Trattoria San Benno in München

The food was very good (pizza and pasta), but without asking we were assigned a table directly in front of a huge screen during a football game and opposite the pizza oven without being asked whether the place was okay for us. It was uncomfortably warm and there was also a loud clatter from the espresso machine. There would have been other tables available. Although the waiter noticed that we weren't comfortable with the seat, the waiter made no move to give us another table. It's a shame, so unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant evening!

It's nice to be able to stop while walking along the Würm in Gauting and enjoy this restaurant to refresh yourself and rest in the shade.

I ate a risotto and drank a Hugo and everything was perfect 😊

Favorite Italian in Munich! The pizza is crispy, the drinks are deliciously mixed (Rosato Spritz ♥️) and the penne arrabiata is perfectly spicy. Always happy to come back. The outside area is large and beautiful.

We went for dinner, we arrived at 9:40pm, it seemed like they were in a hurry even though they closed at 11pm, average food, nice atmosphere, we spent 40 euros for 2 beers and a drink

Truly our favorite Italian. Service is so on point! The menu changes constantly so there is always something new to try. Seasonally coordinated and beautifully presented. We went through the menu (except for the meat) and were never wrong. So it's an absolute tip. The location is nice too! Price/performance is absolutely ok considering the service and ambience. Absolutely great inside and out. We are happy every time!

Italian-run pizza restaurant. The cuisine varies from traditional appetizers, first and second courses with a blackboard also offering off-menu items based on the season. I recommend the pizza, really good with excellent dough and well stuffed. Average prices for Munich I recommend it for anyone who is around this neighborhood.

Highly recommended Italian restaurant with a great ambience in the dining room. Delicious and beautifully prepared dishes. Unfortunately there are only a few meat dishes on the menu. Advance reservation is recommended as it is very busy, especially in the evening.

We were in this restaurant for the first time. The occasion was a birthday party. And we were totally thrilled 🤩 Very friendly hospitality with excellent food. Even the fish 🐟 was professionally cut up on site. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. We'll definitely be back soon 🤗

Great place, super delicious food and friendly and brisk service! Every little thing is considered, for example there is cell phone shelves and mirrors in the cabins on the women's toilets, which is simply the icing on the cake! Relaxed service, good food and the wine selection is also good. You won't find anything out of the ordinary here, but you will find down-to-earth, good Italian cuisine with a little something extra. Prices match the quality.

Nice place, waiter was efficient. But Spaghetti alla Mariana was under seasoned and although I did see a slice of garlic it tasted like there wasn't enough. Portions not big.

Great kitchen performance and service

Pizzas (cannolo and scampi) come from Holzhofrn and were very tasty, unfortunately there were only 4 scampis on them, which didn't taste very fresh (frozen) - service was quick but also a bit hectic and attentive until we showed a voucher.

Exzellentes italienisches Essen.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und es hat allen fünf von uns sehr geschmeckt. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen, zwei mal Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten und das Rigatoni al Forno, auf Wunsch mit Rind statt Schwein. Alles was sehr lecker und frisch. Auch die hausgemachte mouse au chocolat und die Panna Cotta waren wirklich lecker und die Krönung des Abends. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr hübsch und der Service aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Excellent place for Italian in Munich. I had the pizza for lunch and it was very good. They had a complimentary soup with lunch as well which was nice on a cold day.

Wir waren Mittags, es gab auch ein Mittagsmenü zu fairem Preis. Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Wir hatten Pizza und Pasta. Panna Cotta auch sehr gut und natürlich der Espresso 👍🏻 Ein außergewöhnlich guter Italiener. Der Service war professionell, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente hat uns auch sehr angesprochen, also eine klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren heute zu dritt das erste Mal in der Trattoria San Benno. Das Mittagessen (Fisch, Pizza und Nudeln) schmeckte uns allen vorzüglich und auch der Nachtisch war sehr lecker. Der Service war so wie es sein sollte (freundlich und aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich). Auch das Ambiente empfanden wir als angenehm. Fazit: Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Trotz günstiger Lage an einer Straßenkreuzung saßen wir jedoch abgeschirmt vom Verkehr auf der Terasse. Service war aufmerksam und schnell, die servierten Gerichte lecker zubereitet und kamen heiß an den Tisch. Portionsgröße ausreichend.
