I don't know where the good reviews come from. You can't reserve a table in advance, but then you're forced into a table with several groups. The citizen rolls were sticky, the meat was over-fried, but the grilled vegetables I ordered just passed the grill and had no roasted flavors. The portions were too small for the price. I often go out for burgers and make my own burgers at home, which wasn't good food. Staff was attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious! It was practical that I could order any toppings. We spent two nights in Hamburg and came back for both! I found it strange that one orders via mobile phone and also pays via mobile phone. There is nobody to greet you at the table. It was very much like at McDonald's. The staff were friendly.

The atmosphere, location, staff were wonderful, but the taste was not satisfactory..

As former regulars, we are really disappointed at how Burgerlich has changed. The burgers are dry and not worth the premium price at all. It feels like the portion sizes for fries have been halved. The kitchen takes forever, even when there are hardly any guests there. If the store is half full, there is a 50 minute wait. The service takes 10 minutes plus x to fulfill the simplest requests. Pretty much all alternatives in the city center are now much better. Really a shame.

There was a campain for 10 euro, including burger-fries-1 sauce and drink. Burger was good, it has 1 patty and it was thin. It would be great with 2 patties. But this campain at that price, it’s well enough. Fries were great, lemonade is ok. We liked the place’s atmosphere. You can try if you are in the neighbor. Thank you so much.

Been here for the first time and had nothing to complain about. The food was great, the time until the meal was passed well and the staff were relaxed. Mr. Rajdeep in particular was particularly accommodating. Gladly again!

The burgers are very good! French fries as well as the onion rings. The latter are easily enough for two people, they are very large with a lot of dough. The blackberry milkshake actually tasted like real blackberries without any flavors or anything like that and the apple-cinnamon lemonade is also recommended. The onion rings would go well with mMn sour cream, which unfortunately is not offered. As far as food and drink goes, the place is a 9 or 10 out of 10. The atmosphere is cozy and on Sunday around 4 p.m. it wasn't too crowded. The ordering concept (using the web app either individually or as a group with an invitation function) is interesting and theoretically very practical, but we had various mishaps on the first try (accidentally creating two groups for the same table, which can no longer be deleted or left). so we ended up ordering together over the phone. That's not a problem, but the general mess was a bit stressful. At the end you can pay by credit card or PayPal on the website and simply leave the store straight away. In the end, the staff mostly just delivers the food, which I like. I'll go there again when I'm in town again.

A very unpleasant seating system, why make people wait and then seat them closely on the ground floor, when upstairs is much more spacious and comfortable?! I would like to choose where I sit. The food is ok, if like now there is an option for 10 euros for a burger, potatoes and a drink. But you need to understand the online application yourself; the waiters do not serve or help. Previously, it was possible to cook meat differently, but now it is not. The menu only allows you to remove something from the burger, but not add or replace a side dish with an additional charge. And the most interesting thing is that we canceled the tomatoes in the burger, but they brought them to us! I wanted the meat medium rare, but it was cooked all the way through. It's a shame that the place is deteriorating, it could have had good potential. The toilet was also in poor condition - there was no toilet paper anywhere and no one was cleaning it.

The food was great, also quite cheap, 10€ for a burger+fries+drink ( 10th anniversary deal), the ordering process super easy on your phone, the staff is friendly and willing to help, the ambience really nice, good music. Also the vegan option was amazing, all mayo sauces also vegan 🥰

For me the taste was 0 points, the meat had no taste at all, was a bit burnt and made for a plaster. Onion. Burnt meat and a patch of tomatoes in a cheapest burger bun in the world for €12 is already cheating and exaggerating!!!! Hello Lena, I wonder what you are doing in your position, if you don't understand German and if you perceive the cheapest tomatoes without taste as quality, then I suspect that your purchases end up at Aldi And with all due respect, if you find unseasoned meat to have a unique taste, that's an insult to all other restaurants that really make an effort and spend a lot of money on high-quality products for their customers. With you, only the price is high. I prefer to answer here so that all customers can see your level (of Aldi). I like to spend my money and pay more. Burger was tasty, but nothing special. The sweet potato fries were great :). Otherwise, we were very disappointed that there was no fried cauliflower on the menu locally, but online.

Service: Actually, this is hardly worth evaluating. The table was sticky and we had to ask for it to be wiped down. Ordering is done via mobile phone and payment can also be made here. The food came very quickly and the waiter hardly said a word. Some things from the order were forgotten, which can happen. You can “call a waiter” using the QR code. Overall it was very bland and didn't feel seasoned. The only positive thing about the burger was the fried egg. The portion of fries was very small and equally cold. My colleague had the Burgerlich Allumettes and we ultimately asked ourselves what they were for... just very thin fries and hardly any content. In the shell of my fries, the inner coating was crumbling away and there were ceramic crumbs at the bottom. Rust underneath the coating. I'm not sure, but it's healthy mmn. not. My companion ultimately seasoned himself with everything that was available (hot sauce, salt, pepper) because he was also very dissatisfied with the burger. Ambiance and location: Location, furnishings and accessibility are top. Of course it's not enough to come back. There are much better alternatives in the surrounding area.

There is a good selection of burgers and other options. Ordering on the app is very easy and paying the bill in a group is great. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated. Unfortunately it wasn't very handicapped accessible as you can't get up the steps with a wheelchair.

Actually one of my favorite burger shops in Hamburg, but it has now gone from having screens popping out at every table to "ordering from your own cell phone via QR code". However, ordering on your cell phone usually doesn't work so well and requires a few attempts. It now takes longer until the order is at the table, but then the fries and then the sauce were forgotten. At €25 per person it's pretty expensive for a simple, delicious burger and something to drink. Unfortunately I won't be going here any time soon.

Und da bin ich gerne bereit, ein paar Euros mehr auf den Tisch zu legen. Auch der Service ist super freundlich und das Bestellkonzept per Handy ist einfach und super. A lot of restaurants I went to in Hamburg didn't have that option.

I visited this Burgerlich branch on a break during my business trip to Hamburg. I like that this placeoffers a quiet place to have lunch, ie, you order and pay from your phone and can minimise interactions. I ordered the lunch meal of a cheeseburger and chips with cheese sauce. Get the chips, they are to die for. The hamburger was well seasoned and well balanced with the tomatoes and lettuce. The cheese was icing on top. I got the strawberry sparkling drink and was refreshing to wash off the meaty meal. There were free apples to pick from the basket while I was there too, which I think is a great way for guests to finish the meal and to reduce food waste.

Came here on a whim when the Bavarian restaurant next door was closed. Though the restaurant seems quite dark from the outside, it's comfortable and hip once you get settled in. Most tables are large enough to suit bigger groups dining together. The burgers were excellent and the service was swift and friendly. Orders are made through the QR code on the table, though it wouldn't let me order through my preferred name as three letters was supposedly too short for the system. The prices are a little steep, with two burgers, two portions of fries, a lemonade and a small beer coming to around €50. But for a quick bite to eat with good atmosphere, definitely worth a visit.

Burgery, that was always fun when ordering, over! No more touch screens, now you have to order everything on your own cell phone, how boring! Your unique selling point, fun feature rationalized away! You were one of my favorites for many years. Sure, the burgers taste great, but others can too. Ordering from you was partly the highlight. Now you can't even cancel excess orders on your phone... This evening I had dinner at "Burgerlich" with my family and friends. Personally, I didn't find the food particularly tasty, but it was still good. The music was a little too loud for my taste, but it was still within limits. My father's food didn't arrive after he ordered it, but the owner was very accommodating and took care of it about 20 minutes later, so he didn't even charge us for the burger or side dish. Thank you again for that.

Me and my son sat in to eat on a Wednesday evening. We chose Burgerlich because the concept seemed simple enough and my son is quite fussy. The open to order on an ipad and remove items was great. It wasn't iPads, it was from your phone, which was even better! There were plenty of options and I liked being able to add some bits to my burger. The food arrived and was much better than expected, as was the mojito. The staff were lovely and friendly, even though there is limited interaction due to online ordering and payment. I expected fast food, but got much more!

The website doesn't work. Unfriendly employees. You can only order with your cell phone, which wouldn't be so bad if you couldn't watch YouTube videos while the message on the website said you had no connection.

Wenn man dann och draußen im städtischen Getümmel sitzen kann, ist das 'Burgerlich' auch ein guter Tip für Touristen. Preislich ok, im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen hanseatischen Edelburgerbrätern.

I came for a late evening dinner. The tablet ordering system doesn’t always work, but I found one that would take my order. My meal came out fairly quickly. The meat on my burger was a bit overcooked, but had a nice flavor. The sweet potato fries were good. And the frozen yogurt drink was a nice way to finish off the meal.
