Great beer garden & always a good beer! The Rather Hof is absolutely worth a visit, especially in summer - the beer garden is spacious, cozy and invites you to linger. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is down-to-earth and delicious. Particularly noteworthy: the beer of the month – always well chosen and a real highlight for beer lovers. The overall package is just right here!

I can only recommend it, the food was really great, a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff who keep an eye on everything when it's full. Price-performance ratio is also right. We will definitely eat there again. Maybe it would be better to make a reservation on a Saturday.

One of the last real culinary places in Rath-Heumar. The food is great and Thomas and Jiota will be there to serve you great food. I can recommend the Rump Steak (Bleu) or the duck

We were greeted very nicely and warmly by a lady in a sweet heart blouse, we didn't have a reservation even though the shop was very full She quickly set up a really nice table in the crowded restaurant for us, even our dog was happy, we got pillows and water for the dog from her without asking, great service! The general service was very attentive, friendly and on point. The food was really tasty, not to mention the huge portions! Great selection of different beers and just great wines. The ambience is sensational, a feeling like being at home with good friends. This restaurant is now my/our favorite and we will 100% come back. Reservations are highly recommended as the store was consistently well filled. Thanks to the entire team for a wonderful evening with you, big compliments!

Feel-good atmosphere guaranteed! Reservation by phone with a very nice woman, easy for the same evening, successful. Simply friendly from start to finish - warm welcome, great table in the middle of the dining room. Great cuisine, large portions, the rest was kindly packed up to take away. The price/performance ratio was more than okay. Familial, relaxed atmosphere, our friends were also blown away by the ambience and the large selection of drinks and food. We would particularly like to highlight the entire staff: extremely friendly, attentive and with a charming pinch of humor - just the right mix for an unforgettable evening! We felt completely at home and would like to come back soon to the great, large beer garden.

As far as a good excursion restaurant, if only the corpulent would-be boss doesn't constantly trumpet this precocious, loud commanding tone in front of the guests.

We ended up here as a stopover on the way to Austria. We had not made a reservation but were still able to go. The food came super fast and was very tasty. Price quality good. Good atmosphere and was packed on a Friday evening.

Nice restaurant with an extraordinary ambience. We've been here a few times. Even today. Very bad potatoes visibly warmed up several times, pepper sauce looked more like puree, was enough for me, I don't need it anymore. Not even an oh sorry, we can Maybe make that good with a coffee or whatever and also overpriced.

They're there regularly, so far they've always been good for a beer garden. Unfortunately today it was underground. I ordered the burger with my son. It initially took an hour to finish. And then the burger is drowned in a curry sauce. Was very mushy and moderately edible. The waitress didn't mind that much when I said that.

We recently had dinner in the courtyard with a small group. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our place by a gentleman. Due to the unfortunately bad weather, we had to go in and unfortunately couldn't sit in the beer garden. In return, however, we got a nice place in the economy. And in the end we were very at peace, the atmosphere was like being in our own living room. :) The service was very friendly and was able to help us with any questions about wines of all kinds. We really liked the selection of wines on offer. The drinks came quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. The burgers were great (especially the one with the Joopie sauce, a sauce from Holland), the meat was good and the fries were nice and crispy. Just the way you want it. Everyone in our small group absolutely loved the food. We had a wonderful evening and would love to come back! We look forward to the next evening in the yard!

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit vielen Bierspezialitäten. Das junge Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Essen war wirklich vorzüglich und wurde schnell serviert. Auf kleine Wünsche wurde von Seiten der Küche sofort reagiert. Wir waren mit einem Rollstuhl da und man fand einen Platz für uns.

The two of us came at 5pm on a Thursday and it was apparently so fully booked that we were only allowed to stay until 6:30pm. So make a reservation urgently, even during the week! Sometimes you had to point out the empty drink in front of the waiters, but they were all very nice. The food was good but not great. Unfortunately, the advertised warm pide was cold flatbread. The beer garden is really exceptionally beautiful! We'd love to come back and try out the varied menu

A very romantic beer garden, very playful and fairytale-like. The range of food and drinks is wonderful, there is something for every taste. The service is unique, courteous and friendly for everyone to have fun. It invites you to linger. You may want to make a reservation on warmer days, but there is always an opportunity to linger even for unannounced visitors! Absolutely wonderful ambience!

Very nice, the food was delicious

Went to Rather Hof for the first time today and I have to say that we will be visiting here more often in the future. We actually wanted to go to the "Swallow's Nest", but the waitress there gave us anything but a friendly welcome. So we moved on to Rather Hof. That was a stroke of luck! Everything was nice, clean, polite, great brewery atmosphere and delicious food. Which came quickly, despite it being so full. Six of us had a lovely time here and would love to come back.

Our visit to Rather Hof was an extremely unpleasant experience. We were treated badly from the start, and it seemed as if it was because of our foreign origins. The reception was unfriendly and we were addressed with a condescending tone. The service was generally rude and not attentive. Our questions and concerns were ignored or only answered reluctantly. The entire atmosphere was unfriendly and we felt very unwelcome. This experience was extremely disappointing and hurtful. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend the Rather Hof to anyone.

Ohne Reservierung läuft nur Kölsch am Eingang, das ist wahr,- dafür gab es 3 Sterne. Aber wenn man dann mal reserviert hat und sich im Hause zu köstlichen Speisen eingefunden hat, ist man des Lobes voll,- Einfach nur Gutes das einen erwartet, Menschen Essen Ambiente, - alles passt- gerne öfters mehr. demnach auch gerne volle 5 Sterne

Urige Kneipe, immer voll, lecker Essen und Trinken!

Mein Mann und ich haben hier im kleinen Kreis unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Wohlbemerkt nicht exklusiv, sondern im normalen Adventstrubel. Ich muss sagen, dass es nicht schöner hätte sein können. Jutta, Chelsea sowie das gesamte Rather Hof-Team haben sich super um uns gekümmert und unseren Abend so reibungslos wie möglich gestaltet. Sowohl uns als auch unseren Gästen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Ganz lieben Dank an alle! Ich muss dazu sagen, dass wir den Rather Hof nur gewählt haben, weil wir ganz genau wussten, dass das Essen immer lecker (vor allem frisch!) und die Bedienung immer aufmerksam und zuvorkommend ist. Einfach ein Gewinn für unser Veedel!

Wir waren am Sonntag dort essen. Schöne kleine Speisekarte wo aus meiner Sicht für jeden etwas dabei ist. Super freundlicher Service und vor allem sehr aufmerksam. War rundum ein gelungener Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 👍

Wir hatten ein sehr leckeres Bier des Monats. Der Burger war solide, und der extra Teller mit Jalapeños genial, denn so konnte ich die Schärfe selbst dosieren. Die Bedienung war durchgehend freundlich und schnell. Hier komme ich gerne wieder. Einzig die Lautstärke im Raum war relativ hoch, weil man doch recht dicht sitzt.

Wir haben uns hier sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Essen war lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir werden bestimmt noch öfter hier essen gehen. Komplimente

Haben Spare Rips, Folienkartoffel inclusive Salat und Cordon Bleu gegessen. Alles sehr sehr lecker. Haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Tolles Ambiente, Toilette war sehr sauber. Nette und aufmerksame Bedienung obwohl es sehr voll war. Immer wieder gerne.

Haben uns Mittwochs zum Burger Essen dort entschieden und über AB einen Tisch im Biergarten(schön angelegt) reservieren lassen, was perfekt geklappt hat.Burger lecker, kann man empfehlen.Fritten(ganz ok) gibt es als Beilage mit Mayo+Ketchup dazu. Service sehr freundlich+aufmerksam. Bierchen wie immer lecker.

Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal, und passendes Ambiente

Schöner Innenhof, innen auch ganz hübsch, Essen hat mich allerdings nicht überzeugt. Garnelen mit trockenem Brot (13,90€), Knoblauchöl sehr süßlich - wurde hier Salz mit Zucker verwechselt?! Hat irgendwie für mich nicht gepasst. Kürbis-Dip ohne Geschmack, keine Gewürze oder ähnliches. Service war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Falls man ein Restaurant mit guter Atmosphäre, sowohl draußen als auch drinnen, mit netten Personal und leckerem essen sucht, ist man am Rather Hof genau richtig. Nun mehrfach positive Erfahrungen gemacht und bin inzwischen gerne hier. Seltenst kommt es zu Verspätungen oder kleinen Missverständnissen, aber dass sollte man im ganzen nicht so ernst sehen, da dies in der Gastronomie nunmal passiert und jeder Fehler macht. Lieber froh sein, dass da Leute arbeiten die einem das Essen möglichst schnell auf den Tisch liefern und dazu noch freundlich sind. Es macht es den Bedingungen bestimmt nur schwerer wenn man unnötige Diskussionen anfängt.

Schöner Aussenbereich, sehr leckeres Essen und sehr netter Service

Zum ersten Mal im Biergarten des Rather Hofs gewesen und definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Spontan entschieden, diese Lokalität auszuprobieren und direkt begeistert. Sehr freundlich empfangen und trotz zahlreicher Reservierungen wurden uns 2 Plätze zur Auswahl angeboten. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre im Biergarten. Service war sehr fix und sehr freundlich. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Wir hatten 2 Salate bestellt, die sehr lecker waren und es wurde mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Bier war lecker und wir haben ab sofort eine neue Anlaufstelle, wo wir gerne wiederkommen zum Rssen und Trinken. Weiter so!!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal was man auch mit dem Rad ansteuern kann. Service ist der fix und das Essen ist gut.

Super nette Bedienung, dadurch ein gelungener Abend. Gute bodenständige Küche. Auch der Chef kam vorbei und erkundigte sich nach unserem Wohlbefinden.

Immer wieder großartig. Toller Service, tolles Ambiente, einer der schönsten Locations insbesondere bei gutem Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse.

Lecker Essen zu guten Preisen. Gute Portionen gibt es auch. Hat auch andere Biere zur Abwechslung echt super. Public viewing im Sommer. Passt. Personal ist knapp und es dauert zu lange bis einer am Tisch ist. Die Bedienung (klein kräftig und geflochtene Haare) war total pampig und unfreundlich. So will ich als Gast eigentlich nicht behandelt werden.

Sehr nette Bedienung, Toller Gastraum bzw. Biergarten, Essen kam trotz vollem Lokal in sehr angemessenem Zeitraum, Essen sehr lecker und hier stimmt auch noch das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Uns sind andere Gaststätten oft zu überteuert und unfreundlich. Hier gibt es auch immer wechselnd ausgefallene Biersorten. Haben auch unser Geburtstagsessen hier gerne mit Familie genießen dürfen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Toller Biergarten. Empfang sehr herzlich aber dann ging es Servictechnisch nur Berg ab. Bitte, Danke, schmeckt es oder eine Verabschiedung Fehlanzeige. Essen wurde kalt serviert durch Systemfehler. Beschwerde Management Fehlanzeige. Keine Empfehlung von meiner Seite aus.

Schöner lauschiger Biergarten, Essen schmackhaft, aber ….. Hauptspeise kommt vor Vorspeise, Essen kann nicht warmhehalten werden (soll es ja auch nicht) und frisch gemacht war es dann auch nicht - Service meinte es sei ein Systemfehler (mit nem elektr. Orderman 🤣) und war dann ob des faux pas so peinlich berührt, dass sämtliche weiteren Freundlichkeiten (Guten Appetit, etc) ausblieben. — Schade 😔

Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert wenn man auf Brauhaus steht!

Netter Biergarten, gute Getränke, der Service in Ordnung. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, Pommes Frittes gut, Burger in Ordnung, Currywurst und Schnitzel okay. Alles in allem passt das Essen zum Lokal. Wir hatten von der Wochenkarte Kibbeling bestellt, der war unterirdisch. Wir haben den reklamiert und auch neue bekommen. Diese waren unwesentlich besser (trocken, fetttriefend, zu stark und zu heiß frittiert, unappetitlich). Das Ambiente lädt zum Biertrinken ein, Essen sollte lieber woanders verspeist werden.

Hier passte alles, danke! Trotz top Wetter kurzfristig einen der letzten Tische ergattert. Servicekräfte alle gut drauf, die gute Laune steckt an. Essen lecker, Getränke top. Macht weiter so. Reservierung empfehlenswert...

Man kann trotz der nahen Strasse sehr schön und ruhig sitzen. Bier und Essen lecker. Service freundlich und schnell. Alles in allem ein Besuch wert.

Süße Location mit gutem Essen an der Durchfahrtstrasse in Rath. Wir waren mit drei hungrigen Jungs auf der Durchreise und stießen auf dieses gemütliche Lokal, mit herrlichem Garten, gutem Essen und netter Bedienung. Sehr empfehlenswert.
