I always enjoy going there when I visit my friends in Cologne. It's rightly one of their favorite restaurants. First-class food, super nice service with a smile on your face. Lovely and tastefully decorated. Absolute recommendation!!!

It's no longer mine, for reasons: March 2025. A bit of polemic at the beginning: if a restaurateur doesn't have 10 minutes to quickly sweep up his outdoor area/sidewalk - essentially a business card right in front of the shop - after the winter weeks (leaves from autumn/drift from winter), then he'll take better care of his kitchen? Let's hope so... To the restaurant: The interior is a large room with close seating. Therefore it is not only lively, but also unpleasantly loud and hectic. The service - when I visited some time ago - was nice but overwhelmed. The food was “convenience” at best, but often painted over with balsamic squeeze bottle art. Afterwards I find the dishes to be significantly overpriced. Free parking spaces were/are almost non-existent, especially in the evenings. Schlüters (why the "s"), still seems to be going well, it's often full. There are hardly any “classic” restaurant alternatives in the heavily populated area. Especially for the many - including older - residents of Weidenpesch (or northern Nippes) and their families. That's why, in my opinion, Schlüters has a lot of regular guests from Veedel who no longer want to/can't cook for themselves or who may not be very mobile. For me that explains the many positive reviews...but that has little to do with good gastronomy. Tip: In my opinion there is only one really good alternative in the area: Früh em Tattersall. Very nice atmosphere there, especially a great terrace. Good and reasonably priced food. Service: professional, friendly and extremely quick. And yes, the terrace is swept ;-)

We recently stayed at Schlüters for the first time and without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress and served in a friendly and prompt manner. The atmosphere was clean and cozy, we felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty. Would love to come back.

Restaurant review – Schlüters We had a wonderful evening at Schlüters! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the service was quick and efficient. We were particularly impressed by the food: the fish was excellently prepared and served with perfectly seasoned vegetables. A real highlight was the 300 g steak, which was fried to perfection - with crispy fried potatoes and a fresh salad. And all of this for just €29.90 – great value for money! We'll definitely be back. Keep it up!

Ohhh, I really liked it here. 🫶🏻 The Viennese style schnitzel was super tasty - the mushroom cream sauce was almost even better. The lady who served us was also very nice and warm. I'll definitely come back again. 🥰

Schlüters ist die erste Adresse im Kölner Norden. Schmackhafte Gerichte, zivile Preise und freundliches Personal. Die Speisen sind immer liebevoll angerichtet und reichlich bemessen. Die normale Speisekarte wird ergänzt durch eine wöchentlich wechselnde Speisekarte, so dass eine genügende Auswahl an Gerichten zur Verfügung steht. Meine Empfehlung - probiert es aus.

Food was very tasty. The service, on the other hand, was actually terrible. They had reserved a quiet table in a back corner. But then you had to sit at the front of the store where there were people sitting next to you screaming. Then the drinks were brought to us and we had already decided what we wanted to eat. Unfortunately, this was ignored and only recorded after a quarter of an hour. So if my reservation request had at least been taken into account, which was also confirmed, the overall result would have been a little better!

Hmm, kitchen quality with a lot of room for improvement. Stewed meat, such as roulade, should be well cooked, served hot and, above all, very tender and not, as in my case, tough and burnt. Likewise, the sauce was by no means tasty, it tasted rather dull and was very thick. Unfortunately, the opportunity to revive a kitchen classic was missed. This shows the quality of the cooks' craftsmanship... frying schnitzels and frying fries etc., heating up pasta etc. and putting sauce over it, it's not that difficult and even non-cooks can do it. It's a shame about the evening.

We got a place for 2 at short notice. Food was great, we had Viennese style schnitzel and beef roulade. Eating took half an hour. So within the framework. Staff was friendly and price was okay.

Everything ok, food good, good selection of drinks, friendly service. The smell of the sewer outside was a bit unpleasant, but I don't know if that's always the case.

A very cozy restaurant where it is best to reserve seats in advance. The food is exceptionally good. Unfortunately, the service depends on who is serving you. Finally we were served by a great mother-daughter duo, which was a real highlight. Both were incredibly nice, friendly and attentive. They took a lot of time for us. That's why the 5 stars. The rest are friendly, but unfortunately seem very reserved.

At first glance, it is an inconspicuous location that impresses with delicious food, a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. We were there with 12 people and not one could find the proverbial fly in the ointment. The Schlüters was convincing and we will certainly see you again.

The menu isn't huge, but it's super tasty 😃👍 The service is friendly and nice. Except for one step at the entrance, the store is also accessible to disabled people, and if you ask nicely you can also use the neighboring toilet on the ground floor. We were really excited. The only thing I didn't like was the general volume. But maybe it also depends a lot on the guests. You can park in front of the house, but only to a very limited extent. But if there is a side street with parking spaces, you just have to walk a bit 🤷‍♀️. Cologne, stop.

Guter Laden! Wir hatten nicht reserviert und sie waren eigentlich ausgebucht. Man hat uns trotzdem noch einen Tisch organisiert. DANKE dafür! Danach habe ich das wohl beste Kotelett meines Lebens gegessen. Beilagen waren normal. Bratkartoffeln sind halt Bratkartoffeln. Aber das Kotelett mit der Sauce war echt super! Komme gerne wieder...

Etwas zu streng bei der Platzierung.. aber es war richtig süß und lecker… Und sehr schön dekoriert.. das nächste Mal probieren wir das herzhafte..

Bis auf das Schnitzel ( 80 Prozent Panade) waren alle Gerichte sehr sehr lecker. Die Vorspeisen waren auch alle sehr lecker. Die Bedienung flott, immer ein Auge auf den Tisch bzw die Gläser geworfen.

Selten eine so leckere Portion Gans wie hier gegessen…außen kross und innen saftig, dazu eine leckere Soße mit Kartoffelklöße und Rotkohl 👍👍 auch sonst kann ich das Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln dazu ein geschmeidiger Salat …einfach topp

Meine ehrliche Meinung zu schreiben, ist fast dumm, weil dann noch mehr Menschen hier essen wollen. Es war wirklich ein absoluter Genuss. Wir hatten Milchkalbsleber und Kotelett vom Duroc-Schwein (was immer das auch ist). Beides war superlecker und perfekt gewürzt. Ich habe wirklich selten so gut gegessen. Schlüters ist sogar an einem Donnerstag so gut besucht gewesen, dass wir Glück hatten, einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu bekommen. Scheinbar wissen viele, wie lecker es hier ist :-)

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit guter Küche und tollem Personal

Helles, lichtes Restaurant, verkehrsgünstig gelegen, überschaubare, ansprechende Speisenkarte mit wöchentlich wechsenden Ergänzungen, bei solidem Preisniveau. Die Küche ohne Extravaganzien weiß mit ihren Angeboten jeweils das "gewisse Etwas" zu präsentieren, das den Gast gerne immer wieder kommen lässt. Der Service ist stets aufmerksam und immer bereit, auf Wünsche der Gäste einzugehen, z.B. bei Beilagenwechsel, der in vielen Lokalen nicht gerne gesehen wird, der ist hier absolut problematisch und in der Regel auch ohne Aufpreisberechnung. Oft sind wir nicht dort - aber gerne immer mal wieder. Es lohnt sich.

Wir kommen immer gern hier her zum Essen. Ob drinnen oder draussen, der Service ist immer klasse und nett und das Essen ist wirklich gut (ich liebe das Fish´n´Chips!). Ein gutes Restaurant bei uns in Weidenpesch!

Super leckeres Essen das einen auch Satt macht. Das Gericht und auch der Nachtisch wurden sehr schön angerichtet auf dem Teller, da gebe ich einen Extralob an die Küche aus.

Wir hatten schon Einiges gehört und waren gespannt: wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt zu 100%, die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, auf Lebensmittel Intoleranzen wurde eingegangen und sie waren generell sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, ausgewogen und von der Portionsgröße genau richtig. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein kleines aber sehr gemütliches Restaurant in Weidenpesch. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Ich hätte mir vielleicht die Bratkartoffeln ein Tick knuspriger angebraten gewünscht, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. 😅 Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

16,- Euro für eine gewöhnliche Currywurst ist schon krass. In diesem sozialen Umfeld erwartet man keine derartige Preisgestaltung.Wir unterstützen diese extrem überteuerten Preise nicht.

Ich habe am vergangenen Samstag im Schlüters gegessen und es war klasse. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise, ein Hauptgericht und einen Nachtisch und alles war einfach lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sich mehrfach erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort. Perfektes Essen. Ob Rumpsteak, Fish & Chips, Kalbsleber oder Nachtische. Alles super lecker. Der Service ist hervorragend. Großes Lob an Alle.

Gutes bodenständiges modernes Restaurant mit sehr guter und abwechslungsreicher deutscher Küche. Bedienung ist freundlich. Sehr gut gefällt mir der Order-Cube.

Essen seit vielen Jahren immer gut. Mitarbeiter meistens freundlich, Sitzpolster sollten mal erneuert werden. Seit Corona gibt's das Vorher-Brot mit Öl und Balsamiko als kostenlose Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses nicht mehr. Kostet nun ne Menge Geld. Bleibe dem SCHLÜTERS als Gast trotzdem erhalten. Ist halt schon eine nette und angenehme Gastro. 5 Monate später! Nun noch eine weitere Bewertung bezüglich Bedien-Personal: Die zeitweise merkwürdige bis unfreundliche Stimmung von eurem Markus wollen wir nicht länger als langjährige Gäste ertragen müssen. Offensichtlich ist dieses Benehmen auch bei den Kollegen nicht unbekannt. Nach ca. 13-15 Jahren als Stammgäste wechseln wir die Gastro. Freundlichkeit im Gastrogewerbe und überhaupt sollte immer gegeben sein und nicht eher dem Zufall überlassen werden. Wer das nicht lebt hat dort nichts zu suchen. Prost.

Wir gehen hier schon seit Jahren hin. Essen war bisher immer top, auch die Preise sind in Ordnung! Auf die Kellner kommt es an, mal hat man jemanden der besser ist, mal nicht. Aber ansonsten auch in Ordnung. Das Ambiente wirkt manchmal etwas altmodisch, hier gehen aber auch überwiegend ältere Menschen essen. Etwas Neues Flair, könnte das Restaurant schon vertragen. Aber wer mit dem Auto kommt, sollte genug Zeit einplanen, leider kaum Möglichkeiten bzw. zu voll.

Da ich um die Ecke wohne bin ich sehr oft dort. Und ich liebe es. Das Essen ist einfach köstlich und der Service gut.
