Machiavelli Gatow in Berlin

We last stayed here on Valentine's Day 2025 and it was fully booked. The poor waiter greeted us with the words that a colleague had signed out and he was now alone in the service, for which he wanted to apologize in advance. The chef always helped with serving the dishes. However, we can only rate the service with 3☆☆☆, because even though there was a lot to do, a better overview for me as a guest would have been great (drink bottles without glasses were used, food was served after cutlery, we had to ask. The dishes were good, some of the pasta dishes were very generous - probably to justify the Oreis. In my opinion, 20% less on the plate would be justifiable for the same price. But what doesn't work: A bottle of red wine for €69 was ordered at the next table and it was then taken from the wall shelf behind the guests. Stored upright and clearly too warm! But we will come by again and be happy to be positively surprised by the service.

I can recommend this restaurant. Special requests are accepted. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are perfectly fine.

The food and service are great and I can only recommend it.

This is a very great Italian restaurant. The boss of the house and his employees enjoy their work and are very attentive. We like to go there.

The checkout was already closed and the store was basically closed. Nevertheless, we received a very friendly welcome. We were the only guests at this late hour, but the entire menu was still available to us. My companion and I had a great evening and also had a nice conversation with the friendly staff.

Big praise to the kitchen and the service team! We were able to be there for a big birthday on the weekend. The food was wonderful and varied in composition. Everything was delicious and very well prepared. There were 35 of us guests and everyone got their food on the table almost at the same time. Top! The meat/fish was tender and served with delicious side dishes. We were well looked after and would like to send a big thank you to the whole team and the host!

Just celebrated our 50th there. Great service all the time. Italian appetizer platter was great and extremely tasty. Main course sea bream in white wine herb sauce and beef fillet also delicious. Great Italian dessert platter. Children had very tasty pizzas. Great guys. Very observant and careful.

Rediscovered after a long time! After many years a new owner. Exceeded memory many times over. Wonderful tasty food! The service was attentive, nice and friendly! A tasteful ambience. The family celebration was a hit. General positive statement!

Good Italian, the dishes are very tasty, service ok

Great location for eating outdoors, as there is also shade at lunchtime👍. As a group of 15, we found everything really tasty and it was on everyone's table for less than 15 minutes✨ Our conditions were also very nice and you could have a good chat 😄 Even if the kids got a little cheeky😅, well ice cream is just popular.

Nicely located on the edge of the forest, nice outdoor area and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, the pasta, which according to the menu is tossed in a cheese wheel at the table, was only served like that - without a show. The high price was not justified.

What do you say: reserve a table by email 1 month before the certificate is issued and then you have the summer holidays. No entry with changes on Google either. That was really disappointing, also because we were rushing all over the city. The alternative in Kladow am Hafen was excellent and a great replacement

So far everything on the menu has been excellent, incredibly friendly staff and now especially lovely to sit in the garden. But it's also nice and cozy inside.

There is a large selection, vegan, vegetarian, fish, meat. We've been there several times and every single dish so far has been excellent. Friendly and quick service, a lovingly designed outdoor terrace. Absolute recommendation!

I can only agree with the good reviews, everything is just right! Excellent truffle pasta, super tasty potato salad with the very well prepared schnitzel, tender Venetian liver and hefeweizen on tap. All of this in a really cozy atmosphere and great service too, we'll definitely be back!

I think it's the best Italian restaurant in the region, away from the mainstream with dishes that stand out from the run-of-the-mill menu of many other restaurants. One of the few restaurants where I have never been disappointed.

Cozy pizzeria with a family atmosphere in a remote location. The pizzas were of good quality and size, although the edges were two fingers wide. The wish for an extra spicy Pizza Diavolo was perfectly fulfilled. The feta was missing from the “Feta and Broccoli” pizza, but was promptly refilled after being informed. But we found the one-hour waiting time with the guest room half-occupied less than acceptable. Suspected reason: At least 3 large thermal boxes left the restaurant by messenger during this time. If you make your guests wait an outrageously long time because of the delivery service, you won't get anything better than three stars from me when it comes to "service". So: bring enough time and patience and it will be a nice meal.

Very nice, somewhat old-fashioned restaurant with an Italian atmosphere. Very attentive staff that takes care of the guest quickly. Unfortunately, the food was not served lovingly, although it tasted great, very good. Hence my strictness: only 4 stars. But it is still recommended. There is quiet live music here, including old Italian songs.

Wir hatten am 29.10.23 eine Familienfeier. Wir waren 35 Erwachsene und 12 Kinder. Es war solch eine gelungene Feier. Im Vorfeld hatten wir ein tolles Gespräch mit dem Chef. Unsere Wünsche in Sachen Essen wurden mit uns besprochen, des weiteren die Anordnung der Tische. Envre hatte an alles gedacht. Die Kinder wurden besonders berücksichtigt. Wir entschieden uns für eine Antipastivorspeise, für 3 Hauptgerichte (Fisch, Fleisch und eine vegetarische Variante und eine phantastische Nachspeise. Hervorzuheben war die Pasta mit Trüffeln, die in einer tollen Zeremonie vor unseren Augen bereitet wurde. Ein Kind durfte im großen Parmesankäse den Parmesan herauskratzen, in der die frisch zubereiteten, selbstgemachten Nudeln gewendet wurden. Zum Schluss durfte das Kind die Nudeln flambieren. Was für eine Show. Es war ein richtiges highlight. Die Kinder bekamen Pizza und Pasta. Das Essen war so hervorragend lecker und so toll auf den Tellern präsentiert. Alles wurde heiß serviert. Die Antipastiplatten und die Nachspeisen waren eine Augenweide und schmeckten wunderbar. Jeder unserer erwachsenen Gäste war begeistert. Die Kleinen, im Alter von 3- 7 Jahre, wurden so wunderbar umsorgt und beachtet. Sie saßen an einen Kindertisch, wurden ernst genommen und verwöhnt. Wir durften für die Kleinen eine Spiel- und Bastelecke herrichten, was wir sehr zuvorkommend fanden. So waren die Kleinen wunderbar beschäftigt, nachdem sie mit großem Appetit die wirklich leckeren Pizzen, Pasta und das Eis verspeist hatten. Besonders lecker und liebevoll dekoriert war die hausgemachte Limonade für die Kleinen. Herzlichen Dank, liebes Machiavelli Team für die tolle Bewirtung von groß und klein. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Der Service war so toll und alle waren aufmerksam und freundlich, egal ob groß oder klein. Es war ein rundum gelungenes Fest. Liebe Dank für das tolle Engagement. Das Ambiente war perfekt.

Heute das erste Mal dort und ich muss sagen, die Pizza die ich hatte war super und die Freunde die dabei waren hatten auch nichts zu beanstanden. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Ungewöhnlich für einen Italiener ist das Angebot eines Kaiserschmarrns der allerdings sehr, sehr gut war. Der Chef ist mega freundlich und Italiener was für ein italienisches Restaurant selbstverständlich sein sollte. Ich wünschte, ich wäre nochmal 20 als ich die junge, hübsche, italienische Bedienung gesehen habe. Hahaha. Ich gehe da wieder hin. Grazie mille è stato davvero bello a casa tua. Stefano

Kleines süßes Restaurant Schöne Lage

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und ich bin sehr begeistert- ruhig gelegen, nahe am Wasser für einen Spaziergang danach. Das Essen war super lecker, endlich mal ein paar andere Gerichte und Variationen bei Pasta und Pizza. Service war klasse, gerne wieder!

Ein italienisches Restaurant mit einem schönen Außenbereich. Wir wurden sehr gut bedient und die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker. Egal ob Pizza, Pasta oder Fleisch - wir alle waren sehr zufrieden. Auch die Desserts sind empfehlenswert. Und der Affogato al Cafe war der beste, den ich je getrunken habe.

Super Essen, super nette Bedienung

Wir waren am Donnerstag zur Mittagszeit im Machiavelli. Wir wurden überaus freundlich begrüßt. Die Kalbsleber im Menü war sowas von lecker. Das Kalbsschnitzel mit Spargel kann man nur empfehlen. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Wir werden garantiert wieder vorbeischauen.Vielen Dank an die nette Bedienung vom 20.4.2023.
