Where is the former Bakali? Was a regular at the former Bakali, one of the authentic Greeks in Munich for me Now the bitter disappointment. When the new owners take over, the question arises: what is it that you find on your plate? At least not the Greek food that used to be served there. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant, at least if you want good Greek cuisine. The service is nice and helpful, but after just 5 minutes we received our food, which was served unimaginatively and without any particular taste. What a shame!!

This restaurant brings a piece of Greece to Munich! Very tasty, tastefully prepared large portions. Loving, cozy atmosphere. Very nice and courteous staff. Very good price-performance ratio. We were really excited and would love to come back.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. The reception was also very accommodating. When we received the food, I noticed that I hadn't gotten everything that was on the menu. On the menu it says you would get rice or vegetables as a side dish (depending on your preference, which I wasn't asked) and fries. When I pointed this out, things went south. The waitress told me, I can't have everything. Confused, I showed her the card again and that it should be included in my meal. She said again I can't wait to get everything. Is behind her boss. Hear you discuss properly. She comes back with a portion of fries and says “It’s on the house.” So sorry. I was polite and friendly the entire time. If the map is no longer correct, it was hardly my fault. Then I ask that they update the map or at least tell me that this is an error in the map. But I want to accuse myself of just wanting more. Incredibly rude! I lost my appetite at that moment. It didn't help that I had much better Greek food in many places. The gyro was very fatty and the calamari didn't really have much flavor. And the vegetables that the meal came with were frozen vegetables (that brokoli-carrot-cauliflower mix that you can find in every supermarket frozen food). I paid, still left a good tip and will never come back!

First of all, the wrong dishes were served ..... then the taste of the dishes wasn't great ..... sorry, that could be better ..... Metaxa sauce was like dead pants ....

I ordered via Lieferando and received the food really quickly from a friendly employee. The quantity of food and the quality were simply amazing. It was so delicious it was definitely worth it!

We've been to Bakali three times now and the experiences are different, the portions are huge (actually impossible). Last time I had the fish plate. Good taste. Unfortunately served on a cold stone platter. Visually great, but unfortunately the whole food quickly got cold. Most recently I had a grill plate. Dead grilled and straw-dried meat. Including three or four pitas, which after a short time were just soggy. Overall, the food is ok and nothing more. There are definitely better Greeks out there.

We ordered from Tou Bakali today. The food was delivered on time. Unfortunately I can only give it 2 stars because we found 2 small worms in the salad. The lettuce was probably not washed properly. The rest of the food (gyros) was above average. Very unfortunate.

Same Same but different.... Bakali was our favorite Greek place for several years, and yesterday we were there again for the first time this year. We noticed the new card straight away, but didn't know that there had been a change of ownership at the beginning of the year. We ordered what we always order No.63 Gyros+Calmar. A portion of tzatziki as a small appetizer. The tzatziki only came after we asked for it and even though there wasn't much going on, it took a long time for the main courses to be served. These were only lukewarm and there was a huge pile of food on the plate. Frozen vegetables, frozen potato slices and the gyros were far from what we were used to. The dosage form also left something to be desired. Our waiter was also quite busy. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were politely asked why we hadn't said it earlier... True !!! But it is questionable whether it would have made a big difference. Finally, just note, quantity rather than quality and it used to be better. Bakali would do well to travel back in time to 2023... ;)

Basic conclusion: the change of operator at the turn of the year turned a great restaurant into one that we will no longer go to. I wanted to celebrate my big birthday there and had reserved a table in the corner a few days in advance. When we arrived we were taken away without comment because of a children's birthday party. Directly in front of the exit to the toilets (we had categorically excluded this exact table when making the reservation, this was simply ignored), next to the kitchen counter. This meant that we heard the constant ringing of the kitchen counter and the hustle and bustle surrounding the delivery of the food that had been ordered externally. We then stayed for dinner, unfortunately a mistake. Except for the starter plates, which were quite good, the main courses with meat were consistently quite tough. No more comparison with the “old” Bakali before the change of operator at the turn of the year. It's a shame, but Verdistraße and the surrounding area offer very good alternatives.

We've eaten there a few times over the last few years and have always been impressed. At the end of February we were very disappointed: the liver from the grill was almost burnt, hard and dry. The gyros were also way too dry, and the potato chips weren't as good for a long time... The ambience was still nice, the service was friendly, but the food was disappointing

This WAS once our regular Greek! After the change of ownership, we were unfortunately very disappointed during our visit. In addition to the unfriendly service and the upwardly adjusted prices, the portion sizes had become smaller and the taste had deteriorated significantly. Comments/complaints about the food were not accepted by the staff and the waitress didn't enjoy her job, which she made us feel. As the icing on the cake, this was the first Greek where we weren't offered an ouzo either at the beginning or at the end (after a hefty bill). I hope the owners think carefully about what makes a Greek and why Bakali was so popular before.

We had dinner there today. What was once tasty and nice has become a highlight thanks to the new owners. The dishes were exceptional both in terms of taste and appearance. Everything is freshly prepared and you can definitely taste it. Service was consistently attentive and courteous. We will definitely come back and can more than recommend the restaurant.

Hmmm.. We were celebrating a birthday, I choose this Greek guy because he has SUPRR ratings. Unfortunately, we were taught better. The food was boring and borderline. We had everything from starters (which were ok - value for money, too expensive) to bifteki, souflaki and fish... The Bifteki was a joke, it was a meat plant with minimal sheep's cheese, tasted funny! The fish came on absolutely overcooked vegetables (my sister-in-law threw up from the fish) The Greek pasta with fish was returned whole! That chocolate soufle was a pudding... Overall, the food was an absolute disgrace for a decent amount of money!!!

The change of tenant did not do the restaurant any good. Loveless salad with almost no dressing, the meat pressed together and dry, the potatoes ready out of the bag and the pita soggy and tasteless. What should be highlighted is the nice service. But you don't have to come for food

The lettuce leaves were then served again as a side salad with the main course, with a little grated carrot. Gyros not crispy and hardly seasoned. The onions were sliced ​​so thin that they couldn't add any flavor. Another visit is not worth it.

Love the new management since December! The food is so fresh, delicious and authentic. The service is superb- they make the overall experience unlike any other restaurant. The place speaks for itself and has a great value for money. It feels like Greece away from Greece with a touch of German taste. My favorite spot in Munich. ♥️

The best food we ate in Munich and not because we prefer Greek cuisine because of nationality...very careful dishes, great raw material and great flavors!!! Pork gyro much better than gyros you find in Athens!!!! Mushroom risotto EXCELLENT!!! Honestly, I don't need to analyze the dishes one by one..... The staff is wonderful!!! helpful and kind, nothing to do with all the staff we met in the city, always with a smile on their faces!!! Thanasis, Lina and Ilias are awesome and happily explain everything you want to know about the catalog!!!! Very good atmosphere with notes of Greece!!!! everything was great and I wish we had come from our first night in the city and I believe we wouldn't have tried anything else!!! I honestly have no words!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!!thank you for everything!!!!!

Wir haben heute tou Bakali in Obermenzing besucht ich kann euch nur eins sagen wirklich top das ist griechische Qualität alles ware sensationell. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr schnell. Der Besitzer war ein junger Mann der uns alles am Tisch dass essen gebracht hat und erklärt hat was dass wäre. Wir fanden alles super. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. Macht weiter so 👍

Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtet, gemütlich und rustikal. Obwohl wir Mittags kurz nach Öffnung die ersten Besucher waren, dauerten die Gerichte von der Bestellung bis zum Tisch doch verhältnismäßig lange (knappe halbe Stunde) Das bestellte Gyros mit Tsatziki und zusätzlich bestelltem Pita war ok - nicht mehr und nicht weniger, ebenso die Kalamaris. Das Gyros wurde anstatt Pommes (wie in der Karte angeboten) mit Kartoffelscheiben serviert. Das wurde von mir auch nicht beanstandet, da es mir in diesem Falle egal war. Lediglich ein Hinweis von Seiten des Kellners wäre schon angebracht gewesen. Die Beilagensalate zu beiden Gerichten waren lächerlich klein, Die Portionsgrößen der Hauptgeriche (vor allem die Kalamaris) unterdurchschnittlich klein. Wir waren in der Vergangenheit bei etlichen Griechen beim Essen. Einen Ouzo "aufs Haus" gab es bei Allen - Hier jedoch nicht. Gehört u.M. einfach dazu. In Zukunft dann doch wieder lieber zu unserem Stamm-Griechen Nähe Schloss Nymphenburg....in allen Belangen besser.

Die neueste Übernahme des Pachtvertrags erwies sich als herbe Enttäuschung für diejenigen, die einst Qualität, Geschmack und Raffinesse beim ehemaligen Pächter erwartet hatten. Die Maracuja-Schorle glich nun einem Mineralwasser mit farblichem Akzent und der Beilagensalat fristete sein Dasein bereits ein paar Stunden, in kleinen Schälchen. Wir bestellten Kalbsleber und waren überrascht, wie dick, zäh und flachsig eine Leber sein kann. Als das Personal sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit erkundigte, fragten wir nach und wurden in unserer Annahme, es würde sich um Rinderleber handeln, bestätigt. Auf unsere Frage, wieso wir eine Rinderleber bekommen und eine Kalbsleber bezahlen sollen, wurde desinteressiert mit den Achseln geguckt. Wir verabschieden uns schweren Herzens von diesem griechischen Restaurant. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

1a Gyros. Dünn geschnitten, dezent gewürzt, nicht zu salzig, kein Knoblauch. Schmeckt wie auf Kreta. Ambiente lädt zum verweilen ein. Kleine Kritik: Beim gefüllten Calamar sollte erwähnt werden dass viel Paprika dabei ist.

Ich war am Sonntag Abend mit meiner Familie dort essen und es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und das Personal ist auch sehr Freundlich. Wir konnten gleich bestellen und es gab auch keine zu langen Wartezeiten bis die Bestellungen gebracht worden sind. Die Atmosphäre war auch sehr angenehm und gemütlich. Das Restaurant ist aufjedenfall empfehlenswert. Mich werden die dort ganz bestimmt noch sehr oft sehen.

Ich war im Juli hier und war ein bisschen enttäuscht, weil der Service sehr langsam war und mir die falschen Bestellungen gebrachte wurden, weil der Kellner kein Deutsch konnte. Am Samstag kam ich zurück und war zufrieden, das Essen war sehr gut und es gibt ein neues, sehr freundliches Team Update: Leider jetzt katastrophal. Essen kalt ungenießbar, alte Service war kompetent und nett. Komisch das die Bewertungen alle aus Griechenland kommen.

για δεύτερη φορά επισκέψεις σε αυτό το εστιατόριο μπορώ να πω ότι επιτέλους τρώω κάτι διαφορετικό ελληνικό προσεγμένο και παραδοσιακό φαγητό το καινούργιο τους μενού είναι αρκετά νόστιμο κάποια πιάτα τα οποία Τα δοκίμασα μου άρεσαν αρκετά απλά αυτό που με τράβηξε ιδιαίτερα την προσοχή είναι το πιάτο της φωτογραφίας το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και σίγουρα θα ξαναέρθω...
