A large menu with plenty of choices, everything was delicious, fresh, and pleasantly spicy, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive! All this at very reasonable prices. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back!

(Visiting from USA)- allergic to nuts and fish! I usually choose to stay away from Indian food due to my extreme allergies and the possibility of cross contamination (and the language barrier) The owners of this business are amazing, great English speakers and very confident in the answers to my questions! I ordered the chicken curry and my husband got the butter chicken with naan! Very flavorful, perfect portions, very clean and affordable establishment!! Would love to come again!

Highly recommend!! My parents and I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Monday and we had a fantastic experience. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, fresh and according to our desired spice level but the owner is such a nice gentleman. We had a long conversation and learned a lot about his business as well as his lovely family. From our conversation we could tell he and his family run this restaurant with all their heart, which ensures the high quality of food and excellent service. He is a man of principles and doesn't serve alcohol which I really appreciate as it shows that for him values go over money. If you are in Kaiserslautern don't miss this gem of a place.

We stopped by spontaneously and didn't regret it. A starter, two main courses, and two drinks for just under €40 is more than reasonable. The dishes were delicious, and the service was quick and attentive. The only thing that might suggest a reservation is needed is the small seating area. We'd be happy to come back.

Their delivery time is listed as 25-40 minutes on lieferando which seemed reasonable but after placing the order it increased the time from 30 minutes to 57 minutes and after that the updates stopped completely and its been an additional 10 minutes since then. The customer service wasn't helpful, mumbling something about where I want the order delivered (gate or walk idk). I paid for convenience but all I have received is inconvenience. The platform doesn't let me cancel my order and get a refund too. If you value your time and have things to do I will highly recommend not ordering delivery from them.

This place is delicious! The flavors are incredible and the meat is expertly cooked. Too often we find chicken and lamb to be overcooked and here it was perfect. Cannot recommend enough.

Wow, our normal Indian restaurant is closed on Monday so we tried the Raj Mahal and we were not disappointed. I enjoy Vindaloo and my wife likes Korma. I like mine extra, extra hot. Their Vindaloo was exceptional in taste. They brought me a small container of freshly made pepper sauce made with yogurt that I could add for additional heat. It was superb. In this way I could take an ordinarily hot dish to extremely hot like I like it. The food, the service, and everything was exceptional. This place will definitely be a place that we return to. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Curry.

We've been ordering regularly or eating in for many months. The food was always delicious, the portions were large enough to keep us full, and the owners and wait staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend it. The best tomato soup I've ever had!

The food is delicious, especially because you get seconds of rice, which means you're full. And you enjoy the meal at the same time. The service is also top-notch, and the atmosphere is actually the same. However, the restrooms need to be cleaned. It's not a big deal, but there are small puddles everywhere. And dirt that has accumulated during the day. Just wipe them with a cloth every now and then, and that's it. The paper towels were also empty. But, like I said, otherwise it was great!

One of worst lamb Briyani ever had in my life. I noticed small pieces of chicken looks like lamb meet was just added into rice and served. For sure not the fresh meat ..I strongly recommend not to try lamb Briyani

There were four of us on October 22nd. eat in the restaurant. The owners are very nice. The restaurant is small but very nicely decorated. The food (starter and main course) was very tasty. We had a vegan and a vegetarian in the group and everyone was “happy” with their food. We will definitely be back and can recommend the RajMahal with a clear conscience!

My first experience trying Indian food (and 2nd, 3rd, 4th and hopefully many more!). Everything I've tried here has been absolutely delicious! Expect a brief wait because quality food takes time to prepare, but it is SO worth it. Staff are always friendly and helpful. If I could go here every day, I probably would. I always inhale the naan bread appetizers so quickly I forget to take a picture. Staff recommended the pistachio, almond, saffron kulfi which was so delicious. They were also very accommodating for my service dog. The decor is also very nice with a good atmosphere.

The food tastes really great and, in my opinion, authentic. I'm happy to accept that it also costs a little more. What I unfortunately have to complain about is that I ordered there for the second time with my girlfriend, always with the advice that my friend's food should be made without spiciness because she can't stand spiciness. I can't explain why the Butter Chicken (mild) has a similar level of spiciness to the Lamb Byrani (spicy). I can handle it without any problems, but unfortunately it won't be edible for my girlfriend, even if the food is really well made.

We ordered and the food was delivered quickly. Unfortunately, the Capri Sun was forgotten in our children's menu. The food tasted good, but not outstanding. The lamb dish had hardly any meat in it and the chicken tikka masala had beef instead of chicken!!! We were looking forward to it and were unfortunately disappointed.

Great lunch buffet for €15 (as of April 2024) if you love Indian, this is the right address. It is very comfortable and you can also sit outside when the weather is nice. The service is 1a and you receive a very friendly welcome. Thank you very much for the delicious buffet. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone.

We had their all you can eat lunch for 15 euros, and for the price, it was good. They have six curries, two chicken and four vegetarian. You get rice and the crispy snacks, but everything else is separate. The curries were all good, but the rice was a little hard. All together, it was worth the price, especially if you want a variety.

I really enjoyed eating from there, but unfortunately I found that the quality and taste had deteriorated significantly and the price had increased. Chicken Korma, the sauce has become quite watery, the rice has also been saved and the naan bread used to be much better.

I ordered the tandoori and stuffed it like everyone else who has already mentioned here and was only served 3-4 chicken leg fillets. However, there were welcome tapas like papadum with 3 sauces on our table, which still disappointed me because of the main meal. Unfortunately I don't need to repeat it. No, I didn't take a photo because it didn't impress me visually or taste-wise.

Gestern Abend erstmals und zufällig nach einer Veranstaltung dort essen gewesen. Wir kamen ca. 10 min vor Ladenschluss aber wurden trotzdem freundlich und ruhig bedient und durften entspannt essen. Vielen Dank hierfür! Das Essen war super authentisch und lecker, nicht wie sonst in indischen Restaurants alles mit Sahne aufgefüllt. Klare Empfehlung.

Wow, das war wirklich lecker und bekömmlich. Die Portionen waren Recht gross und total frisch gekocht. Der Chef und die Familie recht nett. Das Essen war perfekt abgeschmeckt. Gerne wieder. Einer der besten Inder die wir in letzter Zeit besucht haben ( die Inhaber sind Pakistani).

Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! War zum ersten Mal dort. Anfangs war ich etwas stutzig da die Mitarbeiter nicht sehr zuvorkommend schienen. Essen war aber sehr gut. Hatte das Chicken Curry mit Naan Brot, Cola und die Homemade Kirsch Limonade. Teller sehr großzügig Naan war frisch gemacht die Limo hat mich nicht überzeugt aber im Großen und Ganzen super

Essen vom Geschmack her ok aber wenn ich für 16€ ein Teller mit sosse und drei kleine mini stückchen Fleich bekomme, dann komme ich sicherlich nicht nochmal. Suppe bekomme ich besser und günstiger wo anders. AMBIENTE erinnert sehr an döner imbiss Bude... Schade....positive Bewertungen kann ich hier nicht nachvollziehen.

Ich hatte was mit Lamm und Mandel-Kokos Sauce. Es war eher ein Berg Reis mit einem Saucenspiegel und 5 Stückchen Lamm. Der Mango Lassi hat geschmeckt wie aus dem Supermarkt. Schade, mein erstes Mal indisch und dann war es enttäuschend 🙄

Wir kamen an einem Wochenende 5 Minuten vor Feierabend zufällig vorbei. Trotz der späten Stunde und der anstehenden Schließungszeit wurden wir freundlich gebeten, Platz zu nehmen und bekamen drei wundervolle Gerichte serviert. Alles frisch, authentisch und sehr lecker! Jederzeit gerne wieder! Sehr sympathischer Service !

It was one of the most delicious Pakistan/Indian curry I’ve ever tried in Germany! The staff and owner was super nice and friendly, we talked a lot and they shared me some great stories here in Kaiserslautern, it was really glad to spend a nice time there with delicious food and enthusiastic services !! If there’s chance again, I’ll definitely be back ! BTW the food I had was chicken curry 🍛 Huge recommended!!!

Die portionen sind zu klein und die bedienung spricht garkein deutsch. Geschmacklich wars ok. Würde hier nicht nochmal essen. Nachtrag: Wenn in jeder 2. Rezension steht dass die portionen zu klein sind, dann versteh ich ehrlich nicht was es da noch zu diskutieren gibt mit dem Kunden. Geschmacklich wars ok. Wenn das der Anspruch ist, dann alles richtig gemacht. Für mich ist das allerdings nicht überzeugend. Deshalb komme ich nicht nochmal hierher und die freche Antwort geht echt garnicht.
