Very tasty burgers and fries. Menu prices are really reasonable for the amount of food. The service was great, and we had a great chat with Nick. We'd love to come back, and not wait another 7 years. 😅

Actually, it all started out quite normally. Even though we repeated three times when ordering that we didn't specifically want bacon, we still got a chicken burger with bacon. It wasn't a crowded hour either. You have to be mindful of people's sensitivities. A burger with bacon, as they joke, means the company has failed in the service sector. Just because a company is very famous doesn't mean it's very good. Sad.

The place was recommended to me by friends. Four of us went there. The friendly server sat down at our table and took our order. I had the BBQ burger with fries and a Coke. The taste was a bit bland and nothing special. There are burger restaurants that are much better. We paid a total of 100 euros. That's too much for boring fast food.

Really good burgers. You should definitely try the cheeseburger. Two of us ate three burgers, and we were almost out of breath, but it was worth it. :)

Yes, I know, we're really late to the party - but Dulf's Burger was still on our "I want to go there" list and it was SO WORTH IT! WOW! We wanted to go somewhere delicious to eat at 10 p.m. and Dulf's was perfect for us - it was still pretty full, so we didn't have to be embarrassed to order something else. Super friendly service, very tasty lemonade and an absolutely amazing meal!! I'll be dreaming about the mac and cheese side dish and we will definitely be back. It was really delicious! &&& the food came really quickly too - great value for money!

I tried the 150g Lemon Chicken Burger. It tasted okay, but it didn't taste like lemon, and the chicken was quite thin. The 450g burger tasted like nothing but meat. Unfortunately, the fat was the dominant feature. Overall, it was okay, but it didn't blow me away. Maybe I'll try a different burger next time, but so far, it hasn't really convinced me.

Amazing food at a good price. The burgers were amazing and the sides super nice and crispy. I also had a homemade lemonade and i liked it a lot. Definite recommendation.

The burger and freakshake were really delicious, but the fries could have been a bit more over-fried (i.e., crispier). The freakshake is as sweet as it looks—I've been wanting to try it for years, and I wasn't disappointed. The service was poor, however, once. Our server only came after a very long wait. When we wanted to pay, he had apparently been moved to the bar and, when we asked to pay, simply replied, "I'm no longer in charge, I'm at the bar now." He didn't tell the colleague who was in charge, nothing at all. And there wasn't really much to do at the bar; he spent enough time fiddling around on his phone.

Dulf’s Burger is definitely a strong candidate for the best burger in Hamburg 🍔🔥. There’s not much to say — you simply have to try it yourself. The juicy patty with melted cheese on top takes the burger to another level 🤤🧀. The seasoning is perfectly balanced, and the patty keeps its juiciness in an amazing way. The buns are fresh and nice, but to make this burger a full 10/10, I’d wish for bread baked with the right sourdough — that would take the taste experience even higher 🌟. I also tried the Mac & Cheese, but unfortunately it wasn’t that impressive. Still, my focus was the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the BBQ burger 🍖, and the portion size was more than enough. If you’re not super hungry, you can even share or go for fewer patties (my friend had the 3–4 patty option). We had to wait a little bit, but that’s only because the place is so popular and busy. One small minus: it would have been nice to have paper towels in the restroom 🧻🚻. Overall, this place is currently my favorite burger spot in Hamburg, and I highly recommend trying it 🙌.

I'm actually really disappointed. Years ago, I ate at your place and ordered a really awesome burger without bread, which looked and tasted amazing. Now that I'm vegetarian, I returned after a long time and was truly disappointed. The Beyond Patty was cooked on the same plate as the meat, which made it taste like real meat. Then I thought I was going to fall off my chair when the Blue Cheese Burger was served to me without any love (ordered without bread). The burger had barely any sauce, not much blue cheese, just a disaster. The fries weren't salted properly, and the truffle mayonnaise was also really disappointing. Oh yeah, the highlight was – I ordered still water and got water from the tap into a carafe. Simply wow! Conclusion: I used to think you were great, but unfortunately, not anymore. A picture without bread from a few years ago compared to the current one – abysmal! The price-performance ratio is completely out of whack.

The wait is worth it. We've been there several times and have been impressed every time. There's a nice selection of burgers and sides. The only drawback is that you can't make reservations.

It was delicious, but I got sick of it after eating it... And it's like they're racist, why do they keep telling me to sit in the corner when there are empty seats? Ugh, it's just like that.

I had the BBQ Hamburger along with the Dulf's De Javu cocktail, and both were absolutely fantastic! The burger was juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced with that smoky BBQ taste. Hello. Came based on reviews. There was no wow effect as in the comments. The service is as if they are doing you a favor. I don’t understand why there is such a hype and a queue. It is cramped inside. There is no network coverage and the establishment has no Internet. The prices are high, but you feel like you are in a diner. The hamburger is delicious, but I think the price is too high. For 150 grams 18-22 euros minimum, 300 grams 28 euros and up. They said they didn’t have the burger I wanted, but then it somehow appeared at another table. They brought the hamburger cold. They don’t bring gloves or a wet napkin, which is very strange for me. Fries cost 6 euros and the sauce must be ordered separately for 3 euros. A solid 3!!

This is our 2nd and 3rd visit. On our 2nd visit, the restaurant was full as usual, and we had to wait in line for a seat. You could already decide what you wanted at the entrance. Burgers and sides arrived promptly and tasted very good. The service was quick and friendly. On our 3rd visit, the restaurant was almost empty (6 people), and unfortunately, everything took longer. We waited 15 minutes before we could order drinks. Another 10 minutes for our food order to be taken. That's too long with so few customers. The food was delicious, as always.

I tried the lunch special – a mini burger, fries, sauce, and lemonade for €15 – available from 12 to 3 p.m. The price is reasonable, but the burger is really small, literally three bites. It could have been a bit larger, even if the patty remained the same. Friendly service.

Dulf's Burger absolutely won me over. The burgers are juicy, freshly prepared, and simply delicious. You can tell they place great value on high-quality ingredients. The sides are also perfect and round out the whole experience. If you like really good burgers, this is the place for you.

My absolute favorite burger in Germany so far – especially the Dulf's Kreatur Burger with almost 500g of meat! Outstanding flavor and perfectly balanced: The sauces complement the guacamole, fried egg, and caramelized onions. The bread selection is also excellent, and the service is very friendly. The only downside: The price has risen dramatically – with fries and a drink, it's easy to exceed €30.

We entered this hamburger basement like Jules and Vincent entering a diner just before their final monologue – but instead of divine intervention, we were given fries with homemade mayo that would have made even Jules shout, "Mmm-mmm, that's a delicious burger!" The ambiance? Tarantinoesque with a touch of hamburger understatement. It feels like Steve Buscemi as Mr. Pink is somewhere around the corner discussing why he doesn't tip – but the service here deserves every single coin. Friendly, prompt, and stylish. And no gangsters anywhere in sight, just good humor and happy faces. The burgers? So good that even Vincent Vega would have interrupted his fifteen minutes in the bathroom for them. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, everything on point. And the mayo? The good kind, not that convenience-packed stuff. Everyone was happy – and that's saying something, because we're the Gordon Ramsays of the guests. 😂😉 A secret place beneath the city, but very cool and with explosions of flavor.

I got a burger, chips, dip, and drink for 15 euros for lunch. Keep in mind that the minimum tip is 10%, so it's a good idea to factor that in. The burger was a mini, but I was so full after eating the whole thing that I had a few chips left. I ordered lemonade, but it was a bit tart and a bit smaller than I expected, so I recommend just getting a regular soda. The staff is friendly, and it's a great place to relive the feeling of having a burger in Hamburg.

A typical burger place with busy but inefficient staff. There was an hour-long line outside, people waiting to order at tables, and even after finishing their meals, they had to wait a long time for the check. There are definitely better service and better food.

Completely unsuitable for vegetarians or vegans - not recommended. The veggie burger for 18.90 is significantly smaller than the meat burger and significantly more expensive. My order was incorrectly selected. Edit: Since you only offer vegan options but no vegetarian options with cheese, the only way to get a meatless patty and cheese is to replace the patty, which results in the exorbitant price of 18.90 - more expensive than the meat options, as described, which might give you pause if environmental and sustainability play a role in your business. It clearly doesn't seem to want vegetarian customers, so I won't be coming back.

Yesterday, five of us went to Dulf's Burger and were happily seated very quickly. The service was friendly, attentive, and overall really top-notch – you feel welcome as a guest! The meat burgers were very well received by our group: juicy, creatively topped, and definitely worth the money. You can really tell the quality here. Unfortunately, the vegetarian burger couldn't keep up. I chose a standard burger menu and replaced the patty with a falafel patty. However, this was overcooked, making it dry and extremely crumbly – it fell apart the first time I cut it. It was far from a proper patty, which made eating it rather tedious. Furthermore, the sauce in the burger was barely visible or tasty, which made the whole thing seem even drier. So, I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Conclusion: Highly recommended for meat lovers – there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the vegetarian options.

The food is incredibly delicious and of very high quality. The ambiance is wonderful, and the service is excellent. Even though we (two people) didn't have a reservation, we were seated immediately and served right away. In the end, you can say that everything was excellent, and you're definitely full after the meal, even if you eat more than you sometimes eat, and the service is excellent.

I went there and there was a waiting line so I stood there Then the line was shortened quickly and I was able to sit outside easily The problem started here. No, maybe because we were at the middle table, they really didn't come to take our order;; It was so bad that the group right in front of us were already eating, but they never came to take our order. Even when the people who arrived later than us were eating, they never came to take our order. We kept making eye contact, but the server kept avoiding us and pushing us back. But there was also a Korean couple waiting to pay in front of us, and that table also pushed us back until the end, and we ended up going to pay last. That couple couldn't wait any longer, so they kept looking at us and asking if they could pay, but they just said they understood and never did. ㅡㅋㅋ No, I don't even know how long we waited. Honestly, the taste was just average^^ The bread was also soft... I hope you go to a friendlier place. The taste is really average^^ But the servers at other tables were making small talk and being friendly, so I got the feeling that they were being a bit harsh to tourists..? If you're going to pay and wait a long time, then go......^^ If you see this review at a restaurant, the service is a bit Please fix it Treat all guests fairly.

It was so delicious. My international student friend said that I had to eat here when I came to Hamburg, so I took her there, and even though we got there a little late, there was a wait. But we got in early, so we didn't have to wait that long. I ordered a mushroom burger (champignon burger), and if you add 7 euros, you can upgrade it to a set. I ordered sweet potato fries and a brioche bread. The mushrooms were incredibly delicious and the portions were generous. Especially the sweet potato fries!! If there were any leftovers, they would wrap them up for me, so I had them and they were delicious the next day~

Outside seating was cosy and comfortable, service was welcoming and spoke good English, food was hot and delicious — fries were fresh and crunchy and the schlabbi burger was a good balance of flavours. Lotus cheese was really sweet but tasty — maybe need more than 2 pax to tackle it. Would definitely recommend for a hearty meal!

Hamburg's best burger, this one is worth the wait for a table!

Da der Service uns so unfreundlich behandelt hatte, ists bis zum Essen leider gar nicht erst gekommen. Wir sind vorher geflohen… Als wir ankamen, war die Terasse mit ca. 3-4 Tischen besetzt, also haben wir uns ein Plätzchen ausgesucht. Der Kellner zeigte uns dann sein Schild „Bitte hier warten, wir begleiten euch zum Tisch“ oder sowas… naja, eine Begrüssung wäre netter gewesen. Und die Ironie des Kellners war für uns leider nicht zu erkennen. Der Grund, weshalb wir dann gegangen sind war jedoch ein anderer. In unüberhörbarer Lautstärke hat er zu anderen Gästen gesagt, dass er sie „dieser Familie da drüben“ vorziehen wird… ok und Tschüss. Nicht mit uns. Die Erklärungsversuche und Entschuldigungen des Kellners waren dann für uns dann nicht mehr glaubhaft.

Juicy delicious Philly cheese steak. The extra cheese fusion is awesome. A full syringe of cheese which you can put as your own wish. Cheese cake was also nice.. I recommend visiting here.

Addendum: Everything in life is fleeting :( Moved away from Hamburg 6 years ago. Always stopped by Dulfs on my way through. Visit the store 2-3 times a year. Unfortunately, I rarely discover the passion I once had in the creatures. I've known Dulfs since around 2011. I think every long-time resident understands the feeling I'm missing. 5 stars remain for the memories. All the best!!! Yes, you do have to wait, and yes, there's sometimes very little space at the tables, but that was the case back then in the first store. The food is fantastic. Unfortunately, I often experience a difference in the quality of my creatures. Sometimes it's super-mega-yummy, and sometimes it's super-awesome-mega-yummy ;)

Very good. The goat cheese hamburger was super delicious, and the chili cheese sauce went well with the fries. The blackcurrant and elderberry lemonade could use a bit more sugar, but it's fine. The regular cheeseburger was also good, but the goat cheese burger was a bit different.

The staff is attentive and friendly. We would also like to thank Berhanada for her attention. It was much easier for us to communicate in our native language. The hamburgers were delicious. We had beer with them, and their own beer was also very good. The spicy chicken nuggets and sweet potato cheeseburger were included in the menu and were very delicious and filling. We recommend them. We were so hungry that we couldn't take photos of the hamburgers. 😉

Delicious burgers in a quiet place.

The hamburger is good but the service and comfort are zero. The service is annoyingly late, the food of those who come after you may come first. The seating outside is uncomfortable, there is no place to lean back. I don't think I will come again, the prices are crazy for us, the lowest cheeseburger price is 15.5 euros (excluding fries, drink and sauce) and you can get a menu for 7 euros.

Was a delicious hamburger. There is enough choice. Many different types and weights. Was a challenge for us. Just up and down to Hamburg for a hamburger.

A burger joint with a difference. Pricey to the point of being expensive, the drinks were really expensive, everything was delicious, no question, but still expensive. The service was rather inattentive (except for the barman), and the waitresses had worn-out fingernails (polishing chipped)—a no-go for me in service. We gave a really good tip—no thanks, nothing. It was not very polite, in my opinion. Very loud, no soundproofing, and it was difficult to hold a conversation.

I am a regular customer at Dulf's, they have good sandwiches, unfortunately the only one I can eat is the Italian burger and I can't eat it with mayonnaise, even though I write down every time that I can't eat it, they always put it. I spent 52 euros and for the umpteenth time I ruined my dinner. It's a real shame, I'm not used to giving bad reviews, but after so many times I have to! Ps despite everything it was even all cold which I could understand but I just want to clarify

Estuvimos muy satisfechos con nuestras hamburguesas en Dulf's. Disfruté de una hamburguesa con tocino y queso azul y a mi esposa le gustó su hamburguesa con queso. Compartimos un poco de batata y papas fritas normales que son de buen tamaño. Aquí también tienen unas hamburguesas y batidos increíbles. Fuimos a cenar y nos costó un poco conseguir mesa y servicio pero sentimos que la espera valió la pena. Visitamos Dulf's después de una visita al cercano búnker de Feldstraße (Flakturm IV). La estación de U-Bahn más cercana es Messehallen, pero hay autobuses y otras estaciones cerca.

I wanted to grab a quick takeaway on my way back to the hotel. No luck! The food was good, but I waited almost an hour at the bar for a single burger. If I hadn't paid online in advance, I would have left.
