I've been there three/four times. For breakfast or in the evening. The service is always great, but due to the size it sometimes takes a while for someone to arrive. I always find food delicious. Small menu, but something for everyone. The location is great, but unfortunately a bit noisy, that's the only disadvantage. Everything else really good 👍

Inside the restaurant is really nice in urban style. You can sit outside and see a lot of what's going on. We were happy with our visit and would come again.

The food and cocktails were phenomenal. It is almost impossible not to find something you like because there is a lot of variety. The service is attentive, the waiters are all really nice people and the atmosphere is good, although the music is loud enough at 10pm to converse but to celebrate very well. Very busy on the weekend so it's best to book if you're in a group.

Very modern restaurant, just outside Heidelberg's old town. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly and the food came to the table hot and very quickly despite the full house. However, if you prefer it quiet and cozy, this is not the place for you. We sat relatively far back in a corner, which was where the background noise was. I would recommend making a reservation in advance.

Enjoy food in the beer garden when the weather is nice. For lunch for two. Great service good food, good price. Would love to come back.

Really cool place. Walked in and was sat immediately. The servers came by and took our drink orders quickly. Cool design, it's a loy Bigger than it looks from the outside. We had the pizza and Chicken Sandwich. Drinks Vanilla Sky and Hot Chili Twist were great as well. 👍🏼

Very good restaurant with a huge variety of food. (Normal and vegan) Prices are average Helpful staff Ordered vegetable Pizza, My Thai (chicken), My Curry (vegan), Roschetta and seeet potato (appetizer) All were good and delicious. In summer it is quite too hot, no AC 🫠 Recommended!

Sensational... staff, location and food simply great

The dining experience at Urban Kitchen in Heidelberg was exceptional. The veggie burger was incredibly flavorful, and the fries were perfectly crispy, offering a satisfying bite. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Additionally, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Every detail, from the food to the ambiance, contributed to a wonderful overall experience.

We enjoyed the food very much. There were also some delicious vegan alternatives. The vegan burger was very good!

The burgers are delicious, but I was disappointed. They offered pasta in tomato sauce for my child. When this food came it was impossible to eat. Even with extra ordered cheese and salt and pepper it was still inedible. I complained and was told that this sauce actually goes on the pizza. If I had been told beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered it. They didn't come to us either, so I had to pay the full price for a complete meal, which went back. I can recommend it for burgers otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Very tasty, not exactly cheap, but definitely a recommendation if you want to eat well, this is the right place. Nice college. Definitely coming back

Nice place to meet with large groups. Unfortunately the day I took the video, while serving me, a waitress spilled the drinks on me and my jacket 😭

Firstly we went to drink schorlen they brought the wrong flavour. When we told them they suddenly became furious. We asked brunette waitress (without glasses) to bring napkins with french fries and the waitress literally threw them to the table. It was a terrible service.

The slightly underground feel inside can't counteract the terrible food. The rice is dry, the burgers overpriced and they forgot half the order for big groups.

Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr Lecker. Der Service stark von der Bedienung abhängig, von sehr aufmerksam bis länger 4 leere Gläser und Blickkontakt ohne Erfolg war alles dabei. Wir saßen in einem Nebenraum ziemlich weit hinten, dort war es vom Ambiente sehr schön aber die Metallstühle sehr unbequem. Aber alles in allem wahr es ein gemütlicher Abend.

We were there today for a quick lunch for two. The drinks were served quickly and were good, as was our starter. The vegan Mie noodle spring rolls lacked a bit of flavor in the filling; without the good dipping sauce they would have been bland. Unfortunately, my main course, the Thai Basil Chilli, wasn't what I had imagined either... Anyone who knows Pad Krapau might know what I was expecting when I read "Thai Basil Chilli Sauce" and expect something similar. Unfortunately, there was no Thai basil to taste or see in the dish and there was nothing spicy either. According to the kitchen, the basil was probably in the brown sauce and the rice was "garnished" with a whole (unchopped) chili pepper. Should I have bitten into it while I was eating the dish? I think a Thai basil chilli sauce should taste like it and contain a bit of heat. My companion really enjoyed the vegan pizza rolls, which is why I gave it four stars for the food and overall. I would have hoped for more from the food, but perhaps other dishes there are better. Maybe we'll come back.

Good day, my friends and I ate together at this restaurant on August 25th, 2024. Three of us vomited for over 5 hours the following night. The following day we also had diarrhea. I wanted to warn you about this store because apparently the hygiene guidelines are not being followed. I'm also thinking about reporting this store to the Ministry of Health.

During a recent business trip, I enjoyed taking in the modern feel of this stunning eatery. Maria welcomed me with a smile and immediately took my table's order. I ordered one of their handmade burgers and pizza rolls. Everything was fantastic and the food quickly came out freshly made to order. Delicious food, great restaurant. I can highly recommend the Vegan Crispy Chicken and the vegan pizza rolls. The vegan avocado burger was also ok, but not that good. The service was a bit confusing at times, but that's understandable given how busy the place is.

Best burger far and wide, and one of the coziest and best locations in Heidelberg! The offering is excellent, the ambience is great and the service is absolutely excellent and super organized (even with a full house). I always notice how friendly and helpful the waitresses are and how fit they are - because you don't have to wait long and you always feel very welcome. In summer you can sit outside in the spacious outdoor area. Absolutely great, highly recommended again and again!

It was pretty stuffy/warm at brunch yesterday. The buffet had a wide selection and something for everyone, including vegetarians. Great price. But in rush hour you'll miss out on one or two waiters...

A nice restaurant on the edge of Heidelberg's old town with a large outdoor area, which was well attended at 28°C. Despite the large number of guests, the service was attentive and quick. The food was excellent and the prices were fair. I particularly liked that the training was calm and patient even under the greatest pressure.

We had dinner there on a stopover in Heidelberg. It was good for a quick bite to eat but I would go somewhere else for a nice meal. However, I think I'm no longer the target group.

The waiters were very friendly and positive, and the food was delicious, but the only thing I felt uncomfortable about was that there were too many bees. They were flying and crawling on the drink cups and food. I don't quite accept it, but the locals don't seem to care.

It was my first time here and I wouldn't order a burger again. You could already see visually that the bread was very dark and it was therefore also very dry. Meat was added to this, and the delicious sauce counteracted that somewhat. That's why I was happy to have chosen the salad as a side dish, which added some freshness. As a neutral rating, I would like to mention about the salad that only the lettuce leaves saw dressing, peppers, cucumbers, onions etc. not. Since this restaurant also offers other dishes, they may be better, but the burgers are not.

Rude staff and delayed service. The food took approximately an hour to arrive, and it was a summer bowl (salad, rice and chicken)

Had the Urban Chicken Tandoori Salad. The taste is very good, but I would recommend adding red onions to the salad and being a little more economical with the Caesar dressing. Sometimes there was too much dressing. Some people like more dressing and some like less. Order came very quickly (15 minutes) despite there being a relatively large number of guests. Service was super nice. So if you are ever a guest in Heidelberg you should definitely visit the Urban Kitchen.

The place is very nice, the bathroom design is different and somehow spectacular, it is in old building which renovate very nice. The service is very good, many waitresses which are very helpful and friendly. The food was really delicious, we ordered many foods and of them were really nice.

Although we showed up there spontaneously (without a reservation) and were assigned a table straight away. The food was fabulous and the service was polite, the atmosphere was very interesting and nice, which is why I definitely give it 5 stars.

I had the Pizza Vegetariana. It was extremely watery, so the ground was soggy and it was constantly dripping. The grilled vegetables consisted of 90% tomatoes and a few mushrooms and peppers were also found. It just tasted like cheap frozen food, which doesn't justify the price of almost €13! Nice location with a wide range of convenience food variations from snacks to Thai, burgers and pizza. Everything is edible and tasty. But not a culinary delight. Beer and cocktails after work but a nice meeting.

Halloo We had a really good experience here at urban kitchen Heidelberg,the food was appetising and the service was great! Our burgers and fries were well done and really tasty.We also had delish desserts (even tho I don’t have any pics)I really enjoyed the choc sufle!! For the drinks we had kiwi lemonade and for our post-meal drink we had peppermint tea😆 The flexibility of the working hours is def a great advantage,especially for Heidelberg!

Das normale Frühstücksbuffet am Samstag hat uns so begeistert, dass wir am Sonntag zum Brunch wieder dort waren! Tolle Auswahl, alles super lecker und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar! Die Servicemitarbeiter waren an beiden Tagen sooooo nett, zuvorkommend und professionell, das muss man einfach deutlich hervorheben. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, empfehlen es weiter und kommen ganz sicher wieder! Wenn Frühstück in Heidelberg, dan Urban kitchen!!!!!

Can't recommend! Went their to celebrate with my boyfriend😕 and as the recommendation : it was the best destination for us to chill and enjoy a good food and a great atmosphere !! Thanks for giving me a headache and stomach pain 😪 ,So : 1- Bad Service we needed to wait so much (20-40mn )without a response until we ended up going to them to order 2- it took us ages to get our food 3- The food was really disgusting we couldn't even finish it ! 4-The pizza was half cooked and cold 5- we let that "BOWL" on the table with paying 17,89 Euro on a small bowl of rice and some old veggies.. (like we don't know what it should be like ! 👍 ) We asked respectfully to change it . 6- The chef was really rude and disrespectful, asking us to pay for something we couldn't even eat , He didn't even accept to change it because, as he said ,( "we already did return to him the drink that was sour , colored without even sugar in it or a taste ") Wish was worst 😠 😡 !!!! 7-After all of this ,we were already leaving. They were bringing us the fries. Lol (1h later) !! THAT'S A BIG SCAM I DON'T RECOMMEND!!

Nice shop on a side street. Pleasantly quiet in the evening, with a nice atmosphere. The service is really attentive and dedicated. The pizza was good, the dough was a bit lacking. The simple large salad was said to have been great.

The breakfast place that hosts the biggest groups for breakfast in Heidelberg. We came with a group of 75 People and it wasnt a problem at all. The Sunday Breakfast offers many choices. Can recommend.

Tolles Buffet, tolle Getränkekarte. Das Personal ist immer freundlich; teilweise sehr professionell, teilweise aber auch auf einem "Nebenjob-Level", d.h. Getränke werden z.B. über den Tisch gereicht, statt dass man zwei Schritte weitergeht bis zum Empfänger. Trotzdem - immer freundlich, und ich komme jedesmal gerne wieder!

Super schönes Ambiente. Saubere und große Toiletten! Essen sehr gut. Sogar um 13Uhr noch ausreichend Essen am Büfett (beim Brunch). Sehr, sehr nette Bedienung. Äußerst bemüht! Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal;)

There were 5 of us there for dinner. The staff was very friendly. But when the food came, there was a caterpillar on the burger. We let the burger go back and after 5 minutes a condition came to apologize. She said that this can happen because the products are fresh. We were also asked whether we wanted a new burger or the same one again. We then decided on a pizza, which wasn't a problem, but in the end everything was on the bill and we first had to make sure that we also had the side dish returned. The rest of the food was good and the fact that something like that can happen isn't a problem in principle, but the way it was handled was a bit of a shame.

We especially like this place for brunch, but a meet up with friends for drinks is also great. I like the atmisphere, the furniture and different nooks and corners inside. It has a kids corner - somethung unique in Heidelberg!

Got served Mie rolls FROZEN! Demanded we pay regular price and only after discussion did we get shots on the house. The manager insisted that getting frozen food is not bad service if you can get heated food upon request. Absolutely disappointing and ABYSMAL customer service. "If you were upset by frozen food, yall could have just left. You stayed, you are going to have to pay everything." Can not in any way recommend this restaurant after this experience. Food was served FROZEN....
