Were disappointed. The appetizer plate and dessert were nothing special. Prices are now very ambitious. The meat dishes don't blow you away either. Will try out the restaurants on Weidengasse.

I agree with the opinions of the more recent critics. The Asmali Kodak (Deluxe, by the way, is quite embarrassing as a name annex, almost only topped by "Elit") was once a great restaurant, but now it's just mediocre. Prices have risen sharply, but quality has declined sharply at the same time. The mezes were bland and not fresh, the salad with the meat dish was really bad, I've also eaten the künefe much better. To be fair, the meat tasted good. The decline in quality not only affects Asmali Konak, but also many other restaurants on Keupstrasse. Unfortunately, the glory of earlier days seems to be over. It's a shame, the trip from Ehrenfeld to the schääl sick is no longer worth it. The positive thing is that you can also drink a beer in Asmali Kanak, which is a notable exception on Keupstrasse. And the parking situation is also catastrophic.

I drank head-patch soup. It was the worst soup I've ever tasted in my life. The waiters are very polite towards German customers, but as a Turk, I did not receive the same courtesy. As soon as you enter, they act like you're looking at someone, and when you pay the bill, they behave the same way. If I had seen the restaurant owner, I would have mentioned it, but he wasn't there. We ate there with three people, the meat wasn't seasoned at all and for the money we paid it was a disgrace!!! We were charged 40 euros for 0.2 liters of raki, which we didn't even like, we wouldn't have paid that much in any nice nightclub... it's a complete rip-off!!! We will never enter this restaurant again, let alone recommend it to anyone!!!

There are many fancy restaurants on the street it is located on. I do not want to make negative comments about other Restaurants. However, I definitely want to say this: IT IS ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE OTHERS IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND TASTE. A must-visit place.

The tables are very close together and the air was stuffy. In my opinion, the service staff needs to be better trained. It's a shame to gossip about the guests in the middle of a restaurant. Hello, we came from Turkey as guests. I have a few constructive criticisms. Inside, the tables were arranged very close to each other. It's all well and good not to turn away the customer, but there was almost no room left to pass. The food also arrived late due to this crowd. It was still stuffy inside because of the crowd and there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Additionally, acidic drinks should not be placed on the table while there is 30 minutes before the meal arrives. It is brought to the table, closed, and the customer is asked about it. Don't make these unprofessional moves to sell extra drinks. Your prices are not low anyway. Abundant sales

Grill wires, the salad that came with our order, were very old, the seats were literally dirty, the toilets were in the basement.

The store is supposed to be 'deluxe', what nonsense! The food wasn't fresh, the plates were totally greasy and the salad was old and dirty. The floor by the toilets was completely smeared with oil, so you had to hold on when walking to avoid slipping. And I don't just mean a small area, but the entire lower area, including the toilets. The service wasn't friendly at all, they walked around dirty and listless. We felt sick after this 'deluxe' visit.

This place has nothing to do with deluxe...Food wasn't good...I ordered a fish plate and had the feeling I had soggy fish sticks on the plate. There was a lot of salad, a few potatoes and 3x breaded fish (small fish) that were swimming in oil or that were taken out of the freezer and fried, I don't know but my plate cost about €25 for what?? ? The quality was so bad. And the shrimp on my plate was a no go (not HELAL). In every supermarket you can get frozen breaded fish, which are better. You can see the map with a QR code on your phone, but no pictures of what the menu looks like. If I had known that I would get breaded fish with shrimp 🥴, then I would have ordered something else. What particularly bothered me was the shrimp on the plate. I'm Muslim and don't eat anything like that, my plate wasn't helal. This was my last visit there. The waitress didn't even know what a Gazoz was. I wanted to order tea and the service just keeps going. And everything expensive for very little. All drinks are overpriced, food is limited and not of good quality...sorry one star is too many. Never again.... Underground deluxe bad... There are better shops on the street. I should have bought 2 kebab bags for hand, would have been full and paid less. Oh yes, they don't offer kebab...

We went to this restaurant for the first time today because we wanted to try something different. We always form our own opinions and do not always base our opinions on previous reviews. But unfortunately we have to join one or two guests. The Adana skewers were very fatty and had a low meat content. The salad that was served wasn't the freshest, but you could eat it. The bread (pide) that was served was warm, but you could tell that it wasn't fresh because it was too dry, which is not the case with fresh flatbread. Service was friendly and we would be happy to give the restaurant a second chance.

Have been here already several times, wether to eat in the restaurant or to take away. Food quality is great, their Adana skewers are a delight and I don't know any other place that grills their chicken skewers as perfectly as it is done here. On our last visit, we needed to remind the waiter two times of a missing item - unusual for this restaurant, where the service in general does not leave any room for complaints.

For some unknown reason they are not taking telephone orders. Seldom experienced such nonsense. Our order then went to someone else.

Compared to most of the negative comments, everything is perfect, except the meat. They talk nicely, it is clean, good atmosphere, professionally dressed waiters. But they don't have clean lamb / sheep meat - the one which has strong sheep taste and it is hard to chew once it gets cold. On the contrary, theirs is very fluffy and easy to chew - most probably injected meat (YouTube search) The taste is good, but Mc. has a good taste as well...

Apparently we wanted to go out for a nice meal... But!!! It started with the service, which was unfriendly. Well, they were just hungry and didn't want to judge too quickly. When the food came, the disaster began. The grill plate I ordered was “mega cold”. I told the waiter and he accepted it without complaining and took the plate back. After about 5 minutes I supposedly got a “new hot plate”!!! Unfortunately no.. he was cold again and with the further complaint, the discussion began. He said it was warm and blah, blah, blah... So, to warn you about the place: the food is really not tasty. Which isn't a bad thing, you can go to Keupstr. soooo delicious food, but not there. Furthermore, you are treated very unfriendly and that doesn't have to be the case. You fucks get money for it! So, offer a reasonable service!!!!

Had dinner there with my family. Ordered 3x Adana, which arrived raw. The chicken skewer was also raw. We let us know and apparently the meat was grilled further but came back raw. We lost our appetite, paid and left immediately. Never again...

So if you come to eat here it's your own fault, we as a family traveled to Cologne and ate in a nice restaurant, we decided on Asmali Konak, it started with the service until the food was bad until it wasn't any more, it was meat raw, little salad 1 bowl for 4 people, drinks are 0.2l so finished in one sip, we didn't want to eat dessert either because we weren't sure if it would taste good. We were there with 7 people, what we didn't eat, we gave the rest to our dog, who also had his concerns.

Friendly service....ambience is ok....The food is not tasty by Turkish standards....meat not cooked enough...price/performance ratio is not right....there is better food on this street. ..With Urfa and Adana kebab the ratio of meat to fat is the wrong way around....you pay for too much fat and too little meat....For us once and never again....It's a shame!

Given a chance again after years, the restaurant was again very pleasant. That lasted about 3-4 years. Yesterday it was bad again. Meze didn't taste good, soup was in a small bowl and only 40% full, as if someone had brought someone's leftovers, and Yoğurtlu Adana was also little and not tasty either. The bread underneath was like yesterday, there was little yoghurt and it wasn't tasty and neither was the rice. We also had falafels that were like breaded, extremely dried out curry balls. But the prices have increased. I don't think it's justified. It can't be that the portions get smaller but more and more expensive and then it doesn't taste good anymore. Sorry, I don't think that's okay.

As for the food, it looks nice and appetizing, but unfortunately the food we ate was a complete disappointment. We didn't enjoy it at all, there was no flavor at all and I felt very nauseous. The next day I got very sick. It needs to be cooked better and an alternative should be offered when you express that you are not satisfied. I definitely do not recommend this place.
