Delicious cake and ice cream, lovely service, everything homemade. You guys are great, keep it up!

We had a small family celebration and came here for lunch. Our guests ranged from vegan to gluten-free diets. The menu was truly prepared with great attention to detail. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and was delighted with the food and ambiance. The staff were also extremely friendly and answered our many special requests and questions.

The pizzas and appetizers were truly the best I've had in a while. The restaurant is located on a lovely street in an elegant neighborhood. If you're looking to chat with friends and have a good time, you should definitely stop by. They also have special offers and pizza days one day a week. Don't forget to bring cash, though; that's probably the only downside, but it's still worth it.

An eye – honestly, two – for detail. The lovingly decorated interior is a real highlight. The menus, in particular, invite you to browse and convince you to pick up more than you originally planned. Everything seems very harmonious and "sweet," reflecting the neighborhood's ambiance wonderfully. The prices are on the higher side – perhaps not ideal for students, but we're used to that by now. One small downside: The iced coffee could have contained more than what felt like half a scoop of ice cream – then I would have been completely happy. Overall, a definite recommendation!

We were there with five people and one wheelchair. Everyone was thrilled with the location, the food, and the staff. The owners made extra space for the wheelchair. Thank you very much and we'd love to go back.

Delicious fresh pasta and an incredibly tasty, spicy ragu Bolognese, along with a homemade raspberry-rosemary-lemon spritzer with fresh raspberries. Everything was fresh and of a delicious quality. We had a cozy outdoor seating area and would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, it was only our lunch break. We'll definitely be back!

The owner rudely and disconsiderately forced me to stand up from my table, in front of my friends, after buying 30 EUR in food from him, because I was eating an ice cream from the Eis Dolomiti shop AFTER having already eaten my food from Illegaly Tasty. We were waiting for a friend to get cash, because one can only pay in cash at Illegally Tasty, when the owner rudely approached us and asked me to leave my table in front of the whole restaurant. My friends and I found this disgusting and are never going to buy anything from this place again. Not recommended. If this is how the owner treats his customers I can only imagine how he runs his restaurant The stupidest thing about it is that my friend arrived with the cash 1min later. We paid and left. The owner literally sacrified 3 customers for the sake of 1 minute of chair usage of at a table thas was already occupided. Like I said, ridiculous.

The best in town. Traditional Family business with all the Charme you‘d expect. Homemade kitchen in a quiet area of the Rohrbach old town. Really recommend the truffle pasta and panna cotta.

The level of unfriendliness is unparalleled: After asking if I could use the restroom because I'm pregnant and can't stand it anymore, I was rudely and loudly told to buy an ice cream from him and otherwise leave the store. I've never experienced anything like that before, and it still leaves me speechless.

All in all, a rather disappointing experience. The prices for the pizzas are astronomically high, reminiscent of airport prices. Furthermore, the toppings are sparse and the portions are relatively small. It also seems odd that card payments aren't accepted, especially given the high prices. We won't be coming back.

Naja. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, 2 bekamen das Frühstück der Rest musste nochmal 30 min warten, da waren die ersten schon fertig. Auch die Getränke kamen erst spät.Der Milchkaffee ( trotz vorher extra nochmal drum gebeten) nicht richtig heiß, der Toast weiss und nicht richtig getoastet. Das war der erste und letzte Besuch von uns.

I often go to illegally Tasty and I'm always satisfied. The seating is super comfortable, and the food is fantastic anyway. Fresh pasta is made every day, and you can taste it! The pizza and ice cream are also amazing. The staff is always super polite and attentive. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

After a week in Germany eating kartoffen I let myself be guided by the reviews, I have to say that the score should be higher, because the pasta was excellent and the ice cream too. The owners are wonderful people he is German she is Italian

We ordered a pizza from your restaurant. While we waited for it to be prepared, we sat down with our two children at one of the tables in your dining room – all the other tables were free at the time. Shortly thereafter, the staff – probably the owner, because he mentioned that he was paying €5,000.00 in rent – ​​informed us that we were not allowed to sit there because one of our children was holding an ice cream cone from the ice cream parlor next door. We found the way this was communicated to us inappropriate and unfriendly. We were even asked in an aggressive tone whether we "even wanted to buy the pizza now or not." We were honestly irritated and disappointed by this behavior. We had intended to eat with you and would have expected that families with small children would be treated with a little more understanding at such a time – especially since there was no shortage of space and our stay only lasted a few minutes.

We visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy a pizza and a drink, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We waited for 45 minutes without anyone coming to take our order or even offer us a drink. We finally approached a waitress, and when we ordered, she said it might take a while and she didn't know exactly how long. So we decided to cancel the order and leave. The service was unfortunately very poor, and the long wait without any communication made it even worse. Based on our experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, at Illegally Tasty it probably depends on the day whether the food is great. Yesterday I had a terrible lasagna...dry, apparently a leftover item that was warmed several times or forever. After several attempts I will probably avoid this place. Very unfortunate!

So far I've only been there for breakfast, but I definitely have to go there in the evening for pasta, antipasti, etc.! If you come by car you have to look around for a parking space.

Small but nice. The ambience immediately invites you. The staff and chefs know how to make customers happy. Namely through good food and a lot of friendliness.

There were three of us in the restaurant and we each ordered a latte machiato, waffles with cherries and ice cream, a cake and spaghetti ice cream. The drinks came very late and unfortunately very delayed for everyone. Likewise the food. While my two companions were almost finished and my latte machiato was finally served to me, I politely asked whether the ice cream was freshly made and had not been melting for a long time. The question was justified because a companion commented that her waffle was already cold and the ice cream was visibly melted. The waitress said no to my question. After about another 5 minutes, my spaghetti ice cream was finally served. Unfortunately it had already liquefied significantly and the spaghetti structure was barely visible. When we suggested that we weren't completely satisfied, the boss came out personally and took up the complaint. I presented my complaint and he defended himself by saying that his goods are always freshly purchased and prepared. I didn't question this either. Instead, I noted that there seemed to be too much time between the composition of the sundae and its delivery. The boss's "accommodation" was that the ice cream would not be charged and that we would have to vacate the table in 10 minutes at the latest. I assume that this outrageous behavior towards customers is not an isolated case, but rather the boss's typical behavior pattern in similar situations.

Insider tip in Rohrbach. A German-Italian couple created this small bistro with a lot of love and a lot of handwork. Great Sicilian food, everything - even the pasta - is freshly made. The ice cream, cake and coffee are also amazing. And despite so much manual work and inflation, the prices are absolutely fair. The atmosphere is very cozy, you can sit outside until late in the year, and if you look closely you can see many parts of old Vespas that have been converted into furniture or lamps. On the weekend you should reserve one of the few tables, but it's also worth cycling past here for a short detour to Rohrbach by bike for an ice cream on the bench at the market square. Please keep it up ❤️

We were there for lunch, there were a few tables occupied outside, no one inside at all. We waited a very long time: to order, then for the drinks and the longest for the food. We both decided on lasagne, one with meat and one without. Less than an hour after arriving, we were able to eat: a small, flat piece of lasagne, carelessly prepared, not even hot in the middle. It didn't taste bad, but it didn't satisfy your hunger or make you want to come back a second time. It's nice to sit outside, the service was slow and not very professional, but friendly. The prices are steep, and you have to pay in cash - everyone has to decide for themselves whether a visit is worth it.

When you walk in from the ice cream shop next door, the owner yells at you that it is forbidden to bring ice cream in here. They also sell, that's weak. I spent a lot of time in Italy, this style is more Balkan. The food is not bad, but the good is not like that. Kari.

It is unfortunate that you respond to legitimate criticism not with insight but with personal accusations. Regardless of the bill, the fact remains that your service staff treated us with disrespect, which is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant business. The fact that you remember the payment situation but have not apologized for your staff's inappropriate behavior - neither during the incident nor during our return visit - casts questionable light on your understanding of customer service. It should be in your best interest to question why your employees feel that a lower order value justifies disrespectful treatment of guests. The fact that you defend this attitude speaks volumes for you.

Arrogant waiters, you shouldn't be surprised why someone gets up and leaves when you are treated pettily because of a small bill. I agree with the other low reviews. If your appetite is spoiled, you have no reason to touch the food if the money in your pocket is considered small. Simply disrespectful, some people really shouldn't work in the catering industry

The ice cream creates a taste explosion. The pizzas and pasta are amazing and the service is first class. All in all a great restaurant.

I was eating ice cream with my girlfriend and asked for an ashtray... The operator's comment was that if we eat cheaply we can also hollow out our ashtrays ourselves (from other tables). I've never heard such a statement before, I'll never go again and don't recommend anyone😡

A nice, sweet restaurant with a good menu where everyone will find something. We ate pizza, which was very tasty, crispy on the edge and really good. Very nice staff who took great care to ensure that everything was right for us. Only the chairs were a bit uncomfortable, wooden chairs with very thin cushions that had probably been there for a few years. If they had been a little more comfortable, we would have definitely stayed for one or two drinks 🍸

On a bike tour to Heidelberg we stopped at the beautifully located restaurant. Unfortunately the service was very poor. At first it took a long time for anyone to come to our table. Then a drink came, then a meal, then the second drink only when asked, then the second meal. You could only pay in cash. The food was very good!

We really enjoy having breakfast here with our children. It's particularly nice to sit outside in the middle of the Rohrbach market. So far everything we have tried has been very tasty (various breakfasts, antipasti, pasta and ice cream). There is a nice selection beyond the standard. The waitresses are always very friendly and you immediately feel at home. The waiting time is also manageable.

I came here twice in my one week trip as their food was amazing. The first time I tried tuna salad with eggs and it was perfect for dinner and the second time I tried veggie pizza and it was delicious. The staff are nice and restaurant is very popular too so if you go there on weekends you need to be a bit more patient.

Super nice café/restaurant with a huge selection, there's something for everyone! I had a pizza funghi (already crispy and well seasoned) and a very tasty vanilla chai with oat milk, my accompaniment was a tiramisu! Everything was really delicious and the service was magical! Lots of vegetarian and even vegan options on the menu!

Discovered by chance... Because I had to wait... Nice location, the apple crumble was super tasty. Afterwards I had the 3 bruschettas with different spreads, very good in my opinion... Sehr freundliche Inhaber, die Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam, kaum war mein Getränk leer, wurde dies von der Kellnerin im Augenwinkel erkannt und wurde direkt gefragt ob ich ein neues haben will. Sehr feines und schnuckliges Restaurant! Empfehle ich gerne wieder!
