We ordered a mixed grill plate and extra salad and they charged me 16 euros for the salad. I was so disappointed. I only wanted green salad and that's what I paid for. I asked the waiter why they had charged 16 euros for the salad. They said I had ordered shepherd's cheese but we didn't get any shepherd's cheese. I asked where the shepherd's cheese was. The waiter said they hadn't had any left. I don't want to be a joke, this restaurant is unfortunately not for me anymore. The question is...

Awful service. They did not have any rice which we had to buy at another restaurant due to dietary restrictions. Also asked to change around a couple of meat option on a large platter which was not honoured. There was no deduction in price even though we had to spend €7 on the additional rice. The waiter then argued. Definitely not worth visiting which is a shame.

This was one of the best Adana I have ever eaten and ambience in my life. Service a ten out of ten. What else needs to be added? The toilets are so clean and nice I can only recommend going to this restaurant because everything was right from the ambience and the great service.

We were there on Bayram for brunch with the family. It was just beautiful all around. The atmosphere in the shop, the hospitality of the waiters and of course the good food. There was a large and plentiful selection of Turkish specialties, which were served at your own table. No rush, no stress, just relaxed faces around you. A very nice Bayram. Thanks to the entire team.

Recommended to everyone, super tasty there

I made a reservation for the holiday much in advance. They reserved the table for two people at the same time. They offered a table for four in two different places. Then they said we would combine it. We did not accept it. It is not preferred if you are going for an important guest. The tables are next to each other like a dining hall.

Stumbled across the restaurant by chance on Keupstrasse as it was the only well-filled restaurant. The friendly waiter recommended the mixed grill plate, which I also decided on. At the beginning we received a bread basket with dips. I've never had such a good bread basket. This consisted of Simit rings, flatbread and a bread that was fried and tasted like a not sweet Berlin dough. I was totally thrilled. The grill plate itself was also impressive. Every meat was incredibly flavorful and everything was super tender. The price was also reasonable. I will definitely come again.

Great food, okay for the price too. When we go to a concert we usually eat here afterwards. Unfortunately, there is also something disadvantageous when you order something to take away and you should check whether everything is there. We had picked up a relatively large order, unfortunately the dip or yogurt sauce was missing. Hence only the three stars for service.

Best Turkish restaurant, fitting in the legendary Keupstrasse in Cologne!

When comparing restaurants, I always use “Tava” from Essen because we come here regularly and are very satisfied. We tried something alternative with Asmali Konak and were disappointed in some points. We really enjoyed the food itself. The table for 4 was designed for 2 people and was accordingly narrow. The hygiene, especially in the toilets, is unacceptable. The facility didn't make us feel like we had to go here again. In some cases there was no service in sight. Deluxe is definitely out of place. Nevertheless, we wish the nice staff much success and improvement for the future.

Yesterday we were on one concert near the restaurant and had reserved a table there beforehand. We hadn't taken into account that the restaurant was full at around 6:30 p.m. due to Ramadan. Although they couldn't find our reservation, the table worked out. Despite the huge crowd, the service was very nice and quick, and the food was really delicious. Of course it is loud when there are a lot of people in the room are local. It didn't bother us. We'd love to come back.

We were warmly welcomed at the entrance. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. We were always able to reorder bread and dips and were asked several times whether we were satisfied or had any further requests. All around great service and a nice ambience with delicious food.

Adana was average, service good, shop super clean

Fantastic, delicious food. I don't like spicy food, but everything was seasoned normally. No exaggeration. Simply delicious! Large portions. Large selection. Waiting time 15-20 minutes. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. We will definitely be frequent guests!!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times. The food is incredibly delicious! We always come back to try new dishes and we're thrilled every time. I can particularly recommend the Mantar Soslu Tavuk Göğsü (chicken breast with mushroom sauce), which is prepared with fresh mushrooms - an absolute highlight! The Tavuk Sac Kavurma (chicken stir-fry) is also excellent. The service is always very attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. TOP!

My wife and I bought a mixed grill for two. We found it strange that the kebabs were served in a glass pyrex, a more authentic presentation could have been preferred. The taste of the meat was generally very good, but the Adana skewer was a little tight. There should be parsley in the meatballs. Also, tomatoes and green peppers were missing. The chops were really delicious. The portion is quite filling and the price-performance ratio is quite good. The environment is stylish and the ambiance is pleasant. The two gentleman waiters were serving very quickly and courteously. However, there were two middle-aged ladies working there, they were quite sullen. They did not say "hello" or "goodbye", not even the slightest smile. During the meal, no one asked if we were satisfied. The service team needs to pay more attention to customers.

Six of us spontaneously came over and got a place. The portion sizes are good and the price is affordable. Several people had a fallafel plate and it was okay, but unfortunately too dry overall. There was no sauce or dip, and the hummus also contributed to the dryness. The salad was great, but overall I wouldn't order this dish again.

The tip on Keupstrasse: according to our own research, the ONLY place that serves alcoholic drinks 🍺🍷

We always visit Germany with my wife, we are always in different places, we wished we had vineyards today, we really felt upset, I have never seen such a good restaurant in my life, she wanted a mixed breakfast, she wanted roasted eggs, like that, the breakfast was skimpy, it seemed like it was for one person, cucumbers and tomatoes, it was not clear how old they were, it was tattered, the room looked old. Very crowded and therefore restless at the same time.

A street full of different Turkish restaurants. The interior is really beautiful and it is a location where you can have a good meal as a family. The food is really good quality. Lentil soup tastes delicious and looks like it was prepared at home. The taste of the chicken wings and the Adana kebab is so delicious, it feels like you are in Turkey. The waiters are very friendly and walk around in sufficient numbers and are helpful. The prices are under 20 euros. At the end we received tea from the house.

My birthday party at Asmali Konak Deluxe Restaurant was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening with friends. The food was simply sensational! The grill mix for 4 people was so generously portioned that we almost overeaten. Each dish was a taste experience in itself and the freshness of the ingredients was unmistakable. Special thanks to waiter Ahmet abi. His professionalism, friendliness and recommendations made our evening very special. He was always attentive and took excellent care of us. I highly recommend Asmali Konak Deluxe Restaurant! If you want to enjoy delicious Turkish cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the right place for you.

Overall, the food was quite varied, with some highlights such as the delicious paça soup and the tender lamb skewer that really impressed. Unfortunately, not all of the dishes were convincing - the minced meat skewer was unfortunately disappointing and made three of us unwell. It's unfortunate because the restaurant shows great potential, which unfortunately wasn't fully exploited. The service, on the other hand, was absolutely exemplary: attentive, polite and very friendly. This elevates the experience somewhat and deserves recognition. That's why, despite the disappointments, there are still two stars overall.

Great food, good service and a great ambience. Things are very lively and a little louder here. I just thought that was good. We got bread with dips and tea several times. The food was excellent, the meat fresh from the charcoal grill, the salad fresh and like in Turkey. One little thing was just strange. I was told that there was no alcohol, but others were given beer. Why, I don't know. There was no reason for me to deduct a star. I felt very comfortable.

Service bad for dozens of people, that's a no go, someone did that but I ordered Adana plates there was a small lavaş bread just for decoration. I wanted some lavaş bread, so they said that if they didn't have any fresh it wouldn't be delivered, the soup was lukewarm, Salad was very bad Price for 3 people €98, I wonder why Deluxe is totally overrated, it used to be good, I would prefer not to give it a star at all

08.12.2024 How can a chicken skewer be 18.99 euros? This price can buy kilos of chicken. Let me tell you, it is a very good chicken, well served. I opened it and the chicken was burnt. A herb-like salad with strange rice and no dressing whatsoever. I wanted some tzatziki and hot peppers to go with it. They poured the sauce into the soup bowl and mixed it. For such a disgrace, they stylishly wrote deluxe on the sign. I wonder if the sign is deluxe!

I loved the Asmali Konak Deluxe! The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - we were particularly impressed by the appetizer platter and the grill plate. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is great. A must for all fans of Turkish cuisine in Cologne!

The mixed breakfast is absolutely fine and there are no things that will crowd the table unnecessarily or go to waste without being eaten. The menemen is quite good, the marination of the small mozzarellas with felegen and olive oil is quite successful... The quality of service and the courtesy of the employees are at a level that we are not used to seeing in many places on the street, they definitely deserve to be thanked... We just couldn't stop the cool air, which we couldn't understand where it was coming from, and which made us and our little daughter feel a bit cold indoors, even though the doors were closed. Definitely recommended and would go again...

A visit to Asmali Konak on Keupstraße is simply a must! As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed, and even though the restaurant was packed, the team took excellent care of us. The atmosphere is lively and friendly - you immediately feel like you are with good friends. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic, perfectly seasoned dishes that taste really good. We were also impressed by the ambience: it is stylishly and comfortably furnished, so you feel completely at home. If you are visiting Keupstrasse and want to experience Turkish cuisine at its best, you should definitely stop by Asmali Konak. Absolute recommendation!

I said it was a good place because there were a lot of comments. We bought a coffee, a head and trotter breakfast, and a mixed breakfast. We asked for coffee in a bowl before the breakfast. The soup arrived almost at once. The soup arrived, but the spoon did not come. The pastries and bagels were missing in the sprinkled breakfast. There was no smiling face. The fries were cold. The tea did not arrive. As I told them, the tea and bagels were missing. A spoon of pastry came to me and he asks if there is anything missing. How do I know? It was my first time here. I asked him if he could take a photo. I didn't have time. He said it was a 10-second thing, but it was a 10-second thing. I wish it was a new restaurant. It may not have been crowded and crowded, but it's been there for years. Seriously, all the missing things are in the photo. It's obvious, but if he had at least a smiling face, I wouldn't have made this comment again. I agree with the opinions of the more recent critics. The Asmali Kodak (Deluxe, by the way, is quite embarrassing as a name annex, almost only topped by "Elit") was once a great restaurant, but now it's just mediocre. Prices have risen sharply, but quality has declined sharply at the same time. The mezes were bland and not fresh, the salad with the meat dish was really bad, I've also eaten the künefe much better. To be fair, the meat tasted good. The decline in quality not only affects Asmali Konak, but also many other restaurants on Keupstrasse. Unfortunately, the glory of earlier days seems to be over. It's a shame, the trip from Ehrenfeld to the schääl sick is no longer worth it. The positive thing is that you can also drink a beer in Asmali Kanak, which is a notable exception on Keupstrasse. And the parking situation is also catastrophic.

I drank head-patch soup. It was the worst soup I've ever tasted in my life. The waiters are very polite towards German customers, but as a Turk, I did not receive the same courtesy. As soon as you enter, they act like you're looking at someone, and when you pay the bill, they behave the same way. If I had seen the restaurant owner, I would have mentioned it, but he wasn't there. We ate there with three people, the meat wasn't seasoned at all and for the money we paid it was a disgrace!!! We were charged 40 euros for 0.2 liters of raki, which we didn't even like, we wouldn't have paid that much in any nice nightclub... it's a complete rip-off!!! We will never enter this restaurant again, let alone recommend it to anyone!!!

There are many fancy restaurants on the street it is located on. I do not want to make negative comments about other Restaurants. However, I definitely want to say this: IT IS ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE OTHERS IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND TASTE. A must-visit place.

The tables are very close together and the air was stuffy. In my opinion, the service staff needs to be better trained. It's a shame to gossip about the guests in the middle of a restaurant. If there is a need to gossip, perhaps an 'internal' space should be used. Kudos to the kitchen staff! The food was very tasty.
