Dulf's Burger in Hamburg

I ordered here for €70 for three people. Unfortunately, instead of three portions of fries for three burgers, they only delivered two fries for three burgers. Up to this point, things can happen. I then called them and was told. unfortunately that's bad luck. We're not going to do anything about it now, they'll get their money back for a portion of fries. Sorry but are you fucking serious. If you make mistakes you should be accountable for them. And bring the burger his fries as quickly as possible. Sorry but that's like Sx without climax. Am very disappointed. And my guests too, whom I wanted to spoil with your citizens and fries. There are two stars only because your burgers are awesome. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere now. Too bad!

In my entire life, I have never tasted such good burgers. And what better way to find it in THE etymological CITY of the burger, namely Hamburg. We went there on a Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. and there was still a huge queue even though we were not at peak hours... that's saying something... We only waited 20 minutes, thank goodness. Because there were people in front of us who didn't want to wait, so much the better!! We were seated at the counter in front of the equipped bar, ouch ouch ouch, it was heavy! They even had their own pressure bearing their image, that’s saying something! We're not going to beat around the bush, ALL burgers, I said "ALL" burgers are worth it. From meat to plant-based, everything! And besides, EVERYTHING is HOMEMADE! Guarantee of qualityyyy! Just writing the review is making my mouth water and I'm licking my lips... I'm going to calm down and stop there... Honestly, everyone, go for it, it's THE best burger restaurant in town. And who even knows? OF THE WORLD! After only following you on insta for years, I finally managed to visit you today. Killed and defeated the creature. I have to admit, it was easier than I thought 😅 The burger was simply fantastic. If you are after amazing burgers, you are at the right place. Reservations are not taken and there is always a queue. You have to wait at least 20-30 minutes, but is it worth it? Of course, it's worth it. All the burgers are delicious, but we liked the Philly cheesesteak the most. Mr. Franz is very good at the service. And he was friendly. If you like the burger, which takes its name from Hamburg, I recommend you to definitely stop by here.

The menu came out a little late, but it was plentiful and delicious. Chipotle burger recommended!!! My friend said the milkshake was delicious, so if you like milkshake, I recommend ordering it.

The last time I was at Dulfs Burger was 2-3 years ago. Back then it was just very tasty. Yesterday we were there with friends and ate overpriced burgers, if the quality like that back then wasn't an issue. The burger had no taste and any McDonald's burger is better, which is a real shame. I also ordered an Oreo shake, which turned out to be a mistake at the end of the day. End of song, I didn't sleep all night, had/have a stomach bug. You can imagine the rest. My guess is that the milk was probably bad or something else. Really a shame. I won't be eating there again too soon

We were here with 3 people for the so-called “lunch deal”. The reception is friendly, but cozy is definitely different. Wooden benches without cushions do not invite you to linger for a long time. For €14 you get a small portion of fries (with dip/sauce), a 0.2l drink and a burger, which is very small but tastes convincing. You definitely won't get tired of it!

The place is very small and flat, and the chairs and tables are not comfortable. There's only 30cm between us and the table next door, so goodbye to privacy... But the burgers are delicious and the fries are some of the best I've ever tasted. The price/performance ratio is worse than other boutique burger joints in Hamburg.

The best burger I've eaten in a long time.

Good burgers, especially the one with champions. The burgers have a great smoky note and were prepared quickly. The lemonade was also delicious. The service was very courteous and cheerful. The lemon chicken burger wasn't that great, but that's just my personal taste. The seating could also be a little more comfortable. All in all, the store is highly recommended.

The hamburger here was really impressive. The meat was juicy and had a great flavor of its own, which was clearly the focus. The contact details are not collected and Corona distance rules are not fully adhered to. Next to us, a 4 table was turned into two 2 tables and no partition was placed between them. We preferred Brioche bread, but it was not very fresh and tasty. The burger patty was not juicy. Some parts were dry. Prices are too expensive for these burgers. Unfortunately, the staff is not sufficient to keep up with the orders. Our drink was forgotten and we had to remind it again. That's why it took time to reach the waiter. These are minor problems, of course, but they are not acceptable for a burger joint that is said to be very good. Since the place is popular, it is overcrowded, there was a queue outside, but they are trying to keep up with all the orders with 2 waiters and of course, this is impossible. In summary, unfortunately our experience here was not positive.

I have eaten in this restaurant several times and have always been very impressed. The food was always great! However, the service yesterday could really be improved. We hadn't eaten them all yet when the plates were basically pulled away from us and the bowls with fries and sauce were simply placed on the table. They didn't ask if it was okay, they just said while the plate was taken away: "Take the fries and sauce from the plate." The drink glasses, which were still 1/4 full, were also pulled away and then asked if we would like to drink something else. But I would have liked to finish drinking first and not take my glass away. It seemed as if they wanted to get rid of us quickly. We were there with four people. There was a line outside with people who also wanted to eat there. I can understand that you are under pressure and want to do justice to everyone. Nevertheless, I should also make the customer in the store feel valued. The waitress who took and delivered our orders was friendly to us, but the other employee didn't make us feel welcome as guests. Update: We totally understood why this was done. Nobody doubted that and we understand that. The only thing that didn't give us a good feeling as a guest was the approach in which you first take away the plate or glass even though you're eating or have the glass in your hand and then ask if it's okay. And that is not a misrepresentation of the facts.

We were very lucky that it was a place in Hamburg where we entered without waiting in line. But after we entered, we waited for our order for so long that the last thing I wanted was to wait outside for that long. Because when we finished our meal and left, there were a few people waiting in line outside. I hope they know that people will be waiting inside for that long. She said she would take care of it with a very bad expression on her face and it was never done. I think you should do takeaway to avoid dealing with the waiters.

At lunchtime the dining room was quite full and I was happy to have been assigned a table. First of all, the bad, then there is more room for the beautiful: The space itself is also the problem. Basement, narrow, hardly any light. That doesn't make me feel comfortable. You can hardly move in the toilets when there is a second visitor in the room. (Hence only 2 stars) Even if the dining room is in the basement, the food is penthouse! I had a single cheeseburger on the menu. Perfectly medium cooked patty (they asked about the doneness) and was of good quality. Fresh salad, delicious brioche rolls. The sauce harmonized well with the rest and didn't seem "over". It starts at €15.50 (single cheeseburger) and can go up to €22.50 and more if you choose a menu. The fact that the cola is only 0.2l in size should be reconsidered, it is very stingy. The portion of fries was a fair size and the mayo was also sufficient. Although Dulf's is a trendy shop that is hyped by the media and influencers, you won't find any aloof or overly "cool" staff (at least that was the case when I visited). English is only spoken where the guest needs it. Friendly with a “you” and extremely quick, which also applies to the people in the kitchen.

We had ordered takeaway food. What was very annoying was that the bag was torn because it was too heavy with the contents and so on and the drinks were broken. Sturdy bags to take with you would be great. And to be honest, we didn't like the two burgers. Therefore we cannot recommend it.

Avocado Hamburger and sweet potato fries were excellent. I have eaten hamburgers in America and many places in Europe, but this hamburger was the best. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TASTE THIS TASTE :) Only the toilet of the venue was not clean and the venue was very small.

The male service staff deserve special mention. The only woman seemed annoyed and didn't even smile when she was in contact with us for the hour and a half we were there. Unfortunately, our burger sat on the counter for a few minutes, so the patty was only lukewarm. There were at least four people in the store and our waitress took a larger order at the next table - we could help each other there and bring what they ordered to the guest so that they a) don't have to wait any longer and b) are served something warm. Kind of a sobering evening.

We ate at Dulf's for the first time today and were very satisfied! The burgers and the brioche bun were great, the truffle mayo was delicious and the onion rings were perfect. Steven scored so highly with his wonderfully friendly service, good humor and his flexibility that we will definitely come by again and more often. Rarely have you left a restaurant so happy and full. Thanks!

I don't know if I've ever had such a good burger (and vegan too!). The bun was super fluffy and the burger itself was really juicy. All ingredients were fresh and prepared to perfection. The Crunchy Fries are a poem. And the guys in service were super nice and quick. We happened by here and were thrilled.

But when all seven of seven people leave the table satisfied and happy and agree to a decent tip, then that shows me that a lot is going right here. It took a while until we got the menu and when two tables ahead of us had ordered, we had already feared a long wait. But the food came quickly and everyone enjoyed it.
