Update Now under new management. Authentic Indian cuisine. All dishes are freshly prepared. The spiciness level of your meal is determined before you order. The naan bread is simply delicious. This was our first time at the trattoria. The ambiance is rustic without much decoration. The service was very attentive and the pizza was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy. The farewell was very warm. We'll gladly come again.

It quickly became my favorite restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent service, fantastic selection, and of course, very good food!!

The food is absolutely delicious; we've been there twice now. The service is super friendly, and they should advertise more so that many others can discover its wonderful atmosphere.

I ordered from the restaurant today (mixed grill, chicken saag, and peshawari naan) and wrote in the order: "Please make it extra delicious – my husband is sick." 🥺 And what can I say? The food was not only incredibly delicious, but the staff were also so attentive and warm! ❤️ They even sent us complimentary bhatura bread with dip and a soup – just like that! This gesture really touched me. The food was fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and you could really tell it was prepared with love. A huge thank you to the entire team! You rarely find such friendliness and quality. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely order again! 🙏🍛

A truly fantastic Indian restaurant! The food is bursting with flavor; you can immediately tell that it's cooked with love and that the quality of the food, as well as customer satisfaction, are their top priorities. It's not some fancy, pretentious restaurant that only tries to look good on the outside! The decor has a classic charm that creates a really pleasant atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome and can enjoy your meal in peace. The service is incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back.

The name is very confusing, as the owners are Indian. Therefore, you're better off enjoying the Indian food, which I found to be very good. Unfortunately, the "simple" decor of the previous owner hasn't changed much. There's definitely room for improvement. The value for money is very good. The staff is attentive and very friendly. A great Indian restaurant, which perhaps should limit itself to just that.

It was my first time eating Indian food, and I really enjoyed it. Friendly and attentive owners. The ambiance is from the previous owner and unfortunately not authentic, but that doesn't really bother me. The bill for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 dessert, 2 Cokes, and 2 sparkling waters was under €60, which is OK value for money. I'll definitely be back 👍🏻

Very delicious Indian food. The rice was prepared with various spices, the sauces and dips were very tasty, and the meat (chicken breast) was tender and juicy. The restaurant owners and waitresses were very friendly and accommodating, with excellent German language skills. After learning by chance that there is now an Indian restaurant there, I have been there twice and will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend the Indian food. Unfortunately, it still looks like it did under the previous Italian owner, who didn't have a good reputation in Wanne-Eickel (and rightly so). I hope the owners can establish themselves and that we can continue to enjoy delicious Indian food in Wanne-Eickel for many years to come.

It's so damn delicious there, they should advertise more and in a different way so other people know how well they cook! It's really good, and the atmosphere is top-notch, and the delivery is top-notch. We'll be back!

Ordered for the first time since the change of ownership, and unfortunately, also the last time. Absolutely not recommended. The pizza was rock hard, with hardly any cheese even though I ordered double the cheese. The salad consisted only of pieces of the stem and a few thick slices of cucumber slapped on top. On the plus side, the dressing was served separately. The pasta doesn't need to be mentioned; it's not worth it. I always wonder how you can make a Bolognese sauce from 10g of minced meat. I was quite surprised when I got the giant menu in my mailbox. Who on earth sells fish fingers in Italy? Offering all that can't work. It's a shame.

Rely on what you know...Indian food. You can have 2-5 other dishes...but no more. Above all, it's possible to make everything fresh. Otherwise, you'll end up at the level of a snack bar. P.S. The Indian food was great. See you soon...

New owners. It looks Indian. Not Italian. The food was more like a snack bar. Not bad, but nothing outstanding.

The food is delicious, but the service is abysmal. It took almost an hour and a half for a currywurst with fries, pizza rolls, chicken wings, and what was essentially two Cokes. The Cokes took a total of three hours to arrive, and the rest of the food took an hour and a half.

The pizzas are delicious. Watching the owner prepare them always increases my anticipation of a delicious meal. The owners are very friendly.

New, friendly owners with a diverse menu. I recommend the authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes are adapted to European palates and therefore not as spicy, but taste very authentic and are prepared traditionally! My tip: Just try REAL Indian food.

This evening, after a long time, I treated myself to a visit to Pizzeria Italia 🇨🇮 and I have to say, I really don't regret it. From the first moment I felt at home here again. It is a typical Italian restaurant and how could it be otherwise, with a wonderful family atmosphere. The pizza "Italia" 🥘 as a dish was extremely tasty, with many ingredients, simply wonderfully prepared. Molto bene 👌 The red one 🍷 well, it just worked, but the host can't do that. I would be very happy to come back and can recommend it with a clear conscience. Kind regards 🙋🏼‍♂️

Lovingly family-run pizzeria. Hardly any conventional products, everything handmade. Good price-performance ratio. The ambience partly has the charm of a traditional former Ruhr area pub. Depending on the season, a small outdoor terrace is available. The restaurant is accessible to disabled people.

Italiener mit Ruhrpott-Flair > gut besucht; zumindest im Außenbereich Reservierung empfehlenswert + freundlicher, humorvoller Service + Pizzen gut belegt + schwarze Oliven geschmackvoll und nicht hart + große Softdrinks in 1l Flaschen Abzüge, weil ... - Pizzateig und vor allem Pizzabrötchen etwas härter - laminierte Speisekarten zum Teil etwas schmierig - ungemütlicher Biergarten (Holztische und einige Stühle kaputt; keine Sitzauflagen; durch die direkte Lage an der Straße und Kreuzung mit Ampel immer wieder etwas lauter)

Waren dort sehr lecker Pizza essen. Für die Zukunft würde ich mir die Möglichkeit der Kartenzahlung wünschen.

Meine Lieblingspizzeria. Was soll man sagen, viele Pizzerien ausprobiert und die hier ist vom Essen und des Umgangs der Familie einfach Top.

Super Bedienung, lecker Essen. Man versteht es Originale Italienische Gerichte zu machen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Neulich waren wir das erste Mal dort. Wir waren sehr begeistert vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, der leckeren Pizza und vor allem von der Freundlichkeit der Chefin. Wir waren mit drei Kleinkindern dort, die am Ende noch einen leckeren Eisbecher aufs Haus bekommen haben. Ein sehr schöner Abend. Wir kommen wieder.

Meiner Meinung nach der beste ECHTE Italiener in Wanne-Eickel. Hebt sich deutlich von den anderen Restaurants ab und hier heisst Italiener auch Italiener. Kein Inder etc. Der Italienische Küche anbietet oder gar ein Lokal mit Italienischem Namen hat. Netter Service und Geschmacklich top. Preis/Leistung sind Super! Gerne wieder :)

Es wurde in den anderen Rezesionen schon einiges gelobt was ich auch bestätige. Ich setze meinen Schwerpunkt bei der Pasta. Besonders bei Spaghetti Carbonara und mit Muscheln. Besser hat es mit selbst im "Mutterland" nicht geschmeckt.

Ein tolles Lokal, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, wenn Wetter schön auch draußen gemütlich zu sitzen, besser wenn immer ein Termin vereinbart wird, sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker, besonders die Pizzen und der Salat, dieses Lokal läd zum wohlfühlen ein, da eine super Ambiente. Leute wer noch nicht hier war, jetzt aber los. Eine super Empfehlung von mir.👍 Meine Frau und ich sind sehr gerne hier Gast.
