Terrible. There were five of us there, finding space without any problems, even though the restaurant was quite full. It took a while to order, but after that the burgers came quite quickly. Unfortunately something was mixed up in the order, but after waiting again we received a new delivery. With the new burger, the patty wasn't cooked through, the bun was limp, tasteless and very greasy. Fries too salty. The waitress then had better things to do and always served new guests. It took forever for drinks to be refilled and the dishes to be cleared, a total of over 40 minutes. Criticism that it wasn't tasty was met with a shrug of the shoulders; one could have complained. Hacks? Sub-Ideal.

For me the best veggie/vegan burgers in Hamburg! The service is always helpful, even if it sometimes takes a little longer due to the rush.

Food was very tasty, but service in black vans was very unfriendly. Makes you feel like you're superior and know everything better. Unfortunately it ruined the atmosphere so that as a guest you feel rather uncomfortable being served by them. Unfortunately, the waiter's behavior belies the good food.

Honestly, it's the best burger I've ever had. Service was brilliant, and our food was ready really quick. We thought when we sat down that it was a vegan place, but it says on the menu you can order meat instead.

My wife and I came here very hungry and left full. The ambience is simple, but ideal for a burger restaurant, so you feel very comfortable. The burgers were fantastic...very juicy and the ingredients perfectly balanced in taste. Personally, the burger was a bit too small for me, even though I ordered the largest size, so I deducted 1 star. However, the fries and the rest of my wife's leftovers still made me full.

Pleasant shop, there were three of us, we were welcomed straight away and told there would be a 10-15 minute wait. Friendly service, were placed shortly afterwards and the order was taken. The store was full, food and drinks took a while. The fries were great, the burgers were of very good quality, and the cheesecake tasted good. All in all, you can eat well there. Noise level was relatively high, so rather nothing for romantic moments.

Super tasty burgers that are all vegetarian. Meat patty upon request. Also vegan by replacing normal cheese. Lunch offer from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with selected burgers + side dishes + drinks for a good price. Food came quickly and order correct.

The best burger I’ve ever had. Staff were so friendly, great atmosphere. Our two burgers were delivered within 5 minutes of ordering them, I couldn’t believe it, and by no means was it delivered badly considering the swift system! Beautiful burger and chips, worth every penny.

Otto's Burger is always a good choice when you're hungry. Since they started offering smash burgers on the menu, the shop has earned 5 stars again. The burgers are well prepared and are either vegetarian or with meat. You can even choose two of the side dishes, both of which are then served at half price for one. Very nice if you like to eat both, but don't want to order two side dishes separately. The drinks are delicious and I recommend the Homemade Lemonades!

One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had. I had the holy guacamoly and my friend had the cheese burger, both great. We also added the sweet potato fries with the joney sauce and they were very nice. The place has a stunning atmosphere and it is quite interesting. The only thing I didn’t like so much was the home made lemonade, everything else was just perfect. The thing I love the most is that everything is vegetarian by default ❤️ i am definitely coming back 😊

Otto's Burger Hamburg impresses with fresh, regional ingredients and creatively put together burgers. The handmade patties are juicy and the homemade sauces round off the taste experience perfectly. The crispy potato fries with unusual sauces are particularly recommended. Vegetarians and vegans also get their money's worth with delicious alternatives. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make the visit particularly pleasant. A must for burger fans in Hamburg!

The burgers were really great, as were the side dishes. The burgers are vegetarian from scratch, which I personally think is very good. Definitely a recommendation. Unfortunately it was very loud inside and you could hardly have a conversation.

Vegan burgers are super delicious. I would like to see alternative dips and desserts. I can recommend a visit in summer, I don't like sitting in it in the wind. Especially in the upper corner, where ventilation is not allowed. Stuffy, smelly, unpleasant. Never sit inside/upstairs to linger! We just ate quickly and left just as quickly. Too bad.

I've had better citizens, but it's also a matter of taste. It's just so loud that you can barely hold a conversation!

Very hot inside and bad service

Unfortunately, a look behind the counter spoils your stay a bit. Hygiene is not given very high priority. The drinks were touched by the neck and then handed over. Our table wasn't even cleaned and we were allowed to eat on the leftovers from our predecessors. Apart from that the food is okay. It's a shame that things have been caved in here again to do something about the high meat consumption. For some time now, people here were boasting about charging extra for meat variants. That was probably a great marketing strategy at the beginning, but now it's no longer being followed through. Kind of a shame.

Simply perfect. Great menu, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Furthermore, female well-being is taken care of in the form of hygiene products in the toilet. Highly recommended. Also respect for vegetarian alternatives

An amazing restaurant! We wanted to eat a great burger in Hamburg and found out about this place via Instagram. Wow.. Everything vegetarian/vegan? Everything cheap? Everything ultra delicious? No question at all! But what caught me most was the taste of the vegan patties. I've never eaten a vegan burger where you can't taste the fact that it's vegan. Hats off!

Friendly service! Food came very quickly, but unfortunately I didn't like it 100%. The crust on the onion rings was so hard that it was unfortunately not enjoyable to eat them. My friend's meat wasn't cooked through, so if I asked, it would be fried again.

Mega! Came here on the recommendation of a friend. When we arrived everything was full but we were allowed to wait. After 5 minutes we were brought to the table, the service was really friendly and accommodating, special requests were no problem and the food came very quickly. The burgers were honest, good burgers, well prepared and tasted simply great. The homemade lemonade and cocktails were great and harmonious. The poutine (Canadian fries) was the best part of the whole thing though, I'm still thinking about it. All in all, a rightly hyped store!

We were in the store at lunchtime with children and met very friendly staff. The ambience is something different and the burgers were also very good. What more do you want! Everything is within reasonable price too!

It was my first time in this location. The burgers and sides always taste great. The Schanzenstrasse is cozy but cool and the staff is extremely friendly. I was even allowed to charge my cell phone behind the bar without any problems. You can even tap water with lemon for free at the bar. The vegetarian patty was once again a dream and the lettuce on the burger was fresher than ever. The prices are totally okay. Will definitely be my favorite Ottos Burger location.

Extremely rude customer service! Me and my husband speak fairly good German although we are from Finland. We communicated in German with the waiter. When there was one misunderstanding this waiter almost shouted at us, got super angry and told us not to use German at all if we make mistakes. This was just unbelievably outrageous. He was rude even before this incident. Burgers were average, nothing special. This ruined our mood and the first evening of our holiday.

Such a cool place with amazing staff and incredible food, 10/10 would absolutely recommend. And the waffle fries are soooooo good. Very inclusive too and such a happy place. Love the interior too.

In short: wonderful. The burgers were put together really well. The menu is vegetarian and meat from sustainable regional farming is also available for an extra euro. The meat was super tender and fried to a perfect medium rare. Ambiance was also great and the service was great. Gladly again.

We ordered from Uber Eats. A total of just under 60 euros. The burgers were good. Cooking point was top. There was no cutlery included, even though it was specially ordered (coleslaw). We both found onion rings definitely not enough for the price (4 pieces for 6.50 euros!) I didn't like the coleslaw either - but that's a matter of taste. We definitely won't be ordering here anymore. A pity!

Very expensive!!! 14 euro burger with a paddy like at McDonald's. Fries cost an extra 4.5 Plus dip is 20 euros. The burger is just bad. The worst store I've been to so far.

Wir waren am Samstagabend dort (Wartezeit bis man einen Platz bekommen hat ca 20 Minuten im Vorraum; Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden). Als wir dann im Restaurant waren wurden wir zügig bedient. Die Burger sind VEGETARISCH können aber auf Wunsch mit Fleischpatty oder Hähnchenpatty zubereitet werden. Ich hatte den Trüffelburger mit dem vegetarischen Patty und dazu die Chilli-Cheese-Fries als Beilage und eine hausgemachte Limonade. Mein Partner hatte den Cheeseburger und Onionrings und ein Bier. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen gleichzeitig und haben sehr gut geschmeckt.

It was a pleasant place, the burgers and fries were delicious, the beers were served cold, it was a nice taste and resting point in the cold weather outside in January.

During our little trip to Hamburg we decided on Otto's Bürger because of the great area and very good reviews. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. A big plus point is definitely the large selection of vegan alternatives and the principle of the menu: you can choose any ingredients with the “extras” and there is no citizen who can't do it. Also vegan (which is often not possible)! The citizen himself was also very good. Unfortunately the drinks weren't good. They were described in the menu as “made” sodas but they didn’t taste that fresh, more like a mix of different soft drinks and water. Overall, 3/5 stars, which are also based on the price-performance ratio, which really didn't seem appropriate to us. The staff is not that motivated, we were initially told we could choose a place, but then the place we chose wasn't good and we had to go somewhere else. The service is otherwise very fast.

This was our second visit to Ottos and it lived up to the (very high!) recollection of the first visit. The default is a vegetarian option and, as a meat-loving family, we were originally a little skeptical about this option so half of us upgraded to meat. Both options were exceptionally tasty. We were delighted to find that the quality of food is just as high 18 months later- definitely worth detouring for!

Service and food very good. But eating in shallow tin bowls is a matter of habit. I found it very loud in Otto's Burger.

Had a very good burger, all ingredients were perfectly balanced. Highly recommended! Fries were also tasty, make sure you order them with it. The burgers are standard vegetarian, but can also be ordered with chicken or beef. Service was friendly and helpful.

Best Burger ever…nothing more to say

50 minutes to wait? I reallize thats a problem from longtime ago. I undesrstand that a big tisch (6 friends) is hard to get. But its even harder harder if you skip this whit more than 4 small groups. If you are out of patience, Avoid the place on weekends afternons. And when the restautant is full. Ist posible to it at the waitin area. And also outside when the wether helps.

Had a Smash (regular) burger with fries. Presentation is week, Burger was good, fried dry and salty. Was OK, nothing to fall over. They offer vegetarian burgers but couldnt tell me exactly what it's made of (oerhaps peas and wheat!) or who the supplier is. Friendly service, efficient, helpful. The place is nice but feels like just another bar (Kneipe).

Einer der besten Burger, den ich je gegessen habe. Wir waren 2x dort und bestellten beim zweiten Mal unabsichtlich die vegane Version. Auch dieser Buger ist sehr lecker.

I was recommended by a “native” and by some reviews I read on travel blogs. Dine outside and not inside the premises I saw it because it was packed and I had no reservation. The burgers 🍔 are correct and by default they are vegan, so if you want beef or chicken you have to ask for it. They have a menu in English

Nach einer langen Anreise suchten wir ein Ort in der nähe des Hotel um etwas zu essen, wir fanden dieses Local es war sehr gut besucht wir bekammen den letzten Tisch der noch frei war. Auswahl wat gross und man konnte sich den Burger nach wahl zusammen stellen ebenfalls die Beilagen. Burger waren lecker, Service sehr freundlich, Preis Leistung ganz ok
