Nana Lieblingsbar & Café in Heidelberg

Ich kann das Essen leider nicht bewerten, da es nach 1 1/2 Std. immer noch nicht da war. Grundsätzlich sehr süßer kleiner Laden! Es war überhaupt nicht viel los, aber wir mussten ewig auf alles warten! Bestellung aufnehmen, dann erstmal Getränke und danach dann essen! Wir sind um 10:10 angekommen und um 12:00 aufgestanden und gegangen, da man weder mit uns kommuniziert hat, um die Situation zu erklären, noch nach weiteren Getränken na gefragt hat! War wirklich sehr ärgerlich. Die Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, weder die als wir den Laden betraten und keiner mehr da war, noch die zwei, die während unserer Zeit gegangen sind! Also leider keine Empfehlung.

Wir waren Hotelgäste und deshalb 2x zum Frühstück im Café Nana (offenbar eine Kooperation mit dem Hotel, welches seine Räumlichkeiten renoviert). Wir hatten bei Ankunft bereits für beide Tage das Frühstück ausgewählt und eine Uhrzeit genannt. Heute mussten wir über eine Stunde auf das Frühstück warten. Der Keller, der scheinbar bereits häufiger durch seinen Charme und sein sonniges Gemüt (zynisch gemeint) für eine geringere Bewerbung gesorgt hat, geht gar nicht! Selten so eine demotivierte und freche Person in der Gastro getroffen... Essen war zwar ganz okay, aber der Laden könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen und neues Personal.

Ich habe den Falafel-Wrap bestellt und er war einfach köstlich – authentisch arabisch! Ich kann ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen und komme auf jeden Fall wieder, um den Rest der Speisekarte zu probieren. Das Lokal ist sehr schön, und der Außenbereich ist wunderschön, geräumig und einladend. Die Mitarbeiter sind außerdem sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich!

Ich habe nichts gegessen, aber das Essen der anderen um mich herum sah gut aus. Das Personal war freundlich. Ich saß draußen.

Haben jeweils einen Cocktail getrunken, sowohl der Pornstar Martini als auch der Basil Smash mit dem "Cloud foam" waren hervorragend. Die Bedienung war auch aufmerksam.

Schöner, ruhiger Ort. Kaffee und Essen waren köstlich. Wir haben den Brownie und die Süßkartoffelpommes probiert, beides war sehr lecker. Der Service war etwas langsam. Viele vegane Optionen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Am Sonntagmittag konnte ich mich in ruhiger Atmosphäre entspannen.

So ein süßes Café mitten in der Altstadt. Liebes und engagiertes Personal , uriges und gemütliches Ambiente und so unglaublich leckeres Essen.

Diese charmante Straßenecke, die wir auf dem Weg vom bezaubernden Schloss entdeckten, ist definitiv der richtige Ort für eine Pause. Die Atmosphäre ist so friedlich, dass man sich hier wunderbar entspannen kann. Die beiden Aperols, die wir bestellt hatten, waren genau richtig dosiert und sehr frisch; die dazu gereichten Pommes waren knusprig und eine fantastische Beilage. Freundlicher Service und angenehme Musik rundeten unseren Besuch perfekt ab. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Hat echt lange gedauert, bis das Essen kam, dann war es aber auch total lecker.

War heute mit nem Freund mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs. Spontan sind wir das erste Mal bei Nana's Lieblingsbar gehalten und entschieden uns dort zu entspannen. Äußerlich hat das Café sehr einladend ausgesehen und durch das schöne Wetter saßen wir uns an einen kleinen Tisch. Die ersten gut 15 Minuten hat man keine Bedingung gesehen. Irgendwann kam dann die Bedienung und wir konnten unsere Bestellung aufgeben. Wir bestellten einen Cafe crema und einen Cappuccino. Weitere 10 Minuten später bekam ich dann endlich meinen Cappucino. Weder Zucker noch einen Löffel gab es dazu. Ob man uns einen Aschenbecher bringen kann wurde auch nicht gefragt. Der Cappuccino war ein mittelmäßiges Produkt. Hat uns wirklich nicht geflasht. Das ganze dann für knapp 9 Euro war dann auch recht üppig. Bevor wir das am Ambiente verließen ging ich noch einmal rasch zur Toilette. In der Toilette gab es weder Licht, noch Seife und keinerlei Papierhandtücher. Beziehungsweise die Seife war leer. Kaum zu glauben das solche Cafés sich in der Stadt halten können. Es gibt viel Konkurrenz besseren Service und bessere Produkte. Ich sage immer "schlecht essen kann ich auch zuhause" so sehe ich das mit Cafe trinken ähnlich.

Ein super süßes und gemütliches Café/Bar. Sie bieten jetzt Bowls an, bei denen man sich alle Toppings selbst aussuchen kann – echt leckeres Essen! Die Atmosphäre in der Bar ist abends auch total gemütlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren heute im Baby- und Kindercafé und wurden super positiv überrascht ☕ Für das kleine Café ist der Spielbereich wirklich groß, gemütlich und sehr einladend. Es ist nicht riesig, aber genau dadurch total cozy ✨ Besonders schön war, dass die Getränke direkt in den Spielbereich gebracht wurden – so konnte man entspannt mit den Kids spielen und trotzdem seinen Kaffee warm genießen ☕ Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker 😋 und die nette Bedienung hat den Besuch perfekt abgerundet Top und absolut empfehlenswert

Süßes Café in der Heidelberger Altstadt. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist super und vor allem sehr lecker! Das Spielzimmer während dem Baby Café ist perfekt für alle die einen leckeren Kaffee o.ä. genießen möchten, während die Kinder ausgelassen spielen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Incredibly disappointing. We waited about an hour for our food, and the Turkish eggs arrived ice cold. We also waited about 35 minutes for our drinks. Some dishes were completely forgotten. The service was abysmal. Completely overpriced.

-5 degrees outside and we ordered hot chocolate to warm up. The order came after half an hour and the chocolate was lukewarm. The place was not hot so we didn't have to take our jackets off inside. The 2 sweets we got, a peanut cake and a cheesecake, were nice.

Delicious food! The combination of flavors is worth it! I would go again. The coffee was delicious.

We come here regularly as a group and LOVE the cozy atmosphere, spacious space and great service. Perfect for a light night out!

We love it here; the ambiance is really nice, the vibe is always very positive, and the staff are always super friendly. The drinks and specials are particularly good (Spritz for €4.50, Espresso Martinis for €8, etc.). The larger room at the end of the restaurant is also perfect for larger groups. The smoking area inside is, of course, a huge plus. I recently celebrated my birthday here, and we all had a wonderful evening. :)

Very modern and cool design. We only had one beer there. But the atmosphere was amazing.

First of all, I have to say I liked the atmosphere. But then came the "memory card" – an ugly, read-through pile of "garbage." There are certainly other options than a copy of a copy and just attaching the paper to a clipboard. Maybe laminate it. That's not a good first impression. The table was wobbly. After ordering drinks and food, I had to wait a good 10 minutes for my drink. The food, as the menu states, takes at least 25 minutes. But mine took almost an hour, and then my bread was hard and black. The bread was returned, and after another 10 minutes, with several follow-up questions, the bread finally arrived. A reordered Coke also took 10 minutes to arrive at the table. All in all, what a shame! A nice place, but very poor service and a slow kitchen.

We waited over an hour for our food. We were offered cake as compensation, which we never received.

It took over an hour to get served at the cafe. Breakfast took almost two hours, even though it wasn't very busy.

Nice ambiance, centrally located, on a small side street off the main street in the old town. The shop is very cozy and modernly decorated. The service is friendly, but not particularly prompt. However, we had to wait an hour for food for five people. For a breakfast that doesn't require much preparation, they didn't even apologize. The food was okay, but nothing special. There was very little fruit in some places. The price/performance ratio wasn't right for us.

Great service, fantastic team, delicious food, fantastic ambiance, excellent value for money, relaxed atmosphere, high-quality food, and delicious drinks. The DJ was also great.

We were unfortunately disappointed with our visit. While our drink order was taken and served promptly, we had to wait over an hour for our food – even though the place wasn't particularly busy. It was just avocado bread and muesli, which makes the long wait all the more incomprehensible. The staff was generally friendly, but lacked attention: empty glasses weren't noticed, and they didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. While the quality of the food was good and the taste was convincing, we felt the price and value didn't match. Considering the overall package – atmosphere, service, and wait time – the prices aren't justified.

The food doesn't live up to the menu's promise. The prices, however, are above average. The very slow service doesn't help matters.

The "Breakfast Club" offered every first Sunday of the month for €39 per person is a complete rip-off. "All inclusive - get as many rounds as you like" You can order one drink and one meal per person per round. The rule, which wasn't communicated in advance but only on site, states that everyone at the table must order the same meal (!). This would prevent the kitchen from serving various dishes. However, other tables also order different dishes, some of them a la carte. Therefore, this rule doesn't make sense to us. Furthermore, it assumes that all guests at the table have the same taste. Furthermore, different drinks are listed as included for the tables participating in the Breakfast Club. The nice blond gentleman serving was very accommodating, while the blond female server was unfortunately very rude to our requests. Our matcha orders were taken, as we assumed it was included based on the conversation we overheard at the neighboring table. After we received our drinks, we were told, "But that costs extra." The extra costs should have been communicated when ordering. Additionally, we ordered something different for one round due to food intolerances. The waitress wanted to clarify it with the kitchen and then told us that "because of you, they can't always make exceptions." When the manager wanted to speak to us, we expected an apology. However, her response to our complaint was unfortunately relatively incompetent and rather "aggressive," with, "What's the problem here? You're the first to complain. The instruction on the menu: '1 dish per person per round' would be perfectly understandable." We had reserved a table at 10:00 a.m. and were almost alone for the first hour. We placed our first order at 10:20 a.m., and the three hours started from there. However, we waited almost 50 minutes for our first drink and food. You can only order the next round once everyone has finished eating. They also advertise a DJ. It hadn't started until 11:15 a.m. However, the "DJ" was actually an employee who actually served food and simply turned on the music at the beginning of his shift. Unfortunately, we also noticed that a woman with a small child kept wandering into the kitchen. This raises the question of whether the hygiene concept can be adhered to. Unfortunately, we also had moldy berries on our plates. All in all, a complete disappointment. We were incredibly annoyed and believe that if you can't handle such a service due to a lack of kitchen capacity, then you shouldn't offer such a concept.

My favorite bar, the best espresso martinis in Heidelberg. Always good music. The food is delicious. Come here!

We stopped for a fresh drink. Nice relaxing atmosphere due to a central but private location. However, very distracted staff. We ordered an alcohol free beer since my partner was breastfeeding. However, half way through the beer, my partner felt dizzy. We discovered they "got confused" and brought us a normal beer. Too late, mother dizzy, baby grumpy after the alcoholic feeding. We did not even get offered discounts or anything. Just 'oops' attitude. This can be dangerous and considering we just ordered an alcohol free beer and they got it wrong...100% unsuccess rate in taking an order🫠 You can give it a chance but be careful if you have special requirements!

The ambiance is nice, but an Aperol Spritz for €9 is too expensive. We ordered the special Aperol Spritz from 5 p.m., which came in a small water glass and unfortunately didn't taste good.

Cute little café in Heidelberg Tucked away in a small alleyway, this charming café is a real insider tip! The atmosphere is quiet and cozy, perfect for a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Iced Coconut Matcha is especially recommended – super refreshing, not too sweet, and simply something different. You can tell the attention to detail is evident here.

The food at Nana was good, but nothing exceptional, especially since the prices are quite high, even for Heidelberg's touristy old town. The service, however, was particularly disappointing. It took almost 60 minutes for our drinks (including a water!) to arrive. It took over 90 minutes for all the dishes to arrive, although it's hard to call them "all the dishes," as several items from our order were simply forgotten and never arrived. The staff showed no sensitivity to this situation, which could have been expressed, for example, by pointing out delays or something similar. There doesn't seem to be any truly professional or service-oriented processes at Nana. Without having any lofty expectations of a bar, this was very disconcerting and, given the hefty prices, truly disappointing.

The drinks were all really small for the money.

A truly relaxed spot, with great food and delicious cocktails. When we arrived, we weren't sure if we wanted to sit in the sun. The owner offered to set up extra parasols and set up a fantastic, cozy spot for us - GREAT 👍🏻

Not a recommendation. First, the good news: the peanut cheesecake was really delicious, but it was forgotten and brought after the tiny cappuccino, which cost a whopping €4.80, had already gone. Everything else was forgotten. The two of us had ordered two cappuccinos and a slice of cake. The young man who served us, however, had forgotten what we had ordered. No problem either. We repeated it. Then he came back but took ages to bring the one piece of cake, which cost an incredible €6.50. He simply forgot. There weren't many people there. What's the problem? In the next room, where there was more seating, there were tons of dirty dishes. Very high prices for very, very little attention. What I found a bit annoying was the screen with the Super Mario game, but that's a matter of taste; I could certainly have sat somewhere else. But overall: Not a recommendation.

It was a very pleasant stay. Great location, you felt comfortable and could have spent hours there. Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30 p.m. and the food unfortunately took 45 minutes even though we were the first and it wasn't full. Still super tasty, I had the Home Made Lasagna, and the 2 male waiters were very friendly!

Was there for the first time 40 € for 2 people 2 drinks + 1 small 1 normal breakfast is too much even for Heidelberg Prices on the menu were not up to date... What a shame

We had breakfast at Nana. It tastes good, but the prices for the food are extremely high and the portions are far too small. Half a slice of bread with avocado and an egg for €16 is too expensive. In other breakfast places you can get a whole slice of bread for that price. Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly good either. We waited a long time to order and for the drinks to arrive, even though we were the only guests after opening. Then we also got dirty dishes and two people didn't get enough change when we paid, which we unfortunately didn't notice until too late. We probably won't go there again as there are better breakfast places in Heidelberg for less money.

We discovered this wonderful restaurant while strolling through the pedestrian zone - a real insider tip! The vegan dishes were incredibly delicious, lovingly prepared and full of flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, so we felt very comfortable right from the start. We were also impressed by the atmosphere – cozy and stylish inside, very inviting and relaxed outside. We'll definitely be back!

The Breakfast Club was my highlight of the month. Great breakfast, delicious drinks and the music is just as great as the service. We'll definitely come back next time!

Nana has always been great when it comes to food and drinks, but Bottomless Brunch is awesome! 39.90 for 3 hours all you can drink and eat! Always happy and great service! Always happy <3

Very pleasant to sit outside and have a relaxed coffee and cake. The Power Chai in combination with the Pumpkin Cheesecake tasted damn delicious and was absolutely convincing. I'm happy to pay a little more because you don't get that every day. Anyone who sees it that way will definitely not be disappointed here and can indulge in a relaxed and tasteful experience. I'd love to come back!

I don't recommend this cafe at all!!! When we came in everything was STILL good, but we were forgotten for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes someone came and took our order after a whole 15 minutes. Afterwards we only got our drinks after HALF AN HOUR even though we asked twice when our drinks and food would come. The drinks were tasteless although you can't go wrong with a hot chocolate and a fruit iced tea. We ordered 2 fries and had to cancel them because it just took too long. One of the employees took her child with her and instead of serving us, she looked after her child. very unprofessional and just an absolute disaster!!!

I ordered french tosts which was served cold. The coffee was good, though as many mentioned before, expensive. As the local was empty on saturady 10am while other places were bustling with people it felt little strange. I wouldnt recommend it for a breakfast. In general, the barista seem to feel even stranger then me 😅 I wont come back. The bar inside is nice and the discoballs too.

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all and it took over 40 minutes. We were really looking forward to it and were disappointed in the end.

I can't recommend it. When ordering we asked about the ingredients of the dishes. The young man in service said he didn't know; after all, he wasn't the cook. We ordered coffee, when it came there was no sugar, it was brought in a mason jar without a spoon. So I carefully poured the sugar out of the glass so that the coffee wasn't completely cold. We waited an unreasonably long time for an overpriced, tiny portion of pancakes. Not even beautifully presented with a few extra blueberries, for example. Overall a disappointing experience.

Spent a nice brunch with friends, the atmosphere is really cosy and we almost had the place for ourselves 🙂 Food took quite some time to arrive but we had time so it was not too much of a problem. We’d come back but more than 7€ for a bottle of water is a joke… 🙁

It took almost 20 minutes before we could place our order, the cappuccino was only lukewarm and for 5 euros the product should be fine. Bee sting was very large and made with too much baking powder. At 6.10 euros it was the most expensive cake I have eaten.

There is a good selection of vegan options be it breakfast, lunch or a snack in between. There is also a daily selection of delicious vegan cakes. It's worth coming just for the vegan cake. The coffee could be better and unfortunately can't keep up with the cake. There is a Game Cube with Mario Kart Double Dash ready to play in the store, which is a really nice idea. The employees are friendly.

Quiet place in a side street of the pedestrian zone. Service was very attentive (it was her first day) but unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the food. BUT...it was well prepared and delicious and as compensation a cappuccino was taken on the house. Very accommodating and always asking if everything was ok. Only because of the long waiting time 4* but please maintain this hospitality and courtesy, because it was exceptional! Thanks for that 😉🫶

25min waiting time for 3 out of 5 orders. Unfortunately it's too slow, you don't have the whole day to be able to drink something.

A nice cafe with decent food. Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow. With the house largely empty, it took 55 (!) minutes until the four of us had six drinks on the table - the other two were forgotten. We won't go back here!

One of the best restaurants in Heidelberg. Lots of vegan options. The Good Girl Tacos are particularly recommended. Great atmosphere and nice staff. You can even play Mario Kart on a Nintendo GameCube. The only drawback is the relatively long waiting time for the food. Still highly recommended!

We ordered "good girl" vegan chicken tacos, really delicious. Also ordered smoothies- blueberries and peanut smoothies. and a vegan cake The staff was nice as well. Lot of vegan/ vegetarian options. I recommend it!!

Beer is delicious and the coffee tastes good. Very courteous service.

Very nice atmosphere and quiet ambience with a very tasteful choice of music. Although we didn't order any food, the drinks were very refreshing. Overall, it's also expensive because you spend far too much just on drinks. In general, it's a good cafe to go to every now and then.

Have a small group event here once a month and the waiter is always super polite and accommodating. Every now and then I treat myself to a late evening cake to-go - they are always delicious! ☺️

Super cute café in the middle of the old town in Heidelberg with lots of delicious vegan dishes/options. Can especially recommend the vegan nachos. There are also vegan cakes and vegan mayonnaise. It's really nice to sit outside, but it's also very comfortable inside. If you are traveling in Heidelberg, this is the place for a little break or a snack! Really recommended😊😊

Very nice café and bar with delicious drinks (Chai Mango or blueberry-walnut smoothie) that are not available on every corner. From midday there is also sun on the squares on the quiet street.

We waited 10 minutes for the order and 30 minutes for the coffee/smoothie & cake. The cake was frozen in the middle, so it was probably just thawed. Prices are also quite high.

I know the café from earlier times, when it was still a bar. A lot has changed here. There are many vegan options, unfortunately the vegan brownie cake was served with whipped cream too, so you might want to ask about that first. We were served very friendly, but the music was very loud and a bit tiring, and the prices were a bit higher.

Als wir (Tochter und ich) reinkamen, waren gerade 2 Frauen drin, die am Essen waren. Wir mussten genau 40 Minuten auf unser Essen warten (Pancakes und Toast), unsere Getränke kamen nach 10 Minuten (Heiße Schokolade, Flat white). Die Bedienung kam, als wir aßen, wir bestellten eine Limo (Minze Ingwer) und ein kleines Wasser und warteten wieder 20 Minuten auf sie… Ich betone, wir waren alleine!! Das Essen war zwar lecker aber die ganze Warterei war schon unverschämt. Ich gab auch kein Trinkgeld, dafür ganz böse Blicke der Bedienung. Fazit: nie wieder!

Schönes Ambiente, Personal freundlich, der Kaffe war gut, allerdings zu lange Wartezeiten für das Essen, Portionen wirklich SEHR klein für den Preis, Schade..

Entweder komplett unterbesetzt oder sehr schlecht geschultes Personal. Zuerst dauerte es ewig, bis man uns die Karten brachte, dann fragte der Kellner genervt ob wir "denn dann mal noch bestellen wollen", als wäre es unser Fehler, dass wir aufgrund zuerst fehlender Karten auch länger zum Aussuchen brauchen. Der Kellner, der keinen Block zum Aufschreiben bei sich trug, versuchte dann, sich die Bestellung zu merken. Obwohl wir es zweimal durchgingen, kam am Ende ein falsches Getränk. Während meine Freundinnen ihren Kuchen bekamen, kam mein Breakfast Burrito einfach gar nicht an - obwohl der Kellner meinte, dass er gleich kommen würde. Habe das Café dann noch hungriger als zuvor wieder verlassen. Trotz der zahlreichen Fehler kam nur ganz am Ende bei der Bezahlung ein kurzes "Entschuldigung, es ist grad sehr chaotisch", sonst nichts dergleichen. Professioneller Service geht anders. Den Tischen um uns herum ging es genauso. Sehr schade, da das Café an sich echt schön ist und viele vegetarische und vegane Optionen bietet. Der Kuchen war auch sehr lecker, aber bei so einem Service überlegt man sich zweimal, ob man nochmal hingeht.

Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung. Die Pancakes sind ziemlich lecker. Ansonsten ist es eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen!

Sehr feines Frühstück! Eine Entdeckung ist "weisse warme Schokolade" die meine einem kleinen Tütchen süssem Popcorn serviert wird, super Idee. Gechillte Shoegaze Musik im Hintergrund, und mega freundlicher Service. Eine Entdeckung, wir laufen lächelnd da raus.

Wir haben das Nana Café durch Zufall entdeckt und spontan einen Tisch reserviert. Das Ambiente ist modern und entspannt. Die Bedienung war freundlich, und wir hatten ausreichend Zeit, die vielfältige Karte zu erkunden. Obwohl es etwas länger dauerte, unser Frühstück zu erhalten, war der Geschmack wirklich ausgezeichnet. Mein Avocado-Brot mit Rührei war köstlich, obwohl die Rührei-Portion zunächst klein erschien. Die Erklärung beim Bezahlen war nachvollziehbar. Kaffee und Softgetränke waren ebenfalls erstklassig. Die prompte Aufmerksamkeit beim Bezahlen und die Erläuterung zur Portiongröße des Rühreis kam direkt von der Bedienung. Als Entschädigung durften wir uns einen Kuchen aussuchen, und der Mango Cheesecake ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Sonntag - wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren als Familie an einem Samstag Vormittag frühstücken, es war angenehm ruhig. Klein aber umso feiner.Das Essen war reichhaltig und extrem lecker! Da darf es auch einmal etwas mehr kosten. Sehr freundlicher Service :)

Ein Ort zum verweilen zur Ruhe zu kommen. Top Service und man fühlt sich willkommen. Mega zu empfehlen die ausgefallene Kuchenauswahl liebevoll angerichtet und mega lecker.

Die Speisen waren sehr lecker, die Location ist super und der Service top! Der Chef kommt sogar an den Tisch, wenn er die Zeit findet ,wodurch man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Klare Empfehlung!!!
