Dulf's Burger in Hamburg

That is my favourite burger place in Hamburg and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat, the combinations, the buns are exquisite. The taste is the same in their all restaurants.

One of the best burger I had. IRALIAN with unusual ingredients for a burger, but you can really feel the good quality ingredients and specialy the meat. And finally one medium rare as should be.

Dulf’s Burger was once quite hyped and is still said to be the best burger in the city. We decided on Dulf’s in Emsbüttel. Why? We thought it was the coolest location and the best place to go for a drink afterwards. I chose the BBQ burger. Juicy peddy with really good bacon. But I recommend you get the sesame seed bun. It just has more flavor and a lot more sesame 😉 Overall, you can't go wrong at Dulf's, but my favorite burger probably still comes from Eindhoven 😉

I was on the road a little longer because the burger shop was recommended to me and it does what it promises. One of the best burgers I've ever eaten.

Yes, it's a delicious shop. But also just really expensive. For example, this evening we had the Schlabbi, which easily rose from 16 to 20 €. We recently went there a few times at lunchtime, where they simply serve mini burgers instead of normal portions. As far as the service is concerned, there are days like that: mostly everything is charming and relaxed, but we have also been called really silly, stupid and snooty 2-3 times...

The best fries of my life, extra crunchy on the outside, but soft inside! The pulled pork burger was also very nice. Their Hausbier is also amazing!

After a short research, I visited this restaurant with my wife and didn't regret it at all. We each ordered a burger menu and it was incredibly tasty. The prices are good for the quality offered, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful! Thank you very much, we'll be back!

We have been Dulf's fans from the very beginning, back then on Himmelstrasse. The burgers are still good, but the prices are now an announcement. Of course quality has its price, but just too much for a burger and you think twice about whether you go to Dulfs or somewhere else.

The quality has remained consistently very good. Unfortunately the price has become significantly too high. And that with the hard wooden benches! If only you could at least sit comfortably... Yesterday was probably my last visit to Dulfs.

The place was great when it opened, especially the chicken burger with it's big juicy thigh meat, though last time the fillet was small, overcooked, and dry, also the breadcrumbs were dark and bitter. Staff weren't bothered when I offered feedback.

Unfortunately, it was catastrophic when it came to the orders: only parts of the order were delivered and then they refused to deliver what was missing. When you order, you should be prepared for the fact that only parts of the order will arrive and the other parts (for which you placed the order in total!!!) will never arrive. The refund of only €5 on an order over €30 does not reflect the disappointment associated with the order not being delivered as discussed. Very unfortunate!!!

There are burgers, and there are Dulf's Burgers 🍔.

The food is absolutely delicious. The burgers always fresh and you can tell everything is to a certain quality. The only negative is they recently changed their menus, and the prices are now very high. Paying 16-18€ for a burger alone is just ridiculous.

Super tasty burger, top drinks and very dedicated service!

The three of us had dinner at Dulf's on October 21st, 2024 at around 2 p.m. The burgers were - as always - very, very good! But what was wrong with the waiter?! All tables were free inside, but 50% of the tables were not cleared. It's no wonder, because the only two waitresses (male and female) were also outside and had a wonderful time together - to a stranger it looked as if they were newly in love and the work was only secondary. Back to the male waiter: we wanted to sit at a long table with an armrest because I have problems with my back. The waiter initially insisted that we sit at a “clean” table - I could lean against the wall. But anyone who has back problems knows that it's not beneficial. By the way, only one side of the long table wasn't cleared, the other side was fine and wouldn't have bothered us at all. Now comes the icing on the cake: the stroppy waiter argued that it would be more work for him to clear this table now. After all, he can't seat anyone at a dirty table. Of course we ask ourselves why 50% of the tables are not cleared during that time?! Was spending time with the waitress outside really more important than work?! Did we disrupt their time together so much that the waiter had to look like it was raining for three days?! Where was the effort to clear the table immediately?! Questions upon questions - but in the end we don't know! His bad mood definitely spoiled our meal at Dulf's, even though the burgers were delicious.

Friendly and competent staff, juicy burgers, good price, comfortable tables and chairs. All I want from the neighborhood burger place. What I don’t get is why the price of beyond meat is more expensive than the burger with real meat, given that it is not real meat…

Waiting time after ordering for food: over 30 minutes Waiting time after ordering a drink: over 15 minutes When the drink came after the meal and I wanted to return it, the service became soggy. The single star is only given for the food.

Averagely good burger but nothing special :) the fries are incredibly tasty. Friendly and good service! 15€ for a cheeseburger with a vegetarian patty (cheeseburger with meat 10.50€) is absolutely not up to date!

Highly recommended! We have been in Hamburg for a week and we have repeated how delicious the burger was. It is a small chain that takes care of the product in detail.

Excellent recommendation, whether here or any of their branches, it is worth trying any of their combinations. I tried the mushroom burger and asked to add guacamole, as an accompaniment I ordered chicken nuggets, which are no longer in the photo because they flew away.

There are several Dulf's burger shops in Hamburg, but I like the ambience and service here best. The service is extremely friendly and you can have fun sometimes :D The burgers are great and the side dishes offered are first class. I am extremely satisfied.

We were there on a Saturday evening around 6 p.m. We got a place without a reservation or waiting time. Drinks & food were brought quickly. Our burger was very good and the portion was generous. We'd love to come back!

Super tasty burgers to choose from or put together yourself! Homemade lemonades are also available there. Definitely a must for civic lovers to have been here!

Great quality, deliciously seasoned, great meat! Cheeseburger with chicken nuggets and chili cheese sauce, fries with truffle mayonnaise - simply excellent, again and again! You sit outside relaxed, the staff are very nice and attentive, a great experience and a pleasure.

For me, the best burgers I've ever eaten. Everything is made fresh and only fresh ingredients are used. The burger buns are also baked in-house! There is something for every taste! Meat eaters, vegetarians and there is also the option of putting together your own burger using a modular system. The staff was super nice and we got to chatting a bit. We'll be back.

Great store with indoor and outdoor seating. Very tasty burgers to choose from with different types of bread and side dishes - in case of an emergency there is a modular system you can make yourself. Service is really nice and friendly.

We spontaneously got a place there. Service and food were very good.

One of the best burgers I ever ate. First, you can chose type of bun and doneness, which is a big plus. Second good thing is variety of sidedishes - mac&cheese was a blast. Third, the burgers themselves were perfect - firm and juicy. My friend complained about the ice tea being not sweet enough, but e.g. my basil lemonade was awesome (the ice tea was fixed by adding sugar, which reminds me the service was also nice). You can also build your own burger. Go get it!

The ambience is great, lots of art work. Friendly staff who also speak fluent English. Burgers are the best I know! Every guest that visits Hamburg always manage to remember Dulfs!!

Truffle Burger: 0.0 truffle flavor. The fries in the burger weren't really my thing either, but that's a matter of taste. For a relatively small burger plus a little water = 20 euros is simply too much. Staff super friendly and nice atmosphere!

The food is delicious, but it's a disgrace that a group of 4 people have to wait more than 20 minutes to order. We were also left sitting for more than 30 minutes after we said we wanted to pay. Only when we asked other staff that we wanted to pay was this finally possible after another 15 minutes of waiting. When we didn't give a tip due to the long waiting times, the staff made disparaging comments saying that they had chosen the training themselves, which is why they probably didn't have the opportunity to give a tip

I was eating at Dulfs with friends in the evening, the staff forgot about us when we ordered the bill and were then rude and cheeky when we didn't give a tip.

Burgers at their best. Selection of bread, parties from pink to well done, different types of sauce to go with the crispy fries. Good selection of drinks and desserts. Sitting inside and outside possible. Attention to service. Good price-performance ratio.

Just excellent!!! Too bad we couldn't take advantage of the place, because we arrived late (9:45 p.m.) and had takeaway. But the burgers are really very good, as much the bread as the meat, as well as the sauces... and the fries so crispy!!! Too good !

For me the best burger of my life! I have been a guest here several times during my various training courses! Always a pleasure! The patty was perfectly cooked, as ordered! Juicy, ingenious creations! All in all, just a really good burger place! Cool atmosphere! I will come back again and again!

Philly Cheese Steak wasn't even worth 1 star. An over-sweetened baguette burger bun topped with a few tiny pieces of beef (approximately 50 grams), peppers and mushrooms in a sticky chilli cheese sauce. Exactly 1 slice of cheese for an incredible €17.90. It couldn't be naughtier. In the end with fries and a beer it came to €26.10. When I paid the price without leaving a tip and expressed my criticism to the waitress, the answer I got was that he would still have a nice evening. You should at least take a look at the recipe and a few pictures of a Philly Cheese Steak before you put it on your menu. My companion's mushroom burger was too salty but otherwise ok. There won't be a second visit to your place and I don't understand the hype that is being made about Dulf's Burgers. We are happier in other stores.

Very tasty burger and great fries. The service was super attentive, for example the children were immediately asked if they wanted a straw and then they came in the right colors. Green and pink 😀 Were back now and what can I say, it was great again.

The burger and fries were really good and the prices were great. There was a good selection and you could also put together your own burger. It was pretty full, but you still got a seat pretty quickly. The organization was quite good, but sometimes they mixed up a few tables and the burgers took a while. But all in all it was great and there's nothing bad to say.

After a friend's recommendation, I was really excited about Dulf's Burgers. The expectations were high and the fall was even lower. The experience was very disappointing, the burgers at some fast food chains are juicier and tastier. The side dishes and shakes are really, really good, you have to give them that. But the burgers themselves? A real horror. The meat is dry and tastes like frozen mince, crumbly and difficult to eat. The outside of the brioche bun is totally oily, even greasy. It's no surprise that so many guests eat the burgers with a knife and fork. The burger sauces are completely over-seasoned and the cheese sauce has an almost aggressive taste - not even cheese lovers can enjoy that. Not even first-class service can fix this. I don't understand the hype about the store. Sorry, dear ones, that was nothing.

The service is very courteous, friendly and fast. Every employee pitches in everywhere. An extremely tasty burger, juicy, medium rare, as ordered. The fries were served crispy. Guacamole tastes fresh. Homemade mayo is convincing. Things were significantly different many months ago. If the level stays like this, we will definitely come more often. Considering the quality, inexpensive and very fair. Two burgers, two portions of French fries with individual sauce, a delicious homemade lemonade, a cola, two draft beers and a shared dessert for 49 EUR are 10 out of ten possible points.
