We celebrated a surprise engagement party with you. First of all: there were 30 of us and I had a lot of contact with you in advance about the planning. I was always helped and they tried very hard to please me. The evening was very good for us. The location is tight, but you know beforehand after viewing. But a really nice view, a nice waitress who even took the time to film the entire application for us. The meal was a four course meal. To be honest, a lot of time passed between the starter and the main course, but the restaurant was fully booked, so of course it's understandable. It didn't bother my fiancée and me because we had enough time to talk to each of our guests. The food tasted very good (both of us) and we didn't get any complaints from our families or friends. We would come back at any time. Drinks were regularly refilled and brought new. We were able to celebrate Open End and had a lot of fun. Many thanks to Leni & of course everyone else on your team!

I don't know why people go there. Food was not good at all, meat was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. After we asked whether we could fry the meat again, we were only discussed and talked cheekily. Noodles were soggy and served without sauce. From starter to main course it took over 2 hours. They're just lucky with the location.

Fantastic view We toasted my husband's birthday at midnight. There was nothing going on there for Saturday night. Too bad for Kaiserslautern

Unfortunately my steak was too well done, but I was the only one at our table who was like that. The rest was great!

The food was exceptional. I had the Argentine beefsteak cooked medium and it was very good. My wife had a type of noodles with truffles and it was also excellent. Portion sizes are not huge, but was large enough that we were full. There is an active bar with a lot if activity because they have a huge cocktail menu. I tried a rhubarb freeze which is basically a slushy. On a side note I drank a little quick at first and managed to get a brain freeze... the only bad thing is paper straws, but that is life nowadays. The view from our seat was super. If you're looking for a higher class restaurant with good food and great views, you should try this one. Recommend reservations because sometimes it gets full.

Very nice view, cozy, not too loud music, a bit cramped. Service friendly, even if difficult to reach. (Unfortunately she didn't ask if everything was OK...) Unfortunately, that's about it for the good. You get dry baguette as a free entree. Unfortunately there is nothing included, so the taste is disappointing and dry. The expensive steak wasn't seasoned well, it tasted bland, despite the herb butter, which didn't really taste fresh either. The knife was a disaster, you could only tear the meat with it. Unfortunately, the turkey schnitzel was very dry and tasted unpleasant and strange/atypical. The fries were also very dry. Some of the lettuce was wilted and sandy. The ice cream was not or barely fried...the last few years it was much better. Unlike before, the cocktail was cooked! no set and apparently smaller too. It's a shame because the prices are steep.

We had a great girls' evening for two at twenty-one at the weekend. The menu invites you to come back because you just want to try the other dishes too. The food was super tasty and we both really enjoyed it. Everything is freshly prepared and, to my delight, many herbs are used. You can tell that people cook with a lot of joy and commitment. The ambience with the beautiful view over Kaiserslautern - we had an enchanting sunset - cannot be topped. The service girls were very attentive and accommodating. All in all: Next time you won't have to wait long.

The ambience, high above the city of Kaiserslautern and the unbeatable RoofTopBar with DJ is really great. The food we enjoyed there was terrific. The entire staff was super friendly and extremely attentive. In addition, there is a really great price-performance ratio. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for the great evening...we will see each other again

If you are looking for a very special ambience and want to enjoy the best quality, then definitely stop by Twenty One. It's best to reserve now. Small spoiler, every now and then there is also octopus (unfortunately we were too late today). We had delicious cocktails such as the “Twenty One” Dreams or “Sex on the Beach”. Beautiful view, delicious food and nice staff.

Beautiful views, was able to make a reservation for outdoor seating on a Friday night to watch the sunset. Food was decent, but not the best. The service wasn’t bad, but also not the best. However, the atmosphere was great! Will most likely be back for drinks and the views again. Parking is best at nearby parking garage under the theatre next door. The restaurant takes card and cash. After a certain time the main doors into the building close, and you have to walk around the side to a smaller entrance to gain access to the elevators which will take you to the twenty first floor, where the restaurant is at.

The view was amazing; however, when you sit down, you notice that all of the chairs are ripped and the tables are all banged up. It was not the atmosphere that I was expecting. The food was ok- it tasted ok but was bland. The service was not good. It was slow, which is fine, but we sat there for 30 minutes at the end of our meal waiting for our dessert that we ordered. Finally we flagged down a different waitress because we just wanted to pay and leave. We ended up paying for a dessert that we never received just so we could leave. We spent over 2 hours there, it was overpriced, and I would not recommend.

The food was so good!! I asked for my steak to be medium rare and they did not disappoint! We celebrated a birthday and they allow open flame for the cupcake. The waitress was so sweet and extremely attentive. the only critique is the chairs need to be updated, some don’t match and the leather is peeling. Other than that, the food is amazing, the cutlery set up is exquisite and the drink options are more than plenty, alcohol and non alcoholic beverages.

Friendly atmosphere with a breathtaking view of the city. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the service and the kitchen. We ordered the gnocchi. After 45 minutes we asked the waitress how far our dishes were being prepared. She told us she would be right there and as luck would have it, 30 seconds after we asked, the dishes arrived. The meat was very tender, but the gnocchi looked more like balls of mashed potato than gnocchi. We didn't have dessert. All in all a little disappointed.

Very beautiful view! Unfortunately food and drinks not as expected. The steak arrived at the table cold, wasabi mashed potatoes were without wasabi and rosemary potatoes were without rosemary. Cocktails were very watery. I expected better overall for this restaurant. However, red wine is recommended and the view is worth it!

Long waiting times and somehow getting old.

If it weren't for the beautiful view, I would only give one star. The chairs are worn and old. The food, sorry, is really nothing special. At prices like these, I expect significantly better quality. Everything is much too narrow. The tables are far too close together and you feel cramped. Overall, unfortunately not a good experience.

Great view, service quick and friendly

Of course, this place is beautiful with its view of the city. It is especially wonderful to sit at the table on a high bar stool at sunset, on the second level terrace, enjoying your favorite dish and drinking your favorite drink. The view of the city is stunning. Definitely a must visit.

Why is there a phone number if no one answers? It doesn't matter when you try :( Especially since the website is so slow to set up and operate that you can hardly get any information out of it. So one visit won't do anything.

We have been to this establishment a few times and every time it has proven to be worth coming. The food is executed perfectly, the presentation is gorgeous. The staff is always very kind and professional. I suggest you come and be amazed.

Very nice staff. Had to return a steak because it was rare instead of medium… it came back raw. A nonsense for the price. It also felt like it wasn't seasoned. Salt and pepper were brought upon request. In my opinion it should always be on the table. Especially if you run a supposedly fancy restaurant. At least the prices are nice. The view is of course very special. But don't put the prices and the food into perspective. In summary: everything is pretty standard, except for the view.

We were there with a larger group. Bright, pleasant and very well-kept atmosphere. The reservation by telephone two days in advance worked perfectly. The view of Kaiserslautern from the 21st floor is of course fantastic. There is also a terrace, but unfortunately it is not too big. The menu is very flexible. From salads and comparatively inexpensive but sophisticated pasta dishes to three-course meals, there is something for everyone. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the drinks were also very well maintained. The prices are more than OK for what is on offer. I would like to emphasize the always friendly and very attentive service. The negative thing was the long wait for the food, we waited over an hour. For me personally there are two other minor negative points, but everyone should evaluate them for themselves. When the restaurant is full of guests, it is quite loud. To have a conversation you have to speak a little louder and listen more carefully. I know this isn't a problem for many, but it's stressful for me. Secondly, you have to go to the counter to pay by card. Even if Germany is a digitally developing country, that is no longer up to date. The bottom line is a great, very well-run restaurant with an exceptional ambience and imaginatively created food. Risk of recurrence: 100%

We enjoyed a very good menu and time at 21. We definitley come again to spend more time here!

By far the worst staff in Kaiserslautern! 1. we are given a table that is not clean. 2. We wait 14 minutes until they bring us a card and even notice us, unfortunately we have to wave with our hand that someone was finally coming. A pure disaster. (The table was then cleaned at our request.) 3. Let's order 2 x vitamin bombs, and you forget the honey because you don't know that honey is included, as it says on the menu. 4. Staff and mainly the women are cold and work like robots. I still tipped €2.50 with the thought that you might have to give a percentage of it to the bar, but you definitely didn't deserve it. We are definitely never coming back! Great ambience and beautiful view and that's it.

Been a couple of times with bigger groups and we always had good food and good service, although a little slow. Great views on a nice day. Food was really good as well.

Great restaurant, very nice staff. Handing over the red wine bottle and the advice on it could be refined a bit 😉. The wine was still good. The food was also very tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo. Nice time.

The view is really beautiful at any time of the year, especially in the evening. The facility is already a bit old. E.g. Cables hanging from the ceiling, broken skirting boards lying on the floor, scratched tea lights, worn menus/chairs, tables, etc. What was unfortunately really disappointing was that even on a Thursday evening around 9:30 p.m., there was little activity, the service staff were eating at the table stands at the counter, is inattentive and is mainly busy setting up tables. When we had to go to the front to pay because no one was coming to the table anymore, it took a while even here because our chewing waitress wanted to finish her conversation with her colleagues.

We booked an appointment there early for our wedding in July 2024. This was promised to us “bindingly” in the words of the owner. Invitation cards were sent to the guests. Now the news came - the appointment would be given to a closed company "the city" of Kaiserslautern, as there would be a contract with them. We were not informed in advance that this could happen. We have already bought table decorations etc., but we don't know whether we will be allowed to decorate ourselves in our new location. We are more than disappointed with Twenty one and would not recommend anyone to plan their wedding there.

Eine der schönsten Aussichten in Kaiserslautern, Speisen über den Dächern von Kaiserslautern oder nur auf einen Drink, super Service viel Auswahl. Und im Sommer auf der Dachterrasse zu Essen und den Sonnenuntergang zu bestaunen auf einen guten steak und eine Flasche Wein einfach Himmlisch und sehr Romantik. Kann ich jedem empfehlen der einen schönen Romantischen abend verbringen möchte mit seinen liebsten. Aufzüge vorhanden, Parkplätze, Kartenzahlung möglich!

This was my second time at Twenty-one and this time I got to try their food. I have to say the staff is very friendly and a reservation is highly recommended. Even though we reserved a table still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. Starting with the atmosphere. It is very vibrant and if you arrive for dinner as I did you will notice the hustle and bustle of the restaurant and bar. I loved it as drinks were fairly priced. As we waited to be seated the staff offered us a seat at the bar and enjoyed a good hefeweissen beer. Now for the food. I did think overall for the whole meal it was a bit pricey. As I ordered the menu to get the most variety. The soup was tasty but for a pumpkin soup w/shrimp. I honestly thought their would be more instead of just two. Now onto the other dishes. This was the menu and it had good flavor just wasn't mind blowing. The salad had a good balance but the real kicker her was the main. The meat was very tender but the sauce was lacking flavor especially for a red wine sauce. The dessert now that was one of my favorites. It was simple yet had honey cascaded over vanilla ice cream and that ended the night perfectly. Finally, for the review. I would have to give this restaurant a 6 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale. From booking a reservation and still having to wait to the food not adding up flavor wise. I do believe the atmosphere and the staff make up for the restaurants lack of food quality. As for the bar definitely give that a check as you will have a beautiful view of Kaiserslautern and your on the 21st floor.

Gestern zum ersten Mal im 21. Bin wirklich begeistert von den Speisen, Getränken, dem Service und der gesamten Location. OK-der Geräuschpegel war etwas hoch - aber da hat das Team ja keinen Einfluss drauf. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr schöne Location. Waren nicht zum Essen da, sondern nur um was zu trinken. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz ohne Reservierung noch einen Platz an der Theke angeboten bekommen

Nous avons été très froidement accueillis par le Staff, malgré une réservation préalable, pour dîner. La table où on a été placé était la pire du restaurant, alors qu'il était vide et qu'il avait des tables libres ailleurs. Le temps d'attente pour recevoir les cartes était beaucoup trop long (une quinzaine de minutes environ, encore pour un lieu vide, ou presque) et le temps pour être servi pareil. Le plats étaient corrects, sans plus. Le pire dans tout ça était la serveuse qui demandait avec une arrogance incroyable un pourboire, alors que le service laissait franchement à désirer, et qui faisait la tête, voire nous regardait de travers quand on a refusé. En somme un lieu qui ne respecte pas ses clients, ou du moins pas tous.

Klasse Ausblick über die Stadt, gute Auswahl an Getränken und faire Preise. Ambiente könnte einen Anstrich vertragen. Speisekarte ist ok. Personal ist sehr höflich. Für Getränke sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gute Küche, das Essen ist hervorragend und das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich, da man einen wunderbaren Ausblick über hoch über die Stadt Kaiserslautern hat.

Leider etwas enttäuscht. Es sind einfach viel zu viele Menschen da oben in dem relativ kleinen Gastraum eingepfercht. Es ist viel zu hell, viel zu laut... kein schöner Ort um Abends mit Freunden zu essen. Man muss sich permanent anschreien, da es rundherum viel zu laut ist und kann sich daher nicht richtig entspannen und unterhalten. Als das Essen da war, waren die Kinder enttäuscht, da keine Pommes dabei waren. Abgesehen davon, dass ich zwar denke, dass Kinder innso einen Fall, ruhig auch was anderes essen können, finde ich es schon seltsam, wenn in einem Restaurant die Pommes ausgehen, ich finde es auch seltsam, dass ein Koch aus einer Kartoffel nicht schnell Pommes machen kann, aber noch viel befremdlicher finde ich es, dass man das bei oder nach der Bestellung nicht sagen kann und dem Gast einfach etwas anderes hinstellt - kommentarlos hinstellt. Werden hier nicht wieder essen gehen. Schade, dann man könnte dort oben sicher etwas wirklich tolles entstehen lassen. Aber es scheint, dass dem Besitzer nicht daran gelegen ist, dass der Gast sich wirklich wohl fühlt.

Amazing place with great view, good food and coctails especially for a date night. Interior is cosy but also romantic with lots of tables next to the windows so you can enjoy your view as well as outside terrace that wraps around the restaurant. Staff was nice & friendly, we didn't wait for our food too long, loved both of our coctails. It was reasonably priced, we expected it to cost a bit more but we ended up paying almost the same as anywhere else. 4 stars just because my meal wasn't seasoned enough like I would like, but I guess that's just personal preference. Would definitely come back!

Komme immer wieder gerne hier her. Meist zum Geschaeftsessen. So auch dieses Mal. Die Aussicht ist super, das Personal aufmerksam. Das Essen finde ich gut, ein Kollege war mit seinen Nudeln nicht ganz zufrieden. Vielleicht koennte man mal wieder das ein oder andere Auf der Karte austauschen.

Komme immer wieder gerne. Leider kann man oben im Außenbereich nicht reservieren, sodass man relativ früh kommen muss. Manchmal ist großzügig abgesperrt, wenn "VIPS" kommen, das ist schade. Der Sonnenuntergang von dort ist der Hauptgrund, warum viele gerne kommen. Die Preise sind gut angezogen in der letzten Zeit. Das Essen ist ganz okay, ich mag die Getränke lieber ;-)

We came for dinner on my birthday. The food seemed to be made picture perfect. Most importantly it was made to order and was fresh. The views of Kaiserslautern were spectacular. The bar was fully staffed, so if you order a drink you will receive it quickly. My recommendation for improvement: The restaurant needs to decide if it’s an Asian, Italian or German restaurant. This is my personal opinion.

OK, I hate to start off with 5 stars on my first visit because I will have high expectations on my next visit, which I am scared of, but I must try it again. First, I'll say the location is nice. Top floor with a view of the city. The inside of the restaurant is not huge but just right and cozy. Can even have a seat outside on the wrap around balcony. Checks all the atmosphere blocks. ✅️ I was there with an excited and fun birthday group of 6. I did not get the lovely cute server, but thank you for your patience and being a good group photographer.😁🙈 She was very responsive, polite, friendly, and attentive. Checks all the service blocks. ✅️ Ok The food...I didn't know what to expect as I have been putting visiting the restaurant for over a year. I feel it was worth the wait and exceeded expectations. I thought it was going to be just a fancy bougie place with subpar tastes and portions. I was wrong. The food was flavorful and the prtions were just right. I tried multiple dishes, and they all had unique flavors. They were presented well and tasted delicious. Even tried a couple of desserts. The chocolate chili brownie was okay, but the star of the show was the mango tiramisu. That was delicious. They have a good selection of wine and a bar that I will investigate more of on my next trip. I definitely will make a return trip to see if the 5 stars still hold true.

Ich genieße diese Art der Locations. Eine coole Lounge über den Dächern von Kaiserslautern. Gute Cocktails und relaxte Stimmung. Personal empfand ich als sehr angenehm, freundlich und aufmerksam. Hier noch einen letzten Absacker zu nehmen ist echt klasse! Kann die Location zum relaxen und genießen durchaus empfehlen.

Dem Lokal und Umgebung ist nichts zu beanstanden, Sogar der Chef war sehr kundenfreundlich!!

Service top, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam., Mobiliar sehr abgelebt. Waren etwas irritiert Location war früher top. Kein Vergleich zu heute Preise für Getränke sind viel zu teuer. Cocktails auf der Terrasse in Plastikcocktailgläser serviert zu gesalzen Preisen.

War gar nicht erfreut über meinen Tisch neben dem Ausgang zur Terrasse und über ein Putenschnitzel mit Pommes aus der Fritteuse genauso wenig. Das lassen wir in Zukunft.

Supertolle Lage, Aussicht des Restaurants vom Rathaus über K´town. Die Speisenauswahl war sehr exklusiv, schwierig evtl. für Familien mit Kindern das passende Essen zu finden. Essen war frisch, lecker, der Service freundlich, etwas zu zurückhaltend bei Getränkenachbestellungen. Kritik ist die doch schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommenen Möbel und vor allen Dingen, dass es im gesamten Lokal und man dann selbst sehr nach gebratenem Essen riecht (Abzugsanlage der Küche?) auch wenn nur wenige Leute im Lokal waren. Dennoch überwiegt der sehr positive Teil des Besuchs.

Gutes Essen mit hervorragendem Service und bester Aussicht

Der Außenbereich ist etwas lieblos, daraus könnte man so viel mehr machen... eine Grundreinigung, etwas Deko, ein paar Lichter und es würde so viel mehr hermachen.

Die Möbel haben schonmal bessere Tage gesehn. Die Cocktails sind ungenießbar. Der Service dauert und dauert und am Ende die Frage: „Möchten Sie Trinkgeld hinzufügen?“ Ne möchte ich nicht. Kann das Restaurant nicht beurteilen da wir nur oben auf der Terrasse waren. Die Aussicht ist Klasse, Getränke und Essen naja.

Der Koch kam zum Tisch. Er ist einfach nur gut gelaunt. Steckt an. Einfach einen schönen Abend verbracht. Daumen hoch für die Aktion für die Türkei
