Trattoria Toscana in Berlin

Last Wednesday we celebrated my brother's 60th birthday at Trattoria Toscanini. There was no question of celebrating. How did it come to this? My brother has been planning to celebrate there for a long time, about a quarter of a year. Until last Wednesday we had only had good to very good experiences. So the number of guests and the food was known for a long time. It was planned that the plates with the antipasti would be on the tables when the guests arrived at 5 p.m. and we would serve an aperitif. What we found were bottles of water. The first waiter came after about 30 minutes and asked what drinks we wanted. They also only came after a long time. The plates with the antipasti were “already” there 1 1/2 hours later. The plates were left dirty on the tables for more than an hour. At around 8.30 p.m. the first people received the food they ordered, but it wasn't of the usual quality. The icing on the cake, however, was that the Coke/Rum ordered only contained homeopathic cans of rum in stale Coke. After complaining again, the drinks became a little stronger but still not what we expected. Conclusion: the trattoria has some regular customers. Go!

First of all, I have to say that the service was consistently friendly. But waiting 30 minutes for a drink or 1 hour and 45 minutes for what you ordered is clearly too long

Overall, we had a lovely evening at the trattoria! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was truly delicious—especially the pasta, which was simply divine. The ambiance was cozy, which made the evening very pleasant. The only downside was the slightly longer wait for the food, which was hardly noticeable given the cozy atmosphere, but was definitely noticeable. It was also a bit noisy, which somewhat detracted from the charm of the evening. Despite these minor flaws, it was an all-round successful experience that I would gladly repeat. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for a relaxing evening!

Fast and delicious, typically Italian food in a rustic atmosphere.

Small, cozy restaurant with a terrace. Inside you feel like you're in Italy. Every meal is worth its price and very tasty. The staff is very attentive, very friendly and makes sure that the guests don't lack anything and are well. We always come back and really enjoy it. Highly recommended 👍

Super friendly service and nice atmosphere. Quality of food varies from time to time. But all in all the best Italian in our beautiful Heinersdorf.

We've been there before and were quite satisfied. BUT The food on Valentine's Day was awesome! Waited over 2 hours for the food, with many of those coming after us getting their food beforehand. There were only 2 menus each for men and women, which was supposed to simplify the whole thing. We even had to wait about half an hour for the drinks, not to mention the follow-up order. For almost 40 euros, such a bad steak (for all of us) with the consistency of a shoe sole is an absolute disgrace! Because it was a small slice. At neighboring tables there were sometimes 2 slices stacked on the plate, each one being larger than ours. That was definitely the last time there, especially since we drive about 40 minutes there, which isn't worth it!!!

The atmosphere is nice, the waiters are nice, but unfortunately the pasta carbonara wasn't really good.

You're doing great. Above all, the varied weekly menu is a joy. Always my pleasure.

Favorite Italian restaurant around the corner and I just want to say thank you! You really are the best! Service is absolutely friendly, always in a good mood, you are greeted personally, perfect service and the food leaves nothing to be desired: Here you can find the tastiest spaghetti pomodore and the tastiest pizzas… After a long day at work, you can enjoy the most delicious tiramisu with a Primitivo. Really everything was great! There were 12 of us and every meal was great. The waiters were all nice, courteous and funny. This restaurant is absolutely recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Basically, I can't judge the Italian restaurant in normal operation, but I would like to rate the New Year's Eve party here. The service guys were great: nice, cheerful and quick. Apart from the boss, who got into a bad mood later in the day and was just annoyed by the guests. The food was quite good except for the dessert. I was expecting an Italian dessert. It would also have been helpful if you had been warned in advance that there would be fish and meat (instead of or as stated on the menu) on a plate, as we had a severe allergy sufferer at the table. We had asked specifically beforehand. Furthermore, someone was unavailable due to illness, which is why I asked for the menu to be taken with me. I was told everything would be packed up, but it wasn't. There wasn't even half of it. Especially if crispbread is packed, you should pack it separately so that it doesn't get soggy. We were also lied to about the drinks, which were totally adulterated. Other guests also confirmed this. And then suddenly there was no more schnapps despite being all inclusive. And for the price, that's not possible. The party atmosphere was good and the DJs were great. Unfortunately, at midnight there was total chaos: no common countdown, it was overcrowded and champagne didn't seem to be enough. Conclusion: We won't be coming back. They earned enough from us and unfortunately that wasn't justified.

Delicious food, perfect size children's plates, extremely friendly service, a bit chilly on this winter day. Recommended!

Cozy atmosphere, waiters are very friendly. Unfortunately it's a bit cold in the rooms at the end of November, when the outside temperature in the evening is only 1 degree. If it had been a little warmer, we would definitely have had a second drink. Food was very good, pizza was delicious, well topped and nice and big. Pasta dish wasn't that filling. My husband, not a big eater, couldn't get enough of the noodles. The pasta dishes are probably women's dishes. But he could eat some of my pizza.

Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very accommodating staff. I was a guest alone and we received a very loving welcome. The food was very good and fresh!

Like the rustic charm of the decor. The chef puts a lot of effort into presenting all the dishes with a certain sophistication. Staff also respond to special requests, such as extra cold red wine. The boss is also a real original. Thank you and see you soon.

Looking, as always in our case, for a well-rated Italian restaurant, we came here for dinner today. On our way home from Berlin, we chose this place based on good reviews. This choice is a 10-shot! Delicious food, exceptionally nice service, waiters 11/10. Customer approach, politeness, humor, everything. Additionally, ultra tasty dishes at decent prices. And a treat for me, the owner is a Juventus fan, I couldn't have chosen a better place. On the occasion of my next visit to Berlin, I will go again blindly. I recommend it to every fan of Italian cuisine and anyone who wants to experience perfect service! Fino alla fine, Forza Juve 😎🖐🏻

Yesterday we had dinner at the trattoria. My daughter ordered "Focaccia Dello Chef" as a starter, which is pizza bread with toppings. She was given a large dinner plate with thin dough that had nothing in common with focaccia. The menu said pizza bread, which you can't imagine much about. This huge plate was far too big as an appetizer. Half a pizza loaf would have been more than enough. As a main course I had “Salmone alla Siciliana”. The salmon fillet was delicious and the spaghetti would have been too if it hadn't been for the many olives in it. The sauce on the salmon fillet had separated. The fat floated to the top and was too salty and too greasy. The pasta without olives would definitely have been tastier. On the other hand, my grandson was enthusiastic about the garlic soup. The antipasto starter plate was good, but the rolls of bacon topped everything. What was that? Saltimbocca and the salmon fillet with herbs were delicious to the rest of my family. The panna cotta and tiramisu were a nice ending.

Super delicious Italian cuisine including a first-class cappuccino & espresso.

After a day of sightseeing in Berlin we went here for dinner. You can sit outside. Nicely furnished, but right on a busy street with an intersection and traffic lights. Nice staff. Prices for the outskirts of Berlin are still somewhat OK, but what else is cheap these days?? Free parking around the corner. Nothing is available directly at the restaurant.

Nice ambience but very poor service. Despite reservations, they didn't immediately know where to sit us. It took almost half an hour to get the drinks, and some of them were brought out incorrectly. The meal was served relatively promptly, but the children's dishes were not brought first despite requests. The food itself was good and reasonably priced.

The restaurant makes a rustic impression but the food was really tasty. The service was also very nice and attentive. The price-performance ratio is appropriate for the portions. We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much

Four of us in the evening, waited 5 minutes for drinks--within 2 hours also the first, only and last time we were asked 🤨--eat 1 hour wait with subterranean quality not worth the money! As soon as both were on the table we were disrespected, no one asked us about anything, we even had to "pay attention" to the bill. Conclusion: There seems to be no need for sales, customer service and satisfaction here. Never again!

Rustic atmosphere with a range of dishes that goes beyond the usual food at an Italian restaurant. Very delicious. I ate pasta with chicken and pesto, my wife ate pasta with baked plums. Both definitely recommended. Brucchetta was also tasty.

The food was very tasty. The typically Italian waiters served carefully, quickly and courteously.

We were there at Christmas and were thrilled, then again today. The food was excellent, well seasoned and well cooked. The service is unobtrusive, courteous and competent. Difficult: Choosing the dishes because the menu and daily menu is interesting and seasonal. Bon appetit!

We were really looking forward to this evening, unfortunately restaurateurs always take the risk of completely overbooking their restaurant, so that under these staffing conditions the quality of the food and the service are currently sinking to a very low level. Using the example of a tasteless Vitello Tonato ( the anchovies should be pureed in the sauce and not put on the plate) as well as a pizza (the base tasted like a pancake and the so-called Italian ham was cut so thick that the mouthfeel was just sad) I don't want to comment further on that Price/performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired.

Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war sehr lecker, der Pizzateig für mein Empfinden, in Geschmack und Konsistenz optimal. Das ganze war schön belegt. Es war leider sehr voll, was aber wohl für die Qualität spricht😉

Die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend, haben sich liebevoll und nett gekümmert. Das Essen war auch vorzüglich und war ausreichend um satt zu werden aber nicht zu voll zu sein. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Pizza Toscana was good but bit sour. Vellutata di Pomodori is a bit more sour. The ambiance was really good, with great music.

Typische Pizzeria mit guter Küche, monatlich wechselnder Karte zusätzlich zu den Standards mit etwas ausgefallenen Kreationen. Die Preise finde ich für die Qualität der Gerichte und die Größe der Portionen mehr als angemessen.

I really liked the place. The people who work there are nice, although some are really, really friendly, which might make some people uncomfortable. The food is delicious, and I had a glass of amaretto, which was great. I sat outside in the sun, but it can be a bit noisy because the outdoor area is right next to the street. The prices are fair. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathrooms could be cleaner. I'll definitely go back there in the future.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant. Das Besondere sind die ungewöhnlichen Rezepte. Heute haben wir Teigtaschen mit Maronen, Füllung und Steinpilzen gehabt, was sehr lecker war. es gibt die Standards der italienischen Küche, aber immer wieder auch außergewöhnliche Gerichte. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und familiäres Ambiente. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Wir gehen da regelmäßig hin.

wirklich top! Wir hatten als Berliner etwas Angst, dass es eine reine Touristenbude ist. Zum Glück ist das nicht der Fall. Wir haben uns sehr über den tollen Service und das tolle Essen gefreut. Die Preise sind angemessen. Wir werden uns garantiert bald wieder sehen.

Echt krass lecker. Tolles Ambiente, für eine kurze Zeit fühlte ich mich wie im Urlaub. Karte überschaubar, sodass die Auswahl nicht ganz so schwer fiel. Völlig ausreichend. Es gab gratis Oliven und Brot dazu. Hinterher gab es noch einen amaretto.

Super mega lecker. Egal was wir bestellen, alles schmeckt bombastisch lecker. Für mich mit der beste Italiener im Norden Berlins. Preislich Standard Niveau. Gute Auswahl und regelmäßig wechselnde Koch Empfehlungen. Parkplatz Mangelware, aber es gibt Nebenstraßen.

Sehr gutes Essen, super Service und das alles zu einem angemessenen Preis. Der Außenbereich ist schön, wenn auch leider etwas laut durch die Straße. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Vorspeise, eine Platte für 2 Personen war okay. Dummerweise bestellte ich mir für 29 € ein Kalbschnitzel,Spargel und Kartoffeln. Dummerweise, weil beim Italiener, andererseits dachte ich,wenn es auf der Karte steht,dann kann es auch der Koch... Schlimmer Denkfehler! Das Schnitzel war kalt,trocken und bretthart. Unter dem Schnitzel verbargen sich 4 Stangen Spargel und 3 Kartoffeln. Nachdem ich die eklige Hollondaise weggekratzt hatte,aß ich als einziges die 4 Stangen Spargel. Habe noch nie 30 € für so einen Dreck ausgegeben. Zu allem Überfluss war wohl die Bedienung mit dem falschen Fuß aufgestanden und vergiftete mit seinen Blicken das Ambiente... Das war es dann wohl Trattoria Toscana!

!!!Authentischer Italiener!!! Die Unscheinbarkeit des Restaurants spiegelt nicht die Küche wieder. Überragende Gerichte, große Portionen und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich dort

Das Essen war auf dem Punkt!! Das Ambiente gemütlich und einladend. Das Personal sehr freundlich witzig aufmerksam und vorallem kompetent Preis Leistung stimmt!

Ich war sehr überrascht über die nette Bedienung und auch das schmackhafte Essen. Es war sehr voll und etwas eng. Aber das war auch wegen dem Wochenende geschuldet.

Richtig leckeres Essen. Super nette und engagierte Bedienung. Trotz des regen Verkehrs an der Hauptstraße hatten wir eine gute Zeit in angenehmer italienischer Atmosphäre. Update: Heute ganz spontan am Frauentag Tisch reserviert. Das war auch nötig. Alle Tische belegt. Es war wieder eine super Idee: tolles Essen, nette Bedienung. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Gerne wieder
