I had lunch there with my friend and loved it. The restaurant exudes a warm and stylish atmosphere that invites you to linger. The dishes were not only delicious, but also reasonably priced for a city as expensive as Munich. The service was first class, attentive and fulfilled all my wishes with a smile. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Seeing the positive reviews, we decided to have dinner there one day before New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless and bland, and the service was pathetic. There were two waiters, and it was clear they disliked their job—at least that’s how it appeared to us. It felt like they were being forced to work. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

We were nearby and wanted to reserve online using Maps, unfortunately there was nothing left available. We then called there and were able to reserve a table for 4 people. So we went there. The entrance area is a bit narrow, but after a short time we were shown to our table. The restaurant was well filled and there were always guests waiting for free tables. The waiters were all very friendly and the cards were needed. There are starters, soups, main courses, desserts, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, beers, pilsners, wines, coffee specialties and spirits. The drinks are needed quickly. The food is brought promptly and served hot. The portions are appropriate, as is the price-performance ratio. The food tastes very good. Even though the restaurant was full, it wasn't noisy, which is very pleasant. The atmosphere is appropriate, we felt very comfortable. The entrance is almost barrier-free with two small steps, and wheelchairs and strollers can also easily enter the restaurant. Reservation is recommended.

My wife, adult son and I ate here twice during a weeklong visit. Our waiter Manuel was welcoming and informative. The food was excellent both times. If we lived near by we would certainly eat here often.

Nice service and nice ambience, a bit noisy at peak times if you sit in the middle, pasta is good but quite small, great daily menu.

We are now regular guests at the restaurant. The dishes consist of high-quality ingredients, even the “little things” such as unblackened olives. Everything is freshly cooked. The service is very friendly and excellent. The service manager Massimo welcomes us personally and has a highly motivated team. Everyone is very friendly with each other. Of course, this is also passed on to the guest and we really enjoy eating there, usually as a group of four. Our favorite dishes are various pizzas. Have also tried other main courses - also excellent. The side salad as a starter is always crisp and fresh with a great dressing. The tiramisu as a dessert is also worth recommending. Keep it up!

Ambiance, food and service are excellent. The profit margin on the wine list is remarkable. I would replace the knives with sharper ones, but the Pinsa stone plates might suffer.

Five of us were there on Sunday lunchtime. Here is the best staff in Munich. Food was very tasty, atmosphere is great, restaurant looks very good. It was our first time at San Benno but definitely not the last time. Kind regards from Sendling

We were a group of 9 people and spent a lovely evening there. The food was great, whether it was pizza, pasta or dessert, everyone was happy. Price-performance is really more than fair. We'll be back.

There were four of us with two children. Atmosphere super relaxed, furnishings and details very chic, service relaxed, friendly and attentive, food delicious and prepared quickly. What more could you want?

Friendly and tactful staff, good food and reasonable portions (woman), the meat was grilled really well and the coffee was also enjoyable. What was particularly noticeable was the wide range of choices, including many vegetarian dishes and sessional cuisine

The waitresses were super friendly, always there right away and orders arrived very quickly despite the large group. The bruscetta was incredibly tasty, the penne Bolognese was a bit bland, but it was a matter of taste! Parking situation is very difficult

Four of us were there on Saturday evening. We really liked it, the dishes were good, as was the service and ambience. Gladly again.

The atmosphere is very nice, but the prices and portions are a bit disproportionate. The food is good but not exceptional.

This is my go-to place for dining anywhere in this area, it's simply great every time. I like their pizza very much, their special weekly items and their deserts. I like that the drinks are served properly and their large selection of wines also. Also, I have to admit that it's definitely a fair value when it comes to the prices. The atmosphere is very nice, the terrace has a warm and welcoming ambiance in the summer, while the interior is tastefully designed and quite cozy during autumn/winter. Likewise, the service is good too. The waiters are generally more friendly than you'd expect in Munich and they do their job well. Since I live close by, I'm very glad this place exists. It's somehow both excellent and unpretentious, which I personally really appreciate.

I love the pizza in San Benno. It's not overpriced and really tasty. I order home very often, but even when I eat there, I am always extremely satisfied with the service. Great quality and a very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Three off us had seafood and one had a pizza. I had a Primitvo wine and my friends had beer and wine with there meals. It was super good. I got a combo fish meal and everything was cooked perfect. Our waiter, Christian was very friendly and funny as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and him as your waiter. Super fun night for last night in Munich. My new go to restaurant when I visit Munich. Great food that doesn't break the bank. Menu is on the website.

Due to a stay at the heart center (about 500 meters away on foot) we ate there. It was really delicious, very nice service, very attentive and accommodating. Both pizza and salads are really good. Price/performance is completely okay - we had expected a lot more on the bill. The various oils you get are particularly delicious - definitely try them! We will definitely eat there again during our stays in Munich.

The pizzas are large, thin with crispy edges. Richly topped with fresh ingredients. The salad was also fresh and not ready-made. Everything tasted very excellent. That's why I treated myself to a dessert, which I'm happy to spend money on. Although the prices are reasonable and not excessive.

Been there for the first time. Ordered spaghetti carbonara (I thought not much could go wrong, it always tastes good)… Wrong thought. Unfortunately, the taste is a 0 out of 10. Unfortunately, the spaghetti didn't taste like anything, even when I added pepper. Very unfortunate. Otherwise nice shop and the service was good, but that's not the main reason you go to a restaurant..

Delicious and courteous service We enjoyed being guests here. As a larger group, we had a reserved area, although there was a major misunderstanding. The dishes are highly recommended. You can't make corkage money here. The service always had a good look! Thank you very much! Unfortunately, it is very loud in the restaurant when it is full.

A lovely little find, Roberto was absolutely amazing and really looked after us whilst we were here. It is by far one of the best Carbonara’s I have ever eaten! Highly recommend and if I am back in Munich I will be sure to pay this little gem of a restaurant a visit. My friend had spaghetti bolognaise and said how very flavoursome it was. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the visit a pleasure every time. Good food but nothing out of this world. The place is nice and very quiet, very confortable. But service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter, Cristian, made jokes when I asked to be moved inside because of wasps (I’m allergic), saying “no, what to drink?” not once but two times until finally moving us inside the restaurant. When he came back to order food, he made another joke about wasps. And when he brought the food he didn’t even look us in the eye. Also he kept on talking in German when he knew we didn’t understand it (and he was able to speak English). After all he had the nerve to ask for a tip.

Were here for the first time today as we are currently in Munich for an appointment. We were very satisfied with the ambience, service and food. Kelner was super friendly and joked. After ordering, the food came to the table within 10 minutes. We had pizza Napoli and Calaprese with mixed salad and 2 draft beers 0.5l. Everything was priced right and we had to pay a total of €42.50. The price is really reasonable for Munich. You don't feel rushed. We were also served various oils, e.g. Garlic, chilli and herb oil which was very tasty. If it weren't so far away from Hesse, I would definitely come here more often.

I had a very pleasant lunch here with my guests. The service was very flexible since we arrived early and very friendly. The terrace outside is very pleasant and cozy, the lunch menus are very reasonably priced, taste good and there is a wide selection - and of course also a la carte. I only found the starter salad not very Italian (carrots?) and a little too little dressing for my taste.

The food was mediocre but didn't taste good. The pizza was already cold when it was served. It was only sparsely topped and very dry, so that the dull knife didn't do any good. The other dishes weren't much better either. Maybe it was because they were lunch dishes? The menu price would be quite good if the food was ok, but the normal dishes had rather high prices. The waiters had the decidedly “know-it-all” manner of Italian waiters. You can like it, I don't like it.

The waiters, despite their initially reserved nature, eventually become incredibly likeable once you get to know them better. The food is excellent and the prices (for Munich) are definitely justified. Only the carpaccio was a bit small. The pizzas are more than big enough for that. Not amazing food, but definitely a fun night.

The food was very good (pizza and pasta), but without asking we were assigned a table directly in front of a huge screen during a football game and opposite the pizza oven without being asked whether the place was okay for us. It was uncomfortably warm and there was also a loud clatter from the espresso machine. There would have been other tables available. Although the waiter noticed that we weren't comfortable with the seat, the waiter made no move to give us another table. It's a shame, so unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant evening!

What can I say? Anyway, I'll keep it short. Super delicious!!! Full marks, everything was done right!

It's nice to be able to stop while walking along the Würm in Gauting and enjoy this restaurant to refresh yourself and rest in the shade.

I ate a risotto and drank a Hugo and everything was perfect 😊

Favorite Italian in Munich! The pizza is crispy, the drinks are deliciously mixed (Rosato Spritz ♥️) and the penne arrabiata is perfectly spicy. Always happy to come back. The outside area is large and beautiful.

We went for dinner, we arrived at 9:40pm, it seemed like they were in a hurry even though they closed at 11pm, average food, nice atmosphere, we spent 40 euros for 2 beers and a drink

Truly our favorite Italian. Service is so on point! The menu changes constantly so there is always something new to try. Seasonally coordinated and beautifully presented. We went through the menu (except for the meat) and were never wrong. So it's an absolute tip. The location is nice too! Price/performance is absolutely ok considering the service and ambience. Absolutely great inside and out. We are happy every time!

Italian-run pizza restaurant. The cuisine varies from traditional appetizers, first and second courses with a blackboard also offering off-menu items based on the season. I recommend the pizza, really good with excellent dough and well stuffed. Average prices for Munich I recommend it for anyone who is around this neighborhood.
