It was my first time at Peter Pane and I was absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The burgers were delicious, and there were so many different varieties – three different burger buns alone! The passion fruit and melon lemonade was also fantastic. I really appreciated that the drinks were generously sized (0.5l). Each table also had salt and pepper and four different sauces. Even though it was quite busy, the service was surprisingly quick. I'm absolutely delighted and would definitely eat there again.

Worse service you have to look for a long time, upon arrival we are greeted by the employee F€€rian, we ask if we can order takeaway, it is no problem, we ask how long it takes, he answers "5 - 7 minutes" this of course sounds great. When 25 minutes have passed we ask for the food, F€€rian is obviously surprised, we then wait 10 more minutes. then F€€rian comes with the food (which was cold by the way) without so much as an apology. I ask him is that it, the answer was the kitchen had forgotten it.. He offers no form of compensation but at least an apology. we say we do not want the food as it is now cold... This upsets F€€rian. so all in all VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE

We wanted to try the lunch menu and were then charged €58.00 for two people. Never again Peter Pan. Be careful when ordering! It's a rip-off!

I went to Peter Pane with friends, and it was an all-around great evening. The burgers were delicious, freshly prepared, and perfectly paired. The atmosphere is modern and cozy—ideal for sitting together with friends and enjoying the evening. The service was very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The two of us were here in the early evening and each had a burger with fries and a drink. The burger was delicious and the portion was large enough to fill us up, but it was still missing that certain something for a 5-star rating (for the burger). We really liked the ambiance and especially appreciated that the music wasn't too loud, so we could have a pleasant conversation. Unfortunately, that's not the case everywhere. And the service was excellent. Very friendly, gave us helpful advice, and came to our table a few times to check if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. Overall, a definite recommendation.

Long waits at the entrance and after ordering. We waited about an hour outside the shop and after ordering, and it took a while for the food to arrive. Very expensive for a Saturday, a sad burger, and the bread could have been more grainy. €15.90 for one, €12.90 for the other.

We had an amazing experience couple of days ago. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of cozy and classy. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing especially Musti.. I was very pleased to find someone who speaks my language. We have ordered mix of vegetarian and burgers, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Overall, this place is a gem. Highly recommended. See you again guys.

The restaurant is beautifully situated right on the Elbe River – the location alone makes the visit special. Everything inside is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. The service was super friendly and attentive. What was particularly great was that they even pointed us to a special offer we wouldn't have seen ourselves, saving us money. The staff were generally very attentive and friendly. Our food arrived quickly, was exactly as ordered, and tasted absolutely delicious – all in all, simply perfect! We'd love to come back. 💛

It's Peter Peter Pane, hence there's a decent Burger. Not homemade, but still good. The service is solid and but when a larger group showed up, they seemed a little overwhelmed. They had a good "Helles" as beer option and sitting outside (under a roof) with a view in the canal ("Fleet") is very (If the weather is warm enough).

Unfortunately, the blonde waitress was unfriendly, and she reacted very rudely to our question about our order. This was disappointing, as we would have preferred friendlier service.

The food was great and the waiter was amazing. We called and asked if we could come 30 minutes earlier as we had specifically written in our Google reservation that we would like a seat by the Alster. We were told that they couldn't guarantee this as the seats weren't available. So we didn't come earlier, hoping to get the seat by the Alster as we had requested, as we had reserved weeks in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant, we weren't taken to the Alster seat as we had reserved, but to a normal table as the staff had said the seats wouldn't be available today. Less than 5 minutes later the doors to the Alster were opened and the tables were ready. It's a disgrace, why can you make a note in the reservation if it's not going to be read anyway! We hope that the note works for our next reservation, otherwise we won't be going there again!

Burger is so plaint , this restaurant chain thinks salt and pepper on the meat patty is optional that you need to add by hourly after the Burger is served ( already not warm enough ) . Won’t go again , definitely not a real burger

Reading the other reviews, my colleague and I were just unlucky yesterday late afternoon?! The food was okay, as always at "Peter Pane" (they're just burgers, but still tasty, and the fries are hot and crispy, which isn't always the case). Now, the service: We had to wait forever until a young guy, bored and listless, showed us a seat. Then we waited another 20 minutes, ignoring hand signals, until my colleague got up and got a server to place our order. We waited about 40 minutes for the food, even though it wasn't that busy. They didn't even ask if everything was okay. For dessert, my colleague got up again to get someone to take our order... I wanted to get the sweet berry sauce in a separate bowl for the frozen yogurt, as the stuff is often too sweet for me - it wasn't possible. Nobody came to pay either, so we went to the front. The icing on the cake was that my colleague couldn't use her voucher, which still had several euros on it, because the card payment process was supposedly "too advanced"... huh? (By the way: There was no toilet paper left in the women's restrooms - maybe the operators should check more often during the day and restock if necessary.) Conclusion: Due to the great location (we sat outside, but it looked very nice inside too) - you feel like you're sitting somewhere in the South - we will definitely give this "Peter Pane" another try. Otherwise, due to the poor service we experienced, it's not recommended at all (but as I said, maybe we were just unlucky yesterday).

How can you give 5-star reviews? Everything goes wrong. Bad burgers, even worse service because they were overwhelmed. Seating instructions weren't properly coordinated. Simply too expensive for what was offered. And mind you, there were only four of us at one table. Last but not least, the drinks were charged incorrectly. Next time, we'll go for fish for €150.00.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. Expect well seasoned and tasty burgers. The place is right next to one of the many canals in ghe City. Get a place at the windows for a great view or sit outside in the summer.

Friendly service. "Peter's Pause" offers excellent value for money. Large 🍔 where you can also get your fill, unlike McDonald's or other burger chains.

The fries were completely cold upon receipt and the salad was completely black around the edges and clearly not fresh, the steak was completely dry.

I've visited many Peter Pane restaurants. The location in Hamburg-Bleichenhof is definitely one of my favorites. I really like the location and the ambiance alone. The service is friendly and has always been welcoming. If I'm ever in Hamburg again soon, I'll definitely be back.

The location is great; you can sit right by the water, and it's modern and beautifully decorated. Service was excellent, and the waitress was very friendly! Our order was quick and completely correct. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The fries were good, but the burger, which you come specifically for, was tasteless and strongly reminiscent of a McDonald's burger (everyone can decide for themselves whether they like that or not). It's a shame; we expected something different. We wouldn't come back.

My family and I went for dinner at Peter Pane a couple of weeks ago while visiting Hamburg. We are from Canada and speak very little German, but we had an amazing waitress named Emma. She was very welcoming, spoke amazing English, and was very easy to communicate with. The food was amazing, and the restaurant has an amazing location. Thanks to Emma & staff for the great experience. I would definitely recommend!

You immediately notice that a lot of emphasis is placed on a coherent concept. Even compared to the competition, Peter Pan definitely stands out – both in terms of cuisine and ambiance. For anyone in Hamburg who's craving high-quality burgers in a cool atmosphere: A must-go!

The burgers were delicious, the ambiance on the Alster Canal is lovely, and the service is top-notch. Everyone is friendly and courteous. It's not very busy here on a Saturday lunchtime, which is a pleasant experience.

Perfect for kids - really good burger and you can put it together however you want - there are high chairs for kids and something to draw in and out of. In the toilet they tell the story of Peter Pan (but in German :) )

You can now order with your phone, which makes the whole process feel a bit like online shopping, but tastier! Service was friendly, food arrived fast and everything was just as it should be. Only downside is the acoustics. We basically had to scream at each other like we were at a rock concert.

Actually, everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the ambiance great. The service was actually good too. Except for one thing. I ordered a smash burger with a multigrain bun, and that was exactly how it was received. When the burger arrived, it came with a potato bun. I pointed out the mistake. The answer was: smash burgers only come with a bun. Even if it's not customary, I would have liked to be treated as a guest here and at least asked if an exception could be made. In our case, no one even bothered to discuss it. It's a shame; it somewhat overshadowed an otherwise good visit.
