at a table. We did this too. Due to my pregnancy, we chose a seat with a backrest. The gentleman didn't like this at all because it was the only place that hadn't been cleared yet. We asked for your understanding as I need a seat with a backrest due to my circumstances. He was completely uncomprehending and responded disrespectfully and unfriendly by saying that he had to clear away first and that he couldn't understand why you didn't just take another seat. We emphasized again that a seat with a backrest is needed. The gentleman then responded again disrespectfully with, "Yes, if you don't like that, then leave." We didn't need to be told this twice. We left this restaurant outraged and will never enter it again. Impossible!

Currywurst and burgers in many variations, really tasty and friendly service.

So far we have always been very satisfied with Burgercult. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience placing an order over the phone today. The wrong dish was packed, but we only noticed this when we got home. We then went back to pick up the correct order. Unfortunately this was wrong again (only noticed at home because the sauce was unfortunately the wrong one). Conclusion: drove to the store and back twice, paid €50 and still got the wrong food. That was probably the last visit there. Too bad!

If you're in the area and you're hungry, this is definitely a recommendation -> Good, filling food for a normal price (I was surprised that it was so cheap). What I was missing was the nightcap afterwards! That's why I only give it four stars for the service. The other reason was that the staff was on their cell phones a lot that evening -> the place was also sparsely attended on Monday evening and new staff were also being trained (which is necessary!), but it was still noticeably busy. It also made him seem unfocused. I can still recommend it, it tastes very good and everyone in our group was full for their money. Thumbs up, but also room for improvement ☝️😉

If you take over a good restaurant, the food should be at least as good. Once upon a time it was very good! Cobwebs in the corners, burgers so dry and the fries rock hard. No, I cannot and will not recommend that!

So somehow our food was forgotten and we were then promised a chip on the house, which didn't come even after a long wait! Next time nh Dönis and nh nice Cola - cheaper and better in all respects!

The currywurst and fries are always a hit here. As you can see, the dance break, that's what they call the big "Manta platter" here, is richly covered and fills up even big eaters like me 😉 There are also different spicinesses that you can book for a small additional charge (30 cents)... as well as an incredibly good list of additional sauces/mayonnaise variations. Personally, the highest spiciness was definitely enough for me yesterday, next time I'll go a level milder 😅. Addendum September 15, 2024 Today we had perfect smashed burgers and large fries for the three of us, it was just perfect. The next visit won't be long in coming. I hope the smashed burger finally becomes a permanent fixture on the menu 😉

Overpriced takeaway food. The bread on our burgers was dry and the meat was tough. The service also seemed very inexperienced for these prices. Fries that slipped off the plate in front of our table and no one asked for drinks when we sat in front of our empty glasses. In retrospect, it probably wasn't that bad considering the high prices for drinks (0.5L soft drink €6.40). There wasn't much going on yet and the two service staff still preferred to stand around at the counter and chill on their cell phones. A little more service training would definitely not hurt the staff. Especially with the prices for what is actually fast food. We won't eat there again and can't recommend it. Apart from that, you can also treat yourself to higher quality food for the money.

So far I've enjoyed going to Burger Cult and also had food delivered or picked up. This lunchtime I picked up fries, wedges and sweet potatoes. These should be consumed after 10 minutes in the original packaging, which was sometimes the case. However, the three large portions were dry and fried so crispy that even the sweet potatoes cracked when you took a bite. The whole thing for €24. A table in the restaurant was occupied while it was being prepared, and an employee from the kitchen had enough time to express his dissatisfaction about the service chips to the person writing the advertising boards... Unfortunately, it seems to have shown itself during the frying. It's a shame... the sweet potato fries were once a reason to visit the store.

The citizens are very tasty and special

[Update] I still like to come here for fries and curry sausages. Yesterday, however, to avoid fat, I ordered the sweet potato burger and the mixed salad: two hands of mostly arugula carelessly thrown on the plate with dressing (around six euros) and a very dispassionate and inedible, tasteless and undecorated burger for €14.25, which also came at room temperature, were not worth the money. After a round of drinks we were no longer asked about our drink requests, strange. It may be that the bored-looking service and the kitchen were having a very, very bad day, but I definitely won't be ordering burgers here again. I come here regularly - the vegan currywurst is without a doubt the best in the city, and I've always found the service to be quick and attentive. I find the portions to be quite generous - there is also a "children's fries" for children off the menu. The rest of the offering is also impressive with many vegan options, e.g. the burgers.

Unfortunately, we had an extremely unpleasant experience during our visit to Burger and Currykult in Münster. The three of us were there to eat burgers and also had a Neo Taste voucher, which we gave directly when ordering. When it came time to pay, we wanted to redeem the voucher as planned to get a burger. However, to our great astonishment, we were denied this. The employee on site showed no understanding and treated us with unreasonable unfriendliness. Despite our polite inquiries, he remained stubborn and unreasonable until the store manager was called in, who ultimately agreed with us. But unfortunately the incident wasn't over yet. Out of spite, the frustrated employee made us wait for 30 minutes before we could finally pay. His mood was obvious: he didn't speak to us anymore and slammed the EC machine roughly on the table. We have never experienced such rude and disrespectful behavior in the catering industry. It's really disappointing that such an incident spoiled our evening. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend this place in any way.

Friendly and accommodating and very helpful

We were there with several people. Service was friendly, food was okay and cheap.

I ordered a Sylter sausage and cheese ranch fries from Uber Eats. The Sylt sausage was supposed to contain garlic shrimp - instead it was much cheaper shrimp. The ranch dressing on the fries was also missing and there was only cheese sauce. For almost €18, it's a disgrace.

The food is of very different quality. The fries, for example, can be just right, but at other times they can be completely oversalted or hard and dark brown from being fried for far too long (' can happen, but why do they come out like that??) We have had similar experiences with other dishes. The staff are friendly and attentive, the beer is well served and the food on offer is very diverse for a restaurant like this. The prices correspond to those of “real” restaurants, but if the quality of the preparation remained the same, that would be bearable.

We ordered 2 burgers to pick up today: 1 Cultburger and a chicken burger each in a spelled bun, plus a portion of fries. The Cultburger (including the bun) was very tasty. The fries were OK too. The chicken burger was a complete disgrace: the bun was completely dry and broke when touched lightly, the meat was old and tough and of course completely dried out. The sauce had soaked into the bun and dried out beyond recognition, and parts of the lettuce were wilted. As compensation I was offered a portion of fries… Very weak! Since there was a direct comparison, I was really more than upset about the statement that the burger was fresh! Poor!

On the surface, the store looks good. However, the price/performance ratio is not right. Prices on average are a bit too expensive for the quality of the food. French fries and sweet potato fries are sometimes very salty. Ambience (quite cheap) and service rather mediocre. There are much better burger shops in the city and you can also get much better currywurst elsewhere.

Just to rave about in all areas - service map ambience offers

It is simply not advisable to visit there and I would be happy to explain to you in detail why I say this: We were there in the evening and ordered burgers, fries and currywurst. The meat was crumbly and the fries were increasingly hard like chips. The first waitress, a young man, was also clumsy by spilling fries while serving. It wasn't that bad, but it's still mentioned because of the overall impression. When paying, I told the second waitress, a young woman, that the food wasn't that good. She was the only bright spot that evening, showed understanding and reacted completely appropriately. We wanted to redeem our 30 euro voucher that we had received as a gift when paying. A few minutes after we gave the voucher to the 2nd condition, the owner of the shop came to our table to tell us that he could not accept our voucher because, in his opinion, it was a fake. He explained that we had to pay the full amount and that the voucher number given was. not recorded in his books. He made no attempt at all to find a compromise if necessary. Likewise, his expression towards a very angry customer was just plain rude. My now angry statement that I was not at all satisfied with the food was not addressed at all. He was only interested in the allegedly fake voucher, which he kept to make matters worse. After we had to pay, the second waitress came again and at least apologized. Like I said, she behaved really well. I've actually enjoyed going to Burgercult so far, but I'll never set foot in that store again.

Large selection of burgers. However, clearly too expensive. Especially the drinks. Charging €6.40 for a 0.5l Regina is a lot, even for Münster. That doesn't invite you to linger. The staff should also be careful not to serve when they are very sniffly. Sure, everyone has a staff shortage, but if you're paying so much, you as a guest shouldn't have to worry about getting sick while enjoying the drinks.

Can only have very tasty burgers and currywurst

We cycled past here today and of course we knew the main houses at the thermal baths and we decided to have dinner here. We weren't disappointed and sat on the terrace. Everything fine.

Unfortunately the price is a bit exaggerated. The service took quite a long time. We were unfairly pushed into the right corner by the waitress... Unfortunately, a colleague had to throw up, which is why we were insulted in the worst possible way by the owner or chef. I have never experienced anything like this from a restaurant business. The food is good, the service too. But the prices are no longer justified. €6.40 for 0.5L of cola is more than cheeky. 12 - 20€ for a burger without side dishes is also too much, the price/performance ratio is simply no longer right.

When I go on business trips, the location always has to be on my list, the Bergkasburger is amazing! Another favorite of mine is the Habaro Burger, it's rare that a restaurant dares to offer something spicy! Keep it up, whoever dares wins!

TOP address for good food and an excellent selection of barley juices.

Really very expensive and very high prices. A pity. Actually good potential and delicious fries creations, especially the Cheese Ranch fries. But unfortunately the prices are unaffordable for average earners, let alone students. 13.65€ for a cheeseburger and a large normal fries without anything for 7€!! So please. You can't find prices like that anywhere in Hamburg, and if you do, the burger comes with fries. If you want to pay luxury prices for takeaways, then you've come to the right place. All in all, unfortunately not recommended due to the extreme pricing.

Great burger, great side dish, unfortunately very hefty prices… The burger was absolutely great, the dessert was unfortunately super mini, I expected more. I got a bit of a shock when paying, they charge handsomely for the good food. But that wouldn't stop me from eating there again.

It's too bad I live so far away. We are here every time I visit my sister. We found the burgers really tasty, I even think it's one of my top 3 burgers so far. And the chilli cheese fries are an absolute must. I can't say how the price has developed, it's been two years since I was last here. I hope we see each other again soon.

Top shop for eating, bowling, drinking... Went there with a larger group to go bowling. At first there weren't enough staff on site, which is why it took longer. The boss apologized later, everything was ok. When there were enough staff, both eating and drinking went quickly and always with a funny saying on our lips. Even the cook took a quick look at us. The "view" from the bowling alley into the stairwell could perhaps be improved, it is quite unsightly but unfortunately necessary for ventilation. All in all, a successful afternoon, we were extremely satisfied.

My favorite burger shop: Great selection of delicious and high quality food. I am particularly enthusiastic about the vegetarian offering and can recommend the Princess Pea Burger.

Very disappointing evening. The chicken burger consisted of 80% arugula salad and totally fell apart. The guacamole that was supposed to be on it was just avocado pieces carelessly pressed onto the bun. This is not guacamole… Unfortunately, the chicken was tough and the burger was dry. So not juicy at all and not enjoyable. The baked cheese fries tasted and looked just like frozen fries. The gratinated cheese had the consistency and taste of cheese sauce from a tube... Because the fries were served on an extremely hot plate (which initially burned you), the fries "sweated" from below and were completely soggy. Serving the fries on a rack would have been more logical. The western burger was okay. For a total of 47€ that was outrageous (2 burgers, fries, sauce, 2 drinks)….
