Some 5 minutes walk from my hotel it looked like the best option I had in the area and I was not deceived. Simple but efficient service, nice food and fair prices. Astonishingly for Germany, even the tomatoes and the onions were very nice. No wine, unfortunately

We recently had dinner there, the food was really good but the tables were put together catastrophically, you can't get through because a table has been added everywhere, of course it's busy, everyone wants to eat there, especially on a Saturday, but I was there during I didn't feel comfortable eating because everyone was sitting very close together. When we wanted to leave, I didn't know how to squeeze through the tables in the deluxe restaurant towards the exit.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately there are only digital menu cards that you scan using a QR code. Service was fine - a hint that the plate was burning hot would have been good! The fresh Ayran is worth highlighting positively. I can only recommend the lamb chops and would come again.

Grill wires, the salad that came with our order, were very old, the seats were literally dirty, the toilets were in the basement.

The store is supposed to be 'deluxe', what nonsense! The food wasn't fresh, the plates were totally greasy and the salad was old and dirty. The floor by the toilets was completely smeared with oil, so you had to hold on when walking to avoid slipping. And I don't just mean a small area, but the entire lower area, including the toilets. The service wasn't friendly at all, they walked around dirty and listless. We felt sick after this 'deluxe' visit.

This place has nothing to do with deluxe...Food wasn't good...I ordered a fish plate and had the feeling I had soggy fish sticks on the plate. There was a lot of salad, a few potatoes and 3x breaded fish (small fish) that were swimming in oil or that were taken out of the freezer and fried, I don't know but my plate cost about €25 for what?? ? The quality was so bad. And the shrimp on my plate was a no go (not HELAL). In every supermarket you can get frozen breaded fish, which are better. You can see the map with a QR code on your phone, but no pictures of what the menu looks like. If I had known that I would get breaded fish with shrimp 🥴, then I would have ordered something else. What particularly bothered me was the shrimp on the plate. I'm Muslim and don't eat anything like that, my plate wasn't helal. This was my last visit there. The waitress didn't even know what a Gazoz was. I wanted to order tea and the service just keeps going. And everything expensive for very little. All drinks are overpriced, food is limited and not of good quality...sorry one star is too many. Never again.... Underground deluxe bad... There are better shops on the street. I should have bought 2 kebab bags for hand, would have been full and paid less. Oh yes, they don't offer kebab...

We went to this restaurant for the first time today because we wanted to try something different. We always form our own opinions and do not always base our opinions on previous reviews. But unfortunately we have to join one or two guests. The Adana skewers were very fatty and had a low meat content. The salad that was served wasn't the freshest, but you could eat it. The bread (pide) that was served was warm, but you could tell that it wasn't fresh because it was too dry, which is not the case with fresh flatbread. Service was friendly and we would be happy to give the restaurant a second chance.

Have been here already several times, wether to eat in the restaurant or to take away. Food quality is great, their Adana skewers are a delight and I don't know any other place that grills their chicken skewers as perfectly as it is done here. On our last visit, we needed to remind the waiter two times of a missing item - unusual for this restaurant, where the service in general does not leave any room for complaints.

For some unknown reason they are not taking telephone orders. Seldom experienced such nonsense. Our order then went to someone else.

Apparently we wanted to go out for a nice meal... But!!! It started with the service, which was unfriendly. Well, they were just hungry and didn't want to judge too quickly. When the food came, the disaster began. The grill plate I ordered was “mega cold”. I told the waiter and he accepted it without complaining and took the plate back. After about 5 minutes I supposedly got a “new hot plate”!!! Unfortunately no.. he was cold again and with the further complaint, the discussion began. He said it was warm and blah, blah, blah... So, to warn you about the place: the food is really not tasty. Which isn't a bad thing, you can go to Keupstr. soooo delicious food, but not there. Furthermore, you are treated very unfriendly and that doesn't have to be the case. You fucks get money for it! So, offer a reasonable service!!!!

Compared to most of the negative comments, everything is perfect, except the meat. They talk nicely, it is clean, good atmosphere, professionally dressed waiters. But they don't have clean lamb / sheep meat - the one which has strong sheep taste and it is hard to chew once it gets cold. On the contrary, theirs is very fluffy and easy to chew - most probably injected meat (YouTube search) The taste is good, but Mc. has a good taste as well...

Had dinner there with my family. Ordered 3x Adana, which arrived raw. The chicken skewer was also raw. We let us know and apparently the meat was grilled further but came back raw. We lost our appetite, paid and left immediately. Never again...

So if you come to eat here it's your own fault, we as a family traveled to Cologne and ate in a nice restaurant, we decided on Asmali Konak, it started with the service until the food was bad until it wasn't any more, it was meat raw, little salad 1 bowl for 4 people, drinks are 0.2l so finished in one sip, we didn't want to eat dessert either because we weren't sure if it would taste good. We were there with 7 people, what we didn't eat, we gave the rest to our dog, who also had his concerns.

Friendly service....ambience is ok....The food is not tasty by Turkish standards....meat not cooked enough...price/performance ratio is not right....there is better food on this street. ..With Urfa and Adana kebab the ratio of meat to fat is the wrong way around....you pay for too much fat and too little meat....For us once and never again....It's a shame!

Given a chance again after years, the restaurant was again very pleasant. That lasted about 3-4 years. Yesterday it was bad again. Meze didn't taste good, soup was in a small bowl and only 40% full, as if someone had brought someone's leftovers, and Yoğurtlu Adana was also little and not tasty either. The bread underneath was like yesterday, there was little yoghurt and it wasn't tasty and neither was the rice. We also had falafels that were like breaded, extremely dried out curry balls. But the prices have increased. I don't think it's justified. It can't be that the portions get smaller but more and more expensive and then it doesn't taste good anymore. Sorry, I don't think that's okay.

Service, respect, good, but we were not satisfied, we ate fish, the inside was not cooked, we sent it back, it came back the same way, we will not go there again.

It's a very nice place from the outside. You are greeted very nicely at the door and the waiter who served us was a very gentleman. As for the food, it looks nice and appetizing, but unfortunately the food we ate was a complete disappointment. We didn't enjoy it at all, there was no flavor at all and I felt very nauseous. The next day I got very sick. It needs to be cooked better and an alternative should be offered when you express that you are not satisfied. I definitely do not recommend this place. This is a place you will regret when you taste the food. In my humble opinion, take the negative comments into account and choose another place.

Guys, if you want to go out for a really good, stylish, country-style meal, you have to reserve a table at Asmali konak Deluxe. We were lucky and managed to get a table for three people. For me it was a trip to Turkey that I visited 9 times and always felt at home. Our food was excellent and typical of the country. The service is charming and courteous. The boss was extremely courteous and attentive as well as friendly and not averse to chatting despite the great stress and full restaurant. I got a Türkiye travel feeling and a feeling of home. Personally, I can recommend the restaurant to everyone because everything is right. Price as well as performance and southern friendliness.

A very clean and delicious Restaurant

Breakfast at Asmalı Konak in Cologne, known as "Serpe Kahvaltı", was truly a treat. For 15.90 euros per person you can get a wide selection here. There are of course different versions of this traditional Turkish breakfast, but this version particularly appealed to me. What I particularly liked was the abundance of delicacies that were served. From various types of cheese to olives, fresh vegetables, homemade jams to warm dishes such as menemen or sucuk, you could find everything your breakfast heart could desire here. The quality of the ingredients was also remarkable, which further enhanced the experience. Overall, breakfast at Asmalı Konak was not only delicious, but also a real highlight for me. Turkish tea is always topped up. We will also try the grilled dishes next evening.

High-quality ambience, service super quick and friendly, around 1800 a week the restaurant was around ⅓ busy. The food is rich and very tasty, plus there was (too) much bread and dips. Prices are rather high, but they match the overall quality - highly recommended!

The food was solid but not particularly remarkable. Unfortunately, the "garden" doesn't offer a particularly cozy atmosphere as the guests sit in the middle of the street. It's certainly more pleasant indoors. The portions of meat are quite large, which is personally not my cup of tea. However, the food was served promptly and the staff was extremely nice and attentive.

Highly recommended, it's not my first time eating there

It was okay, nothing more. There were three of us and two of us were not happy. We didn't get the food we ordered and when we asked, they couldn't help us because they probably didn't want to or couldn't understand us. Portions are comparatively small, no one was full and one portion cost 25 euros. In general I didn't feel comfortable there and I won't want to spend my money here again.

We had a warm (small?) appetizer platter and manti. The manti were quite large but very tasty. The starter was very tasty! There was also bread and other dips. Unfortunately it was too much food for us. One of the waiters apparently didn't understand that we wanted to take the rest of the food with us (he probably didn't understand German very well). When we asked as we were leaving, the boss asked us to drink some more tea as an apology. As if that wasn't friendly enough, a few minutes later he brought us a wrapped new portion of manti! Thank you!

It was an incredibly bad meal. Adana kebab was placed in ready-made lavash from the market (it's ice cold, you can warm it up) and served without garnish or rice. It was served with sauce on an empty plate. The price is around 20 Euros. Also, where did you find the 200ml drink, for God's sake? Okay, restaurants make money from soft drinks, but what is a 0.2cl drink? I think there is better quality service and taste even in imbiss.

Extremely disappointed - two weeks ago I reserved a table for three people online. The day before I received an email that my reservation had been canceled. Reason: there is no space available. Why do you send out a confirmation if suddenly there is no space available? It's particularly annoying when friends have been looking forward to the evening all week and come from further afield and are then disappointed at such short notice. And we have to cancel the entire evening. We would have loved to see the cooking skills for ourselves. But we can do without that. We will definitely not make any further reservations. Seldom seen such behavior. When I hear complaints from the restaurant industry in the future, I'll just have to smile. I wish you continued success with this behavior.

I've had a delicious mix of different meats and starters at this place. The portions were quite big, and even after only a starter, I felt full already. The prices were similar to other places I've been to in Cologne.

We've been here so many times, even though it's now over 30 minutes' drive to get here. On this visit to a family celebration in a larger group. As always, it was an unbelievably positive experience. From the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave, there are always friendly and courteous staff in incredible numbers (in other restaurants). This brought everything that was ordered in a friendly and quick manner. I don't focus on individual foods! Just this much: If you take a large group out to dinner, there will ALWAYS be someone there who didn't like something. The meat too dry or the rice too hard or something. Not here! EVERYONE was full of praise for the quality of the food and the wonderful taste. Despite the completely adequate size of the portions (everyone was more than full and often something was left on the plate that we couldn't finish), everyone would have liked to eat a little more because it was so delicious. No matter whether it was a starter, main course or dessert (which we shared because no one could have done it alone. But it couldn't be done without it): everything was super delicious!!! The atmosphere was wonderful and for the first time in 15 years we even bought a bouquet of roses (at a surprisingly reasonable price!) from the hawker. Overall, it was a great visit to the restaurant, as always here! We will be back definitely! If the city of Cologne really wants to ban charcoal grills and it wasn't an April Fool's joke, we'll come to demonstrate with you against it and to support you!!!
