Amazing food, outstanding service, and Anzelm and Anas, in particular, made the evening unforgettable! Thank you so much for this wonderful evening.

I ordered dish number 244, but it turned out to be extremely dry pasta. There was no trace of cream or lobster. Even worse, the waiter didn't bring us the garlic and chili oil that was supposed to come with it—we only discovered it at another table as we were leaving. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

From the service to the view and the food, everything was wonderful. The waiters were very attentive and competent when it came to the menu, with tact and humor. The dishes were harmonious and authentic, but also beautifully presented. I felt like every last detail was thought through, made with care and passion. Dessert and drinks were also perfect. I'd happily go back again, said a very picky and spoiled customer. By the way: This is rarely an issue for us, but the value for money was very good :)

A difficult task when you have to choose between one of the 100 (!) varieties... We really enjoyed the approximately 40 cm (!) pizza from the wood-fired oven! Generously topped on a thin crust and perfectly cooked, exactly how a pizza should be! Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating!

A great restaurant where all pasta dishes and pizzas can be ordered gluten-free. All staff members are knowledgeable about the topic and can answer questions about preparation. As parents, it's very important to us that we can eat there with our daughter with peace of mind.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im La Grotta. Es war ein herausragendes Essen und auch ein super Service. Wir haben lange gesessen und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir würden jedem empfehlen dieses Restaurant mindestens einmal zu besuchen. Die Auswahl ist wirklich etwas besonderes, was man nicht jeden Tag isst.

We had dinner at La Grotta. The food was outstanding, and the service was also excellent. We sat for a long time and felt completely at home. We would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant at least once. The selection is truly special, something you don't get to eat every day.

Grande, grande, grande!!! There's not much more to say. Excellent pizzas, a vitello tonnato to die for. If the drive from Munich weren't so long, La Grotta would have the potential to become our favorite Italian restaurant.

Today was the first time I went to LA GROTTA with my mum. I would never have thought that I would get such a fantastic pizza there. First of all, there was a huge variety of pizzas to choose from, something for everyone. It was ready after 10 minutes, and you could see that this was a perfect pizza. The dough was great, the base and crust thin and crispy, the sauce tomatoey and spicy with a hint of sweetness. The cheese was stringy and the salami was crispy. Even after 10 minutes, the pizza was still very hot. As a big pizza fan, I can only say that this is what a good pizza should taste like. That wasn't the last time I've been there, maybe I'll come back soon. The full 5 stars are 100% accurate.

The pizzas were delicious. There was a wide selection with great toppings. They also offer gluten-free pizza and various gluten-free pasta options. All sauces are gluten-free. A paradise for our celiacs and anyone who loves pizza. We'll definitely be back!

The pizza was simply outstanding – crispy crust, fluffy dough, and truly fresh, flavorful ingredients. You can taste the passion that goes into the cooking here. I was particularly impressed by the gluten-free options: both the pizza and pasta are available gluten-free – and they're so good you'd hardly notice the difference! The servers were super friendly, attentive, and took plenty of time to explain everything. You immediately feel welcome. The restaurant's prices are also more than fair – great quality at absolutely reasonable prices. In short: If you're looking for good food, warm service, and a truly Italian atmosphere, you'll be completely happy here. I'll definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars – highly recommended.

The food was good and tasty, but the pizzas are very large. They could be a bit smaller so you can eat them all in one sitting. The seating is very tight.

We live 4.5 hours away from Leipzig... Even though our reasons for coming to Leipzig were different... This pizza alone would justify the trip!!! It is truly the best pizza we've ever eaten... The dough, the sauce, the other ingredients are simply perfect! ...and I've actually eaten a lot of pizzas in my life! A very nice Italian restaurant. The server was very friendly, attentive, and gave us excellent advice. I've never had a pizza as good as this one. We ordered the group pizza and were full for five people. The pistachio soufflé is especially recommended. We'd love to come back :)

Friendly staff, huge pizzas, excellent service. All in all, a great place that we'd happily visit again on our next visit to Leipzig. It gets very busy, so you should make a reservation in advance. We had a seat right at the front next to the wood-fired oven, where we could watch the pizza being prepared. Huge praise to the pizza chef! The rotating wooden plates are a good idea in themselves, but some are already quite worn and therefore annoying when eating with a knife and fork. The knives could also be sharper.

Were there today without a reservation. We were lucky and got a table. Would receive a nice and friendly welcome. Order was taken quickly and appetizer came quickly. We were asked if we would be willing to change tables after the starter because a larger group needed more seats. Of course we did and we were offered a Prosecco in return. We'll deflect that. Then our pizzas arrived...What can I say, very tasty, great toppings and super crispy. Too big for me, I couldn't do it. A box was immediately brought in so I could take the rest with me. Since we couldn't manage any more dessert or something similar and we had skipped the Prosecco, they removed my husband's second cola from the menu. We have rarely experienced such nice, polite and courteous service with such delicious food. Unfortunately Leipzig is so far away for us, otherwise we would come back...

I don't even know how to describe it, but I think I'll keep it short and sweet. From the walk into the local to the farewell, everything was simply excellent. The food is a culinary delight and the wine is perfectly selected by the staff. It is always a recommendation to eat here.

Unfortunately no recommendation :( First of all, the good: The service was very good, and the ambience was also completely okay. The pilsner tapped in-house was also very tasty. Now the problem: We each had a pizza, the advantage and disadvantage of which could have been the size. She was about 35cm on average, maybe 40cm tall, so huge. But: the taste is mediocre, it can be better, it can be worse. The pizzas were okay expensive for the size, we paid around €18 for each pizza. (Both vegetarian) The fact that chili oil was available free of charge upon request is once again a credit to the lightning-fast service, but unfortunately the jalapeños marinated in water instead of oil tasted like nothing but disgusting. And that's how I felt personally, which is why the obligatory tiramisu had to be canceled. I don't know whether it was the quality of the ingredients, the bad chilli oil or my tendency to try to finish the plate because it was ordered. I kept the pizza in until I got to the hotel - but it was tight.
