Shiso Burger Hamburg in Hamburg

Wir waren mehrmals bei Shiso und grundsätzlich zufrieden vor allem mit den Produkten, bis wir bei 2 online Bestellungen Probleme erhielten. Einmal wurde unsererseits alles bezahlt aber nur ein Teil geliefert und lauwarm, das zweite Mal kam eine Bestellung über chf 98 gar nicht an. Wir kontaktierten den Lieferdienst, der sagte uns wir sollen uns an Shiso wenden. Shiso konnte und wollte nichts unternehmen und haben auch nicht nachgeliefert, obwohl wir innerhalb einiger Monate für über tausend Franken dort assen insgesamt. Ich kann allen nur von Shiso abraten, vor allem vor online Bestellungen. Aber auch als wir persönlich vorbeigingen glaubte man uns zwar,aber gab trotzdem keinen Nachlass bei einer Neubestellung oder einen Gutschein, einfach nichts. Daher wollen wir nun nichts mehr mit Shiso zu tun haben. Sehr schlechter Service, kein Entgegenkommen bei Problemen.

Service was super nice and attentive. 🙏Atmosphere and toilets are ok. Nothing special. 🤷‍♂️ Now for the food: We had the cheeseburger and the chili lemon burger in large + kimchi and coleslaw. Kimchi was tasty, coleslaw was ok. The burgers were both very weak in taste, no spices or roasted aromas were tasted. We were very disappointed. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day. All in one: A store with normal, too small, bourgeois stores that are far too expensive and far from living up to the hype. Very unfortunate. We were hoping for a lot more, especially because of all the recessions and YT videos.

The combination of Asian flavors and classic burgers is fantastic. I tried the bulgogi burger – very tasty and perfectly seasoned. The staff was friendly and helpful. Another highlight: the sweet potato fries! I'd love to come back!

Of course, we also have to try these hyped burgers. The burgers are delicious, the bun is special here. They have a different consistency than normal burger buns. The service was a bit overwhelmed during our visit. We would definitely have ordered something more, but no one came. Ambiance kept very simple…a bit uncomfortable. I don't think you should stay too long. I think we'll come back again when we're nearby.

The burgers are delicious and although it says chili in the description, it’s actually not. I did not really like the fries. They were soaked in oil, but I totally recommend the burger.

We chose Toad Burger, sweet potato fries, fries and edamame. Delicious! We found the sweet potato fries better than the normal ones. The burger was something different, but very tasty. :) The staff was super nice and friendly!

Unfortunately, Google reviews and reality are different. The burgers weren't that tasty because the meat was a bit tough and we said twice what drinks we wanted, in the end they brought us others😅 The tables are very close together and there isn't much space inside. We won't go there anymore.

Food was delicious. But there could be one or two more unusual things. A bit drafty near the window. If we had easily had a dessert, the service would have shown up or at least thrown it in our direction. But for a 'snack' it's okay.

Wow, cool! Extremely delicious burger! Pink in the middle, fresh meat. Very well grilled, fresh lettuce, tomato. Super fast serving: I said "I know what I want" and ordered at the counter and had the burger 5 minutes later. Fries relatively greasy - but very tasty. Relatively “expensive” but also worth it.

The Bulgogi Burger was mega, so tasty and a completely different combination. Recommendation. Cheeseburger was ok, but I wouldn't order it again. I didn't like the fries, but my friend did, so it's a matter of taste. They didn't have enough taste for me. Visually but very tasty. Prices for drinks high. Lemonades very tasty.

We ordered takeaway here and when we got home, the burgers were still super tasty! We have the Bulgogi Burger, Shiso Burger and the Ebi Burger, all super tasty.😋 Our favorite was the Bulgogi Burger, a bit salty in our opinion but super tasty. I would come back!

Bereits auf die Getränke haben wir verhältnismässig lange gewartet. Von den 3 bestellten Burgern wurde dann einer halb kalt und einer komplett kalt serviert. Als ich dies anmerkte, war die Reaktion nur ein kurzes "tut mir leid". Das halte ich - zumal bei den recht üppigen Preisen im Imbissbudenambiente - keinesfalls für eine angemessene Reaktion. Insgesamt enttäuschend.

The food was great, I had the salmon burger, the sweet potato fries and the shiso lemonade. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever eaten because they weren't chopped into small pieces and weren't fried to death. The burger was also fantastic. Unfortunately, after I was shown my place, I was forgotten for a good 20 minutes without a map etc.

But compared to other burger shops, it was tasty with mini portions and the same prices. The service is hectic, you feel unwelcome, like you're on an assembly line. The waitress was in a great hurry when she accepted, the man. The waiter clears away the food while you're still nibbling the fries. But when you've finished drinking and you want to pay, he'll have a chat.

Disappointed with this place which nevertheless has good reviews... The tables (two) are very close which means that you eat almost on the neighbor's table... Drinks, you drink them from the bottle. After a Kimchi which was not bad but nothing more, the homemade fries (very greasy) arrived after the burger even though the two should have been served together and the waitress advises you, to wait, to drink a little... To 27 eur, there is a way to find better. !

Great combination of Asian and burger cuisine. As always, the food was great, but I noticed that it needed to be cleaned again, everything in the store was very dusty.

Absolutely fantastic burgers! The food is incredibly delicious. Super delicious sweet potato fries and perfect homemade lemonade. Very friendly service. Shiso Burger is centrally located and can be reached quickly on foot from the main station or Mönckebergstrasse. It can be a bit busier on the weekend, sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes (if you don't have a reservation) but that's absolutely not a problem. I always enjoy coming here!

I would really recommend this place that I found by accident on my way. The food taste so good with different type of spices and sauces that taste completely different than usual. It’s so simple, so good that I would definitely come back again to try more burgers 😊 The service also is so good with such a friendly and cosy atmosphere!

salty. It's very salty. It's not as tasty as McDonald's in the Netherlands, but the original Hamburg hamburger is not as tasty... If I had thought it was a Japanese style store, I would have gone somewhere else. The staff is friendly.

Yesterday the four of us were there 1 hour before closing time and ordered quickly. When our food came, the waitress informed us that she would like to settle the bill directly as they were closing soon - which was basically no problem for us. However, the waitress came to our table several times during our meal to clear the burger baskets and emphasized several times that they wanted to close on time. We finished eating 20 minutes before closing time. We would have preferred if we had been informed from the start about the impending closure and that they no longer wish to serve new guests. Then we might have chosen another place to enjoy a more relaxed meal and go home without stomach aches and discomfort. Burgers were otherwise very tasty, but unfortunately fries were very soft.

We come from Munich - and when we are in Hamburg, there has to be Shiso Burger! Definitely try it!!! And the ladies in service deserve an extra star - thank you very much for the great service and attention!

The Bulgogi Burger tastes good, but I ordered a "large" burger and what I got didn't look like it. Service has room for improvement, especially being informed about the dishes and drinks on the menu in case guests need assistance.

Delicious burgers. If you happen to be there, stop by, friendly staff. The bread is nice, the portions are a little small but delicious.

We went there for lunch for the first time! The burgers were incredibly tasty. So good that we went there a second time despite only staying in Hamburg for 3 days. 🙈😅 We'll definitely come by again when we're back in Hamburg!

Normal and quite small burgers, the place is nice and quiet inside, we really liked it. We ordered a prawn burger and a beef burger, both were good, nothing remarkable but correct. The potatoes were also delicious, the only thing we told him was that we only wanted mayo and he brought us a mixture of mayo and ketchup. Also, I don't know if it is something typical in Germany, but we were surprised that they did not offer us a drink at any time, normally before taking our food, we are used to ordering a drink but it was not the case in this place. They are good but we think they are missing something to highlight.

Excellent burgers. I tried the Bulgogi burger and it was delicious. Asian fusion is successful. The fries are also very good. I recommend at least one side if you are very hungry and have a burger, the portions are moderate. Mention the pineapple-mint milkshake which is also delicious. Friendly service and the waiters communicate well in English.

I love the Ebi Buger. I was visiting Hamburg 5 years ago and was there on the recommendation of a friend. I remembered the burger so much that I had to go again on my next visit. And I wasn't disappointed. The patty made from whole shrimp and the perfect combination for me with the spicy mayo and the airy bun are simply fantastic. The staff is super friendly and the food came very quickly from the partially visible kitchen. The furnishings are simple, but I personally really like the simple style with Asian elements. Will come again on my next visit.

Absolutely awesome burger! Really good mix between Asian and burgers. The entire burger is of really high quality and the bun especially stands out. It's steamed and tastes incredible. I had the cheeseburger and the one with strips of beef; both highly recommended. The shop is absolutely great and one of the best burger shops in Hamburg! The prices and the waiting time are also great. 10€ for a burger is really fair. Service was nice, everything was great!

The restaurant is small but the location is convenient. Tried the business lunch combo, with a prawn hamburger as the lovely waitress recommended. That was delicious! You can taste the firm and tender prawn inside, sehr gut! The price was reasonable. Someone did mention the size wasn’t big, but it’s enough for me. :)

Waren eben zum Essen da. Positiv ist aufgefallen, dass die absolut liebenswerte Kellnerin sofort gemerkt hat, dass wir außen sitzen wollten. Den Tisch bekamen wir auch & ich meine Weinschorle, obwohl es eine Sonderbestellung war. Wir alle bestellten verschiedene Burger. Meine Tochter mit vielen Sonderwünschen und auch diese wurden perfekt umgesetzt. Zudem wurde auch während dem Essen gefragt ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist. Sehr aufmerksam! Tochter äußerte sich mit den Worten „Einer der besten Burger den sie bist jetzt hatte“ Sehr zu empfehlen. Top Kellnerin & hat sich somit ihren TIP auch verdient.

Super tasty burgers, very friendly service.

The burgers and fries are really tasty, there's no other way to say it. But unfortunately ridiculously small for sporty prices. The drinks prices (except for wheat beer) are also too high. Because of the good service and the nice atmosphere there are still 4 stars.

The food tastes great and the employees are nice. I ate food there and also bought it to take away. The veggie burger with eggplant is simply delicious.

Ich war neulich alleine in der Innenstadt unterwegs, und wollte mir was gönnen. Ich war mal vor einem Jahr bei Shiso Burger gewesen, und hatte das Erlebnis positiv in Erinnerung. Dieses Mal, war das Erlebnis alles andere als positiv, und ich denke nicht, dass ich den Laden nochmals besuchen werde. Mein Erlebnis: ich kam rein und wurde an einem nicht ganz sauberen Tisch hingesetzt. Das war aber nicht weiter schlimm. Schließlich ist der Laden tagsüber (ich war gegen 15.30 Uhr da) sehr gut besucht, und es muss ja alles schnell gehen. Allerdings war die unfreundliche Kellnerin sehr angeschlagen, und war andauernd am husten, und zwar in die Hände, wobei sie im Nachhinein zur keiner Zeit ihre Hände desinfizierte oder desgleichen. Im Gegenteil; ich musste mehrmals beobachten, wie sie mit ihren Händen an ihrer laufenden Nase fasste, und außerdem den Schweiß im Gesicht abwischte. Als ich noch sah, dass sie mein Essen (leicht) anfasste, bevor ich es bekam, verging mir so gut wie jeglicher Appetit. Eklig. Das Essen: die Fries waren weich und sehr schlabbrig, und einfach ungenießbar. Der kleine Burger mit dem Portobello Pilz als Patty war ok. Mehr nicht. Im großen und ganzen habe ich nicht viel vom Burger gegessen, weil mir sowieso nicht mehr danach war. Alles in allem ein sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis.

The experience in this restaurant was very good. We went with some friends when we were leaving for the train station. The burgers were very delicious. Also the French fries appetizers we ordered were very delicious. Because we were in a hurry we ate outside. But the atmosphere inside the restaurant looked very cool. I highly recommend it. The drink selection was very pleasant. A good point to go eat and talk with friends.

An ordinary cafe, in my opinion not very cozy, I followed the reviews when choosing the establishment, the reviews turned out to be overestimated, the burgers are small, not bad, but I wouldn’t go for them specifically, the staff is polite, in general the establishment is normal, but nothing more

It was request for me to elaborate more on my review so lets go: - It was too warm in the restaurant, we were sweating - We had to wait a very long time to get someone to come to us, because they are clearly understaffed - They forgot our Apfelschorle, we had to eat the burgers with dry throat, in a very warm place, it was mostly unpleasant - The burgers tasted OK but they are too small for their price. I ordered the one with double meat, even then, I was still hungry afterwards (and I really dont eat much). - We realized no one would never come to the table for us to pay, so we had to go to the cashier - They only had one card device, and I had to wait for it for more than 5 minutes standing close to the cashier. After I realized we would never be able to pay by card, I chose to pay with cash. Then they told me they also didnt have exchange (for 50€ paying a 33€ meal). So I had to wait even more for the card machine. - We wanted to pay getrennt, we had to pay zusammen The only good point was that people were nett with us during the whole time. But because of the many flaws I have to give 1 star.

The Bulgogi Burger was incredibly tasty! The homemade fries are also highly recommended! The homemade drinks also taste super refreshing :)

The Shiso Burger is located in the middle of the city center, in the immediate vicinity of Mönckebergstrasse, but still somewhat hidden. I discovered the store by chance as I had parked nearby and was very hungry on the way back from shopping. Even though I was in a hurry, I decided to order the cheeseburger without any sides. The waitress was extremely friendly and the burger was prepared very quickly. The bread was incredibly soft and delicious, and the sauce had a spicy touch that set the burger apart from all the other cheeseburgers I've tried so far. The taste was a real treat and definitely unique. I'm looking forward to coming back when I have more time and trying out more burgers and sides. The first visit definitely made me curious for more!

A small but fine selection, service is friendly, the interior looks cool. The food is good to at least ok. But garde the drinks very expensive. For a drink, a burger and a small side dish around 27 euros is a bit steep. Plus, as I said, it's tasty but you won't feel full. I can recommend it to try once. But not often.

If the coke was served cold, I would have given 5 stars. A rather paltry effort to fill the fridge with hot bottles and then serve them to the guests. The food was great!

Delicious Japanese burger variations that have never been seen before.

Absolutely overrated. Burger was okay, but not a highlight. The sauces in particular lacked taste. The fries were okay and we didn't like the coleslaw at all. Service also seemed rather unmotivated. All in all, there are much better alternatives in the city center in a comparable price range.

Everything was delicious and of very good quality, but the burgers are very small, I needed a side dish to fill me up and had dessert some place else later on. The drinks and kimchi arrived way after the burgers for some reason. The pic shows the portions for reference, and I’m a small person btw

Very yummy! I had the Shiso burger. The burgers are smaller than the standard size, but as a woman i didn’t actually mind that. Perfect for me. I am deducing one star as not all burgers are included in the lunch deal for 12 quid, and I therefore had to pay 16.

A super delicious burger (bulgogi) that is finally something different and special. I agree with others that the burgers could be a little bigger, but that doesn't detract from the taste. Unfortunately, the food has become really expensive everywhere, but I'd rather spend my money on something really, really tasty than make compromises. We'll definitely go back for the bulgogi burger. Simply a hit!

A great place to meet up a little ways off the main drag. They have lots of options to choose from, the service was fast, and the food was flavorful. Stop by if you can.

At Shisho Burger you can expect really cool burgers at more than fair prices. My friend and I can especially recommend the salmon burger and the version with the typical Asian beef. We only found the drinks to be pretty poor and not very authentic. Clear recommendation

I had never had a burger like this before and it was really great. I will definitely stop by again on my next visit to Hamburg.

Modern burger restaurant on Mönckebergstrasse. Shiso Burger is an international chain that now also operates a branch in Hamburg. I would recommend reserving in advance. Otherwise you may have to wait longer for a table. The menu features modern burgers and matching sides. The prices are slightly higher. My veggie burger was delicious, the fries were even better. The team seemed a little stressed to me. Overall, I can recommend a visit.

Ich habe To Go bestellt und bei meiner Bestellung wurden die Pommes vergessen, musste natürlich trotzdem den vollen Preis zahlen. Der Burger war ganz gut, aber viel zu klein und dafür dann echt zu teuer.
