Paradies has a nice atmosphere. They have good food and good beer. The waiter was very friendly.

We were only there for a meal. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended. Five stars from me and my colleagues 🌟. We'll definitely be back for another delicious meal 😉

This Sunday brunch is simply fantastic! Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Very friendly staff.

We had dinner at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hospitality was lacking. Furthermore, the food wasn't tasty. It didn't taste fresh. The goat cheese burger had very little topping for such a high price. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were also bad; two people who ate them got stomach cramps. And the spaetzle had a different consistency than usual.

we had lunch in Paradies, super salat bar, a few choices and each was good, fresh and well made. We had a vegetarian lunch as well as fish and chips- menü was enough and yummie. Thank you also to our friendly and efficient service. pleasant and professional atmosphere.

We went there for lunch. Paradies is a very inviting and cozy restaurant. The service is friendly. Hence the two stars. However, the food was a disaster: The venison ragout consisted primarily of gristle and was simply inedible. The gratin, which we received as a replacement after complaining, was dripping with grease and otherwise largely tasteless. The fish and chips also tasted of nothing but deep fryer. They were "garnished" with some raw salad that looked as if it had been taken from a rabbit. The price (€19) was particularly exorbitant given the poor quality. Overall, we got the impression that there were no skilled cooks working in the kitchen and that the quality of the ingredients was also poor. As "apology," the waitress gave us two mini Hanuta chocolates. For over €40, this was absolutely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, the food was not good: the pumpkin soup was far too sour, the potato roulade was poorly seasoned, and the dressing on the salad was barely discernible.

A truly disappointing stay from beginning to end. I won't be returning.

Nice location and a cozy beer garden. 6-10 parking spaces available in two parking areas. Public transport right outside. Lots of university hospital staff and patients/visitors. The daily specials were so-so. The fish fillet was very over-seasoned. Too salty for me. With salad, it was only worth 3 stars at most. No dessert... but you can order it for an extra €3.70. The tiramisu was tasty, but the portion was tiny. The salad bar was meager. The coleslaw and green salad were good. The beetroot was okay. The sausage salad (no, not sausage salad) was a strange combination. The fries were great. The coffee was bitter, too acidic. Was the extraction time wrong? Was the temperature too high? Were the coffee beans of poor quality? I could only manage a sip. Unfortunately, the server just said "oh..." Later, there was unpleasantly loud table scraping. A woman was apparently setting up for a larger group. We felt more than disturbed. I was disappointed. The price/performance ratio was no longer right for me.

Traditional German cuisine, friendly staff. The food is okay.

We stayed in apartment 31, upstairs in the attic. It was superbly furnished, clean, had an extremely comfortable bed, and was beautiful.

We were here for dinner. The food was served in a flash. The cordon bleu and the Wiener Schnitzel were delicious. I also think it's great that your restaurant also has staff from the Kingdom of Heaven!

Friendly, dedicated staff. A casual restaurant with a pleasant beer garden. A wide selection of delicious dishes. A good seasonal menu. (Prices have risen considerably.) From breakfast to late evening, you're in good hands here. It's best to arrive by bike, as parking is very limited. It's nice that there's a selection of newspapers.

Great place for nice German food!

The paradise is truly beautiful and lives up to its name. They even provide a ramp for wheelchair users, making it easy to get in. The food, drinks, and service are simply superb.

Unfortunately no coffee is thin food everything average drinks with ice cubes filled everything on consumption unfortunately

We participated in the German Bowling Championships this weekend and chose this guesthouse. We found it to be the right choice. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the entire team is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent! We wish you all the best and much success in the future!

We went there for brunch. Personally, I find the value for money a bit poor. You pay a lot for little, but despite rising costs, you can still expect a bit more. The portion wasn't really filling. Nevertheless, I would go back because it's always worth a visit, especially for brunch.

We were there for dinner as a larger group. They managed to get our food served at roughly the same time. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The prices are mid-range, but given the good quality of the food, I'd say it was good value for money.

Regarding the restaurant: Although I pointed out to the kitchen that I was somewhat disappointed by the burnt spaetzle, I unfortunately didn't receive an apology. This could have been handled more confidently and politely.

SUPER HOTEL The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was generous and the coffee was really good. The evening meal in the restaurant was also really delicious and absolutely reasonable. All in all, highly recommended!

First of all, I would like to say that the quality of the food was very good. My recession is not about the food. The service staff were also friendly. What I have to complain about, however, is that we came to the breakfast buffet at 10:30 a.m. (we had reserved) and by 11:15 a.m. many things were already out and were no longer refilled. After our arrival, we grabbed a small first course and waited for our drinks (we had been informed that it could take a little longer. That was ok, we had time.). When we wanted to get a second course, this time sweet, at 11:15 a.m., there were no more pancakes or chocolate croissants. Just what all 5 of us (!) were looking forward to. My wife, who preferred not to eat anything sweet, couldn't find any more tomato and mozzarella salad either. A lot of things were no longer delivered after 11:15 a.m. We were not informed either when we made our reservation or when we arrived that things would no longer be refilled after 11:15 a.m. The service employee responsible for us also confirmed that this shouldn't actually be the case. The way we were left sitting at the buffet with our demands showed us that we as individual guests don't matter here. We also had to pay the full price. All I can say is that our disappointment with the attitude and the complete lack of customer focus not only disappointed us, but even shocked us in its nature. We won't be visiting this location again. In my opinion, anyone who can only extract money from guests and otherwise cares so little about their well-being cannot be rewarded. Unfortunately, I will warn my circle of friends and acquaintances not to go there as guests. There are too many good alternatives in Freiburg for that. Too bad. 150€ for 45 minutes. Leave breakfast brunch and completely ruin Mother's Day. P.S. We asked the service employee whether the service employees were allowed to keep the tips and then gave him a good tip. He couldn't help it and did a pretty good job.

Unfortunately, all three entrances to the restaurant and terrace were not accessible for a wheelchair user. Which is worrying for me given the proximity to the university hospital. When I asked if there was another restaurant nearby, the waitress said, no, there isn't. But three minutes away in the wheelchair, I found the inclusive restaurant HEIMATKÜCHE and had a very good meal there.

Yesterday I spontaneously booked a room for an overnight stay on site. I wanted to stay for 2 nights but unfortunately it was fully booked. I am thrilled with this guesthouse! All employees super friendly! All rooms very clean! There is free parking behind the house. There are even charging stations for electric cars. My room was super clean, cozy and beautiful! The bathroom is very modern and chic. There's even a shoe spoon in the room! Wow! I always miss that in the hotels! In the evening I spontaneously ate in the in-house restaurant on the ground floor. Wild garlic soup, it was really, really tasty!!! There was a lot going on in the restaurant and beer garden. 15 minutes walk to downtown Freiburg. There are supermarkets and bakeries everywhere in the immediate vicinity. Sbahn station right next to the guesthouse. Still, it's not bothersome at all. After checking out, I was even allowed to leave my car in the yard for a few hours longer so that I could go to the clinic with my husband. Thank you very much for the great stay! I'll definitely be back!

Very tasty food and very nice service, we were just a bit forgotten when it came to dessert. You have to park in the public paid parking lots and then walk a bit. But we only ate there, maybe parking is easier if you have a room there.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Paradies restaurant. The room was clean, nicely furnished and functional - exactly what you want for a relaxing night's sleep. So we arrived at the hotel here today and the hotel is really super, super clean, great with nice service, the restaurant down here, everything tastes perfect and for this price it's really great. I will come here more often. In any case, I can only rate it with five stars

We made reservations for 20 people four weeks ago. When we were there on Saturday our reservation was canceled. At first I wanted to cancel because of illness in the family. But no one there was interested. Since an incredible 90% cancellation fees would have been due, I wanted to arrive a day later. This was clarified by phone 2 days in advance! However, this establishment has questionable business practices! Despite the announced late arrival, a no-show was reported to booking dot com and the room was cancelled. So it was no longer possible to arrive the following day! No understanding of my situation and no money back. Goes through the lawyer now! I'm really mad! This behavior is unbelievable. Zero stars for the lack of humanity and the audacity to collect so much money for services not provided! PS: and everything is constantly being blamed on booking dot com… the fact that the decisions are made there is a blatant lie! Besides, I never claimed to have been with you... your lies are getting enough!

We were there after a funeral at lunchtime with around 26 people in the heated pavilion and were very satisfied, actually happy with the place, the friendly and quick service, the fine food and the bill - which was surprisingly moderate for us despite all the positive things. Thank you again!

Unfortunately I give three stars, Overnight stay for 5 days, every night was noisy, because from above the room you can hear so much when someone walks and when they move the furniture that it's a horror...!!!!!! Unfortunately when you do it is of course bad luck for you. Otherwise, the rooms are very neat and really clean. There are no objections, congratulations. It is a great pity that breakfast is only served from 8 am, so who works from 7...jbg. But good luck to my son, Balkan is a bakery on Coška, ​​so burek will come in handy 😀

The last visit was in the summer, outside in the beer garden. The wild boar currywurst dish that was offered was one of the best I have eaten in recent years. Very friendly service and even in the event of misunderstandings, we act in the guest's best interest, which is not always common in local restaurants today.

Breakfast until 11 a.m. is great👍Comfortable beds, big and small pillows. Large, comfortably designed bedroom with shower. Room on the 2nd floor with blackout blind👍 Downstairs on the ground floor there is a large restaurant with excellent food and really fast, friendly service. The ladies and gentlemen have everything in view. We would love to come back👍👍👍

Let alone accomplishing this in a reasonable amount of time. Dear Paradise, it's just not right to be so greedy. And it can't happen fast enough until capable service robots at least replace your team.

A year ago I visited the Paradies restaurant and was absolutely thrilled with the cheese spaetzle, accompanied by a side salad. The value for money was unbeatable, and the combination of crispy onions, wonderful spaetzle and delicious cheese sauce made it one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. The hotel is absolutely first class. 👍

It's very comfortable, there's plenty of space inside and outside. Have a large selection of drinks, the food is good but not much to choose from. We really enjoyed the evening with the group.

Breakfast is only available from 8, which would sometimes be too late for a business trip, but you can find alternatives for an early breakfast in the neighborhood.

The tarte flambée on the menu comes from the freezer, I wanted it without the paperoni and that wasn't possible for that very reason.

We wanted to stop by for breakfast with the family on Sunday. Service was terribly bad. The breakfast menu has no meaning on Sundays. This was explained to us on site. There is only brunch and nothing else. This fact is not apparent (neither online nor on the map). We were treated very badly and poorly served. Never again !!!!

Wir hatten für ein Geburtstag Abendessen zwei Wochen im voraus einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir kamen, wurden wir wegen einer geschlossenen Gesellschaft völlig unprofessionell und mit wenig Verständnis für die Situation abgewiesen.

Brunch war super. Es hatte einige Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Es warwn dort nicht so viele Gäste wodurch es schön ruhig und entspannt war. Frühstück Buffet (für 2 Personen) mit jeweils einem Kaffee kostete insgesamt 70€. Was selbst uns überraschte.

Öfters was zum abholen bestellt aber auch vor Ort. Alles bestens. Macht weiter so.
