Great pub :) Umut and his team are simply fantastic – always friendly, welcoming, and ensure that you have a good time. Whether outside under the beautiful grapes in the middle of town or inside at the bar: the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Smoking is permitted in the front area – a plus for us smokers, especially in winter. The winter garden is also very nice, even if it can be a bit chilly on cold days, but that's not a problem. On weekends, the pub is the perfect place for anyone looking for an honest, authentic pub atmosphere where people also celebrate. The food is good and simple – a tarte flambée is always a hit here. A pub with character, charm, and a lot of heart – we love coming back!

A very hip bar. The outstanding service of the waiters Oskar Viktor Samuel Hassan Paula, and not to forget the man himself Umut, deserves special mention. Great regulars like Maurice Johann Niklas and Marco also contribute to a great atmosphere. Feel free to ask for the insider tip: the Kurdish Rosine bar. A dining experience like no other.

Unfortunately, my visit to this bar was very disappointing. We waited a long time, but there was simply no service – no one to take our order or even ask for our drink. After what felt like an eternity, we managed to order a mojito, but even that was a disappointment: barely any lime, too much sugar, and old and wilted mint – the taste was simply not good. It's a shame, the location had potential, but it's no fun like this. I won't be back.

Been waiting in the smoking area for over an hour and no one is being served. Cool atmosphere but really, really bad service. We had to pay for the first mojito at the bar ourselves, which actually tasted really, really bad (way too sweet). Really cool place, but unfortunately way too bad service...

A very nice pub right next to the library. Busy in the evenings and with a pleasant atmosphere. Reservations are recommended for large groups and on weekends.

Close to the library and with a very lively atmosphere. The food is great and at very good prices. The staff is very friendly. You have to come here; it's a pleasant experience.

Great pub/bar! Nice atmosphere, in winter there is even an oven that runs on wood. This immediately makes the room even more comfortable.

Say what you will, but go here and see for yourself! The atmosphere, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the boss speak for themselves. You feel right at home ;) The prices are more than reasonable and definitely not expensive. I would recommend everyone to spend their evenings here! It's been our regular spot for a long time, and we always enjoy coming back, and you should too!

The owner is incredibly nice. We really like him and he is always nice to dogs. Unfortunately, the doorman brushed us off completely disrespectfully, which doesn't suit the bar at all... In honesty the bar is a 10/10

Overall it was fine. What was a bit annoying was the noise and the fact that some guests were smoking weed there. The staff is very friendly and competent

As a single woman (59, expert, new in Freiburg) I was expelled from the house. No adequate reasoning from the staff when I asked. Not nice.

One of the best pubs in Freiburg. Mostly rock music, many different seating options in several rooms offer a place to linger for every taste, large smoking and non-smoking area, small outdoor terrace, cold drinks, cozy atmosphere and cheerful service staff. A small selection of dishes is completely sufficient. Sweet potato fries are highly recommended.

Great pub with a good beer selection. And there is also a large selection if you are hungry.

Loading is ok. Music too loud. Service was absolutely unfriendly that evening. Too bad, not in the future.

Gemütliche Kneipe mit nettem Personal, toller Auswahl (sowohl Getränke und Essen, auch gute vegetarische Optionen) und prima Musik. Eine tolle Kneipe in der Mitte Freiburgs für einen netten Abend mit Freunden und Kommilitonen.

War ganz nett, man kann gut sitzen und leckeres Rothaus vom Fass trinken. Das Essen war jetzt nicht so der Burner.

Sehr zentrale Kneipe, in der es wirklich sehr leckeres Bier vom Fass (Chiemseer, Rothaus) gibt. Es gibt einen gesonderten Raucherbereich, was manchmal sehr angenehm ist.

Es gibt Apfelräuber vom Fass und die Jungs sind super.

Mit die beste Bar weit und breit! Top Getränke, leckeres Essen und eine einzigartige Atmosphäre welche durch das tolle Team abgerundet wird! Macht weiter so!

Der Service ist super. Die Mahlzeiten auch. Am meisten vermisse ich die frittierten Calamaris, obwohl ich es nicht weit ans Meer habe. Auf jeden Fall würde ich hier vorbei gehen wenn ich in der Nähe bin. Danke für euren Service. Ich vermisse euch

Freundliche Mitarbeiter*innen, leckeres Essen und tolle Drinks. Von Montag-Donnerstag gibt es unterschiedliche Specials. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Fußballspiele werden auch ausgestrahlt (Sky Sport). SC Freiburg-Fans können dort demnach die Samstagsspiele verfolgen. Laue Sommernächte kann man dort wunderbar im schönen Außenbereich stadtzentrumsnah genießen. Tipp: Donnerstag ist Aperol-Tag! Und falls es noch ein Absacker sein darf: unbedingt den Espresso-Likör (Tarifa) probieren.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, dazu leckere Flammkuchen und Pizzen. Wer nicht gerne eine "warme Mahlzeit" zu sich nehmen möchte kann gern auf salate zugreifen. Preisleistung daher Top. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Jederzeit wieder.

Auf dem Weg zum Bahnhof entdeckt und für "TOP" befunden. Aufmerksame und super freundliche Bedienung. Der Flammkuchen war super lecker, mit einem guten Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Kann ich nur empfehlen :)

Gute, günstige Raucherkneipe (ist man halt nicht mehr gewöhnt) Preise vollkommen in Ordnung. Fussball kann man auch schauen.

One of the best student bars in Freiburg. They have good prices for beverages and food. The new managing team has a long experience in gastronomy so they improved the food menu. And very friendly service. Not to forget the central location.

Das Trinken war sehr lecker und es gibt eine große Auswahl. Die Pizza war leider etwas angebrannt am Rand und scheint auch nicht selber frisch gemacht zu sein. Insgesamt aber eine coole Kneipe mit einer großen Auswahl von Getränken.

Total schön, nette Atmosphäre, tolles Essen, tolle Bierauswahl. Faire Preise. Hat Spaß gemacht. Bis zum nächsten Mal.
