Trattoria Il Contadino in München

The Trattoria Il Cotidiano is an absolute jewel of Italian cuisine that impresses with its high recognition value. The hospitality is warm and the atmosphere is cozy, making every visit a special experience. The lasagne in particular is a delight - perfectly prepared, with a creamy sauce and lots of flavor. The restaurant impresses with authentic, freshly prepared dishes and is definitely a place you will want to visit again and again. If you love Italian cuisine, you should definitely visit Trattoria Il Cotidiano!

We had reserved, were seated quickly and were then allowed to wait for the card. After we got up the waiter finally came. The starter was quick, the main course took a long time, and you had to find your own drinks. Empty glasses were not cleared away, all glasses had water stains. Unfortunately there was a moldy orange in my speci. After we pointed this out to the waiter, a new one was brought without comment, but it was still on the bill. There was no apology later, unfortunately customer service is not the specialty here. I was just there by chance, but I won't be coming back.

We were actually just looking for something quick to eat here on a Monday at 5 p.m. and found an excellent Italian restaurant that is rare even in Italy: very friendly service, a great greeting from the kitchen in advance, homemade pasta, homemade sourdough bread, everything tastes great, pleasant ambience and very fair prices - we'll be back 😊

Super nice restaurant close to the hotel where I stayed (Albasto Hotel). I was surprised by the good wine list. Good dishes with delicious wines. And I am in favor of the wine being better than the dish. :-) That was a piece of cake with these wines, because Pasque winery never disappoints. The food was very good, large portions. But my attention was mainly on the wine. Pearl of a restaurant in this neighborhood!

Came here with my girlfriend. We ordered pizza and hauswein, both were very tasteful and we enjoyed them. The waiters were very friendly and the atmosphere was also nice!

A cute little restaurant with very good cuisine. You should definitely try pasta day on Wednesdays. Various small pasta dishes are served. All of which tasted excellent. Since the restaurant is relatively small, reservations are recommended. Price performance is fair and in keeping with the good cuisine. All in all, absolutely recommended 😊

Food was good, the pizza tastes good here. However, for prices between 11 and 20 euros (cheapest and most expensive pizza), in my opinion it's too expensive for the location. This is on the outskirts of Munich and costs exactly the same as restaurants in the center. From my point of view, it's not entirely understandable, apparently the rents for restaurateurs are the same everywhere. The order only came after what felt like 45 minutes. At the same time we were told that we only had one hour as the table was reserved. It wasn't a problem to stay longer, so everything was okay. Quality somewhat compensated for the delay. It seems to be normal in Munich's catering industry to wait at least 30 minutes for your order. Unfortunately everything is often very unprofessional.

Super tasty and freshly prepared food, salad crispy and delicately dressed. The dessert, panna cotta, was a dream Always worth repeating. Thank you very much ❤️

A real Italian who pays attention to quality. Pizza with original mozzarella and grated parmesan. And you can taste it too! Family atmosphere like in Italy. Crispy pizza from the stone oven.

We were there for the first time and were absolutely satisfied. The food was magnificent and sumptuous, the greeting from the kitchen and the final amaretto were very nice. The waiting time was also very short. Definitely highly recommended.

We ordered here by chance and I would love to eat it all again. The pizzas had great toppings, tasted world class and the desserts, especially the lava cake, were phenomenal. The lady who delivered to us was super friendly and accommodating and it felt like the food was there after 15 minutes. Absolutely worth the money and would be happy again

I'm lucky enough to be regular Dining at Contadino and I have to say, every time is an exceptional experience. From the moment I first entered the restaurant I felt welcome and cared for. This feeling was confirmed with every visit. The ambience is warm and inviting, with stylish furnishings that create an authentic Italian atmosphere. The candles on the tables and the loving decoration contribute to a relaxed and romantic atmosphere that I enjoy every time. The service is always impeccable. The staff is attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The waiters do a very good job and are always there without seeming intrusive. The Contadino has managed to present traditional Italian cuisine at the highest level. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. KEEP IT UP 👍🏽

I visited this restaurant for the second time. The first time their service was good, they brought small appetizers before the meal and espresso after the meal for free. Unlike the first time, this time they didn't bring anything or offer appetizers or espresso, and there was only one waitress working, who was busy. As a result we received our food late. The surprising thing that I experienced for the first time was that I asked for two extra plates to share the pizzas and I ended up paying almost 6 euros for the two plates that I requested!

It looks very nice from the outside, the ambience is also very nice. Only the food and the staff weren't really great, I was there with my mother, who had recently had stomach surgery, at first she was looked at strangely because we had only ordered a lasagna and bruschetta, and in retrospect she was also very arrogant and not really interested in contacting us. We ordered normal bruschetta with tomatoes and onions, then got the wrong thing with tuna on top, I have a very bad allergy to tuna and when we said it wasn't the right thing, the lady who served us was very annoyed. The lasagne hardly tasted like anything, there was far too much sauce and the leaves weren't completely cooked through. The prices are also way too expensive and if you want an extra plate you have to pay €3 for it. The employee also got on our last nerve with her unfriendly and arrogant manner. You won't see us there a second time.

On Wednesdays you can eat pasta "all you can eat", which means you get lots of small pasta dishes one after the other. All were exceptionally good! I can happily recommend it 👍. The pizzas are also very good. The price is with wine. Friendly and courteous staff.

The restaurant is cozy and familiar (first impression when you enter), I personally think it's wonderful if I'm greeted in Italian, because that gives a completely different atmosphere. The restaurant was overcrowded, so we had to wait a bit. Plus point for the fact that we weren't sent away, but were offered the option of a short wait. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 beers. Due to few service staff, the full house was a challenge for the waiters. With an attentive show of hands, we were able to order. Food came after about 30 minutes, which is great time. Unfortunately, points are deducted for the overwhelmed service staff. We weren't alone with unanswered wishes, the tables on the left and right also had to wait a long time to receive a card or be able to place an order, for example. (Staff: 2 waiters, both of whom were responsible for the bar). The meal was excellent. As a small gift (starter) there was a piece of tomato and mozzarella with small dots of aceto-balsamic cream. Personally, I don't think this "cream" (finished product from the tube) is nice. Then it's better to dose the amount yourself with Olio and Aceto. We thank you for getting a place and would like to come back. Definitely recommended - remember to reserve!

We discovered the pizzeria by chance. The pizzas are large and taste great. The salmon is also very good. The service is friendly and accommodating. The ambience is great. The tables are beautifully set and this is something to be proud of. The only thing that bothers me is that the tables are quite close together. But as already mentioned, it only bothers me and if you want to go out for a nice meal, you can ignore it. The price/performance ratio is exactly the same. That wasn't the last time we were there.

This is how an Italian restaurant should be: the terrace is full, but there is still room for 1 person. Greetings from the kitchen, excellent pasta dishes (for me cacio e pepe) and finally a limoncello. Italian hospitality on the outskirts of Munich. Gladly again, highly recommended!

We went for my son's birthday and were very happy. We had pizza and I can assure you that it was the best I have eaten in Munich so far. The welcoming environment, polite and helpful staff, the owner was very nice to us. We will be back!

Excellent, when we were there there was a “pasta tasting” with different pasta dishes each served on a small plate. They were all very tasty and we would love to come back.

The pizza was really very good, service was also friendly and quick. As a greeting from the kitchen, we were given a small plate of panzanella in advance. Perhaps the only criticism, if there is one, is that the drinks prices (0.33 Afri Cola 5Euros) are too high for the area.

The food doesn't taste good at all. We had seafood pizza and the sauce was too sour. The pasta with tomato sauce didn't taste good. The fish plate was also modest. We do not recommend this restaurant.

The ambience is appealing. The food was also delicious. Prices are adapted to Munich conditions. What annoyed me was that we were charged €1.90 for an empty plate that we requested for the child. But I only found out about this because I asked for an invoice. What is that supposed to mean?!! Can't we mention that?! Would have come again, but not like this.

Wirklich ein tolles Restaurant. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an italienischen Gerichten. Neben den Klassikern wie Pizza und Pasta haben sie auch eine große Wochenkarte mit ausgefallenen Gerichten. Ich war hier schon häufig essen und das Essen war immer traumhaft. Eine kleine Portion Italien im Norden Münchens. :) Besonders empfehlen kann ich die Lachsgerichte sowie die Pizzen. Wenn man noch Platz im Magen hat, sollte man auch unbedingt eine Nachspeise probieren. Das Tiramisu ist sagenhaft.

Man muss die Gourmetpizzen probieren. Sensationell gut!

Nach der Heimkehr aus Italien, Italien schön zu Hause bei "Il Contadino" ausklingen lassen. Super leckeres Essen und Wein bei schönem Ambiente. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Ambiente, Service und Essen sehr gut. Preise leicht gehobene Klasse. Die Pizza Rustica kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, freundliche und bemühte Wirte.

Wir haben gestern kurz vor Schluss (Öffnungszeiten) noch beim Italiener der uns wärmstes Empfohlen wurde vorbei geschaut. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und null gehetzt. Wir haben einen kleinen Gruß von der Küche erhalten vielen Dank dafür danach unsere super leckeren Pizzen. Haben alle 3 durchprobiert und waren hellauf begeistert. Wir hatten Pizza 4 Käse mit Salsiccia, Pizza burrata mit schwarzen Trüffeln, und Pizza Special. Danach gabs noch einen Espresso oder Schnaps aufs Haus, danach waren wir pappsatt und Glücklich bis bald!

Wir gehen sehr gerne und ziemlich oft hier zum Essen… Ich bestelle das Essen auch gerne, wenn ich keinen Zeit zum kochen habe…es schmeckt jedes Mal sehr lecker. Immer frisch gekocht. Kleine Vorspeise kommt immer vom Haus. Alle sind sehr nett, eigentlich mein Lieblingsrestaurant😊

Super Lokal! Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst. Waren schon mehrfach zum Pastatasting (Mittwochs) hier und es schmeckt einfach Mega. Alle 10 Minuten ein kleiner Pastateller so lange bis man Stopp sagt. Die Bilder sagen mehr als Worte denke ich ;)

Calamari ai ferri, mit Kartoffeln und Blumenkohl. Steinharter Blumenkohl, alles völlig ungesalzen. Sorry das hat absolut nichts mit italienischen Essen zu tun.

Ich wurde hierhin eingeladen von einer guten Freundin und werde hier wieder essen gehen, sollte ich wiedermal beruflich in der Nähe bin.

Ich war gerade dort um zu essen hab mich draußen hingesetzt haben ungefähr 20 min gewartet und niemanden kam sind auch dann gegangen schade. Wie das Essen schmeckt weiß ich nicht wahrscheinlich gut.

Eine nette kleine Pizzeria mit lauschigem Biergarten. Dieses Jahr konnten wir den Biergarten noch nicht nutzen, Wetter bedingt. Hier gibt es gute Pizzas auch die restlichen Speisen auf der Karte schmecken immer wieder gut. Personal ist sehr freundlich und es werden auch Extras erfüllt. Aufgrund des begrenzten Platzes wäre eine Reservierung angezeigt. Zu zweit haben wir jedoch immer einen Tisch bekommen, zur Not kann man auch einen Aperitif am Tresen trinken bis ein geeigneter Tisch frei wird. Dies empfiehlt sich allerdings nur für zwei Personen. Ich kann diese Pizzeria nur jedem weiter empfehlen.
