Traumkuh - Burger & Poutine in Hamburg

I love this place! The food is fantastic, the restaurant is immaculate and the staff is incredibly friendly. My absolute favorite is their vegetarian burger.

Hier speist es sich wirklich fürstlich, die Knoblauchpommes waren eine richtige Geschmacksknospenexplosion und auch der Burger war ein Gaumenschmaus. Ein Jeder der hier seine Zunge taumeln lässt, wird feststellen, dass auch die Saucen ein richtiger Schmackofatz sind. Ein köstliches Festmahl!

Incredibly good fries! Burgers extremely good too! We counted and a random chip had 12 crunchy bites! The burgers were also super good and I can recommend the special sauce!

Everything was fine. The fries were a bit too greasy, but otherwise very good. I had the lunch for about 10 euros and it was delicious. Always my pleasure.

The chili cheeseburger at Traumkuh is simply amazing. You definitely have to try it when you visit!

We ate burgers here today and are completely satisfied! The staff was super friendly and gave us excellent advice. The burgers were simply fantastic – juicy, tasty and perfectly cooked. The fries were also excellent, crispy and well seasoned. You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here, and the prices are absolutely justified. I will definitely recommend the restaurant to my friends and am already looking forward to my next visit!

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Regardless of whether it is during Ramadan or just before work, the quality remains consistently very good. Apart from the good food, the service is also very good.

Traumkuh was a very nice experience for us. Fair prices (except the sauces!), tasty homemade lemonades and burgers. Great portion size and service. We visited for an early dinner and tried the 'Crunchy Chicken' and 'M. Bison sein Vater' burgers, sweet potato fries and their homemade lemonades. The service was outstanding with a friendly and accommodating reception and honest recommendations.

Absolutely loved the restaurant. Can only be recommended.

Hello, the Undertaker has changed my life, every time I go to Hamburg it has to be filled. Service could be better, but totally okay for the price.

Ordered a chilli cheese burger and ate a really good burger. The only thing that breathed were the fries, which tasted completely like old frying oil.

The first impression was great👍 I first had the cheeseburger with fries, but that was extremely tasty. The meat was super juicy! The whole burger was just awesome. But the fries were also out of this world. They were seasoned with dill. I didn't even know that before. So all around a perfect first impression! I'm definitely in love now❤️. 5 stars from me!!! I'll definitely be back✌️

I ordered the poutine on Wolt and apart from the flavour from the dill being pretty strong (and unnecessary imo) it was great!! Will definitely order it again. I will say that price is absolutely extortionate though. I wanted to order a burger too but all burgers come with tomato/ketchup with no option for substitution which is really disappointing.

So...I've only heard good things about the dream cow and most of the reviews look good. Then the disappointment :-( - His father's bison was ok, rolls not so suitable because everything gets muddy quickly. - Cheeseburger was ok too, says my wife, but she would have liked to know what sauce was on the burger, which is not stated on any burger. - Service didn't take place at all, let alone someone asking if everything was ok or if it tasted good... - The homemade fries were a complete disaster, if you make the fries yourself, why are they completely soft, not a crispy fries and buried under the sauces so in the end a big pile of mushy.....The guacamole tasted like nothing except Pepper, no acid, no salt, nothing... The fries were seasoned with dried dill, but salt was apparently forgotten here too. The sour cream was ok. The two house lemonades were also average if anything In summary, we were very disappointed 😞

100/100 points. A really good burger shop that doesn't have a huge selection, but whose burgers pack a punch. “M. Bison his father” - an absolute cracker burger…. Big, hearty, and extremely tasty... I can only warmly recommend it. (Size resembled a large kebab) The fries are also really good. Not run-of-the-mill fries, but really good, wide, hand-made fries... Absolutely worth it. Almost a “must visit” in Hamburg. Also only 15 minutes away from the main station by bus (number 5).

Service is difficult to evaluate because you have to order, get food and take away the plates yourself at the counter, which is completely fine in the concept of the store! Otherwise cool atmosphere and most importantly, the food was great!!

I had lunch here, lunchtime. I don't know if it was on the lunch table, but the burger was really small. If anything, only slightly larger than McDonald’s. I had a chicken burger that was missing two ingredients (onion and arugula). The fries were generous but fried in old oil. At least that's how they tasted. It's a shame, I was hoping for more. You order your food at the counter and pick it up yourself. The store is cozy, the interior is nice and something different. Has an Asian flair.

Don't believe every influencer who thinks everything is delicious anyway and they pay for everything to be delicious and crazy and wow 😂😂😂 For 22€ per person a strange hamburger menu with fries and a drink is already hardcore people. Because I was hungry I ate the burger, it was ok but not the world, you can save yourself the homemade fries and use frozen fries instead 😂 P.S. The 3 stars are for the location

I come from Berlin and have actually tried almost all the burger shops that are hyped, but Traumkuh has by far the best burgers I've ever eaten. In terms of value for money, it may cost a few euros more than the other burger shops, but I think the menu is extremely filling. 🙏🏻👍🏼

I was very positively surprised! First impression: Very pleasant and modern atmosphere. But the most important thing: The burgers as well as the garlic fries with samurai sauce were absolute perfection. I haven't been so impressed with a burger in a long time! Price/performance is phenomenal. After my second visit I have to admit: It is the best burger place in Hamburg

The burgers taste amazing. We order from Traumkuh often and always get the same burgers (Bison his father & Khanzir substitute) because we fall in love with them all over again. To me the burgers taste like the HIMYM episode with the perfect burger. The fries, on the other hand, are a matter of taste and not for me.

It was a queasy feeling walking into an almost empty restaurant during the day, but the burgers were delicious and fresh. However, I wouldn't recommend the chicken burger because it falls apart quite a bit when eaten due to the design

Overall it's okay. Crispy chicken was 2/5 and the regular burger was 4/5. Beef patty was properly “smashed”, but unfortunately a little too long on a grill that wasn’t really hot. For people who still eat burgers with their hands (like me), the buns fall apart a little too quickly. Sweet potato fries are very tasty. Homemade fries aren't that good, but at least you feel like they're homemade. Price ~ 42 euros.

The service was disastrous and ignorant. While the burgers were good, it's not clear that the garlic fries are sweet potato fries with garlic powder sprinkled on top. In addition, you could only pay in cash and not with a card, which should be a given these days in a big city like Hamburg.

I recently visited your restaurant and overall I was very disappointed. Although the burgers were of good quality, the prices were exorbitant. I found it particularly annoying that the prices on your website were significantly lower than the actual costs in the restaurant. This is misleading and unacceptable. For a restaurant in this price range, I expect not only excellent food, but also transparency and honesty. I hope you update your online prices as soon as possible and offer future guests accurate and fair value for money.
