Whenever we are in Leipzig for work, we are guests here. The food is delicious and Jannis is a great host. And the grappa is highly recommended 😊

My wife and I spontaneously decided on this great restaurant today. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and even without a reservation we were given a nice seat in the very busy restaurant. We ordered pasta with strips of beef fillet, champions with spinach in a pepper cream sauce and baked penne with chicken and spinach in a cream sauce. What struck us positively was the very good taste, the sauces tasted homemade and not like they came out of a bag. I also found the peppercorns in my sauce very appetizing. After these portions we were well full, but we really wanted to try a dessert, because it really tasted so delicious we couldn't pass it up. We ordered tiramisu (small version), the piece was huge and almost a meal in itself. But the tiramisu was also very tasty. The staff was very courteous and welcoming, you could really feel comfortable in this great atmosphere. The farewell was also very warm. When we are back in Leipzig, we will pay the restaurant a second visit.

Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership, the food is no longer as good, but the service was okay.

Among other things, we ordered an antipasti plate for 1 person and received the bill for a plate for 2 people. Unfortunately we only noticed this later. The promised bread with the starters was not brought to us either.

All in all it was OK but unfortunately somehow not anymore. The truffle pasta had indefinable black lint on top, but unfortunately there was no taste at all. The salami pizza was a good size but had way too much cheese that didn't even manage to melt properly in the oven. The carpaccio was also ok, but the “whistle” was missing here too. The champions weren't marinated, I completely forgot the parmesan and the balsamic cream couldn't save it. Rather disappointing for the price, but the service was very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. The toilets are clean and tidy.

The service was fine. The food (steak and spaghetti carbonara) partly consists of ready-made products. After the little criticism, the waiter was immediately pissed. The other waiter was constantly annoying the guests with a cigarette in his hand. If you want a delicious steak, you should invest a dollar more and go on the steak train. Everything was more than top. It's also close by (approx. 500 m)

Unfortunately we were disappointed overall. The service was very inattentive and slow - you felt like you were more of a nuisance than welcome. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not child-friendly at all: no changing table and generally little consideration for families. When we ate we had the impression that a lot of it wasn't fresh, but rather out of a bag. The pizza was OK, but nothing special. The billing was particularly annoying: several items were calculated incorrectly, which we only noticed after more detailed calculations. It's a shame, because the atmosphere was actually quite nice - but we won't be back like that.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. The two of us were there for dinner. Both pizza calzones were undercooked and gave us digestive problems. This has never happened before (we eat there twice a year). Still a shame.

I can definitely recommend you to visit this pizzeria. Both the pizza bread and salad as well as the pasta were very tasty. We enjoyed it very much. The service and toilets were also great.

Nice restaurant right in the center. Friendly staff, great service. We couldn't decide between 2 dishes, so we were simply offered to create a new dish based on our 2 preferences. A nightcap that wasn't even on the menu was conjured up for us. Great! Gladly again.

If you like good Italian food you should definitely stop by there. What bothered me a bit was that the service could have paid a little more attention to us. We sat in front of our empty plates for a very long time until someone came.

We ate there on Christmas Day during our visit to Leipzig over Christmas and were all very satisfied. The quality of the food and service is great.

Good, but nothing too special. Restaurant wasn't too busy and the food was good. You can't go wrong with a visit. The pasta is recommended, the pizza not so much. All around a good visit that was fine.

The four of us came over for dinner around 6:30 p.m. At that time there were still seats. Drinks and food were served quickly and the waiter was friendly. Both the main course and dessert were delicious 🤤 and filled me well. I found the ambience to be pleasant, also because our table was in a quiet corner.

Today we had our nursing network get-together in the “Toskana” restaurant. We were able to enjoy super friendly and lively hospitality. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is appealing. Definitely a recommendation.

Anyone who knows Vitello Tonnato knows that you can do a lot wrong... but here everything was just right!! I haven't eaten such a good Vitello in a long time and surrounded by a very harmonious atmosphere!!! We can only recommend Tuscany!!! A really very good Italian with excellent service!!!

Centrally located restaurant with outdoor dining in the pedestrian zone. Attractive atmosphere, very friendly and courteous service. The selection of dishes is diverse. We had tomato soup as a starter and pizza/lasagna as a main course. Everything was very tasty and rich. The prices were reasonable. There was nothing to complain about. I can recommend, we will come back.

Don't let the first impression of "tourist shack" fool you. There is really quality here! The pizza with a perfect thin base with a hipped edge, ham, salami, avocados etc. is only of good quality, not the cheapest as is often the case. And Janis, the Greek with humor and perfect service. Compliment!

Wir hatten für 10 Personen reserviert, aber nur einen Tisch, bestehend aus 4 Zweiertischen bekommen. Wenn wir spontan gekommen wären, hätte ich damit kein Problem, aber nicht bei einer Reservierung. Unsere Essen waren alle gut, da gab es nichts zu meckern. Dafür hat uns der Service nicht gefallen, insbesondere nach dem Abräumen der Teller. Wenn man ca. 30 Minuten warten muss, bis man gefragt wird, ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen, finde ich das unhöflich. Da wir direkt am Kücheneingang saßen, konnten wir nicht übersehen werden.

We were on a girls trip in Leipzig and ended up in Tuscany at the end of the evening. It was comfortable to sit outside due to the great weather. The service staff was friendly and tried very hard. I had gnocchi with mozzarella and a red sauce. It tasted pretty good but to be honest I expected more from an Italian. The mozzarella balls were cold and not yet melted.

Spontaneously got a table without a reservation. Nevertheless, a reservation is recommended. Food and service were very good. Gladly again.

In a nutshell - the food was delicious, the service was great, despite the house being full, the food was served very quickly. Clear recommendation!

On August 31st, 2024, we (18 people) celebrated my birthday in Tuscany and had a cozy meal. The food was perfect! With 18 people there was of course a large variety of dishes, but no matter which dish - everything was fantastic! The service was great and even the advice on dishes regarding gluten intolerance was absolutely competent. We really enjoyed the evening! :-) And we're looking forward to having a great meal again in the cozy Tuscan atmosphere. Warm greetings to the entire team

We were here for the first time today and were very satisfied. The service and the food were top. Individual wishes were gladly implemented. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend Tuscany.

The food was very tasty and was served by Jannis. Jannis accommodated all wishes (including dishes that were not on the menu). The children's schnitzels were of high quality and perfectly fried. The pasta was great and the eggplant casserole was simply delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening centrally and a good address for dinner.

A large selection of many flavors of ice cream. Our chosen ice cream flavors were very tasty, as was the cappucino. We were shown the menus and will definitely have dinner here. The service was very friendly.

I haven't eaten so badly in years. Spices apparently sold out. Even the pesto tasted like it came from a jar. Tortellini were just topped with pureed tomatoes and cheese was thrown on top. Bella Italia is absolutely non-existent. That was the most expensive bad meal we've ever had. The good reviews are absolutely incomprehensible. Don't you have any demands? Unfortunately I have to give one star

My girlfriend and I spontaneously walked down Nikolaistrasse and passed Italian restaurants and suddenly felt like having an Italian dinner. Although there were two other Italian restaurants across the street, we chose this one because of the number of customers. After we were seated outside, a waiter immediately brought us the menus. For starters, we shared an antipasto plate for one which included a variety of delicious treats. For the main course we chose tortellini and spaghetti carbonara, which unfortunately didn't taste particularly good. Both dishes were bland, boring and dry. We didn't even manage half of it and had the rest packed up to season at home. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood.

The food is good, the location in the pedestrian zone is very nice - good for people watching! 😉 The service, however, is very dull and lacks enthusiasm. This of course affects the mood and the ambience. Even when I remarked that the piece of tiramisu was really great, there wasn't even a tired smile. This is a pity.

Ok I am in Germany so I , probably, shouldn’t eat Italian in the first place or at least I should do some research before, but we were in Germany for more then 10 days and my GF wasn’t feeling great so she was in a mood for some comfort food so let’s go here it’s 4.3 rated a lot of reviews, how bad can it be? So the ppl there are not Italian, and that’s ok, but it would be cool if they understood and transmitted some of the culture and language and make you somewhat feel like in an Italian place. The only Italian you can hear in there is a broken playlist that plays Toto Cutugno’s Italiano every third song. They still need to discover Felicita or Gloria. lol The service was slow but decent, they were polite and nice. So we ordered 2 zuppa di pomodoro for starters and the soup was mediocre but edible. Both me and my gf are huge fans of carbonara and I knew it was huge risk to try it here, so it is really in a good percentage my fault, you cannot order carbonara in a random Italian place in Germany. So this is absolutely by far the worst carbonara I ever had in my life. Instead of guanciale these ppl put ham so not even bacon but ham OMG, there was barely any cheese instead they put that disgusting cheese cream and there was no pepper and certainly no taste in this horrible horrible dish. I made a picture but this is when I already removed the cheese leafs they put over the pasta (not pecorino or grana or parmiggiano but some tasteless cheese) and added some pepper to try to get some taste out of the thing. Wow. So I don’t usually write many reviews and I usually prefer only to write when I eat something exceptional but this disgrace had to be mentioned. Anyway for a good carbonara either you make it yourself or you go to Italy and even there choose well. Such a simple dish that can be so bad if done wrong. And this was wrong in every possible way. Free tip for the restaurant management if they want to improve their carbonara go to YouTube and type king of carbonara shares his pasta recipe and just do what he does. And ofc buy the right ingredients some guanciale (shouldn’t be that hard to find it in Germany with all the pork consumed ) and order some pecorino and grana padano and put some fresh pepper omg. Italy is not that far away.

Easy to reach and easy to find, but better on foot or by train, parking and generally a car are rather poor here. We were here for dinner, the staff was very friendly, it was a pleasant atmosphere and our small requests, such as a different chair, were easily fulfilled. The food came quickly and tasted very good, the portions were large enough. The prices are moderate. The selection from the menu is also great, and the ice cream offering is particularly noteworthy. All in all very nice here, we would like to come back.

Non tanto per la cucina, che per essere in Germania non era nemmeno troppo schifosa, ma per il personsle; abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti prima che ci portassero il menu, altri 20 per avere i piatti, ma il top il conto! Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo tre volte per poi sentirci dire che non funzionava il pos, quando vedevamo che continuava a far pagare birre al tavolo vicino al nostro. Mai più! Da evitare

AVOID IT!! Not so much for the cuisine, which wasn't too bad for Germany, but for the personsle; we had to wait 20 minutes before they brought us the menu, another 20 to get the dishes, but the top was the bill! We had to ask three times only to be told that the POS wasn't working, when we saw that he continued to charge the table next to us for beers. Never again! To be avoided

Due to an organizational faux pas, we were spontaneously looking for a new restaurant for a family celebration with 45 people - at Toskana Leipzig we not only had the opportunity to show up there within two hours, but were also able to have a really nice evening there with friendly staff Service and great food! A really great location. The landlord is very welcoming and the food arrived in no time. The taste was really perfect. I would say it was the best pasta I've had in a long time. This significantly improved my evening after a long journey.

We recently went there for dinner, we chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service and prices were okay and it was quick, but I have never experienced such bland food. If I were to make this at home with ready-made pesto, small mozzarella balls (I've never seen that before) and gnocchi, it would probably look more loving and taste similar, if not better, and within 10 minutes. It looked very sad and I've never experienced anything like this from an Italian. It has to be said that the restaurant was virtually empty at the time. A layperson would also have done a much better job with my companion's spaghetti carbonara. Very unfortunate.

We had a spontaneous meal in Tuscany a while ago. The food was very excellent. I can especially recommend the bruschetta, it was really, really tasty, one of the many meals on offer. The service was also very friendly and very attentive. I'll definitely go back 😊👍

There was a hair in my sundae, which luckily was replaced. The cherries in another sundae were bad. However, everything else tasted very good.
