On August 31st, 2024, we (18 people) celebrated my birthday in Tuscany and had a cozy meal. The food was perfect! With 18 people there was of course a large variety of dishes, but no matter which dish - everything was fantastic! The service was great and even the advice on dishes regarding gluten intolerance was absolutely competent. We really enjoyed the evening! :-) And we're looking forward to having a great meal again in the cozy Tuscan atmosphere. Warm greetings to the entire team

We were here for the first time today and were very satisfied. The service and the food were top. Individual wishes were gladly implemented. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend Tuscany.

The food was very tasty and was served by Jannis. Jannis accommodated all wishes (including dishes that were not on the menu). The children's schnitzels were of high quality and perfectly fried. The pasta was great and the eggplant casserole was simply delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening centrally and a good address for dinner.

A large selection of many flavors of ice cream. Our chosen ice cream flavors were very tasty, as was the cappucino. We were shown the menus and will definitely have dinner here. The service was very friendly.

I haven't eaten so badly in years. Spices apparently sold out. Even the pesto tasted like it came from a jar. Tortellini were just topped with pureed tomatoes and cheese was thrown on top. Bella Italia is absolutely non-existent. That was the most expensive bad meal we've ever had. The good reviews are absolutely incomprehensible. Don't you have any demands? Unfortunately I have to give one star

My girlfriend and I spontaneously walked down Nikolaistrasse and passed Italian restaurants and suddenly felt like having an Italian dinner. Although there were two other Italian restaurants across the street, we chose this one because of the number of customers. After we were seated outside, a waiter immediately brought us the menus. For starters, we shared an antipasto plate for one which included a variety of delicious treats. For the main course we chose tortellini and spaghetti carbonara, which unfortunately didn't taste particularly good. Both dishes were bland, boring and dry. We didn't even manage half of it and had the rest packed up to season at home. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood.

The food is good, the location in the pedestrian zone is very nice - good for people watching! 😉 The service, however, is very dull and lacks enthusiasm. This of course affects the mood and the ambience. Even when I remarked that the piece of tiramisu was really great, there wasn't even a tired smile. This is a pity.

Ok I am in Germany so I , probably, shouldn’t eat Italian in the first place or at least I should do some research before, but we were in Germany for more then 10 days and my GF wasn’t feeling great so she was in a mood for some comfort food so let’s go here it’s 4.3 rated a lot of reviews, how bad can it be? So the ppl there are not Italian, and that’s ok, but it would be cool if they understood and transmitted some of the culture and language and make you somewhat feel like in an Italian place. The only Italian you can hear in there is a broken playlist that plays Toto Cutugno’s Italiano every third song. They still need to discover Felicita or Gloria. lol The service was slow but decent, they were polite and nice. So we ordered 2 zuppa di pomodoro for starters and the soup was mediocre but edible. Both me and my gf are huge fans of carbonara and I knew it was huge risk to try it here, so it is really in a good percentage my fault, you cannot order carbonara in a random Italian place in Germany. So this is absolutely by far the worst carbonara I ever had in my life. Instead of guanciale these ppl put ham so not even bacon but ham OMG, there was barely any cheese instead they put that disgusting cheese cream and there was no pepper and certainly no taste in this horrible horrible dish. I made a picture but this is when I already removed the cheese leafs they put over the pasta (not pecorino or grana or parmiggiano but some tasteless cheese) and added some pepper to try to get some taste out of the thing. Wow. So I don’t usually write many reviews and I usually prefer only to write when I eat something exceptional but this disgrace had to be mentioned. Anyway for a good carbonara either you make it yourself or you go to Italy and even there choose well. Such a simple dish that can be so bad if done wrong. And this was wrong in every possible way. Free tip for the restaurant management if they want to improve their carbonara go to YouTube and type king of carbonara shares his pasta recipe and just do what he does. And ofc buy the right ingredients some guanciale (shouldn’t be that hard to find it in Germany with all the pork consumed ) and order some pecorino and grana padano and put some fresh pepper omg. Italy is not that far away.

Easy to reach and easy to find, but better on foot or by train, parking and generally a car are rather poor here. We were here for dinner, the staff was very friendly, it was a pleasant atmosphere and our small requests, such as a different chair, were easily fulfilled. The food came quickly and tasted very good, the portions were large enough. The prices are moderate. The selection from the menu is also great, and the ice cream offering is particularly noteworthy. All in all very nice here, we would like to come back.

Non tanto per la cucina, che per essere in Germania non era nemmeno troppo schifosa, ma per il personsle; abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti prima che ci portassero il menu, altri 20 per avere i piatti, ma il top il conto! Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo tre volte per poi sentirci dire che non funzionava il pos, quando vedevamo che continuava a far pagare birre al tavolo vicino al nostro. Mai più! Da evitare

AVOID IT!! Not so much for the cuisine, which wasn't too bad for Germany, but for the personsle; we had to wait 20 minutes before they brought us the menu, another 20 to get the dishes, but the top was the bill! We had to ask three times only to be told that the POS wasn't working, when we saw that he continued to charge the table next to us for beers. Never again! To be avoided

A really great location. The landlord is very welcoming and the food arrived in no time. The taste was really perfect. I would say it was the best pasta I've had in a long time. This significantly improved my evening after a long journey.

We recently went there for dinner, we chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service and prices were okay and it was quick, but I have never experienced such bland food. If I were to make this at home with ready-made pesto, small mozzarella balls (I've never seen that before) and gnocchi, it would probably look more loving and taste similar, if not better, and within 10 minutes. It looked very sad and I've never experienced anything like this from an Italian. It has to be said that the restaurant was virtually empty at the time. A layperson would also have done a much better job with my companion's spaghetti carbonara. Very unfortunate.

We had a spontaneous meal in Tuscany a while ago. The food was very excellent. I can especially recommend the bruschetta, it was really, really tasty, one of the many meals on offer. The service was also very friendly and very attentive. I'll definitely go back 😊👍

I've never had such bad Italian food. 2 dry breaded schnitzels, each with a slice of mozzarella on a slice of tomato. No sauce, f...dry. Plus rosemary potatoes. No salad. Terrible. My opinion: Tourist trap.

We were there for a company party. Some dishes were good, some mediocre. The starter plates, for example, were good. My pizza, I certainly have higher standards here, I would put it in the bottom third. I would have loved to get a kebab from nearby. But it didn't work because of a company event. I wouldn't come again privately.

The pizza was delicious, but unfortunately the service was terrible, the woman who served us was very intrusive, did not know English and was rude, she mixed up the salad that we wanted to order, while blaming me for this and tried to make me feel guilty by saying that she would pay for her own inattention, which looked terrible at the same time, in a table bowl, but other staff are more friendly, they charged the phone and the waiter brought out a candle with a pleasant smile, the atmosphere is pleasant, but there is no desire to come to this place anymore.

During our short vacation in Leipzig we also visited the Pizzeria Toskana. The atmosphere is very appealing and we liked it. The service is quite quick and friendly. The prices are in the middle range. I ate a Hawaiian pizza. However, for the price I expected fresh pineapple and not one from a can. The taste was ok, but nothing earth-shattering. All in all, we can still recommend the restaurant.

We had ordered pizzas to pick up. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant surprise when paying as the prices were significantly higher than stated on the homepage. This should definitely be updated! The pizzas tasted good.

We ate here at the end of our day trip to Leipzig. We even spontaneously got a table for two without making a reservation. We had bruschetta (9/10) as a starter and a pizza (10/10) and lasagne (10/10) as mains. The staff was super nice and the food came very quickly. Above all, the time between starter and main course was perfect. Price performance is also good. Overall, this restaurant absolutely deserves the 5 stars.

Good food and worth its prices. However, the service can be better. Another problem is reservations. You have to fight for a reservation and then get a table.

We were there with six people. The drinks were delicious, as was the food, extra requests were no problem. And we had no problem with the service, we were served and looked after very nicely. One point is deducted because we had to wait an hour for our food and everything seemed a bit chaotic.

We weren't served independently all evening! We ordered a table for 8 people on Saturday evening...that sounds like good sales if you were to serve your customers. Today we visited this restaurant quite excited as we were hungry and it looked beautiful from the outside. We do not speak German, however, when we ordered we made sure to point with our finger what specifically from the menu we want. The ordered came (AFTER 40 MINUTES) wrong. I ordered a Dijon mustard salmon with potatoes. I received sour cream pasta with salmon.. I did not want to wait for another 40 minutes for my dish, so I decided to keep the disk. When I took a bite of the fish it was: 1. COLD 2. Burned 3. Uncooked!!! If you would tell me ever these 3 things about a cooked fish I would think it’s a joke. No, it was that bad. I called the waiter, he apologized and told me I will get my correct dish in 10 minutes. Not in the most humble way.. While waiting for our food for the first 40 minutes, we drank our drinks in the first 10 minutes. Nobody came to ask us if we wanted anything else to drink! Our glasses stayed empty on the table for the remainder of the dinner. My correct dish arrived 20 minutes after. Meantime the waiter bought to the table a free starter - bruschetta. We had already eaten as a starter the garlic pizza, of course we didn’t want to eat bruschetta as well.. When the fish arrived, it was cooked ok, but the size of it was smaller than the few slices of cucumber from the plate.. My partner ordered a schnitzel with baked potatoes. The potatoes were half cooked inside, but burned on the outside. Definitely kept boiled in a fridge/freezer and then just burned for the dish. The meat from the schnitzel seemed cooked frozen. We were very bothered by the unapologetic and not at all humble behavior of the staff. We were charged the full price of the meal and none of us could even finish the dishes. We would definitely not return here.

Tuscany was always a must for me on business trips to Leipzig. The waitresses are very friendly. Even if you spontaneously needed a table for 10 people in an almost full restaurant, we were helped very kindly. The food was excellent, the steaks were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommended.

We were extremely positively surprised, despite a few moderately good reviews, we spent a very nice evening here. In front of the restaurant there is a mulled wine bar with a patio heater if anyone wants to stay outside. In the restaurant, the beautiful furniture, the decor and the great service staff are a great reason to linger and relax. There was a very cozy atmosphere and we felt welcome and very well looked after throughout, without there being too many questions. Of our total of 4 starters and main courses, everything tasted and looked very good, and the drinks were also very good (if anyone cares about that, there is also non-Nestle water here for a great variety). For us a perfect evening with pleasant service and great food, it was our first but definitely not the last time here, thank you very much!

Wir waren heute spontan mit 9 Personen essen. Das Ambiente hat uns sofort gefallen und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Wir hatten verschiedene Speisen und Getränke, die alle mega lecker waren. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Leipzig kommen wir sehr gern wieder.

An einem Freitagabend im Weihnachtsmarkttrubel einen Tisch im Restaurant ohne Reservierung für 9 Personen zu finden, schien fast unmöglich. Aber Yannis aus dem Restaurant Toskana machte es möglich. Wir verbrachten, Dank Yannis und seinem Team, einen fantastischen und sehr lustigen Abend bei leckerem Essen. Da wir uns alle nach 5 Jahren das erste Mal wiedergesehen haben, wurde es auch etwas lauter, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Zum Abschied spendierte uns Yannis noch einen Limoncelli. Weil es uns so gut dort gefallen hat, kehrten wir, inzwischen 13 Personen, am nächsten Abend bis zum Ladenschluss auf einen Absacker wieder dort ein. Wenn ihr einen schönen Abend bei leckerem Essen und guter Stimmung genießen wollt, geht in das Toskana.

So muss Gastfreundschaft!!! Wir hatten am Freitag Abend keine Reservierung für 9 Personen und Jannis in der Trattoria TOSKANA war so flexibel und spontan, und hat für uns extra einen Tisch gezaubert und uns damit einen unvergessen schönen Abend beschert. Das Essen war lecker, das Service einwandfrei und die Stimmung Bombe😉! Als krönenden Abschluss gab es einen Limoncello aufs Haus. Danke Jannis & Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können Trattoria TOSKANA bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen!

Ich kann das Toskana Leipzig nur weiterempfehlen. Tolles Ambiente und sehr bemühte und gastfreundliche Bedienung. Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Pizzen knusprig und lecker, man merkt das in der Küche ein Sizilianischer Koch steht. Besonders möchte ich mich beim Chef Janis (Johannes) bedanken, der uns, obwohl wir keine Reservierung am Freitag Abend hatten und das Lokal gut gefüllt war, trotzdem einen Tisch organisiert hat. Zum krönenden Abschluss hat er unserer Gruppe (9 Personen) noch eine Runde Limoncello spendiert. Auch sehr gut ist der dazugehörige Glühweinstsnd mit güstigem Glühwein um € 2,5 Danke an das "ganze Toskana Team" dass uns einen unvergesslichen Abend bescherte.
