Traumkuh - Burger & Poutine in Hamburg

I brought my children here and the team was incredibly patient and helpful. They made sure my children were happy and ensured our entire dining outing was relaxed and enjoyable.

There was a problem with my order, but the team took care of it quickly and with great professionalism. They kindly resolved the matter so I could get back to enjoying my meal in no time.

I ordered through Wolt and had a 25-30mm long screw in my food. Unfortunately Google won't let me post a picture of it. Something like that doesn't work.

Note in advance: The visit was a long time ago, but it was still on my list of outstanding reviews. The visit went well back then, but I thought the slight hype surrounding the restaurant was not justified. The burgers were ok, but not special, the fries were a bit limp. It's also a shame if you don't get served at the table in a restaurant - especially if you also look up restaurant prices. And: at least a few months ago there was no card payment!

The burgers are great, the location is nice and the employees are nice. Only the chairs are not that comfortable but you can overlook that

Simply the number 1 burger joint! Traumkuh takes the taste of burgers, fries and sauces to a whole other level. The meat quality and creativity are what make the difference. I recently went back to one of the supposedly best places to have a burger and fries, but in terms of quality and taste it doesn't come anywhere close to Traumkuh. It's just not worth eating anywhere else. Thanks! Keep it up!

The atmosphere is very cool and the location is very cheap, as there are dozens of restaurants on Grindelallee or further down Hoheluftchaussee. The staff was friendly, the fries were plentiful and very tasty and the “M. Bison his father” the best burger I have ever eaten.

Food was so-so, man at the checkout was rude and there was vomit in the ladies' room.

The meat is of the highest quality. Tasteful, a really good burger. Store looks clean and hygienic. The staff is friendly, prices are okay. Overall a good price-performance ratio.

The first impression was great👍 I first had the cheeseburger with fries, but that was extremely tasty. The meat was super juicy! The whole burger was just awesome. But the fries were also out of this world. They were seasoned with dill. I didn't even know that before. So all around a perfect first impression! I'm definitely in love now❤️. 5 stars from me!!! The shop is ok, the burgers are good, but way too expensive. Maybe I'm not used to Hamburg prices.

The restaurant is really stylishly decorated, the food tastes great and I always enjoy going there. Price is a bit high, but it's definitely worth it.

I was in this store for the second time today and I absolutely love it! The lunch specials and the food are simply amazing – the taste is truly exceptional. So good that I won't forget it! Despite the distance, I will try to come here regularly. Totally recommended for anyone who is hungry - and even for those who aren't hungry, because once you're here you'll definitely work up an appetite. In addition, the nice staff make a different impression.

Incredibly good fries! Burgers extremely good too! We counted and a random chip had 12 crunchy bites! The burgers were also super good and I can recommend the special sauce!

Hier speist es sich wirklich fürstlich, die Knoblauchpommes waren eine richtige Geschmacksknospenexplosion und auch der Burger war ein Gaumenschmaus. Ein Jeder der hier seine Zunge taumeln lässt, wird feststellen, dass auch die Saucen ein richtiger Schmackofatz sind. Ein köstliches Festmahl!

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Regardless of whether it is during Ramadan or just before work, the quality remains consistently very good. Apart from the good food, the service is also very good.

Traumkuh was a very nice experience for us. Fair prices (except the sauces!), tasty homemade lemonades and burgers. Great portion size and service. We visited for an early dinner and tried the 'Crunchy Chicken' and 'M. Bison sein Vater' burgers, sweet potato fries and their homemade lemonades. The service was outstanding with a friendly and accommodating reception and honest recommendations.

I ordered the poutine on Wolt and apart from the flavour from the dill being pretty strong (and unnecessary imo) it was great!! Will definitely order it again. I will say that price is absolutely extortionate though. I wanted to order a burger too but all burgers come with tomato/ketchup with no option for substitution which is really disappointing.

So...I've only heard good things about the dream cow and most of the reviews look good. Then the disappointment :-( - His father's bison was ok, rolls not so suitable because everything gets muddy quickly. - Cheeseburger was ok too, says my wife, but she would have liked to know what sauce was on the burger, which is not stated on any burger. - Service didn't take place at all, let alone someone asking if everything was ok or if it tasted good... - The homemade fries were a complete disaster, if you make the fries yourself, why are they completely soft, not a crispy fries and buried under the sauces so in the end a big pile of mushy.....The guacamole tasted like nothing except Pepper, no acid, no salt, nothing... The fries were seasoned with dried dill, but salt was apparently forgotten here too. The sour cream was ok. The two house lemonades were also average if anything In summary, we were very disappointed 😞

100/100 points. A really good burger shop that doesn't have a huge selection, but whose burgers pack a punch. “M. Bison his father” - an absolute cracker burger…. Big, hearty, and extremely tasty... I can only warmly recommend it. (Size resembled a large kebab) The fries are also really good. Not run-of-the-mill fries, but really good, wide, hand-made fries... Absolutely worth it. Almost a “must visit” in Hamburg. Also only 15 minutes away from the main station by bus (number 5).

Service is difficult to evaluate because you have to order, get food and take away the plates yourself at the counter, which is completely fine in the concept of the store! Otherwise cool atmosphere and most importantly, the food was great!!

I had lunch here, lunchtime. I don't know if it was on the lunch table, but the burger was really small. If anything, only slightly larger than McDonald’s. I had a chicken burger that was missing two ingredients (onion and arugula). The fries were generous but fried in old oil. At least that's how they tasted. It's a shame, I was hoping for more. You order your food at the counter and pick it up yourself. The store is cozy, the interior is nice and something different. Has an Asian flair.

Don't believe every influencer who thinks everything is delicious anyway and they pay for everything to be delicious and crazy and wow 😂😂😂 For 22€ per person a strange hamburger menu with fries and a drink is already hardcore people. Because I was hungry I ate the burger, it was ok but not the world, you can save yourself the homemade fries and use frozen fries instead 😂 P.S. The 3 stars are for the location

I come from Berlin and have actually tried almost all the burger shops that are hyped, but Traumkuh has by far the best burgers I've ever eaten. In terms of value for money, it may cost a few euros more than the other burger shops, but I think the menu is extremely filling. 🙏🏻👍🏼

I was very positively surprised! First impression: Very pleasant and modern atmosphere. But the most important thing: The burgers as well as the garlic fries with samurai sauce were absolute perfection. I haven't been so impressed with a burger in a long time! Price/performance is phenomenal. After my second visit I have to admit: It is the best burger place in Hamburg
