Super nice service, very good food and beautifully lit terrace.

We were there today for a quick lunch for two. The drinks were served quickly and were good, as was our starter. The vegan Mie noodle spring rolls lacked a bit of flavor in the filling; without the good dipping sauce they would have been bland. Unfortunately, my main course, the Thai Basil Chilli, wasn't what I had imagined either... Anyone who knows Pad Krapau might know what I was expecting when I read "Thai Basil Chilli Sauce" and expect something similar. Unfortunately, there was no Thai basil to taste or see in the dish and there was nothing spicy either. According to the kitchen, the basil was probably in the brown sauce and the rice was "garnished" with a whole (unchopped) chili pepper. Should I have bitten into it while I was eating the dish? I think a Thai basil chilli sauce should taste like it and contain a bit of heat. My companion really enjoyed the vegan pizza rolls, which is why I gave it four stars for the food and overall. I would have hoped for more from the food, but perhaps other dishes there are better. Maybe we'll come back.

Good day, my friends and I ate together at this restaurant on August 25th, 2024. Three of us vomited for over 5 hours the following night. The following day we also had diarrhea. I wanted to warn you about this store because apparently the hygiene guidelines are not being followed. I'm also thinking about reporting this store to the Ministry of Health.

During a recent business trip, I enjoyed taking in the modern feel of this stunning eatery. Maria welcomed me with a smile and immediately took my table's order. I ordered one of their handmade burgers and pizza rolls. Everything was fantastic and the food quickly came out freshly made to order. Chilled place with good meals and super nice staff!

Delicious food, great restaurant. I can highly recommend the Vegan Crispy Chicken and the vegan pizza rolls. The vegan avocado burger was also ok, but not that good. The service was a bit confusing at times, but that's understandable given how busy the place is.

Best burger far and wide, and one of the coziest and best locations in Heidelberg! The offering is excellent, the ambience is great and the service is absolutely excellent and super organized (even with a full house). I always notice how friendly and helpful the waitresses are and how fit they are - because you don't have to wait long and you always feel very welcome. In summer you can sit outside in the spacious outdoor area. Absolutely great, highly recommended again and again!

A nice restaurant on the edge of Heidelberg's old town with a large outdoor area, which was well attended at 28°C. Despite the large number of guests, the service was attentive and quick. The food was excellent and the prices were fair. I particularly liked that the training was calm and patient even under the greatest pressure.

We had dinner there on a stopover in Heidelberg. It was good for a quick bite to eat but I would go somewhere else for a nice meal. However, I think I'm no longer the target group.

The waiters were very friendly and positive, and the food was delicious, but the only thing I felt uncomfortable about was that there were too many bees. They were flying and crawling on the drink cups and food. I don't quite accept it, but the locals don't seem to care.

It was my first time here and I wouldn't order a burger again. You could already see visually that the bread was very dark and it was therefore also very dry. Meat was added to this, and the delicious sauce counteracted that somewhat. That's why I was happy to have chosen the salad as a side dish, which added some freshness. As a neutral rating, I would like to mention about the salad that only the lettuce leaves saw dressing, peppers, cucumbers, onions etc. not. Since this restaurant also offers other dishes, they may be better, but the burgers are not.

The place is very nice, the bathroom design is different and somehow spectacular, it is in old building which renovate very nice. The service is very good, many waitresses which are very helpful and friendly. The food was really delicious, we ordered many foods and of them were really nice.

Had the Urban Chicken Tandoori Salad. The taste is very good, but I would recommend adding red onions to the salad and being a little more economical with the Caesar dressing. Sometimes there was too much dressing. Some people like more dressing and some like less. Order came very quickly (15 minutes) despite there being a relatively large number of guests. Service was super nice. So if you are ever a guest in Heidelberg you should definitely visit the Urban Kitchen.

As has often been the case, a great place to meet up in a larger group. The food was good and the service was always there to check whether we had everything we needed. I felt well looked after.

I had the Pizza Vegetariana. It was extremely watery, so the ground was soggy and it was constantly dripping. The grilled vegetables consisted of 90% tomatoes and a few mushrooms and peppers were also found. It just tasted like cheap frozen food, which doesn't justify the price of almost €13! Halloo We had a really good experience here at urban kitchen Heidelberg,the food was appetising and the service was great! Our burgers and fries were well done and really tasty.We also had delish desserts (even tho I don’t have any pics)I really enjoyed the choc sufle!! For the drinks we had kiwi lemonade and for our post-meal drink we had peppermint tea😆 The flexibility of the working hours is def a great advantage,especially for Heidelberg!

Das normale Frühstücksbuffet am Samstag hat uns so begeistert, dass wir am Sonntag zum Brunch wieder dort waren! Tolle Auswahl, alles super lecker und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar! Die Servicemitarbeiter waren an beiden Tagen sooooo nett, zuvorkommend und professionell, das muss man einfach deutlich hervorheben. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, empfehlen es weiter und kommen ganz sicher wieder! Wenn Frühstück in Heidelberg, dan Urban kitchen!!!!!

Can't recommend! Went their to celebrate with my boyfriend😕 and as the recommendation : it was the best destination for us to chill and enjoy a good food and a great atmosphere !! Thanks for giving me a headache and stomach pain 😪 ,So : 1- Bad Service we needed to wait so much (20-40mn )without a response until we ended up going to them to order 2- it took us ages to get our food 3- The food was really disgusting we couldn't even finish it ! 4-The pizza was half cooked and cold 5- we let that "BOWL" on the table with paying 17,89 Euro on a small bowl of rice and some old veggies.. (like we don't know what it should be like ! 👍 ) We asked respectfully to change it . 6- The chef was really rude and disrespectful, asking us to pay for something we couldn't even eat , He didn't even accept to change it because, as he said ,( "we already did return to him the drink that was sour , colored without even sugar in it or a taste ") Wish was worst 😠 😡 !!!! 7-After all of this ,we were already leaving. They were bringing us the fries. Lol (1h later) !! THAT'S A BIG SCAM I DON'T RECOMMEND!!

Tolles Buffet, tolle Getränkekarte. Das Personal ist immer freundlich; teilweise sehr professionell, teilweise aber auch auf einem "Nebenjob-Level", d.h. Getränke werden z.B. über den Tisch gereicht, statt dass man zwei Schritte weitergeht bis zum Empfänger. Trotzdem - immer freundlich, und ich komme jedesmal gerne wieder!

Super schönes Ambiente. Saubere und große Toiletten! Essen sehr gut. Sogar um 13Uhr noch ausreichend Essen am Büfett (beim Brunch). Sehr, sehr nette Bedienung. Äußerst bemüht! Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal;)

We were there on Thursday evening for dinner and a cocktail 🍸 Happy Hour. The food was very good. The cocktails were great. The service was very friendly. We went back on Friday for breakfast. Great buffet, large selection. I would recommend it at any time .

There were 5 of us there for dinner. The staff was very friendly. But when the food came, there was a caterpillar on the burger. We let the burger go back and after 5 minutes a condition came to apologize. She said that this can happen because the products are fresh. We were also asked whether we wanted a new burger or the same one again. We then decided on a pizza, which wasn't a problem, but in the end everything was on the bill and we first had to make sure that we also had the side dish returned. The rest of the food was good and the fact that something like that can happen isn't a problem in principle, but the way it was handled was a bit of a shame.

Got served Mie rolls FROZEN! Demanded we pay regular price and only after discussion did we get shots on the house. The manager insisted that getting frozen food is not bad service if you can get heated food upon request. Absolutely disappointing and ABYSMAL customer service. "If you were upset by frozen food, yall could have just left. You stayed, you are going to have to pay everything." Can not in any way recommend this restaurant after this experience. Food was served FROZEN....

Unfortunately, pre-prepared dishes... system catering. But the place is quite interesting... There are different areas with always different atmospheres. A good place to meet friends. Very popular with younger people and actually always full on Friday and Saturday.

What a great atmosphere. It's a cozy place and I even had to take a picture of the toilet area because it's simply original and not ordinary. After a scavenger hunt through Heidelberg, we stopped here and had the perfect end to a beautiful day. We were served by Abdi all evening and I can only say thank you for the great and friendly service. The menu is not huge but if you love pizza and burgers you will be very satisfied with the taste here. We used happy hour for cocktails and the selection is very large. I'm sure there's something on the menu for everyone. There is also a large outdoor area and directly opposite the Poststrasse car park offers very close parking. Absolutely recommended and if there were 6 stars, I would give them.

The map takes some time due to the size, selection and variants, but is detailed. Service was brisk; attentive and friendly; The store as a whole is very well staffed. The food was great; v.A. because of the creative ideas. For that you would have to get full points. It was tasty and really reasonably priced. We say thank you!

I live in Heidelberg so I have been to Urban Kitchen many times. Nobody expects gourmet food when coming here, but the burgers are half decent. I made the mistake to order the summer bowl that was described as an Asian type of poké bowl. What was described as ‘Tandoori Hähnchen in Korean BBQ Sauce gebraten, getoppt mit Sriracha-Majo’ was, and I am not exaggerating, frozen donner meat. I wish I took a picture, but it was 100% donner shaped, tasting exactly like donner, no barbecue sauce, no spicy mayo, nothing. They didn’t even try to camouflage it. The bowl was 80% rice, some carrots, edamame, some frozen mango with an unidentified sauce, a bit of donner meat and NO SAUCE. I regret eating it, I regret not complaining and sending it back. I have never felt more robbed of 18 euros. Urban Kitchen should be ashamed of serving people this. Service is friendly, but the food ruined my evening.

Ich war unter der Woche abends bei Urban Kitchen im Außenbereich gesessen, wo eine ganz gemütliche Atmosphäre geherrscht hat. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr nett und haben regelmäßig gefragt ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Ich denke die Karte ist ausreichend groß, dass jeder hier etwas finden sollte. Meine Wahl fiel auf einen Burger ohne Brötchen, der sehr lecker war und mengenmäßig mehr als genug. Die Pommes mit Trüffel-Mayo dazu waren auch sehr lecker und knusprig. Würde definitiv wieder kommen 👍

Tonight I was craving a burger. There are a few different dishes here as well as other foods. The meat was made into a paddy and fried. Unfortunately the sauce was a little too little. But the fries were even more plentiful. Could be less. The service was very nice and friendly. Price performance could be lowered a bit.

Because it was very full, we had to wait in line at the buffet for a relatively long time. But it was worth it. Very tasty and good. Fantastic price too. Gladly again

Had dinner there a few times. The first and second time the food came quickly and the service was good. Nothing burnt was very tasty and the service wasn't pushy and asked in a friendly manner: it was okay. Unfortunately that wasn't the case the third time. The food took a long time and the service wasn't very friendly. There was no question when paying zsm or paying separately - it was decided by the waiter himself. The dessert was burnt and not nice to look at. It took a long time until a service person came and cleared the plates or asked if they wanted to pay. The service and quality of food has deteriorated. Very unfortunate. If this changes that would be great. The price has become expensive. All in all could be better.

Die Buchung verlief zügig und ohne Schwierigkeiten. Zum Frühstück bot das Buffet eine üppige Auswahl, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Personal zeigte sich äußerst zuvorkommend und herzlich. Ein erneuter Besuch steht für uns definitiv fest.

Eine tolle Location, besonders innen. Die Angestellten sind freundlich und aufmerksam, aber wir haben sehr lange nach der Bestellung auf die Getränke und das Essen gewartet. Das Essen war dann auch noch kalt, und wurde nach unserer Beschwerde ‚nur‘ noch mal aufgewärmt, was das Fleisch nicht besser gemacht hat.
