We celebrated my mother's birthday at this restaurant on Sunday and were absolutely thrilled! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; we immediately felt welcome. I especially liked how child-friendly they are, which is something you unfortunately rarely see these days. After dinner, the kids even got a free ice cream, a truly lovely gesture! The food was also excellent; everything tasted amazing, and we had a fantastic time. Kudos to the entire team – we'll definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant! 🍽️✨

I just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat at the Italian restaurant around the corner. The food was very good and prepared with love, but I didn't feel comfortable. The young, beautiful waitress was very attentive and friendly, but the boss lacked any hospitality or warmth. There was no eye contact, so there wasn't a warm atmosphere. The young man behind the counter was also very attentive; he immediately noticed when my glass was empty and asked if I wanted another one. Great! The food was great, the service staff were great, but with the boss, I missed the joy of serving guests. Maybe it was just a bad day. Thanks again to the young lady; I hope she gets the tip the boss collected.

While the restaurant looks good, the service was disappointing. The guests wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday with a surprise—including a candle—which the staff had previously permitted. However, neither the waiter nor the owner offered any kind of congratulations or friendly gesture. Instead, a cold atmosphere prevailed, with the feeling of being rushed off the counter. Overall, it all seemed more like a facade than genuine hospitality. Not recommended.

Review: Disappointment across the board – unfortunately, absolutely not recommended Where to begin, where to stop? The appetizer itself was a disappointment: Instead of the advertised shrimp in aioli, we were served cheap, over-seasoned curry shrimp – barely edible in terms of taste. We sent the appetizer back entirely. A question from the waiter? None. The waiter – probably even the owner – shone more through arrogance than professionalism. The main course didn't improve: mushy supermarket pasta, supposedly with truffle, but in reality covered in cheap truffle oil – inedible. The Parmesan cheese, which the menu stated was part of the dish, was neither flambéed nor dressed in any other way. The "effect": Not a hint of real Parmesan on the pasta. The dish was returned three times – without any improvement. In the end, the meal remained almost completely untouched. No concessions, no questions asked – just a bill for €250. For this quality, it's simply a disgrace. Our conclusion: Once – and never again. The owner should seriously consider how he treats paying guests. There's a huge gap between price, expectations, and reality here.

The food was really delicious, hence the 2 stars. I'd really prefer to give it just 1. The service was completely unfriendly. We waited 20 minutes for service and another 15 minutes for our drinks. The place is nice to look at, but not the place for a cozy, quiet meal. It's so loud you can't hear yourself. You're literally sitting at your neighbor's table. Very unpleasant!

Amazing Italian Restaurant in Düsseldorf! It is recommended by an italian friend of mine for authentic Italian food, which is definitely worth trying. We tried truffle pasta in Parmeggiano, which tastes great. Also good wine selection plus very delicious olive oil in each table. Even the porcelain that food served is qualitative amazing. Little details are making the difference.

I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant and it was simply outstanding! The pasta with truffle and beef was an absolute taste experience - perfectly prepared, aromatic and to the point. Every bite was a delight! The service was exceptional - attentive, friendly and professional. You felt welcome and well looked after from the first to the last minute. The dessert was also a real highlight and rounded off the culinary experience perfectly. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price-performance ratio. Absolutely appropriate for this quality, taste and first-class service. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

It was very, very tasty and the portions were quite generous. There was a basket of bread and rolls in advance, including homemade herb butter. The price level could definitely be described as normal. Regarding the ambience, it is actually a very nice restaurant. Comfortably kept and with great attention to detail. However, that evening all the seats were occupied by some travel or company groups and the noise level was so high that it was sometimes difficult to understand each other at your own table. Not so, but I'm looking forward to my next visit there The service was good and unobtrusive.

The restaurant scores with a nice atmosphere that invites you to linger. The food was really tasty - the dough for the rolls and the herb butter were particularly good. The main courses were also good, although the truffle pasta wasn't enough for the Instagram hype for me - it was solid, but nothing extraordinary. I only had a Pizza, but it wasn't really good, especially at that price point. I get Pizza of similar quality for 20% less and I get Pizza of superb quality just one km away from this restaurant for basically the same price. To be fair I have to say that the menu has a lot more to offer that is not Pizza. I'd suggest to just order some of the other stuff, even if you'll probably spend 2-3 times as much on your food. The meat and fish dishes all looked very good, but I can't really rate them.

Delicious, classic and very popular Italian restaurant. Was a very good choice. Small suggestion for improvement: If pasta made from a parmesan wheel is served, please preheat the plates. Unfortunately, our pasta cooled down very quickly on the cold plate. Preheated plates will make all the difference!

There were 6 of us there and we all ate different dishes. All the plates came at the same time. From lasagne, pizza tuna, saltim bocca, veal kidneys, rigatoni with gorgonzola or the bavette, everything was excellent.

Four of us ate here on the evening of the Türkiye-Netherlands football game. The restaurant was well filled and a group of about 10 men loudly entertained the entire restaurant. Other guests' complaints about this were not addressed. Our table was not completely set when we arrived and this was only corrected after the second request. Unfortunately, the poor service was a recurring theme throughout the rest of the evening. We had to place our drinks and food orders twice. Nevertheless, an aperitif was forgotten and we were served the wrong bottle of red wine. Questions about the wrong bottle were not answered. At a later date we ordered 3 glasses of red wine from the menu. Instead of 3 glasses, only 1 glass was served and again the wrong wine. When we spoke, the glass was taken away again, taken to the counter with the glass and then served to someone else at our table without comment. The two missing glasses of the wrong red wine were then served. The dishes were all very tasty, but unfortunately not everything went smoothly there either. At one point our table ordered gnocchi with gorgonzola and carbonara was served instead. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he took the dish back and a short time later brought spaghetti with Gorgonzola. For this price level you can definitely ask for a quieter atmosphere and better service.

On May 3rd I was really craving Italian food and pizza. On the recommendation of a good friend, I tried the Trattoria Zucchero - a real insider tip! The restaurant has a charming vibe: not too fancy, but still with an upscale ambience reminiscent of a 90s Italian film. There were five of us, all dressed appropriately, and we got a table straight away. As a truffle lover, I ordered the truffle pasta with cheese and a truffle pizza. The truffle pasta was prepared directly at the table, which was not only entertaining but also earned extra points. The quality of the truffle was excellent and the portion was generous, which really filled me up as an 80kg man. The pizza was also excellent – ​​typically Italian and very tasty. Contrary to some reviews I read, I found the sauce on the pasta not watery at all, but almost perfect. In other upscale restaurants here in Düsseldorf I have often only tasted butter or light cheese flavor with truffle oil aroma, which was definitely not the case here. If you're looking for a place a little away from the city where you pay not only for the look of the food but also for the taste, this is the place for you. The price-performance ratio is great. We were all very satisfied and will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, a group of about 10 men had “hijacked” the restaurant. The group commented loudly on the game. Old town level! Normal conversation was not possible. Communication was only possible when my husband and I shouted at each other. Who wants that! At a dinner with which we actually wanted to end the evening of a beautiful day in a pleasant atmosphere. The requests from other guests for the group to be a little quieter went unheard. We spoke to a member of staff and asked that the group be quieter out of consideration for other guests in the restaurant. “It’s difficult,” was the answer. Nothing has happened. When we immediately asked for the bill, the boss who was present also noticed that we were upset and tried to save what could no longer be saved. We paid and left. And not just us, by the way. The restaurant emptied itself quite quickly beforehand. As a farewell, a member of the loud group gave us the finger!! With all understanding of football emotions: In a restaurant in the higher priced category, as a guest I expect treatment that lives up to the standards set by the prices on the menu. Since we were clearly not shown the same respect as the loud group and were apparently neither able nor willing to ask the group to be considerate of other guests in the restaurant, we will draw the consequences and definitely not come back. We no longer visit restaurants whose guests are at the level of a 'stink finger'!

Samstagabend. Fußballspiel Türkei - Niederlande. Wir wollten gemütlich essen gehen. Trotzdem. In einem Restaurant weit weg von der Altstadt sollte das trotz Fußball kein Problem sein. Dachten wir. Und gingen wie so oft zum Italiener im Stadtquartier. Leider hatte eine etwa 10köpfige Männergruppe das Restaurant "gekapert". Das Spiel wurde aus der Gruppe lautstark kommentiert. Altstadtniveau! Eine normale Unterhaltung war nicht möglich. Eine Verständigung gelang nur, wenn mein Mann und ich uns anschrien. Wer will das schon! Bei einem Abendessen, mit dem wir eigentlich den Abend eines schönen Tages in angenehmer Atmosphäre ausklingen lassen wollten. Die Bitten anderer Gäste an die Gruppe, etwas leiser zu sein, verhallten ungehört. Wir sprachen einen Mitarbeiter an und baten darum, die Gruppe aus Rücksicht auf andere Gäste im Restaurant zu bitten, leiser zu sein. "Ist schwierig", war die Antwort. Getan hat sich nichts. Als wir dann unverzüglich die Rechnung verlangten, bemerkte wohl auch der anwesende Chef, dass wir verärgert waren und versuchte zu retten, was nicht mehr zu retten war. Wir zahlten und gingen. Und übrigens nicht nur wir. Das Restaurant hat sich schon vorher recht zügig geleert. Zum Abschied zeigte uns ein Mitglied aus der lautstarken Gruppe den Stinkefinger!! Bei allem Verständnis für Fußball-Emotionen: In einem Restaurant der hochpreisigeren Kategorie erwarte ich als Gast eine Behandlung, die dem Anspruch gerecht wird, der über die Preise auf der Speisekarte erhoben wird. Da man uns ganz offensichtlich nicht den gleichen Respekt entgegenbrachte, wie der lautstarken Gruppe und offenbar weder in der Lage noch überhaupt gewillt war, die Gruppe um Rücksicht auf andere Gäste im Lokal zu bitten, werden wir die Konsequenzen ziehen und definitv nicht mehr wieder kommen. Lokale, deren Gäste sich auf dem Niveau des 'Stinkefingers' bewegen, besuchen wir nicht mehr!

Many guests, including me, chose the truffle pasta. Unfortunately the wrong choice. The pasta is really not good. Far too light and far too little cream and very little truffle. An older lady at the next table, however, had received an extremely large amount of truffles. That was pretty cheeky. Well the pizza as a starter was delicious. So not a recommendation.

They were quick to seat us. But did not come to take order for fifteen minutes after giving us the menu card. And then to have no response for another fifteen minutes - till I raised my hand. And by then the waiter who took the order had forgotten what we had ordered. Felt that they were racist as they served people around us fast. Avoidable if you are an Asian / Indian

We ended up at this restaurant looking for pamesan pasta and were guided by the reviews here. As far as the selection of drinks and the quality are concerned, they have to be described as consistently good, regardless of whether they are an aperitif or a main course. Let's get to the food, which unfortunately wasn't as expected. The beef carpaccio was almost neutral in taste, unfortunately very neutral even with the parmesan and rocket. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta made from parmesan was not the highlight we had hoped for. It was prepared directly at the table, which is certainly a highlight, but in the end you could taste the pasta and the truffle but hardly the cheese note. The sauce, which I would normally describe as a Parmesan cream, was rather watery and the Parmesan was only partially dissolved in it. Certainly also a problem with the temperature, here we probably work with oil from the dispenser - I know it like that, which is flambéed and then the pasta is tossed in it and not with any oil. Of course, taste is also lost. (In my opinion, I'm not a trained cook) In the end it was “ok” for us, we expected more. In my opinion, the service was rather reserved; this typical hospitality was missing here. We had the feeling that it was OK for guests to be present. Difficult to describe. Reserved is probably the best way to say it. Unfortunately for us it's not a recommendation overall, but a restaurant with potential. Unfortunately, it currently doesn't live up to our expectations.

Italian foodgasm is the adjective I would like to use here. Excellent service. Just a small tip. Please reserve your table. I visited 4 times without reserving a table and it was always full. 5th time I went with reservation and realized why they are usually full.

Zucchero is one of my favorite restaurants. If I get a table reserved for the busy Prowein after a hard day at the trade fair, I'll be happy. Great wine list, mixed antipasti and the best parmesan pasta with truffles, dolce vita! Despite the hut being full, a friendly team, they are true hosts! Grazie mille, alla prossima!

Even a month after I ate here, my impression remains negative. The pasta with truffles appealed to me. Also because there was a lot of advertising for it on Instagram. Turns out it's not much more than show. The taste couldn't keep up with the advertising. The noodles weren't worth the money. The sauce is watery (see picture). You can hardly taste the parmesan. Added to this was the service: first they forgot about us, then they only brought one meal, then no more drinks were brought. Bottom line: If you're used to really good Italian food, you won't be happy here. A pity!

Bei Zucchero gibt es eine gute Auswahl leckerer Gerichte und Speisen. Der Service ist sehr gut und man kommt sehr gerne wieder nach Zucchero.

Eine Stammadresse für mich in düsseldorf. Die Pasta aus dem Käserad mit Trüffel ist spektakulär. Der Wirt und die Keller sind megafreundlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Also kochen können die!! Und die Tagliolini aus dem Parmesan Laib mit Trüffel sind fantastisch. Und bei den Trüffeln wird nicht gespart. Leider ist alles sehr eng.

Un endroit idéal pour déguster une bonne cuisine italienne. Les tarifs sont ok, le vin abordable ,les serveurs sont aimables et font même quelques blagues! Les plats sont variés savoureux et vraiment italiens. Le seul bémol c'est que l'endroit est vraiment bruyant.
